Quick wrestling rant about the stupid side of the IWC who really don't understand what it means applying Hogan to a wrestler name.

Tonight on Insta, FB and X I have seen people referring to Rhea as Rhea Hogan. A few months ago it was Bianca Hogan. When I made the point that I am about to explain here, I got the same old response of "you're female, what would you know" or "you must be a new fan or casual fan" crap.

Ok, Hulk Hogan was known for point blank refusing to lose to other talents or drop the title to them. He was pandered to by Vince McMahon. When he did lose the title (for whatever reason), he quickly inserted himself in the title picture upon his return. He didn't earn title shots. Look at what he did to Yokozuna after Yoko beat Bret for the title. Think about how he refused to let Randy Savage (a skilled technical wrestler and high flyer) keep that belt because it was about Hogan. Or how he wanted to bury (pardon the use of the word here) the Undertaker because he was becoming popular.

Now let's look at Rhea. She is in the title picture - yes. She is relevant because she is working hard but she doesn't always have the title. I've seen her more without a title than with one and people are calling her Hogan because she's on TV a lot. She has lost more matches in her career than Hogan ever has. She has put over other talent and has done so time and time over. If you want to know why she is kept so relevant in the female division watch her interaction with fans in house shows of tours they do. Look at how she has fun with fans and talent alike. Even the Rock has praised her for the work she's done.

If she was a Hogan - she'd be an arrogant, self centred individual who cares only about her career and not the business she works in. She grew up a fan of the business and knows how important her role is as a female in the wrestling industry. If she was a Hogan she wouldn't have dropped the title to Iyo. She wouldn't have lost to Liv so many times.

Throwing around terms like a wrestler being a Hogan - well if you're going to do it, find a wrestler who acts like that and apply it correctly and learn your history before accusing others of knowing nothing because they are female...
