Well, they requested this premise with a few other characters too, and I will write those at some point, I am working on them, but it's been forever since I've posted anything on ao3, so I figured I'd just go ahead and post Senku's, which I finished a bit ago, just to like, prove I'm alive lol. Thanks for your patience by the way, everyone, my classes are over for the semester so I'm gonna try to write more often for the next few months til they start again! Enjoy!

Senku stared. Just... Stared. You weren't sure you'd ever seen him so speechless before.

"Um..." You laughed nervously. "Surprise...? I, um, wanted to tell you sooner, but I didn't know how, I didn't really think you'd believe me...."

He blinked quickly, and finally seemed to snap back to reality.

"You were right, I wouldn't have believed you, if you'd told me instead of showing me. But..." He approached and placed a hand on your tail. "This is real." He ran his hands over the scales, and you couldn't help but shudder a bit. "Either that, or you spent hours upon hours making it look and feel real as hell to trick me into looking stupid."

"It is real-!" You started to protest, but Senku laughed.

"I know. You wouldn't do that, you're much too sweet to pull that kind of prank." He chuckled again and you blushed, but he quickly shifted back to an intense look of curiosity and analysation, trying to put everything together in his head- you smiled. Senku really never did change.

"So. How does it work?" He asked. 

"What do you mean?"

"Well, a lot of things, but let's start with the fact that you usually have legs. Currently you have a fish tail. How do you do that?"

You shrugged. "It just happens naturally when I'm submerged in water."

"Hm." He ran a finger down the middle of your tail, almost like he was looking for a seam- there was none, of course. You twitched a little, not used to the sensation of someone touching the tail you've worked so hard to keep hidden, though it wasn't unpleasant. It kind of felt nice, actually, in the same way that someone running their fingers through your hair would. "Does it hurt?"

"No, not at all. It just wears off after a little while when I dry off."

"Interesting...." He knit his eyebrows together further, surely already trying to figure out exactly how that could possibly work. 

You almost didn't want to say it, but you had to- "Honestly, Senku, I think it's just magic."

Senku, to your surprise, laughed. "You know, they used to call lightning strikes and solar eclipses "magic", too. Once we understand how it happens, it stops being magic, and starts being science. Which is why you're coming back to the lab with me as soon as you get your legs back."

His enthusiasm was infectious. You couldn't help but smile a little bit too, although the idea of being analyzed and experimented on made you... A bit nervous. But it was Senku. You knew he'd never hurt you. "Just remember that I'm your partner, Senku, not a science experiment," you gently chided him anyways, just to keep him on-track.

"Of course , I couldn't forget that. But can you blame me for being curious?"

"No, of course. I wouldn't expect anything else from you." You smiled up at him, and he finally looked up from your tail to give you a reassuring smile back. It almost felt silly, now, that you'd put off telling him the truth about yourself for so long. You really shouldn't have expected anything else.

Good day kind fellow, I am here in regards of possibly requesting a reader that loves science and is almost like Senku Ishigami from Dr.Stone except she’s more open to relationships and love. She has an ability called ‘Eyes of Agony’ and when it’s activated, her eyes turn red and if she locks eyes with someone, they immediately begin writhing in pain and agony. She hates using it unless her boyfriend (of whomever you choose to write) bribes her with government-only materials for her experiments or quality time together

I would prefer Jouno, Ranpo, or Tecchou. I don’t need all three, but if you choose to do only one or two, I prefer Jouno or Tecchou because I’m on my hunting dogs brain rot rn.

How unfortunate. Why is it the one time your beloved boyfriend asks you to do something that is the ONE thing that you hate doing the most? The blank stare could have given anyone the chills, anyone except for your boyfriend, that is. Tetcho looked apologetic but unrelenting as he was waiting for your verbal response.

"Why should I? Don't you have Jouno or Teruko for that? Why would you have to bring me in for something those two can do?" It was apparent how unwilling you were to entertain the request, especially by crossing your arms. "Unfortunately, both of them wouldn't be available, and you're our only option. Normally, we would have waited for them, but I was asked to come to you because of how time-sensitive this is. I'm sorry." Knowing that this wasn't his fault, you huffed out in annoyance. "I would question if you were serious, but I know you are. This is such a pain. " Looking off to the side, it was hard for you to choose to allow through with Tetcho's proposition or to deny it. A soft mutter was heard between them, "Is there no way to just ask the other two?" The dark-haired man shook his head in denial. You were about to say something when the man piped up. "If you were to help, I'll work out something with the captain and stay home for a week with you." That was all it took to convince you to hop on board. Jumping into your boyfriend's arms, Tetcho got his answer. Unfortunately, you were in excruciating pain for the first few days that Tetcho was home. Thank god he was there to help out and take care of you.

Quiet Pain

Pairing: Ishigami Senku x F!Reader

Warnings: Unrequited love, lots of angst with fluff, reader is a professional artist, Gen ships it, Kohaku is bestie, reader never experienced love (in a romantic way), characters a bit ooc.

Author’s Note: I am SO sorry, but I suck at writing smart characters.

My poker face was obvious from the other side of the village. The commotion that everyone is doing outside just for the sake of ‘creating’ ramen in the stone age is amazing and rather annoying, I haven't been able to draw anything that weren't doodles for the past weeks, I've never had so much in my mind before and I am willing to give up at any second if it wasn't for the constant bickering that Senku and Kohaku did so I could continue. 

But there's nothing. How can my mind be so full, and yet nothing makes my hand move?

I let the pencil aside and stared at the large paper in front of me, all while letting out a deep sigh. They had the trouble to do all of these materials just for me to have a block when we least need it, I'm pathetic. My writer skills are decent, so for now I am re-writing an old story of love and tragedy, although, the bad thing about this is that I don't remember the name of the book. "(Y/N)? Shouldn't you be painting?" Kohaku asked as she stepped closer to me. I nodded slowly and let the pages of the book aside. "Yep, but it's impossible with so much noise. And my head is a mess at the moment, it's like all my thoughts are tangled." I turned to the blonde and found her worried expression to be appreciated on my behalf. 

