I found a random pic of two cute ferrets on google, and they had such amazing main character energy, I just had to start plotting a story for them.
Tumblr media
[ID: Two white/grey ferrets in knit sweaters. The one on the right has a pinkish orange sweater, the other has a pale blue sweater. They are very cute. /ID]
I’ve named the blue (left) one Havoc and the pink (right) one Kai. Havoc is she/her and panromantic/asexual. Kai is she/they and bisexual. They’re best friends, and they might eventually enter a queerplatonic relationship and become fluffmates.
Kai is the adventurous and witty chaos-maker. Havoc is bubbly and compassionate, and generally follows Kai in all their schemes. I haven’t actually thought of a premise yet, but I have a couple ideas. I’m open to hearing other suggestions though ;p

T-T sorry it’s so late, I had writer’s block, but here’s Chapter Eighteen of Luck Bee Witchy <3
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
CW: violence, threats
Excerpt:         "Hug me, friend." The God demands kindly. "You will not be harmed."         Quackity glances up, shock freezing him as the God smiles down. He hesitantly rises to obey the order. "I- I'm sorry I stopped visiting."         "I forgive you. My new friend has made things clear to me. I have always terrified you, and for that I am sorry, Quackity of Las Nevadas." The God embraces him with warm arms and wings. It becomes clear that their 'tunic' was fashioned from their folded wings.         Quackity doesn't know what to say, so he stays quiet and lets the God hug him. It's- it's almost comforting, despite the terror still clenching in his ribs and sharpening his breath.         "You may call me Slimecicle," The God names themself. "Do you like my gifts?" They shake their necklace with a pleased smirk. "My new friend offered this. I've never been given a gift before."

Luck Bee Witchy Chapter Eleven
Chapter Link
CW: slight manipulation
Excerpt:       Biting his thumb, Ranboo watches Niki spar with Techno. She fights like a woman possessed by furious spirits, all flurry and no flair, her blade as unforgiving as the thunder overhead. Techno agilely defends himself, rain dripping down his grinning face.        Niki slips in the mud, sprawling as she collapses. Techno halts his blade at her throat, panting. "Your stance could use work, you're too stiff." He sheathes his sword, then reaches out to help her up. Niki takes his hand with both of hers. She slams her boots in his gut and flips him.        "Heh?" Techno lands in the mud with a wheezing laugh. Ranboo's own laughter gets drowned out by a vicious crack of thunder as the sky lights up with pale fire.        "Too stiff, my ass," Niki retorts with a begrudging chuckle.          "Alright, that's enough for today," Philza calls from the tented tarps strung up beneath the trees. "Get in here before you all catch cold."

Our World Chapter Two
DW, DW, I’M STILL WORKING ON LUCK BEE WITCHY!! But I figured I could sporadically update this fic, too. Don’t expect more updates than around once or twice a month, probably ;p
CHAPTER TWO
CW: sparring, and maybe some slight derealization elements
Excerpt:        Tubbo perches atop Ranboo's desk. "I think we should commit arson."        "I think you should not do that," Ranboo replies placidly, continuing to work. He's literally just playing a silly block game, though, not much actual work getting done.        Tubbo spots Technoblade filming them, and waves cheerfully. "Hey, Techno, wanna commit arson with us?"        "Goshdarnit, Tubbo, you can't just-"       "I'm down," Technoblade replies, and Ranboo slams his head into his desk with a pained groan.        Tubbo smirks. "Commit arson with me, boss man, or I'll fucking divorce you."      "No, you won't."

So. Here we are again. It's always such a pleasure. Remember when I tried to write this twice?
Anyway, Luck Bee Witchy chapter 21 has been freshly rewritten ;p Enjoy Chapter Twenty-One
CW: suicidal ideation, derealization, dream-violence, this is kinda a heavy chapter, but there's no actual death this time.
No excerpt this time, sorry.

