Tomorrow will be a hard day… we have 3 storage units from the time my family briefly became houseless in 2015. The place we found was too small, so a lot of our stuff is still there. The storage units are going up in price, so I’m going tomorrow to try and deal with the smallest, least full unit. This has a lot of my parents old stuff, like my dad’s custom made surfboard from the 70s-80s (important things that aren’t vital/necessary, etc) but most importantly… many of my mom’s things. There’s a yellow jewelry box in there that was her favorite and broke during the move… she didn’t want to throw it away and wanted to see if we could fix it, so it’s been sitting in there. But I have to deal with it, and it’s going to be really hard.

Good thoughts/vibes are appreciated. I’ll have some help going through the stuff, so I won’t be alone. But it’s still going to be difficult. Especially if I discover that yellow jewelry box is broken beyond repair and I have to throw it away….

Hello!

So: I’ve been wanting to meet more people through Tumblr. I have a lot of lovely mutuals and I love having conversations with them. But I’m always open to new people and interests on this particular platform but there is a few things I’d like to point out before getting started: 

Cis straight men, please do not try to talk to me. Especially if you are a chaser. I’m only interested in girls. If you want to follow me, that’s perfectly fine. And while I acknowledge my attraction to women, I’m just looking for some nice platonic conversation with people close to my roots (Such as trans women or trans men of any sexual orientation or cis lesbians). I have casually flirted/had people casually flirt with me but it’s only if the feeling is mutual and it’s usually done in a very doe-eyed self-aware manner. 

So without further ado: my name is Lillian (Lily for short)! I’m a 18 year old pre-HRT trans woman. This is a picture of me out in public, presenting as a girl for the first time. 

My interests are: 

-Watching films. Old classics and the new stuff. I watch and enjoy the black-and-white silent flicks as much as some of the latest indie films or particular blockbusters. I’m a Criterion Collection addict. But I love movies on a wide spectrum of supposedly “artistic quality”. Eraserhead, The Princess Bride, Texas Chainsaw 2, ya name it.  I could go on for infinity honestly). -Anime (I absolutely and blindly adore 90s anime like Outlaw Star, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Slayers, Trigun, and Cowboy Bebop but the newer stuff catches my fancy as well :3) 

-Writing short stories, television scripts, or plays. Or TRYING to anyway lol (BTW if you’re a writer or any sort of creative, feel free to DM about what you’re working on!) 

-Indie games (Like OFF and Night in the Woods) and point-and-click adventures games (Like Secret of Monkey Island or Grim Fandango) just to name a few. Like literally. I don’t play a lot of video games unfortunately :/ Ironically, I do dabble in game design on a conceptual level. 

-Collecting VHS tapes (I know, crazy right?) 

-Vaporwave aesthethic (Trevor Everything, Resonance by HOME, and Two Time ittttzzzzmyjammm) 

-Music from the 1960s (Janis Joplin, Otis Reeding, and Velvet Underground baby) 

-Thrift store shopping. 

-Girls who have strong passions they like to share. ;3 

-Just girls in general. Ya’ll so amazing. I’d say we but I’ve got self-esteem issues to confront. X3