"I came out here to see if air cleans my mind, but nothing in me wants to cooperate. What a pity." I crossed my arms and twitched an eye when even the slightest glance at the doodles made me angry. "Do you know why you are like this? It's not normal to find you so stressed." I stood and stretched as my eyes found Kohaku's. "I do know why I'm like this. I happen to be in denial." She froze when I said that, making me raise an eyebrow.

I am in denial of my feelings, and I ignore them daily since they came to be. I have never experienced something like this, I might have been 17 when all of this stone thing happened, but I was so centered on my studies and future I didn't have any time for love... That, and because no one was on my radar. However, Ishigami Senku happened, and although it's been a long time since I've met him, I began feeling fuzzy around him for a few weeks now. It's unrequited without even having to confess, as every single girl that flirts and tries to gain his attention gets heartbroken. I can see the shattered pieces of their hearts on the ground.

He even divorced Ruri at the minute of being married, who even does that?? To a beauty like her which is even worse!

"So, you finally admit it. You like Senku." I averted my eyes and broke my trance to shy away from Kohaku's grin. "Am I actually THAT obvious?!" I didn't mean to shout but it escaped me, making me and Kohaku panic a little. Well, nobody heard us so we relaxed. "Not that obvious, you know. But your stares are full of longing."

"I believe it's impossible for the others not to notice if my 'longing' is that annoying. I'm pretty sure Gen knows about it too, he's the mentalist after all." It would be bad if he didn't notice, but the fact that someone as sneaky as Gen knows that much about my feelings makes me want to cry rivers. I wish to be petrified again.

"Come on, (Y/N). Why don't you come and help us with the ramen? You need to relax, for real this time." I sighed and followed Kohaku back to the village, she helped me to bring back the materials to my hut and we spent the day being vigilant of the village not trying to eat the ramen, specially Ginro.

The space ramen was converted to cup noodles the next day, thanks to another machinery that they managed to build. Chrome was the first to try it simply because he was too impatient. To my surprise, Senku gave me the second cup of noodles, and I took it as I glared at Kohaku and Gen, both of them smirking from their positions. Not even 5 minutes later, the entire village was eating noodles.

"Not one millimeter of concern there. Taiju and Yuzuriha. Those two aren't the type to kick the bucket that easily." We heard a noise coming from a hut near us, many of the village people walked near to it to hear Lillian Weinberg. Senku's father created a glass record before dying, and everyone was enchanted by the woman's voice, while no one is looking, I turned around and walked back to the village after leaving the empty cup on a table. 

I glanced at Senku when he stared at the sky with a smile. His true passion is science, and it's not a bad thing, it's because of his dream that I admire him so much. "I don't want anyone to get hurt." We heard Ruri mutter, Senku and I turned to her immediately. "There's no avoiding this fight anymore, is there?"

"We're not going to try and kill anyone. The victory conditions for our Kingdom of Science are surprisingly simple: The capture of the miracle cave, to gather the components for revival fluid. If we can get in touch with my friends over there, with our cell phones, we might even be able to dismantle the Tsukasa Empire without bloodshed." Explained Senku as everyone listened. "Taiju and Yuzuriha have been infiltrating Tsukasa's army this whole time. For the little time I've spent with them, I know for a fact that we don't have to worry." I said, receiving a smile from Senku before looking away. 

I came to a halt in front of the village's bridge, staring into nothingness as I felt a pain in my chest I couldn't calm down. It wasn't enough to die, but a tear ran down my cheek, and then another, and another, and soon I couldn't stop them. I didn't sob, and I kept my empty expression as my hair danced with the wind. "I'm pathetic..." I muttered to myself.

"Why are you bringing yourself down when a pretty girl such as yourself should be smiling all the time??" I turned to find Gen walking towards me. I didn't bother to hide the fact that I was crying, it wouldn't matter anyway. He already knows by how he looked when Senku gave me the noodles. "This is so cliche... And yet, I can't help but feel hurt over something that hasn't happened... How am I not pathetic?"

"Mmm. You say you see Senku as a friend, yet your heart says otherwise. I wonder-- Would it be honest to tell you that mayyybeee you are pathetic." I elbowed him as I snickered, receiving a smirk from the mentalist. "So mean! You said it yourself!" I wiped my cheeks and sighed deeply before turning to Gen. "Nope, that won't do, let me clean that." I rolled my eyes and let him clean my cheeks with his overcoat. I decided against thanking him, knowing he wouldn't let this go even if I beg, I blinked and stared at Gen as he smirked at me, well, I thought he was smirking at me until I heard a cough. I froze on the spot and turned to find Senku, Kohaku and Chrome looking at us with widened eyes.

I swear to all the gods in existence I am going to petrify myself. Gen did this is ON PURPOSE!

"(Y-Y/N), do you mind coming with me to find more wood. NOW." Gee, how can I say no to Kohaku when she looks like a damned gorilla when she's angry? The look of shock was quick to vanish from Senku's expression, I'm willing to call it my imagination playing tricks on me. Maybe he dislikes the thought of people doing PDA?

He's not dumb, I'm sure he already noticed that I avoid him, after all, we used to find each other back at his hut and later the observatory to speak about science and history. It's sad really, the only way of forgetting this feeling is to prevent myself from looking at Senku, at least for now. I just need time.

That afternoon I came back from the woods with a limping leg and an annoying Kohaku, and once again I was closed in my hut waiting for the blonde to bring bandages. Nothing too severe, in 2 days I'll be fine, but it will be the longest 2 days of my life. I am staring at my doodles with a pain in my chest.

