Nine Percent scenarios my brain thought of when I first saw their pics

ALRIGHT FIRST OF ALL!! SILVER KUNKUN!! I’M DEAD!! NEXT OF ALL, I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT OF SCENARIOS WHEN LOOKING AT THIS PIC, MKAY!

SCENARIO 1: Kun saw you attending an event that he was also attending (let’s say mafia/gang meeting, which you have no idea of) and he asked for one of the staffs to guide you to another place so he could meet you and ensures your safety

“Please ensure her to the other room, I’ll be there shortly”

SCENARIO 2: So, second scenario, I can imagine Kun seeing a guy eyeing you from afar (let’s say it’s still the same meeting he was attending) and other men were either trying to come up to you/flirt with you (which, Kun does not approve whatsoever) and he requested permission from the staff so he can go to your side.

“I want them, in a room. Alive.”

ALRIGHT BOI!! THIS SMILEY SUNSHINE JUST FLIPPED 180 AND BECAME LIKE A CEO (NAHHH, ALSO THIS IS SCENARIO DOESN’T REALLY HV YOU BUT IT INVOLVES YOU, JUST HEAR ME OUT!!)

So, I imagine that Nongnong and you were very close, working under the same company and all. Then, our precious nongnong (because of his hardwork and sunshine smile) was promoted into the CEO of the company and he appointed you to be his assistant. THEN!!! Y’all had to attend this meeting with a business partner which was fine and all until the freaking representative of the business (a guy) was eye-f*cking you, would even discuss the business more with you instead of Nong (because let’s be real here, who would’ve thought this soft boi is the CEO). Time skip to after the meeting, Nongnong requested to meet this representative, alone!! 

Then, Nong was like “How about we talk real business here. Like how you were eye-fucking (OMO CURSE NONG) my assistant-girlfriend”

ALRIGHT, “BEATEN UP” CHENG IS LIKE HAWT?! LIKE HOW?! ALSO, THIS SCENARIO MAY BE A QUICK ONE BUT LIKE, THIS IS WHAT MY BRAIN THOUGHT OF SO YEA...

This pic, I imagine, something happened to you and Cheng was not going to let it slide that easily. After taking care of you and making sure you were safe and rested, he went out and hunted searched for the very people who hurted you. Not letting any of them to catch their breath, putting them down (not permanently, but feel free to imagine this), making sure they know who they were dealing with when they went out to hurt you, even if it means that he’s risking his own life.

“They should’ve gone for the head when they had the chance. Oh well, their loss. What’s done is done”

Alright, this may be slightly similar to Chengcheng’s scenario but not really. Let’s get to it!!

So, when I first saw this, I immediately thought of both you and Justin were held captive by another gang (9% is a gang of their own and Justin was just so happen to be with only you, not the others, and was busy protecting you, being outnumbered by a lot, hence why you both ended up being held captive). Both of you were in the same room and though it was just Justin getting beaten up for information at first (which he does not leak whatsoever), it wasn’t long before the gang decided to beat you up for information as well, or even to break Justin, making him leak something. INSTEAD!! What they got was a very pissed off Justin who eventually broke free (specifically, when his geges have arrived to save them and it distracted everyone).

Justin then had a one vs one fight with the one that beated you up and the building was starting to collapse. The opposite gang thought that maybe Justin was done for. BUT NOPE, CUE THE PICTURE!! HE SURVIVED

“I’m going to give you a light head-start. By the time I count to five, you better hope that you’ll be able to find an exit because, you’re nex7 (LMFAO CAN’T HELP IT)”

SOMEONE HELP!! I’M DED (AGAIN). QUICK TALK, THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST PHOTO SHOOTS HE HAS DONE!! LIKE THE HAIRSTYLE, OUTFIT, ACCESSORIES (THAT STICK) IS JUST *CHEFS KISS*. ALRIGHT, ONTO THE SCENARIO BEFORE MY BRAIN FORGETS

So, I imagine that (again, 9% was a gang/mafia of their own, that is for a good cause!!) Yanjun was supposed to meet up with a “business partner” which he was not excited to begin with. But when he heard the news that you were hit on by the “business partner”, something in him was just burning up that he decided to invite them to his (more like 9%)’s bar and have a nice talk fight.

“I heard that you like playing with people’s feelings and emotions. Well, I like to play too. I like to play with pool, drinks, *shifts to dark gaze* the items in this bar that will soon fly around and not to mention blood”

Alright, first things first, let us ignore the yellow fluffy jacket he has and imagine he was wearing a suit XD But alright, just like Kun, I have 2 different scenarios for Mama Ting!!