Luck Bee Witchy Chapter Seven
Chapter Seven
CW: violence, fire, referenced deaths
AN: I’m so tired T-T I’m not happy with the last scene, but I might change it later, whatever
Excerpt:       The clomping of three horses cracks through the underbrush. Dream sits up, alert. Michael giggles and climbs onto his back as he stands up.       Jack's voice filters through the warm forest air. Relief relaxes Dream's shoulders, and Michael nearly tumbles off.       "We got a hostage!" Jack crows, "His name's Prince Foolish, and he kinda fits it!"        "Cool, cool, cool," Ranboo grumbles in that sarcastic tone of voice he uses when something is distinctly uncool. "We're just pissing off royalty right and left, aren't we."        "I'd prefer to kill him, but Jack wants the ransom," Niki replies, her usually warm voice sounding rather chilly.        "Oh, great, death. Even better."        Dream sighs, only slightly amused by his apprentice, and sits down again, making sure to move Michael onto his lap before he leans back against the tree. He's so tired.

Yet Another Dream SMP Superhero/BNHA-fusion AU That Nobody Asked For But I Wrote Anyway
DRAGONHEARTED ≤- (LINK)
CW: BITE model cult tactics, potential death, violence, Quirk/Power abuse, Quirk/Power discrimination
Summary: When George calls on Dream’s hero agency for help, Dream doesn’t know what he’ll find upon investigating. A cult built up around the Prophet of Light is definitely not what he expects, though. When Dream’s quirkless brother Ranboo and his chaotic friends sneak along and gets caught up in the mess, Dream must put all his detective skills to work and shine a light on the corruption of Prophet Hannahxxrose before she can leech the life from her victims.
Bench Trio-centric, but also features: Hannahxxrose and Awesamdude as a badass villain duo; quirkless Technoblade teaching Ranboo his tricks; and protective big brother Dream.

Potential AU Ideas
I’ve got a few different AUs for Dream SMP I’ve been skipping around between. All AUs are SFW and involve the characters of Dream SMP, not the CCs. Content warnings will be included with each synopsis.
Death Parade AU:  CW: violence, death, religious themes Premise: Ranboo remembers dying when he’s sent to Judgement, but not much else. Technoblade, one of the Judges, mentors Ranboo in training to become a new Judge. Dream, the God of this world, has other plans.
Star Trek AU: CW: violence Premise: Technoblade (Klingon) is the strategist of an anarchist pirate ship, Steve. The crew consists of: Philza (Hirogen-Trill), the primary warrior and respected elder of the team; Wilbur (Human), the helmsman and musician; TommyInnit (Betazoid), the big man in charge of food and other resources; and Tubbo, the ship’s chaotic doctor and engineer. Philza kidnaps Ranboo (Kzinti Cyborg) from a secret Federation lab, and the bounty on the Steve triples. Quackity (Human), leader of a team of bounty hunters, tries to hunt the pirates down. The Eggpire folks are the Borg.
ATLA AU: ;p Potentially Coming Soon
“Horror” AU:  CW: religious themes, death, violence, eldritch beings Premise: In a town of post-apocalyptic survivors, Quackity has been chosen along with five others as a sacrifice to the three Gods keeping the town safe, and trapped. But the sacrifice entails more than death. The six are given five days to try to survive their fate. Each night, one of them will die. The last survivor will be cast out of the town. The fellow sacrifices-- Karl, Dream, Badboyhalo, Sapnap, and George-- all want the same thing Quackity does: to survive.
NIGHTMARISH (Twine CYOA):  CW: active danger, potential death, potential violence Premise: Extended SBI fall through an accidentally formed portal to the Nightmare Realm (based off 1.17′s Deep Dark biome), and they have to reactivate the portal to escape certain doom.
The Office / Greek Gods AU:  CW: intrusive thoughts/urges, hallucinations, sometimes violent Premise: Technoblade is hired as the cameraman for a documentary of a small branch of a niche business, but his new coworkers aren’t exactly human, as he comes to find out. Comedy entwines with mystery as Technoblade determines to figure out what exactly keeps these ancient beings trapped in this dead-end job. (In progress (link)) (WIP involves schizo-spectrum!Technoblade. I myself am schizophrenic. I don’t recommend neurotypicals / non-psychotics trying to write hallucinations / voices because y’all usually mess it up. At least do some research beforehand, my dudes. I’m always open to explain stuff if you’d like to ask me.)
OTHER AUs (not fleshed out): Aphorism (manga) / Superhero AU (Bench Trio centric) Noir / Crime drama (Niki + Jack centric) DnD / Dungeon Meshi AU (unknown) Regency / Fantasy AU (Eret + Foolish centric)
Feel free to adopt any AU ideas and twist them around to make them your own, no credit needed unless you’re sticking close to the original premise. I probably won’t end up finishing most of these ;p Also feel free to send asks about any of these if you’d like to learn more, I’m always down to ramble c:
Reblogs are welcome :3