I remember my father telling me to draw what I most desired, what I'm feeling at the moment, or my everyday sights from when I used to hang out with friends and family. I forced myself to stand and grabbed the pencil, I sat in front of a pile of large papers and began drawing the faces of my family, we were all reunited in Christmas of that year, then I drew the beauty of the world that disappeared a long time, the pain that I was suffering over keeping quiet, and an illustration of the village's chief, Senku. 

I smiled sadly. Well... I can easily say that we need to save the faces of our heroes, just like many kings and emperors did in their day. In the end, I am overjoyed that I finally got to draw something.

"Huh, I don't look half bad." I jumped on my seat and turned to look at Senku with a surprised face. "How-- How long have you been here?"

"Enough to know that you're feeling dramatic." I followed his sight of vision and slapped myself mentally. The drawing of my pain is put so exclusively that that would be the first drawing everyone sees when walking in. "I'm sorry, Senku. I would be redrawing every famous painting in history if it wasn't for my..." I stopped, and Senku raised his eyebrow when I pursed my lips. "Sorry." I muttered. "I don't want to bore you with this. Let's just say I'm going through a small depression at the moment... Did you come here for something? Seeing you so silent worries me." I say to Senku, who was focused on the painting of him. 

"Why did you draw me?" He asked, catching me off guard.

This is a losing game. There's no way I'm going to act more than I am now.

I suddenly felt nervous. "A-And why not? You're the village's chief and the one that'll bring technology back, besides, I'm pretty sure the girls will most likely stare at it and leave you alone with your science. Isn't it the best idea I've gotten yet?" We chuckled, and I knew that he agreed with me. I felt my cheeks getting warmer, a stupid smile decorating my face.

Yeah, it was most definitely a good idea to distract people from Senku.

Senku didn't say anything and found him staring at my leg. I opened my mouth to speak, but Kohaku stepped in and looked at me and then at Senku. "Oh, did I interrupt something?" She asked, a cute smile appearing on her face. She turned to the drawing in front of the door and yelled a little before I calmed her down. Senku was still here, his silence bringing a sudden discomfort in the hut, Kohaku's grin didn't disappear as she bandaged my leg and put ice on it. I sighed at the comfort of my muscle relaxing. "You said you wanted me to give something to the mentalist?" I nodded at Kohaku and gave her a box with professional crayons that Chrome and Senku had given me. "Do tell him to use them lightly, I'm not in a mood to lose my things." The blonde nodded and winked before walking out.

I don't know what to say next, Senku worries for his friends but he's horrible with emotions too. He isn't leaving, why isn't he leaving? Isn't it obvious that the conversation is over? Why is he still here?

"You're not pathetic." I widened my eyes and stared at the drawing of him on the table. He... He heard the conversation...?

My heart beat faster in my chest, and I let go of the pencil as tears formed rapidly, I clenched my fists and closed my eyes, sucking back down my emotions. The silence was awkward. He is Senku Ishigami, he would've known about it sooner or later, I knew I should have closed myself in here without accepting visitors. I'm so pathetic. "I don't need this..." I started, avoiding his eyes. "I... I-I know what you think about the whole love and affection crap. I've seen and heard it multiple times and I respect you no matter what... So please, leave. We have too many things to work on..." With no word, I heard him walk out. 

Finally, I was alone to cry with an empty expression. Minutes went by quickly and I put away his drawing and cleaned the hut before stepping out, it was already night and no one is around. 

The night sky is beautiful.

I almost stumbled over a case left in front of my shed, and I took it to inspect it closely before opening it. I averted my eyes and gasped slightly, taking a bottle that contained a corrosive, colorless liquid. Is this...

"Propenoic acid, an organic compound and the simplest unsaturated carboxylic acid. An acrylic that can be applied in thin layers or washes to create effects that resemble watercolors." I watched Senku a few feet away from me, a smile on his lips. "You... Got me acrylic acid...?" I asked, still not over the fact that I treated him like trash and he just decides to give me a gift. Wait, is this really a gift? I was about to ask why but I pursed my lips, it was only to revive the full history of Arts. "Thank you... Senku..." I muttered.

"What was that, (Y/N)?" Senku walked closer to me and rested his hand on his hips. "I... I said thank you." I said, staring at each other for a few moments until I glanced away. He had his smug smirk. "With this much, I believe you also want me to store it because of the consequences it can give humans."

"Ten billion points for you! Swallowing can result in severe gastrointestinal irritation or ulceration and burns of the mouth and throat. If everything goes south, we can use it to burn them, this is exhilarating!" His expressions sometimes scare the soul out of me. There's also a pair of gloves in the case, making me smile involuntarily. "I'm sorry, for everything I said... In the end, I was afraid I ruined our friendship..." I apologized. 

Senku pointed to the case. "There's a letter inside." I raised an eyebrow and gazed at it to grab the paper. My eyes couldn't believe what I read, and when I looked back at Senku, he was walking away with his ears red and an arm raised, as to say goodnight.

My cheeks burned, and my heart didn’t stop pounding out of happiness.

Senku’s real family

Mystery about Senku’s family is one of the most interesting parts in whole Dr. Stone story. Even if we got some answers we still get new informations which leads us to few unanswered questions. 

We know Byakuya Ishigami isn’t Senku’s actual father related by blood. Byakuya is Senku’s adoptive father. Senku was officially adopted by Byakuya because Senku’s last name got changed into Ishigami.

Of course Senku is aware of being adopted son. When we find out Senku is ,,son” of founder of Ishigami Village everyone reading and village people started to question if they are related to Senku. Funny thing how Kohaku was the one to bring that up covering her blushy face. At this point Kohaku probably thought about being into Senku in romantic way and thought about Senku being her long lost brother scared her and embarrassed. Senku corrected whole situation by telling that he isn’t actually related to Byakuya by blood. But here readers got another question ,,Did Senku being adopted was smooth dodge just to let Senku be with Kohaku by the end with no incest comments about it?”. Well it’s possible that author wanted to avoid mean comments about this as one of the options. But it doesn’t have to be true reason. There are pretty much two possible reasons why if it was intentional: 1. Just to create representation of bond between adoptive parent and child in form of manga and maybe show how adoption can be good thing that brings happiness to adult person and how it gives chance to abandoned child. 2. Real parents of Senku will show up in story in the future or they are somehow involved in world turning into stone.

