oh well you are in the right place for being frustrated with ashton babes i try to love him but he makes it so hard sometimes. i saw what he said about yungblud (here’s the tweet if anyone else reading this doesn’t know) it didnt make ??? any sense ???? first of all he called yungblud’s relationship to music “child like” (like.... [sic] obviously i know it’s one word) and then called him a genius so i don’t even know what he was trying to SAY there. also meghna put this better than i could so

i agree with you in the sense that i think i would enjoy if 5sos were to go back to the pop punk sound, even though i highly doubt that’s gonna happen because they seem to really like this evolution of their music? and obviously since they’re artists i encourage them to do what makes them happy and experiment more even though i bet if they’d been discovered by all time low instead of 1d they’d be a very different band sonically but that’s a totally different conversation that i will not be having with anyone because wishful thinking is in fact a fool’s errand so like on the one hand yeah good for them that they’re making music they want to make, but on the other hand. i don’t. like it as much as the pop punk-sounding stuff. and i totally feel you on that, it’s hard wanting to love and support an artist but also knowing that they keep drifting further and further from the sound that you originally started loving and supporting them for. if that makes sense

also straight up if we got an atl x 5sos collab like that i don’t know what i would do. like i think i’d cease to exist