Scenario 1: He was fighting with a bad guy/person that “accidentally” hurt you and the guy ended up being limp, trying to escape Zhengting. Buth oh ho no boi, you mess with the wrong person. Thanks to his long flexible legs, he managed to get through every obstacle and following the limp guy in the escape stairs.

“You should really save your energy to say your last words instead of escaping from me. Because, let’s be real, you can’t escape. I (actually the whole 9%) own this building”

Scenario 2 (a bit darker/yandere-ish): you had just found out that your boyfriend, Zhengting was basically “obsessed” with you. He doesn’t mind if you were with your friends that are girls. No, he’s actually happy that you have a good social life and maintain it. However, when it comes to guys, that was definitely not the case.

Sure, it seemed that he was the typical “jealous” boyfriend and he tried his best to not let it get the best of him. But when he found out that you and one of your best friends (that is a guy) went out together with your other friends and play an escape room together, to say Zhengting was jealous was an understatement. 

He felt slightly betrayed that you didn’t at least let him know that you were going to play an escape room with your friends and one of them just so happened to be your guy best friend. Ho-hoh, beware my friend because you were in for a treat.

What seemed to be a fake horror/thriller escape room quickly shifted to a real one the minute you and your friends heard screaming, realising that the scream came from your guys friend, all of you decided to run for your life. Shouting for help. When you saw Zhengting in the escape room, you were first relieved that your boyfriend came to save you. But when you found out he was the one that killed your guy best friend, you knew you had to escape. Unfortunately, escaping Zhengting after what you had done was nearly impossible.

“Sweetheart, where are you going? You know you can’t outrun me. I think it’s best for you to just give up. I wouldn’t want to harm you”

SORRY FOR THIS SUDDEN TURN OF EVENTS!!

First and foremost, can someone cast Ziyi (along with his bros) in like an action movie or something like dayum!!!

Alright, this is going to be a short and sweet one. You were basically held hostage and Ziyi finally came (with his bros, don’t worry) to save you. He looked at the situation and quickly diverse a plan so you wouldn’t get hurt anymore.

“Alright, Xiaogui, Cheng, create a diversion. Once they’re distracted, Jun, Justin, take them out but not kill them, we need information to what it is they want from (Y/N). Then I’ll try my best to release (Y/N). Afterwards, Nong and Zhangjing, quickly take her to safety”

Can I just say, dayum Xiaogui!! Boi skipped motorcycle, car, truck and straight for the plane (JK)

Alright, for Xiaogui’s scenario, I feel that him and the others managed to rescue you and some other hostages/victims from the enemy. However, the enemy manages to “escape”. Well, not really, since Xiaogui and Zhengting already devised a plan just in case if the enemy does manage to escape. Which is basically hijacking their system and transport. In this case, their plane 😎😎

“Hi, yes, captain Linkai a.k.a Xiaogui speaking. Do fasten your seatbelt as we prepare to head to prison shortly *cue him putting on those shades*” 

OMO!! YOU ZHANGJING IN A BAR?! LIKE!! GUYS!!! HE’S NOT JUST OUT FOR THE FOOD BUT THE DRINKS AS WELL!! OKAY OKAY, SCENARIO!!

The scenario I thought of when looking at this pic of Zhangjing is that he was spying on you and your friends (who were out partying) when the opposing enemy of 9% were at the same bar. At first, Zhangjing would be subtle with the situation. Not really showing himself and all. But when he saw you sitting at the bar and an enemy of the boys decided to hit on you (out of all the girls/guys in the bar), he just bluntly went behind the counter (because let’s be real, I’m sure the boys have enough money to buy a bar, LOL).

“Hi, welcome to our bar. How would you like your drink? Hot? Cold? Or punch? Like what I’m about to do to you if you do not get your hands off of her”

There are multiple endings to it, with different endings are different storylines.

Think of it like Mystic Messenger or something, like, you get to choose your preferred route so the first 4 parts are like day 1 of Mystic Messenger, it’s constant, non-changing.

However, not every member gets their own ending. You Zhang Jing and Wang Lin Kai (Xiao Gui) won’t be getting their own happy/bad ending because I can’t figure out how to make one for either of them. They will still be mentioned as like, maybe a wingman or something tho.

With each happy ending, Y/N might have to break other members heart too. But I won’t be spoiling anything, you’re gonna have to read it to find out. 

The endings have nothing to do with each other. 