Some time later on mystery about Senku’s family got more interesting. We thought information about Senku being not related by blood to Byakuya was last one but we were wrong. We find out that Byakuya told him that Senku was his good friend’s kid. ,,Was?” Does this mean Senku’s real parents are dead? Or is he referring to no need of calling this person his parent anymore? Or Byakuya was covering information about Senku’s parents being horrible people who left him by just making it easier by creating fake image of good people who passed away or just couldn’t take care of him even if they wanted. 

Information about being kid of Byakuya’s good friend seems satisfying enough for Senku. He doesn’t feel the need to dig deeper into his family origins which is kinda bizarre because Senku likes to know every detail. The reason is probably love and trust in Byakuya. He gave him some sort of answer and Senku just took it as truth with no need to find proofs. Senku consider himself as Byakuya’s son and that’s the most important for him. He calls him ,,father” or ,,old man” and because of being adopted Byakuya didn’t mind Senku calling him by his name. Byakuya also calls Senku his son even if they aren’t related by blood.

We saw very similar situation with Senku eating ramen with his fathers. In first photo we see Byakuya with older Senku but on second photo we see maybe few years old Senku with his real father. They probably had very similar hair. We can see that from this unique hair tip falling on his face. What’s interesting is that we don’t see full face. That could mean Senku doesn’t remember his real father’s face anymore. It’s normal for kids to forget almost everything about their first few years or maybe remember few stuff like behind fog. But what’s interesting is that Senku ate ramen with his real father. Good feeling about doing certain things can stay with people because Senku loves ramen so much it somehow connects him with his father. Senku was actually blushing while looking at his father. That could mean he loved his real father at some point at least like child could love. But what’s interesting is how Byakuya enjoy ramen with Senku. That brings back question if Byakuya and Senku’s father really were friends and hang out together by eating ramen for example. Then something tragic could happened to Senku’s parents like accident and that’s why Byakuya took care of Senku. It’s also possible that Senku’s real parents became dangerous and Senku was taken away from them. Kids can forget traumatic experience from the past as  defence mechanism when they want to keep stable mind.

It’s still crazy to think about Byakuya officially getting together with Lillian Weinberg. She was very popular singer in modern time. What is even more crazy to think about is the fact that Lillian Weinberg became Senku’s step mother. It’s sweet how we know she also believed Senku can restore advanced humanity. That’s some adoptive parents goals to get teacher/astronaut father and famous singer/astronaut mother :D

Byakuya showed Lillian to Senku before. Hahaha also Shamil like this cool uncle for Senku he could nerd together with XD What warms my heart is Senku’s reaction to this photo. Of course it could mean that Senku is happy that his father is having good time BUT this also looks like Senku’s smug face like ,,Wow go for it dad. You look nice together. You have my approval.”

There is also maybe not that important question but still ,,How many step siblings Senku had?”. We will probably never find out how many children Byakuya had with Lillian but from this panel I think boy which is kicking ball is Senku’s step brother. He has eyes after Lillian and hair probably after Byakuya. It’s also possible the youngest one from here is also Byakuya’s child or it’s Shamil’s son. We can’t even tell if that’s all the kids. They probably had more than four. Well still it’s sad how Senku never got to see his step siblings or spend time with his step mom.

Senku’s existence after some time was kept secret only from priestess to priestess but Byakuya wanted to celebrate his son’s birthday even if they were apart from each other so he created ,,Stone Day” or ,,Ishiday” as tradition for even future generation to still celebrate Senku’s birthday even if they won’t know what is actuall reason for this tradition and have fun in this particular day every year :D Senku was so special to Byakuya he created official tradition for him ;D I can see Ishiday as new holiday celebrated by people in whole world if Senku will revive them.

Not gonna lie I still wonder who were or are Senku’s real parents and if he wasn’t separated from them because of accident and they just abandoned him then I have one question ,,How could they abandon probably the cutest child in the world?!”. Just look at him! I never saw more adorable baby! I swear I will snap if they were hurting Senku in the past or if they show up in the future when Senku will save humanity and say trash like ,,That’s our son! Our son saved all humans! We are his parents! Look how far our child came! We brought this savior to this world. Without us humanity would be doomed!”. Or they will be ultimate trash if they are involved in humanity turning into stone and will rage at Senku for trying to restore humanity. There are no official papers anymore so only reinvented DNA test could show if someone is Senku’s parent, Or we will see man with green hair and we will just know he has to be Senku’s father. Still even if Senku loved his parents for some reason or just as innocent child he changed his mind and doesn’t care about them anymore and only consider Byakuya as his real family. I still get a feeling that’s not last information we will get about Senku’s family related to him by blood because if they were also scientists they could be involved in petrification plan.

The Future Leaves Nothing Behind [Part Three] Truth [Ishigami Senku]

A/n: this is the final chapter of this story, but there will be shorts/scenarios that take place following this short. I also take requests for certain scenarios from the manga involving the OC and Senku, so please feel free to ask if you want to. I have a few in mind.

Welcome home Senku. Heat bloomed across her pale skin. By no means could she ever say this to him. Even thinking about it sped up her heart rate. It was a miracle he never commented on it; surely, he could hear it. She knew that she could. Like an 808 drum, it kicked every time he was near.

That being the case, the inconsolable teen forced herself to keep away from him unless he needed help with something. Senku never brought up the strange and embarrassing conversation they had shared a few days back. She pretended not to care, but her heart felt empty. At this point, a simple rejection would suffice; Nozomi was just too much of a coward to say anything.