Why Can’t You Trust Your Own Eyes: Part 1/?
You can not sleep now, there are monsters nearby, the server whispers.
Hannah jolts awake, the hilt of her sword leaping to her palm. The pale roses embedded in her skin sing with the promises of new life and colorful meadows. She grits her teeth and groans, flopping back into her bed. Listening to the babbling water, she stares up at the blackstone ceiling of her underground base.
Water splashes by the entrance, accompanied by a heavy grunt. Leaping to her feet, Hannah draws her sword and scowls at the two intruders. "What the hell're you doing here?"
The larger, scarier of the two steps in front of the other, holding up his paws appeasingly. "Chill, we didn't know this place was occupied. Just let us heal up, and we'll get outta your hair."
Hannah takes a cautious step towards him. He's some kind of pig hybrid: pink fur and ivory tusks and sturdy build; oddly familiar for some reason. But he's covered in blood, black and red and green mingling down his skin and matting in his mane. Several barbs from an Elder Guardian stick out from his arms and ribs. An arrow pokes from his shoulder. How is he still standing?
"It's not all mine," He chuffs at her confused and concerned look.
"Y-yeah, I can see that." Hannah lowers her sword. The other man peeks timidly out from behind his protector. His face is covered with a cracked mask. He's soaked, filthy, and leaking green blood from several wounds. It would be a mercy to kill them both, her roses hiss. Hannah's accustomed to dispensing mercy.
"Uhh, listen, we're not gonna steal any of your pots, but do you have any food? I can repay you later." The pig hybrid rests a gentle, cautious paw on the masked man's shoulder. "He's pretty badly hurt, and, ha, so am I, not gonna lie."
The memory clicks in her head. Technoblade. That's why he's familiar; he helped Quackity drive out the Eggpire from their own Banquet. Hannah's sword itches in her hand. She sheathes it. "Get deeper in," She orders, making up her mind.
They're on the run from someone, or something, and they're weak. Hannah could kill him, or she could turn him in to his hunters, and that would be one more enemy of the Eggpire down.
Technoblade nods and guides his companion down through her base. Hannah follows them, ready to draw her sword at any moment. But Technoblade limps, and the other leans on him, gasping in pain with every step. They've fought so hard just to get here. Something that is not the Egg unfurls in her heart, sharp like the thorns of a quince.
Hannah throws down two beds for them, deep in the torchlit blackstone halls. Technoblade sets his dying companion down on one, sets his respawn on the other, and leans against the wall. "Gonna kill me now?"
"I don't know what you mean," Hannah lies quickly.
Technoblade sighs, staring away at a flickering torch. "I'm not goin' after the Eggpire right now. We just need to heal."
"But you will," She notes coldly. "After you heal yourselves, then what?"
"We've kinda got more pressing matters on our hands, not gonna lie." Technoblade shrugs, trying to seem nonchalant, but Hannah can see the tension in his shoulders.
This isn't right, her roses hiss, and she should listen to them. She should contact Bad, contact someone. She could kill both of them herself right now; they're weak, they're at her mercy.
The blossoming pity in her heart strikes conflict.
"Welcome to my secret base, I guess," Hannah sighs, suppressing the sliver of pity as she offers a stack of bread. "Don't steal, don't grief, and don't mess with my stuff."
She'll keep an eye on them for now. Perhaps if she's kind to them, Technoblade will think twice before trying to interfere with the Eggpire again.
Technoblade takes the bread and offers some to his companion first. "Hey, it's not potatoes."
"Not hungry," He grumbles. Technoblade shrugs and leaves half the bread by their bed while he noms a few loaves.
Hannah leans against the opposite wall. "Who are you?"
Technoblade gives her a wary glance. "This is, uhh, my cousin, uh, Axel."
"I hate that name," Axel growls. "Techno, give me a cooler name."
"He hates his name," Technoblade says helpfully.
"Oh." Hannah doesn't quite know what to make of the obvious lie, but she lets it go.
Technoblade bobs his head to her. "Yeah, uh, thanks for your hospitality, by the way. Most people on this server prolly woulda killed us by now, not gonna lie."
"Just me," Axel mutters, "You're safe."
"Not if I'm in the line of fire protectin' you," Techno retorts casually back. Axel visibly relaxes, but still turns his head away with a quiet scoff.
Techno's wounds have started to close as the food takes effect. It's not as fast as a healing or regen pot, but Hannah's not wasting her precious resources on two refugees, much less an enemy of the Egg. Axel still hasn't eaten, but he's started contemplating a loaf of bread, at least. He turns away to lift his mask and nibble it. It takes one tiny bite before he loses his restraint and devours the bread hungrily. As his hunger's filled up, his wounds start to close up as well.
They're both still filthy, however, and getting the blood and mud all over the sheets and walls. With a huff, Hannah pushes herself away from the wall. "There's a hot spring farther down. Clean yourselves up once you're healed."
"K."
Hannah turns back and examines them. They're both unarmored, unarmed, and completely harmless. "You can sleep here for the night, too, I guess."
Just one night. That's all. Then they'll be on their way.
++++
AN: My AO3 is Rogue_Swordsmith. This is a lil idea I had, of Hannah taking in Techno and Dream after they escaped prison. Techno can’t contact the Syndicate atm, cause Sam is watching all communication channels, so they’re alone and on the run. ;p I might continue it, I might not, but if you feel inspired, you’re welcome to take this idea and run with it.