And if Y/N is already with one of the members, the others will back off automatically, that’s like, basic rules please, you don’t flirt with your bro’s girlfriend. If you do, sucks to be an asshole.

NPC Reacts: You losing a your promise ring

Request: Open

Cai Xukun

Xukun was worried when he saw your apartment in such an unsightly condition. He would call out your name to make sure it was you who caused it. When he saw you throwing your pillows around the room screaming the words ‘where is it?”’ over and over, his worry left him. “Are you okay babe?”

You jumped in surprise and put on a fake smile, trying to not get caught. You lost your promise ring which Xukun had given you about six months ago. It was unique and you loved it which is why you couldn’t believe you had lost it, you wore it everyday. “Nothing!”

He let out a laugh. “Sure doesn’t sound like nothing.”

You’re smile fell and his worry arose once more. He quickly rushed over to you asking you what was wrong. “Xukun.. Im sorry…The ring. I lost it.”

After hearing those words he let out a sigh or relief. The ring was expensive but seeing your face filled with so much sadness made him far more scared. “That’s it?”

“Thats it? This is my ring! I lost it!”

“Awww, babe. It has to show up at some point right?” He asked pulling you into  a hug. Xukun then smiled and pulled up one of his sleeves. “Shall we start looking?”

Chen Linong

Linong felt worry when he saw that you cancelled your date. He was worried that he did something wrong so he paid you a visit to you house. He found you scanning your lawn which made him feel a little bad. You would rather be doing this than be on a date with him?  “Y/n?” He called out

You stood abruptly hiding your hand behind you back. You absolutely did not want to explain to him that the reason you cancelled your date was because you had lost the ring he had given you when you started dating. “Nongnong! What are you doing here?”

“I got worried when you cancelled…what are you doing?” He questioned as he took a step closer to you, only for you to take a step back. He raised an eyebrow in shock. He took another step, and you again, took one back. “Y/n, whats wrong with you? What did I do that you don’t even want to be near me?”

“What?” You dropped your hands when you heard his question. That made you feel more guilty than losing you ring. You bit your lip and lifted your hands to show a naked finger. You turned your heard in shame as you uttered the words, “I lost the ring.”

“Huh?” He questioned. He thought he had misheard. You cancelled because you lost the ring he had given you over a year ago? 

“The ring. I lost it. And I didn’t want to go on the date without it. I’m sorry I made you worry.” You rushed your words as you were slightly waiting for him to be mad at you for losing it. 

“Oh….” He sighed with relief filling his body. He looked at your cute sight and let out a chuckle. “Well, lets find it so we can go on our date. Yeah?”

Fan Chengcheng

Chengcheng was shocked when he saw you crying over the bathroom sink at one in the morning. His mind ran through so many thoughts but he asked if you were okay. 

“No….I lost it…”

Cheng sat up from his drowsiness, clearly worried about you. “Y/n, what’s wrong honey?”

“Your ring…I lost it…” A tear dropped from your eye. Cheng had bought you a ring about a month ago to celebrate your one year anniversary and you had already lost it. You lifted you hand to show him your empty finger. 

“Ayyyy, you had me so worried.” Cheng said as he squinted to your hand. He kicked his legs to get the blankets off and then he walked over to the bathroom with you. He grabbed your hand giving it another look. “The ring was ugly anyways-”

“No it wasn’t!” You snatched you hand out of his grasp and gave him a small glare. “It was perfect and beautiful, I love it. You’re just trying to make me feel better.”

He sighed with a smile on his lips. He lifted his hand and placed it on your head to ruffle your hair. “Ay, fine. Stop crying about it and come to bed. We can look for it in the morning.”

You nodded and he grabbed you hand and led you back to the bed with him, still happy on how you loved your ring. Once you had fallen back to sleep, he would wake up and search for your ring so you would’t be worried about it in the morning.

Justin

Justin would notice your ring missing one day but he didn’t question it,assuming that you had just decided to not wear it. But when he saw it happen when you guys were on a date he did ask about it. “Babe, where is your ring?”

You gulped slightly and hid away your finger as if he hadn’t seen it missing already. “Um..you can’t get mad okay…?”

He nodded waiting for you to say what he was thinking. He had always thought you hated it. He waited for the words to leave you mouth but it didn’t happen. 

“I lost it…”

“What?” Justin questioned, sounding a bit harsh which caught some attention from the people around you. You sighed trying to think of a way to explain to him how it had happened. 