She sighed and tossed aside the flimsy cloth she was working with. It was late, despite her understanding of the time. The moon was full and small stars littered the clear sky. Senku wasn’t home yet, but she knew he wasn’t far; most likely in the lab. What was she doing? Her mind had been so consumed by the thought of him that her task had taken a hit; the clothes that she was supposed to be preparing for Taiju were in a terrible state. The stitches were too loose; without proper tools, she’d have to redo the entire outfit.

I really am terrible at this. Yuzuriha could do it so much better.

If only she were around. She and Taiju were still encased in stone, but Senku assured her that soon Taiju would unite with them. If only he were here now. She needed a rest from her wandering thoughts.

Nozomi sighed in annoyance and decided that if she was going to finish her work before turning in for the night, she needed a knife for the loose seams. Senku knew where one was. She stood up, extending her tired legs, and eased out of the treehouse.

It was quiet as she came down from the wooden steps and ambled towards the temporary lab. Her heart pounded in her chest, but she pressed on and stood in the entranceway, locating Senku. He was, as expected hard at work on something.

“Senku…sorry to bother you, but do you maybe have a knife that I can borrow?”

He glanced over his shoulder and grinned. “It’s in the bag attached to my hip. I’d get it for you, but––"

Lifting up his arms, Nozomi noticed cloth around his thin fingers. She squeaked in alarm.

“How did you manage to do that to yourself?”

Senku hummed. “Trial and error.”

Nozomi sighed; he was a pain sometimes. “Be careful. I shouldn’t have to keep telling you this. What am I to do if you cut all your fingers off being reckless?”

“Lend me yours,” he answered easily.

She quickly shut him down. “Not going to happen. You can’t cook and without my skills, we’d both starve.”

“I won’t argue with that,” he agreed, returning back to work.

His cooking was terrible, but fortunately edible. Nozomi smiled and moved to his side, taking the knife from the bag. She saw the condition of his fingers and snorted.    

“That’s so like you,” she mentioned. “As long as you can still use that big brain of yours, it wouldn’t matter if you lost all your fingers.”

Senku grinned. “Losing my fingers would be a heavy price to pay, but I’ll never give up science.”

“I’ve always loved that about you; always so devoted.”

She felt her face immediately heat up. Honestly, she couldn’t believe those words just left her mouth.

Senku sat down his tools and rubbed the back of his neck. “You love me; that’s what you’ve been keeping from me. The last thing I remember you saying to me before we were encased in stone was that you were in love with me, and this entire time you’ve been acting like it never happened.”

“I guess I always knew that you heard me…but none of that matters now that we’ve been encased in stone for 3,700 years. I…wanted to ask you for forgiveness; I never meant to fall so hard for someone I considered my friend,” Nozomi admitted quietly.

He sighed. “Listen––"

She quickly interrupted him, leaning in to place a kiss on his cheek. It was brief; sweet even, but enough to keep him quiet for a moment while she finished.

“It doesn’t matter to me if you don’t feel the same,” she explained with a gentle smile. “I had time to think about it; your dream means more to me than anything, and I will follow you anywhere to help you reach it.”

Nozomi felt much better. She was a bit heartbroken, but the weight on her shoulders had been lifted. Wishing Senku a quiet goodnight, she set the knife on the table and decided to turn in. Taiju wasn’t due for another few nights, so she had plenty of time to prepare his clothes in the morning. She exited the lab and returned to the tree fort where she curled up in her makeshift sleeping bag and shut her tired eyes.

Senku coming into the room moments later alerted her. It wasn’t until he leaned down beside her did, she glance up at him.

“I want to clear this up before you fall asleep,” he mentioned.

Nozomi nodded and waited for him to continue.

“I don’t hold it against you for liking me, but I can’t start something with you…not with the world like this. It’s going to take my entire focus to restore it and a relationship will only get in the way,” he explained.

She understood. Sitting up, Nozomi reached forward and placed her hand on top of his. “Am I free to continue pursuing you then?  

Senku picked his ear. “I can’t stop you, but restoring the world from scratch will take a long time; waiting that long may change your mind.”

I waited for 3,700 years to see you again, so I doubt a century or more will change my mind, she opted to say. Nozomi agreed with a nod.

“Can I…kiss you?”

Had he ever kissed someone before? He was ten billion percent sure the answer was no; he hadn’t even thought about such a thing. Senku wasn’t sure he’d even like it.

But then again, if he regarded it like another one of his experiments – trial, and error – he might like it.

“Just once.”

Nozomi widened her eyes in shock. He actually said yes. She smiled and brought her hand up his arm.

“Close your eyes.”

He hesitantly listened and felt her lean closer until she was kissing him. Her lips were warm and strangely soft. Senku wasn’t sure how to explain it, but as she pulled away, she leaned back in and brought her tongue across his bottom lip, then kissed him again. The hairs on his arms stood up and a warm sensation shook his body. Was he getting aroused from this?

Nozomi pulled away before he could explore the feeling more and gently smiled at him. Her cheeks were dusted in red.

“Thank you, Senku.”

He was for once at a loss for words. Agreeing with a nod, he watched her yawn and ease back onto the floor where she had been resting when he came in.

“We should turn in for the night. There’s much to do,” she mentioned.

She was right, but as Senku lay down he wondered how far she would have gone had he let her. Had he even kissed back? His head was overflowing with new thoughts. As he watched her fall into a deep sleep he wondered if she liked it as much as he did.

A grin pulled at his lips. Of course, she did.

Sure!! Disclaimer, I think all of them would be ok with it.. just some more than other lol. (Since you only asked for a rank, I didn’t write too much. But if you want longer headcanons or scenario feel free to send it in again!)

Taiju Oki

This guy is amazing!!! Pads? He got it. Chocolate? He has it. Ice cream? Lots of it. Love and cuddles! He’ll provide it!! 