We meet again, my old arch-nemesis, ~SOCIAL ANXIETY~, but you have no power over me today, FOR I HAVE COME TO DECLARE... Luck Bee Witchy Chapter Fourteen
CHAPTER FOURTEEEEEN
CW: none apply (for this chapter specifically, but the entire work has violence and occasional minor character death)
Excerpt:        Sighing, Karl picks up the glass and swirls the amber liquid about. "This stuff could kill me," He laughs, sounding nervous. Dream used to be nervous about alchohol, too, until Sapnap convinced him it was his rightful due for hunting down the pesky faeries.        "It's just beer," Sapnap claps him on the shoulder. "You're old enough, right? It won't kill you, nevermind what your granny told you."        Karl gazes up at Sapnap, his gray eyes wide with naive trust. "Ha, okay, then." He sips the beer, then coughs. "It- it burns," He whines.        "Try more," Sapnap urges. "It's good, right? You'll get used to it."        "I don't think I want to get used to this," Karl complains, but he sips it again, grimacing.

My computer is dying L anyway here’s Luck Bee Witchy Chapter 21
CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE go read it pls
CW: death, derealization, violence
Excerpt:
Wrinkling his nose, Dream draws his sword from his cane. He can smell the former god's aura through the musky rain, like sulfur and rotten blood. With a tense exhale, he steps forward, probing the terrain ahead with his cane.
Ranboo's aura spikes juniper with alarm. His barefoot steps slosh through puddles. His hand rests lightly on Dream's shoulder. "Please, let them go," Is all he says, his voice tight with grief and shaking with anger, but not directed towards his older brother.
Dream smiles behind his mask. He brushes Ranboo's hand away. "Take care of your family. I need to finish this alone." For Ranboo's safety, for the safety of the world, the now-powerless god and his acolyte must die.
"You're such an idiot," Ranboo growls. "You are my family. You always were."