“I was swimming and I took it off and I am absolutely sure that I had placed it in my bag but I can’t find it…” You told him. He sighed with anger in his tone which made you surprise. 

“Are you sure you didn’t do it on purpose? I know you hated it…” Justin said to you with his eyes narrowed on your face trying to read your reactions. 

“Are you kidding me? That was my favorite ring! Not because it was expensive, which is what I knew what you were going to say.” You snapped which made Justin shocked. You were never one to get angry over things which made his assumptions absolutely wrong. 

“I’m sorry.” He murmured which made you nod. You said it back to him as well. “You really did like it?”

“Of course, you gave it to me.”

A smile appeared on his face as he grabbed your hand and ran his thumb over your empty finger. “I can always get you another one..” He whispered but you didn’t catch it which made him smile even harder

Lin Yanjun

Yanjun walked into your shared apartment with pure shock as he watched you throw the couch pillow across the room. He placed his keys on the shelf and shrugged off his coat as he asked what was wrong. 

“Oh, babe…You’re home…” You sighed trying to catch your breath as the pillow was rather heavy. Curse Yanjun for having expensive taste. Especially for jewelry which isn’t a problem except for now. You had lost your ring he gave you years ago. It wasn’t the first time it happened  but this is the first time that you hadn’t been able to find it within a day of losing it. 

“You don’t sound to excited about that,” Yanjun laughed as he raised an eyebrow trying to take a gander at what was happening in his apartment. He had no clue but he could tell it was something important to you. “Did you loose something or…?”

“Uh…I didn’t want to tell you but I lost my ring…” You murmured in shame as you felt horrible. You loved your ring which is why your looking in every nook and cranny for it but your search was getting you no where. 

“The very expensive promise ring? Put-a-huge-dent-in-my-pocket ring?” He asked with a smile but when he saw the color drain off of your face, he could tell that you didn’t think it was as funny.  “Hey, I was joking. It’s not that big of a deal, I mean its like three years old anyways…”

“That doesn’t make it okay. I lost the first ring you ever gave me! I loved that ring almost as much as I love you…”You pout as you heard your boyfriend let out a chuckle making you roll your eyes. 

“Well let’s find your little ring!

Zhu Zhengting

Your ring was so beautiful to you which is why you couldn’t believe that you had lost it. You searched any and everywhere possible to find it.  Yet, you had no luck. You also had no choice but to confess to your boyfriend about the lost ring. This worried you more because he seemed more in love with it than your were, which is saying a lot. You bit your lip as you waited for you long-term boyfriend to open the door.  

The door revealed a smiling Ting which almost made all you worries fade in an instant but it soon broke your heart when you realized you had to break it to him about the ring. He let you in and placed a kiss on your cheek as you talked past him. “Zhengting…I have to confess something…”

“Are you cheating on me?” His smile fell and confusion grew largely on your face as you hadn’t meant for it too sound like that.

“No, no. Um….,” You mumbled as you diverted you eyes in order to find the courage to tell him. “Actually, I lost…I lost my ring…”

“Your ring? You lost it?” He asked as his eyes immediately went to your hand trying to see you naked finger. He sighed as he mind was trying to react to the news. “What happened? This was a very expensive ring..”

“I know… I have looked everywhere for it… I don’t know where it could be..” You told him as you lifted your hand to caress his face. “Babe, I’m so sorry.”

“Ah, it’s fine. Things like this happen all the time.” He told you not wanting to make a big deal about this because he knew that it wouldn’t help anything. He put a small smile on his lips as he pulled you into the kiss, it was just a ring after all. “Some things are found when you don’t search for them, so let’s forget it for now and enjoy our time together, yeah?”

Wang Ziyi

You woke up frantically and began tearing Ziyi’s room apart which made him also wake up in a frantic state. He drowsily asked you what was wrong with worry filling his voice as his mind went straight to the endless possibilities that could be happening. 

“My ring!” You yelled as you were throwing the laundry out of the basket in search for your ring. You always took it off before you went to bed because you didn’t want to ruin it but when you woke up it wasn’t  placed on your necklace chain like it usually is. 

Your answer made Ziyi sit up and try to understand what you were talking about. He caught on when he saw you scanning the ground closely. “You had it on lst night…”

“I know! I can’t find it…Im gonna cry…” You whined as you fell to the ground in a sad state. You loved your ring and it made you feel so incomplete without having it with you. Ziyi let out a small breath before walking over to you. He rubbed your back to help soothe you down from your emotions right now. 