He’s big about respecting s/o’s body and taking care of them and making sure they’re comfortable. Even though he’s not really exactly sure about why s/o has their period and the stages and stuff, he still loves them a lot!!

 He’ll carry all of the bags and groceries (I mean he always does) and make sure s/o is not stressed. He is 100% ok with it!!

Tsukasa Shishio

Human teddy bear here. Ever wanted a man who truly cared and knew everything about what you went through, even more that yourself? Well, that’s Tsukasa!

He’s the kinda guy who knows everything about s/o’s period, from why it happens and how low it should last, to the many stages of it. He keeps track of s/o’s moods and marks the number of days it lasts. He remembers when it’s going to begin so he stocks up on foods s/o likes and other products. Like damn.

Lots! Of! Love!! Lets s/o get a lot of rest so they aren’t stressed out. He knows how to deal with their moods and everything.

Ukyo

Ukyo is a soft and gentle guy, and he’s very accepting of s/o’s natural body processes. Another gentleman, he’ll make sure that s/o is not doing any work and is relaxed. 

When they’re cramping and stuff, probably takes them up in a tree for fresh air. CUDDLES ENSUES.

Ahem, if anyone tries to make his s/o do anything extraneous, he’ll make sure they don’t have to lift a finger. 

More protective. S/o is a bit weaker and crankier so he doesn’t let much people near them. He just really loves them!!

Gen Asagiri

Gen is another one who knows nothing about periods, only that they are painful and that s/o is bleeding. And lowkey, Gen is a sweetie!! So he hates seeing s/o in pain.

Probably does a Google search to get more information lmao. And like, then he starts shooting facts at s/o and s/o’s like?? How did you learn this stuff?

Anyway, Gen is the kind of guy who would buy pads and other womanly products with no shame, smiling at everyone who gave him weird looks.

Lots!!! Of!!! Cuddles!!!! And like, I mean a lot!! He loves when s/o comes to him for cuddles.

“Gen… cramps are killing me…”

“Oh! Lots of hugs and kisses will help you!!”

Senku Ishigami

I mean, Senku is the science man. Of course, he knows everything single detail of what goes on during s/o’s period. Once, he launched into a full lecture about periods and would not stop.

“Senku, I am cramping like hell and bleeding and-”

“No, you’re menstruating s/o. And technically, cramping is caused when-”

Senku is pretty much fine with it. He knows that its normal and the process of a healthy girl. I mean, he’ll probably get annoyed with their mood swings?? But he understands because he knows that’s normal. 

Not the most comforting, but still pretty good!

Chrome

Ok so, even though Chrome knew like?? Nothing?? About periods?? He forced Senku to give him a crash course on what happens. And he was like?? All girls have to go through this??

Even though there’s not chocolate and ice cream in the stone world (yet) he really does try his best to comfort s/o!

Probably brags about his rock collection to s/o! They just have a good time talking about good old rocks…

I feel like Chrome knows about the peaceful spots, so he definitely takes them there to relax!

Ryusui Nanami

Well, this is awkward. I feel like Ryusui would be… like.. how do I put it? I feel like the first time he heard of periods went something like this.

He was walking around and he saw a girl slap another boy.

“Damn, why you acting like you on your period or something?”

“Because I am!”

Ryusui: *Googles what a period is*

He ends up having to ask Francois for help and advice on how to deal with s/o lmao. But!! He is really caring!! If he sees s/o is too tired to do something he’ll 10 billion percent do it for them!!

I guess being a guy who spent half his life on the sea isn’t too aware about these things.

Kinro

Lowkey, sometimes I wonder how they dealed with periods back in the stone world…

He probably gets embarrassed when s/o tells him about their period and stuff!! But he’s also a gentleman!! So s/o will be forced to rest because Kinro is scared for them lmao.

“S/o, are you sure you’re… ok? Does it hurt?”

“Kinro… there is blood co-”

“There’s blood???!!”

Ginro

Oh babey… baby boy.. oh no.

Once, he was running to his s/o, excited to see them, and boom. They were walking and drips of blood followed. He screamed super loud that the whole village knew s/o was on their period lmao.

 He learned to never do that again when s/o bonked him on the head.

He’s just super concerned?? Are they ok?? How are they bleeding and not dying??

Please don’t get mad at him.. he’s trying his best ok??

But… still a great boyfriend :)

Bodyswap Sengen pre-petrification hc?

Ooohoho I finally get a sengen ask. Here we go!

- Senku’s working in the lab, blinks, and then he’s opening his eyes to a crowd.

- Of course he immediately wonders what the hell is going on here. This was Gen’s thing. Not his. The insanity of not remembering how he got here in the first place aside.

- He blinks a few times and nothing changes, but he notices he feels taller. There’s hair in his face. He is most definitely not in a lab coat.

- Senku never cared to keep up appearances, so it doesn’t take him long to drop from the flourish he’d opened his eyes to, turn around, and walk right offstage.

- There’s the stuttering sound of an announcer’s voice behind him, but Senku doesn’t think much of it. He needs to find a mirror because this is just bizzare.

- He doesn’t get far before someone catches his arm, “Asagiri-san, wait!”

- Senku is completely confused. That definitely isn’t his name, but the guy that had grabbed him was looking him dead in the face.

- He manages to field the questions —and why was his voice so different what the hell —well enough to get away and find a bathroom, and seeing someone else’s face in the mirror he’s looking in has to make the top of the list of the strangest things he’s seen. (Maybe. Taiju’s endurance no matter what he’s faced with is definitely up there.)

- The person he sees has uneven black hair, bright grey eyes, and the suit definitely flatters him. Senku moves his arms. The reflection does as well. He makes faces. The reflection copies. He reaches up and touches the glass. The reflection’s meet his.

- This isn’t the body of Senku Ishigami, but he’s absolutely certain that’s who he is.

- He pats down his pockets until he finds a phone, and he laughs at how lucky he is this dumbass uses touch id before he dials his own number.