Finally. It’s here. Luck Bee Witchy, Chapter Nineteen.
CHAPTER NINETEEEEEEEN
CW: possessive behavior, threats of violence
Excerpt:
Techno leaps down a flight of stairs as they crumble beneath him. The ceiling starts to cave, dust trickling down as thunder rumbles from the gods' battle. Ranboo fumbles in his knapsack, snatching out a charm.
It's just wood. Just dead wood, carved into a little trinket with prayers and love and belief. But maybe that's enough. Maybe belief is all it ever took. Ranboo knows this small charm, carven in the form of a dove, will be all he needs.
He grips it tight, clings to Michael, holds onto Technoblade as the dire wolf races through the collapsing palace. Tommy leads the way, yipping as he dodges through falling rocks and groaning beams. Michael shrieks, hiding his face in Ranboo's shoulder as the walls shatter around them. Lanterns explode, scattering hungry fires across the floor.
There's no bubble of safety, no magical forcefield as they flee the crumbling cage, only trust. The debris never even comes close to hitting the fugitives. A dove speeds ahead, lighting the way with her wings.
Sunlight spears through the dust. Technoblade climbs over a heap of wreckage, and the main doors of the palace come into view, both torn from their hinges and scattering in pieces across the ground.

Why Can’t You Trust Your Own Eyes: Part 3/?
Part 1 | Part 4
Technoblade takes both regen pots from Hannah and breaks them over Dream. Some of the mist curls around his own wounds, but the smaller, broken man gets the brunt of the healing. Techno's kindness seems almost paradoxical with the brutal ease with which he fought her and her friends during the Banquet. If Bad hadn't dragged her away, he would've killed her, or she might've managed to kill him after a harrowing battle.
"Thanks," Techno chuffs warmly, eyes twinkling. "We appreciate this."
Hannah nods, a smile quirking at her lips. "You can't stay here long. Sam will want to search everywhere."
"Yep." Techno slurps his bowl of mushroom soup. "We've got a destination in mind."
"We do?" Dream perks up.
"Yep." Techno doesn't elaborate. "We'll pay you back for this, by the way."
Hannah hums, considering her options. There's one in particular that's looking more and more appealing. "How much?"
Technoblade shrugs, smiling. "You wanna negotiate right now?"
"I've got an offer for you," She replies. "You're pretty stacked, after all, I think you could afford my services."
"Alright, let's hear it."
Hannah smiles haughtily. "You first. What are you willing to pay me?"
Dream tugs quietly on Techno's cape, glaring warily at Hannah. Technoblade unhooks his cape and casually wraps Dream into a burrito before turning back to the bartering. "I've got several villagers. I can give you permanent trading access to them."
Villagers would be useful. She hasn't exactly captured any of her own yet, after all. "Hmm, tempting. And that would be for?"
"That would be for the hospitality you've given us," Techno says, crossing his arms.
"Hm, alright. I want to sweeten the deal for both of us, though." Hannah grins. Dream huddles in his cape-burrito and remains silent. Techno nods for her to continue.
So she spreads her arms and offers, "I'll go with you, and give you weapons, armor, and food for the journey. I'll protect you, both of you, and I won't betray you to any of your hunters."
"K, and what's the price?" Technoblade picks at his tusk, seeming bored, but Hannah can tell he's at least somewhat interested.
"Six netherite blocks."
"That's a bit steep for what you're offerin', not gonna lie," Techno laughs, then sobers. "But I'd say it's doable, perhaps, if we add on one more little perk. Help us with our goals, and it's a done deal."
"What kind of goals?" Hannah Rose tries to hide her intrigue.
"Oh, you know, mercenary stuff. Killing people, dismantling certain builds. Vengeance."
Hannah pulls a book and quill from her inventory. "Three. Three missions each, and you give me one netherite block per completed mission."
She nibbles on the feather quill, musing over words. When she finally glances up, Technoblade holds out his paw for it.
He reads through it, humming thoughtfully. "Alright, this works for me. Dream?" He gives the book to his companion.