“Babe, I can get you a new-”

“I don’t want a new one.” You cut him off. You turned and looked at him from you spot on the ground. “I want my ring. My precious ring which is supposed to be placed on my necklace and it isn’t…”

“We can find it but lets eat first. It will help our brains start up and make a better search for us.” he laughed which made you smile. You were pretty hungry since you skipped dinner last night to go help your friend with moving in. 

“Ah! What if-”

“Let’s eat first!” Ziyi cut you off with another laugh not wanting you to overthink anything or get your hopes up.

Xiao Gui

Xiao Gui was sitting in the studio as he worked. He was pleasantly surprised when he saw that you were calling him. He answered with a smile and a simple hello. “Hey, Gui. Do you think you could drop by after your session?”

“Yeah, no problem babe.” He said . You both said your goodbyes quickly. As time went on he was so curious as to what was the reason behind your call, why did you want him to come over? His mind was all over the place which made him end work a bit earlier than usual. He packed his things into a back of an taxi and went over to your place.

He entered your place with a simple call of your name but he realized he didn’t need to do that since you were already sitting on the couch waiting for him which made him a bit nervous. “Hey babe, what’s up?’

You twiddled with your fingers as you avoided eye contact with Xiao Gui until you built up the nerves to finally say it. “I’m so sorry Gui, I lost the ring you gave me.”

“The ring?” He asked as he thought back on the expensive ring he bought you a couple of months ago. “You lost it?”

You nodded shamefully feeling awful about it. You watched his face as he looked sad, just as you expected. You waited for him to say something, anything really. “Was it because it was too small?”

Xiao Gui had always been worried that the ring was more of his taste than yours but that wasn’t the case at all. You loved your ring and its chic allure. “No, no. I love my ring. It was just an accident. I have no idea where it is and I have looked everywhere for it but I just can’t find it anywhere. I’m sorry.”

Xiao Gui nodded feeling a bit relieved that it wasn’t the ring that made you want to get rid of it. “What me to help you look?”

“Yes! Would you?” You gushed feeling happy that you could get some help looking for such a small ring that could be hiding anywhere.

“Sure thing babe.” He smiled as he was glad that you genuinely love the ring he got you.

You Zhangjing

“Ay…” He let out waving off the statement you had just told him. “This is just a scam for me to get you a new one isn’t it?”

“What?” You asked as you looked through you laundry. “How could you possibly think that? I love my ring, you buffoon!”

“Hey! You’re the one who lost it! I mean yeah it was small but it was expensive you know!” He said as he searched the bed for the small band. Your ring was a band filled with yours and Zhangjing’s favorite jewels, which is what made it so special to you. You were growing axious not liking the outcome of your search. 

“Oh, baby I can always get you another-”

“Don’t finish that sentence Jing. You can’t disrespect my ring like that.” You cut him off which made him huff slightly. 

“I mean, it was ugly-” You threw a pillow at him to stop him from insulting your ring even further. “Hey! What was that for?!?!”

“Don’t call my ring ugly, that’s a representation of your undying love for me.” You told him with a matter-or-fact tone.

“You’re the one who lost it so that shows how much you really care about my undying love, huh?” He joked as he searched the jewelry boxes. Another pillow hit him in the back of his head and he turned to see you pouting. He let out a sigh. “I was joking, gosh! We’ll find the ring and then melt down into your hand so you can’t loose it again!”

“I’m not going to loose it again!” You defended as you went back to searching.

42. “For the hundredth time, I’m not your babysitter.”  

He was adorable, he really was. But at the same time, he could also be the most childish, annoying boy you had ever met. 

“Justin, you know you really should learn to clean up after yourself. This is literally the third time this week I have to pick up after your dirty dishes.” You groused as you scrubbed at the plates that you had to use later.

“Sorry!” he called. His head popped out from his bedroom as he hurriedly put on pants. “I need to run to dance or coach will kill me.”

You suppressed the annoyed eye roll. It was always about dance for him. It was his dream to make it big in the entertainment industry, and as much as you were skeptical about it, he had managed to sign with a company so that must be something. But now, his days were filled with practice and long nights, leaving most of the house maintenance to you.

“Honestly, we should have signed a roommate contract agreement.”

Justin walked out of his room, slung his backpack across his shoulders and leaned over to give you a kiss. “You’re the best. I’ll bring dinner home. Promise.”

“Gross.” But on the inside your heart rate was up. It was no secret among your friends that you liked your roommate but it would devastate you if he found out. It was only freshman year and the last thing you needed was to lose the main friend you had made. It would make the next four years really awkward.

