Eichi was someone who you believe couldn't be trusted from his past actions. Sure, things wouldn't have been booming without him hurting anyone, right? But maybe there was a better way to do it, it doesn't matter. It's been done, and it's not your problem anymore.

You we're his producer, the best you could do was simply forgive.

But never forget.

It was never easy to work with someone you used to hate... covering up true feelings of bitterness towards him even until now. Maybe he could sense what's wrong or bothering you, because whenever you remember what he did, he comforts you slightly. Even at rare occasions, invites you for some tea.

Just the two of you.

You always politely decline. You know he's changed but... you could never really tell.

You sort of liked him, though. He was sort of cute anyways. No, it wasn't because of his looks you we're attracted to. It was... maybe because he tried his best at everything and pleasing everyone purely just for a brighter future in the age of idols he leads. The way he can genuinely try to care for those surrounding him, the way he knows his own potential and gives it his all.

It pains you to think this feeling you felt towards him is most likely just one sided.

He would never think of you.

You were just someone who works for him.

You were daydreaming about him, holding back tears. Even one flowing down your cheeks already.

Until you heard something scratch the floor, a chair infront of you. Sat down there was Eichi. He looked concerned for you. He tucked a piece of hair behind your ears and wiped your tears using both of his hands.

What's wrong, what's bothering you?

He asked in a soft tone that made you melt... but also nearly made you even more hurt.

Stop playing with yourself, he would never be truly concerned about a measly producer.

You shake your head in response.

Everything's fine, don't worry about me.

You told him pulling a smile quickly. His hands made it's way towards yours and he pulled them closer to him.

I know something's wrong, don't cover it. Tell me.

He tells you as his gaze turns into a more loving and understanding, in a way you couldn't really explain.

It hurts.

He kisses your hand before standing up.

If you don't wish to tell me... that's fine.

He smiles and takes his leave. And once he did you started sobbing lightly. With the hate, there is still love in your heart for him. All these times where you could've been worshipping, appreciating him... you didn't do a thing. Not even bothering to praise him before because of the hatred you had. But now that you realize it... you like him, like him a lot. Oh how you wish to just turn back the clock to make things right.

God, it was all so very confusing.

To the next day, you arrived to work with an aching heart and puffy, swelling eyes from crying. Everyone was very concerned for you. But you denied any chance people had to ask if you were okay. Keeping on the it's nothing act.

You had to pass a design for Fine's performance to Eichi soon, and you were stressed thinking what would Eichi like? If Eichi would wear this?

Eichi shows up at your office door, he opens it without warning. Alertedly, you covered your face in shame for being like this.

How displeasing.

He sits down next to you pushing away your drafting designs away, and placing a big dish with a teapot, tea cups and cookies on it. He takes your hands off your face and cups it lightly. He rubs your cheeks softly using his thumbs.

Oh, please do not ruin your perfect face with tears.

He tells you. It was enough to make you break; to make you confess your feelings right then and there. He pulls his chair closer to you and puts your head on his chest, caressing your cheeks and playing with your hair, combing it with his fingers.

He serves you some tea, and places a small dish on your side with a serving of two cookies.

Eat up, it'll help you more with work.

He says. You nodded and with shaking hands, you took the tea cup and blew on it. You were trembling, and Eichi would hold your back, next to him rubbing it, reassuring it's okay.

You ate the cookies next, dunking them in the leftover tea.

Once you finished up, Eichi gathered everything up. And went up to stand.

Now that you're relaxed, get back to work.

He said in a rather hard tone. As he walked off, he shut the door behind him. Was he just being sweet to make you do things for him? Is that was his motives towards you were?

You were right, you shouldn't have trusted him.

If you didn't even try to give him this chance; you wouldn't have been crying again, begging for him to take you in and love you.

At last I'm done with Marineford (and post Marineford), and man what an arc it was

My personal favorite things consisted of:

The detail of Buggy's outfit - he felt such a need to change clothes before reaching Marineford that he stole some Marine Captain clothes from the stolen warship - probably had to make holes in the hat so his hair could go through. The fact that he still made sure to cross the Marine symbols in the cape and hat is the chef's kiss

Iva-chan and Jinbei were Luffy's freaking parents and guardian angels this arc, my god

Wow, who'd guess Galdino would be so important in this whole mess

I praised Akainu's red suit before the fight started. It goes by unneeded to mention that I whole-heartedly take back that compliment

Or any compliment I ever made him, really

It pisses me off that Ace freaking died because of his pride and inability to let it go

Maybe if he had watched Frozen, he'd know better

I think that little exchange Buggy and Shanks have near the end of the war is their only present-time interaction and I really wish they had more....

All the warlords were pretty much useless and non-existing for the bigger part of the war, especially towards the end

They appeared every 2 eps for a reaction shot and that was it

It reached a point where they were probably just watching the fight go down, hidden away in a corner eating popcorn, sharing an XXXXL cup of Cola, making bets on who'd die when and how

Hancock was in the thick of it the whole time, though, she's the exception

Little Ace was a little angy gremlin with homicidal tendencies and I can't believe I still like him after he tried to kill Luffy like 4 times
