Scrolling through the tags on just waking up and did a bunch of people mass hallucinate something in the cooldown room
This is the full video of the cooldown room and in it Max wasn’t insulting Carlos at all? If you don’t clip it out of context this is what is said:
Carlos (to Max): you never thought of a one-stop?
Max: *shrugs* I mean we could have done it but it was for us probably a little bit slower. And you are just struggling with the tyres, you know what I mean?
(Max goes to sit down. Checo looks at Carlos)
Checo: Charles was strong eh, today?
Carlos: Quite strong.
(They go to sit to watch the highlights)
There is nothing here that suggests Max is insulting Carlos’s tyre management. If anything he’s generally saying that Red Bull chose a two stop to avoid any unnecessary struggle with the tyres. The most popular “Red Bull is hating on Carlos” cooldown room clip going around specifically cuts off before Carlos replies to Checo.
It’s an exercise in media literacy. Take a clip out of its full context and add some sound effects and you have false media.

In defense of Sejanus Plinth part 2 cause I’m still seeing TERRIBLE takes.
I am convinced (and this is my OPINION but I will try to back it up with relevant info from the books) that Sejanus could not have “done a lot of good” if he stayed in the Capitol and used his “privilege” to end the games like Plutarch did.
Reason one: Our wonderful president of Panem is literally famous for poisoning people. The games are Coriolanus Snow’s claim to fame, his means of control. He NEEDS the games. If Sejanus stayed in the Capitol and gave one INKLING that he was going to threaten the Games’ sanctity Coriolanus. Would. Poison. Him. Like literally immediately.
Reason two: Yes the Plinths have money. Spoiler, so do most in the Capitol. Many of Coriolanus’s classmates are equal in wealth to Sejanus’s family (aka the Heavensbees, Cranes, and Creeds). The only reason Coriolanus hates specifically the Plinths for their wealth is because they are DISTRICT. In Coriolanus’s eyes they do not DESERVE their wealth because of where they came from. Yeah, Sejanus never starved like Coriolanus did. He was not really that privileged though. In the books, he lived in an apartment that was NOT ON THE CORSO that looked unimpressive from the outside, suggesting that the Plinths would never have the real status of a born Capitol citizen. Sejanus and the rest of the Plinths were and always will be outcasted because of their origin. That doesn’t sound like privilege to me. Doesn’t sound like something he could use for a lot of good.
Number three (the most important) reason: That is not the POINT of his character. Sejanus is kind and he speaks his mind and he cannot look past atrocity. Plutarch did a lot of good, yes, but he did some TERRIBLE shit to get to that end. Sejanus COULDN’T do that. He would not have the heart. He was too good for a world like Panem, the point is that his kindness cannot exist in a world like that, it will be snuffed out.
Anyway, sorry for the rant but like… yes, morally grey characters like Plutarch are cool and interesting to read about. But I feel like there’s this obsession with conniving characters and they’re starting to be seen as the only GOOD characters because people love to insert their own beliefs or methods onto literature. Sejanus is a wholeheartedly good person and not under any circumstance morally grey. If that makes him boring, fine. But like, don’t say “oh he should have done (insert thing so incredibly out of character it’s insane) instead!” when it makes no sense and completely disregards the point of his character.

really actually kind of enjoy how the big lore moments are sort of quiet on a singular stream (or a small group!) instead of the events solely being the lore; i think there would be this hesitation to develop anything solo if the server reinforced this idea that Big Lore could only happen during scheduled events and days. instead the more narrative-progressing moments (take the baghera hybrid experiments revelation or the philza birdnapping for recent example) are very low-key and almost unhyped up— there’s no expectation for that kind of lore necessarily at the time which makes it more rewarding to experience as a viewer. big fan of how they do the events as player bonding time rather than serious narrative progression because it allows all the players (especially the ones who don’t engage in the rp side that much) to participate and get to know each another more; it’s very neat it’s really smart it’s nicely executed

Sometimes I prefer to think of Nico and Jason as a friendship that exceeds romance.
I don’t know why. Maybe I’m just fetched up with all the romance going on in media or just everywhere I look. Sometimes it just feels nice to have a platonic love that relies on nothing but the resonance of your souls and your own will.
Romance feels like a pull, a push - you fall. It’s like something you can’t help. I hate it when I lose control of myself. Friendship feels like, well, two people saying ‘Hi!’ after six months not seeing each other yet still smiling like the old days and knowing the other would have your back no matter what.
That’s how I see them.

I love Motojirō Kajii 🍋 First of all, his theme song is a bop. Second I love how stupid his ability is, literally how did he figure it out?? Makes me ponder about how the whole ability system works. And last he's just entertaining to watch, it's fun to watch a silly guy do his thing ✨
100% he is a very silly guy!!
tbh I’m really not a fan of his introduction— why was he bombing that train? What was he trying to accomplish? It’s not consistent with what he does throughout the rest of the manga (jobs that he’s sent to do by the PM).. but maybe the PM people just weren’t watching him too closely that day and he got bored. It’s ok he could be a little silly and do a few shenanigans. as a treat.