Dream reads through it and confirms his acceptance with a silent, sullen nod. Technoblade takes it, signs it, and hands it back to Hannah.
After storing the book in an ender chest, Hannah sorts through her chests, looking for her spare sets of armor and weapons. Technoblade grabs a diamond sword, tutting at the lack of netherite.
Dream flinches back when Technoblade turns around. "Please, sir, I'm sorry!" He whimpers, curling deeper into his cape-burrito. Anger stabs Hannah's heart at the sheer terror in his quavering voice.
Techno immediately sheathes the sword and kneels before Dream's bed. He directs Dream's attention to the wall. "Hey, hey, look at this. Cool, right? The gold melts at a lower temperature and seeps into the blackstone."
Hannah watches, concerned and bemused, as Dream claws petulantly at the gilded blackstone. "Shiny," He mutters.
"Yeah, uh, wanna use a tool for that?" Techno jerks his head at Hannah.
Sighing, she tosses an iron pickaxe over. "Technoblade, a word, please?"
"Yeah?" Techno smiles innocently at her as he assists Dream in digging up the gilded blackstone on the wall of her not-so-secret-anymore base.
"How am I supposed to protect him if he's triggered by fucking swords?" She crosses her arms, trying to hide her concern.
Techno's eyes darken and he glances away. "Don't worry about it. Do what you need to, and I'll take care of him."
"Right," Hannah sighs. "Okay." She watches Dream as he cradles the gilded blackstone with an expression of innocent delight. He's been hurt far, far more horribly than any person deserves to be hurt.
"Okay, I think you should put it back, now," Techno gestures to the hole in the wall. Dream snarls and curls protectively around the block in his hands.
"It's fine. I have plenty," Hannah reassures. "Keep it."
"It's mine," Dream states, and that's that.
Techno shrugs, patting Dream's shoulder gently. "So, you got a plan?"
"I've got a nether portal," Hannah starts, but Techno shakes his head.
"I think we should avoid the Nether if at all possible."
"Alright. We've got two options for escaping without being noticed." Hannah takes a deep breath and lets it out in a huff. This is it. "Either we go underground, or we disguise you both. Sam will be watching all inter-aether communications, so even if you have other allies, you can't tell them where we are."
"Disguises?" Technoblade raises an eyebrow. "How exactly are you gonna disguise this?" He gestures to his sturdy piggy self.
Hannah smirks and reaches into her ender chest. "Don't fucking doubt my methods."
Several misses and two successes later, Hannah steps back from her handiwork. "Perfect." This'll be the easiest six netherite blocks she's ever earned.
Technoblade frowns behind his mask of makeup. "All this stuff on my face is irritatin'," He deadpans.
"Shut up, I'm committing this to memory." Hannah grins, then gestures for Dream to come out of hiding. "Come on, it's not that bad."
"I like the floofy robes," Techno says cheerfully, swirling his dress around. He's actually rather wiry beneath all the shaved-off fluff, and his mane has been braided into a fetching crown, complete with flowers. His old crown has been stored in the ender chest. "But I fail to see how this helps us. They'll recognize me, at least, I'm kinda the only pig person on this server."
Dream sulks behind Techno, draped in his cape and dressed up in a sparkly leotard and cargo pants. His broken mask has been replaced with a beaked masquerade mask. His green, fluffy feelers peek out from the sides. "I want my mask," He growls.
Hannah hands it over, and he slips the cracked ivory mask on underneath the more colorful one. "This won't fool Sam, yeah. But if we're lucky, anybody who encounters us will be confused, and we can strike first, leave no witnesses."
A splash sounds from the entrance. Hannah whirls around, drawing her sword and ignoring Dream's whimper.
Bad's voice echoes through the unsecret base. "Hannah? Sam sent me to check on you. Are you okay?"
Hannah takes a step forward. But Bad is her friend. He let her-- made her-- join the Eggpire. She can't- she can't betray the Eggpire like this. She can't kill him.
Besides, the Egg wouldn't let her.