You should have realized that boys didn’t really change between high school and college. What made you think that four months out of high school, they would be more mature? Justin was just as oblivious and just as irritating as all those other eighteen year olds you had graduated with. 

He had a competition in late October and you were stressed over midterms. Justin came home late every night and left the house a mess in his hurry to scarf down dinner and get his work done. He would leave his dirty dishes in the sink and piles of paper on the table.

Although you mostly studied in your room, it was still a headache whenever you had to come out and see the mess that he had made. The last straw came when you saw that he had used your favorite mug, leaving behind the dark coffee residue. All morning you had been looking forward to waking up to a warm cup of tea and this just poked right at your sore spots.

“Justin!” You slammed open his door. You knew he must be exhausted but you didn’t care. You had words to say.

He was up. He was on his computer, typing rapidly at an essay and he looked up. The dark circles were prominent and his room reeked slightly of stale sweat and deodorant. 

“For the hundredth time, I’m not your babysitter.”

He blinked. “I’m sorry?”

“You can’t keep leaving your dirty dishes everywhere! You can’t just not take care of this suite, because, hello, you’re half of the residents. I’m tired of cleaning up after you. I feel more like your babysitter or your wife or something.” 

Justin paused and set aside his laptop. He stood from his bed and came towards you. “Hey, I’m really sorry. I understand if you’re upset. If you like, my competition is this Friday. I promise after, Saturday and Sunday, you can go on a spa day or a day at the mall and I’ll pay all expenses, and I’ll stay home and clean okay? You’re right. It’s not fair.”

Your mouth dropped. You didn’t even know how to respond to this offer. “I-I don’t-”

He smiled a little and your heart squeezed when you saw how tired he looked. “No, you deserve it. You’ve kept me sane the last two months. This is the least I can do.” When he saw you still hesitating, he lifted his fist to his face and made a cute kitten gesture. “Let Justin treat you right this one time.”

Spilled Coffee - Chapter 13

“Everyone hide, I think they’re coming!,” Justin hushed while everyone hurried to a hiding spot.

Y/n crouched behind the kitchen counter next to Chengcheng and held her breath when she heard voices from right outside the door. Not soon after, the lock clicked and Cas and Yanjun entered the house.

Cas dropped her keys onto the shelf next to the door. “Where are my parents?,” she wondered while taking off her shoes, “and why is it so quiet? What is Justin up to this time?” 

When she turned on the lights in the living room, everyone jumped out of hiding, shouting “Surprise! Happy Birthday Cas!” which startled her enough to make her scream and instinctively grab Yanjun’s hand.

Everyone started to laugh at their friend’s reaction and Cia shouted “I can’t believe I got the chance to see something like this again,” earning a loud groan form Cas. 

“I don’t even know if I should be touched or really mad at you,” she said, pinching her nose bridge, “I just got scared to death for a moment okay?” 

“Uh huh, are you still scared then?,” Justin said, wiggling his eyebrows at his sister. 

“No?,” Cas responded cocking her head to the side. A wide grin appeared on the young boy’s face which confused her even more. Mockingly he asked, “Then why are you still holding his hand?” 

With a yelp she pulled her hand out of Yanjun’s and took a few steps away from the boy who was just grinning at her in amusement, “That’s something I could get used to,” he chuckled. Cas just stood there dumbfounded, trying to hide her blushing cheeks with her hands. 

“Now,” Justin said while pulling both Cas and Zeren into the middle of their circle, “it’s time we officially congratulate our special guests.” 

“I’m living here you loser,” Cas snorted. “Okay,” he sighed, “Our special guest and my boring sister.” 

One after another wished their friends a happy birthday with a hug and a small present they prepared. 

Cas jumped and squealed in joy after unwrapping the twin’s gift, “You really got me an Exo Jersey? How did you even get that, I thought they were limited edition?” 

“I got my connections,” Cia winked and finger gunned. “Thank you guys so much,” she said and pulled them into a hug. 

“You better make sure to hug me for this one too,” her brother said, handing her a wrapped box. Cautiously the girl took the box, “I swear to god Justin if this is another prank I will kill you.” 

Holding up both hands he answered, “Wow, I feel betrayed. Is this really how you think of me?” Without even batting an eye she responded, “Yes,” and started to unpack the present carefully. “Chill, it’s from mom and dad too,” he said while rolling his eyes.  