- “.... hello?” The voice —his own voice —on the other end of the line sounds shaky and confused and Senku kinda wants to laugh. His own mind is still reeling, though, even if he isn’t letting himself react, so he doesn’t.

- “So you’re this Asagiri person?” He asks, and he kind of wonders where that name is familiar.

“... and you would be Ishigami?” The person says. There’s a cheer in the background that Senku recognizes as Taiju, and Asagiri hums in thought. Senku can practically hear the man regaining his composture, and the grin reflected back at him in the mirror oddly looks almost at home on the face he’s currently wearing.

“I think we have some things to discuss,” Asagiri’s words are careful and measured, and Senku can already tell this was going to be interesting. “I’ll send a place we can meet, but I also assume you’ve left the show I was in. If you could be so kind as to tell them an emergency came up, I would be greatful.”

And Senku remembers where he knows the name.

“As long as you aren’t asking me to put on magic tricks.” He says, turning to the door. “When and where?”

He can almost see the grin on the other’s face as Asagiri Gen gives him a location.

Insanity of the situation aside... he thinks this might be interesting.

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s Chapter 219 (“Three Heroes”)

My thoughts after reading Chapter 219:

01. The three heroes are going to be petrified going into space... :O But, how will they be revived? Some kind of timed revival fluid shower or something? And if they’re going to be revived eventually, then why not make better life support technology for them to use?

02. I never even considered the idea of reviving three modern era astronauts, but it’s nice to know they considered and rejected the possibility :) I want people I care about to go to space, not three strangers :D And expertise against Whyman’s attacks is such a logical thing to take into account! :)

03. Ryusui is the pilot, of course... but, Dr. Xeno has to stay on Earth at mission control? So he was never possible as a candidate? Interesting... :O

04. I was laughing so hard when Dr. Xeno brought up stamina XD Under other circumstances, Senku would be the obvious choice, but... stamina? Senku? Hahahahaha! XD Oh, poor Senku... XD

05. Nikki’s back, and since we can have our key people back, so is everybody else! :D Yuzuriha, Ginro, Matsukaze... although... Ginro still hasn’t changed... :O And Kohaku was so happy to see him, too... :)

06. Tsukasa’s great at swimming, because he’s like that with all physical stuff, and Kinro, Ginro, and Magma are awesome at swimming, too, being from Ishigami Village! :D

07. Senku’s eyes shined as he remembered his past experience of helping Byakuya with HIS clothed swimming test, and he drew strength from the memory of Byakuya’s success! :’) That’s wonderful! :)

08. Kohaku looks so cute, all determined like that XD Oh, Poor Kohaku! After being shown the incredibly complicated maze puzzle, she just straight-up died... XD Senku’s breezing through this part of the test, though! :D

09. Looks like Kinro and Magma could still stand after the equilibrium test, but it made poor Ginro throw up! :O

10. Tsukasa may be a good jumper, but Kohaku’s even better! :D She did jump that ridiculously wide gorge, after all! :O

11. Kohaku and Tsukasa quality time, yay! :) But he attacked her all of a sudden, so... less yay? :O BUT, even though Kohaku defended herself, she still had faith in him :) And as it turns out, it was of course just to gauge her skills, and we even got a callback to the day they first met! :D

12. And now it looks like she’s just as good a warrior as Tsukasa and Hyoga after all the life-and-death battles she’s gone through! :O (Although Tsukasa’s still better than her at martial arts.)

13. And after hearing from Tsukasa, the kingdom of science’s battle expert, about what kind of warrior would be needed on the moon, Senku and Dr. Xeno announced that the three heroic astronauts will be... Ryusui, Senku, and Kohaku!! :D Senku and Kohaku are going to the moon together! :) And Ryusui will be there, too! XD I totally predicted this trio, and I was right! :D I’m so, so glad Kohaku was chosen - she deserves it! :)

14. I must say, though... this is going to be really hard for Suika :( Her three favorite people are going to outer space on the most dangerous mission of all... :O

15. I’m going to go read the next chapter now... they might launch the manned rocket at the end of the next chapter, so I hope I see a lot of the Ishigami Villagers in the next chapter (and other kingdom of science folks, too) giving the three heroes their well wishes! :) I especially hope to see emotional moments with Chrome, Ruri, Suika, and Kokuyou! :D Oh, and Taiju and Yuzuriha, too! :) And Sai will probably have a moment with Ryusui :) Also, I hope Senku and Kohaku will have another nighttime/sunrise chat, like they did in Chapter 140! :D

The Future Leaves Nothing Behind [Part 1] Wake Me Up [Ishigami Senku]

Warning(s): soft-hearted OC, teen romance (characters are chronologically over 3,700 years old), confessions, angst, minor claustrophobia.

She never even saw it coming, and strangely enough, neither did he. The entire human race went to rest that day; the same day Nozomi confessed her deepest secret to the person she admired the most.

Her timing was precise, right down to the second her body was converted to stone. A huge weight felt like it had been lifted, but out of time, her declaration of guilt received no closure. The last thing she saw before darkness took her was the look of surprise on his face.

This image stayed with her for over three hundred decades. Was it because of her that Senku looked so alarmed? She never meant to put him on the spot, but at the time, her control was running thin. It was all her fault, not having a better hold on her emotions. She let Taiju get under her skin and talk her into confessing to him.

It was a mistake; one she’d never get the chance to right. Inside she was crying for mercy. Her lungs filled with air, but no sound came out. Nozomi just lay there, inches away from where she knew Senkuu had been. It was hard to imagine like she was trapped in a dream she’d never wake up from. All she could think about was apologizing for being a rotten friend; all she wanted was the chance to make it right.

One unforgettable afternoon, a surge of light woke her. The stone exoskeleton around her body splintered and fell away. Nozomi cried out in shock. She leaped up from the cavity she formed in the thick earth and gasped for air. It wasn’t that she couldn’t breathe correctly, but because she was lying face down, her fear of tight spaces overwhelmed her. Fat warm tears clouded her bright eyes as she wept loudly.