“Oh my god Justin,” she whispered and hugged her brother tightly, “I can’t believe you managed to persuade them to buy this.” Patting her head he answered smugly, “Well, I couldn’t stand it anymore seeing you trying to work with this old-ass laptop.” 

“Even though I always say I hate you, I’m actually really glad to have you as my brother,” she mumbled into the hug. “Love you too sis.” 

“This is so beautiful!,” Cia sobbed, destroying the moment completely. Zeren patted her back with a sympathetic look, “It’s okay.” For a moment they looked each other in the eye just smiling until Justin groaned, “Ew! That’s too cheesy for me!,” in over exaggerated disgust. 

Cas and y/n shared a look, “Did we miss something?” Simultaneously the pair answered, “No?” making Justin raise his voice, “You two call a date nothing?” 

Cia shrieking, “Justin!” loudly, drowned out all the disbelieving “A date?” shouts of the group. “Friendship cancelled,” she said, boxing his shoulder, “I thought I could trust you!” 

“Who would ever think Justin could keep a secret,” Zhengting huffed, “I’d rather trust Cheng than Justin.” “Hey!” 

“Anyways, could you all take a moment and appreciate the god-like matchmaking I did here?,” Justin bragged, “Things I did? THAT!” 

Chengcheng just rolled his eyes and pushed Justin away to hand his best friend the gift he and Yanjun prepared together, “Move Bitch, it’s time for the best present.” 

Cas laughed at Justin’s dumbstruck expression while taking the packet Chengcheng was giving her. “Sorry, but nothing’s gonna be a better present than Justin’s expression just now,” the girl laughed. 

She let out an ugly squeal upon seeing the photo album her best friends had made for her. The cover was showing a picture of the three of them on their first day of school, which also marked the beginning of their friendship. 

“Look at how ugly Yanjun was back then,” Cas laughed hysterically at the sight. “Oh, so you think I’m handsome now?,” he teased, wiggling his eyebrows at her which immediately made her choke on her laughter. The group laughed at her reaction and Chengcheng patted her back until she stopped coughing. 

The album started by showing pictures of them from elementary school up to them now in university. At the end each of the boys left a cute and touching message, making her tear up and pull both of them into a tight hug. “That’s so sweet, thank you so much. I love it!,” she sniffed.

Letting go of the boys, she found that Zhengting was already offering her a tissue. With a grateful smile she took it and patted her eyes dry.

The friends continued to give out presents to both Cas and Zeren until only Cia was left to give Zeren her present. Justin nudged her with his shoulder, “It’s time.” Cia stared at him with eyes wide open in panic, “No no no no no, I’m not ready. I can’t do this!” 

While the others were already occupied greeting the new guests, Justin and Cia were still bickering around. With a roll of his eyes he grabbed her arm and dragged her upstairs, into his room and locked the door from the outside. 

“Justin! Justin! Are you fucking kidding me right now? Let! Me! Out!,” she shouted while hammering on the door. The younger boy laughed, “Not until you give Zeren your present.” 

A loud groan could be heard from inside the room. She turned around, just to find Zeren standing in the middle of the room who stared at her in confusion. “What are you doing here?,” she stammered. “Well, Justin told me to wait here for him,” he said while scratching his neck, “What’s up with that present he’s talking about?” 

Cia visibly stiffened at the question and her face turned bright red. Immediately Zeren had a worried expression on his face, “Are you okay?,” he asked while putting a hand on her shoulder, “You look like you’re going to faint.” 

“I’m okay. I guess,” she mumbled playing with the letter in her hands trying to avoid Zeren’s concerned gaze. She took a deep breath to calm herself a bit and looked him straight into the eyes. 

“You know what? Screw the letter. Because you’re just as dense as me, I’ll just make it crystal clear for you to understand. I like you. As in really, really liking you. Ever since I saw you at the cafe smiling at me with that most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen, I really wanted to get to know you and then the more I got to know you, the more I realised that you’re the sweetest person on this planet to me. Like, you care for everyone and listen to me and make me feel better, whenever I feel down. Like, to me you’re the cutest and purest person I know so.. I really fell for you and I had countless sleepless nights because of you and I can’t even express how happy I was when you asked me out for the date. I really just wanted to get that off my chest.” Cia covered her face with her hands in embarrassment at the end of her confession. 

Zeren blinked and just stared at the girl who just confessed her feelings for him.

 “I’m sorry if this was too mu-,” Zeren’s abrupt embrace turned the rest of Cia’s sentence into an ugly squeal. 

“I can’t believe this is actually happening. Is this a dream? You’re so cute, oh my god!,” he chuckled into her hair. 