Was this a dream? Had by some miracle her hopes been answered? She wasn’t sure, but what she did know was that she was alive. I need to calm down and stop being a coward. Or else I won’t last an hour, wherever I am.

Aware that she was naked and covered in mud, Nozomi picked herself up and stumbled over to the cavity she had been lying in. The pieces of stone that once covered her lay in a messy heap; a three-dimensional model of herself shattered beyond repair. She found no reason to put them back together and left them as is.

I was mistaken. My body didn’t turn into stone; it was a husk. But how did she break out? In hopes of finding the answer, Nozomi glanced around the area. She was in a densely wooded region, from the looks of it. But how did she get here? The last place she remembered being was inside the school.

Her eyes widened in revelation. Senku. He had been near her when she was petrified. Was he still around? From the looks of it, no. A broken husk of a stone laid near her, pieced together like someone had tried to rebuild themselves. Knowing him, the genius had probably already figured out something that she could not see. But where was he? Did he leave any clues?

Nozomi tried to follow in his footsteps. She knew that the most logical thing to do was to stay alive. Figuring out the root of the situation could wait.

I need to find a water source, then maybe I can make something to wear. She knew that eventually the sun would go down and she would need to build a fire; tools were essential for this. The list went on. Nozomi sighed in exhaustion but urged herself to get moving. Her eyes wandered over to the spot where Senku had been resting and frowned.

Soon … give me a little more time. Please don’t be mad at me; please Senku.

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S02E11 (“Prologue of Dr. Stone”)

(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)

My thoughts after watching Season Two, Episode Eleven:

01. (CHROME.) It was nice of Chrome to call Ishigami Village to give the old people an update! And he’s Tsukasa’s second choice if he had to go to space... he’d like that!

02. (HOMURA.) Homura’s happy to be with Hyoga, even if they ARE in different prison cells!

03. (HYOGA.) It’s interesting that Hyoga called Kohaku brain-dead and was trying to teach her something (how to run a kingdom) even though he’s a prisoner. And speaking of prisoners, he and Homura are getting a lot of meat despite being prisoners! Having a lot more hunters now is definitely an advantage!

04. (GEN.) Gen was the one who brought up the lack of anesthesia, but he was still pretty scared when Tsukasa said he could handle it... maybe it was the lack of fear from Senku and Tsukasa that did Gen in? And later on, after Senku said that he would have to kill Tsukasa with his own hands, Gen walked into the path of the sun and made the room darker, mirroring the dark turn the conversation had taken! Great detail!

05. (MIRAI.) Mirai wanted to know what was going on, and she... got what she wanted...!

06. (NIKKI.) Nikki knows that when your side has meat roasting over campfires and the other side has tanks, it’s not the other side who’s primitive...

07. (KINGDOM OF SCIENCE.) It's cool that Ishigami Village used to be the less advanced community, but now it's those villagers who are working to build advanced technology for the kingdom of science! Plus, Chrome and Kaseki talking about scientific things, Kinro and Ginro talking about glasses and ramen... and they revived Mangaka-kun! (Or Mangaka-san?) The old people were so happy to hear that there were no casualties!

08. (KOHAKU.) I love how it now seems to be tradition that Kohaku and Senku have a moment alone together to talk during Dr. Stone's season finales! (This also happened in Season One!) Kohaku is so confident when she talks about Senku to Hyoga, and Mirai, and... pretty much everybody, if we’re counting all the times from both seasons. She has so much faith in him! It makes perfect sense that she was comforting Mirai - if anybody knows how Senku can use science to save a dying sibling, it’s Kohaku! Not only that, but she also knew exactly why Senku and Tsukasa needed to talk alone during Tsukasa’s final moments...

09. (SENKU.) Senku's spear training with Kinro helped him (probably mostly mentally) prepare for the impact Hyoga's spear made! It’s too bad we didn’t get proper roadmaps for the fridge or for the wound-sealing superglue, but it makes sense since they didn’t take a lot of screentime to make. Even before the petrification, Senku was so clear from the very beginning that anybody dying was unacceptable, so even though there’s a logical reason for the cold sleep, the situation must be extremely difficult for him, even before you factor in his friendship with Tsukasa... For a while there, after Tsukasa’s eyes had closed, Senku was talking to somebody who... couldn’t answer back...

10. (TAIJU.) Taiju’s the perfect person to gather the pieces of broken stone statues! And he was Tsukasa’s first pick for a space mission!

11. (TSUKASA.) Tsukasa remembers every life he took... I know it’s his only option if he wants to live, but he still took the idea of painful surgery while awake pretty well! (I think that was a new Lillian Weinberg song that we heard while Tsukasa was being frozen?) Tsukasa’s last words to Senku about the past being fun was just like Shamil’s last words to Byakuya about the ramen being delicious...!

12. (UKYO.) Ukyo was distraught by the destruction of the statues, but by being Tsukasa’s scribe, he’s helping in his own way, to compile the information needed to gather them!

13. (YUZURIHA.) Yuzuriha’s crafts club experience is coming in handy, even though she probably never thought she’d be in a cave, performing surgery by sewing up a dying person with no anesthesia or anything...

14. (ENDING THEME.) I LOVE that they played the ending theme over the last scene of this episode... season finales seem even more epic when that happens! It’s too bad this is the last episode for it, but this season’s ending song is still so intriguing and inspiring and beautiful!

15. (FINAL THOUGHTS.) This season was so interesting to watch, AND it was so faithful to the manga! Season Three, if we get it, will be full of fun and adventure... a ship, a crew, and Taiju and Yuzuriha finally get to go overseas! There’s also that new character shown in the final few seconds of this finale! As Kohaku said, we’ll be following along the roadmap for humanity’s future! The people who worked on this season did an excellent job! Season Two was AMAZING!