Looking up at his face she breathed, “Does this mean you like m-”

Before she could finish her sentence she was interrupted by a soft pair of lips on hers. The kiss was soft, and incredibly gentle and before she even knew it was already over and Zeren looked at her with the biggest smile on his face, “Obviously! Do you even know how many shifts I changed with Chengcheng just so I’d be at the cafe when you were there? Why would I ask you out on a date if I didn’t like you? I like you so much, I was almost dying overthinking all of this!” 

Now it was Cia’s turn to lean in, tip-toeing a bit to reach his face, and kiss him, this time with all the love and longing that has built up over the last two months. She could feel his arms wrapping around her waist to pull her closer and smiled against his lips in response. 

As they pulled apart, just smiling at each other, Zeren put his forehead against Cia’s, caressing her face with his thumbs he gently asked, “Would you like to be my girlfriend?” 

She smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him in for a hug, “Of course dummy!” He breathed a relieved laugh, as he held her close to him, “Thank you,” he murmured into her ear, making her chuckle into his chest.

Zhangjing would relate to you feeling insecure about your appearance because he’s dealt with people criticizing his weight and trying to lose it himself. Even though he thinks there’s nothing wrong with you, he’d understand you feeling concerned and he’d do everything he could to make you feel comfortable and beautiful. He’d give you really good advice and make sure that he dealt with your insecurities with you rather than you being alone.

Yanjun, at first, would be really confused about why you don’t see how beautiful you are. He wouldn’t really know what to do or say, but he would make sure to tell you that he loved you no matter what you looked like and that he would do everything he could to convince you that there was nothing wrong with how you looked. From that day on, he would take extra care to shower you with compliments at every opportunity, never letting you forget you were beautiful even for a minute.

Ziyi would feel deeply hurt that you didn’t see how beautiful you were and probably blame himself a little bit, thinking that he hadn’t told you enough. It would really nag at him until the two of you sat down and he brought it up - this would lead to a super long conversation. Ziyi would want to know why you had the insecurities you did and what he could do to make it better. He would listen well, and when you were done, he would so sweetly and genuinely tell you that you were beautiful and had nothing to worry about that you would really believe him.

Zhengting would be so confused about you feeling insecure. Kind of like “but..why?” like a sad baby. He wouldn’t really know what to say and that would make him feel even sadder, but he would try his best. He would want to talk about it and try to understand why you were insecure and probably drown you in physical affection to try and comfort you. He would be careful after that and try to make you feel as beautiful as he knew you were. It would nag at him a lot.

Xukun would be so. sad. First of all, he would feel horrible as a boyfriend and that it was somehow his fault and he hadn’t told you that he loved you and you were beautiful often enough. Secondly, he would be so confused about why you thought those things about yourself. He would have no idea what to say or do to make you feel better and it would make him feel a hundred times more upset. He would never tell you he felt like that, and he wouldn’t really know how to bring it up so he would always remind himself to compliment you and make you feel loved.

Linkai would feel awful. When you first told him, he would reassure you kind of offhandedly, like “don’t be dumb, there’s nothing wrong with you.” Afterward, he would feel stupid for it because he was afraid it sounded like he didn’t care when he really did. He would think about it a lot afterward though he wouldn’t know how or really want to bring it up. If you ever mentioned something about your insecurity, this boy would jump down your throat like “that’s not even true, don’t say that, you’re beautiful,” so seriously and then get really flustered afterward.

Chengcheng would really empathize with you feeling insecure about your appearance because he’s dealt with similar things with his weight. When you first told him, he would take it really seriously and want to understand why you felt the way you did and make you feel better. After the serious part was over and done with, he would try to joke about it and make you laugh. Gives really good advice if you need it and makes sure you know you’re not alone and you’re still beautiful.

Linong would be so sad! I think at first he’d immediately think someone said something to you to make you feel that way because he wouldn’t understand why you would think that yourself. I feel like he would try to talk about it with you but he could only say so much and even if he did help, he’d feel sad and like he wasn’t doing enough. He would kind of jump whenever you or someone else mentioned the insecurity and he’d compliment you at every chance he got.

Justin would probably be ready to fight with his little fists when he first found out you were insecure about yourself because he’d think someone must have said something to you. When he realized that wasn’t the case, he would get really serious and do his best to try and help you and make you feel better. He’d try to joke about it and make you laugh, and later try to compliment you more and remind you that there’s nothing wrong with you all the time even though it made him really shy.
