Last night got bored and installed ibis paint on my phone to try my hand at digital art again, it's been about three months seen I've done it so I don't think it's terrible. I'm use to using medibang, not ibis
I drew macaque because I think he's neat, line art sort of messy though. Hope you can at least enjoy my shading and highlights I did, they are the only things I like doing.

hello!! I'm so sorry to send an ask again, but I totally forgot to ask this, this is a follow up to my last ask about what art program you use, and as a struggling artist.. who kinda wants to move on from ibis, do you have any art program recs ??? I'd thought I could ask since you are one of my favorite artists and I adore your art :] again, so sorry for so many asks!!! have a good day/night, <3
Ooooh not a problem at all!! I'm so flattered 🥺, I got a little wordy so I'm gonna stuff my answer under a cut XD
I haven't used too many programs, so I can't give you a super wide review, but I can speak a bit about these:
Artrage - DO NOT USE IT. LEARN A BETTER PROGRAM PLEASE OMG SO MUCH TIME WASTED ON IT IT CAME FOR FREE WITH MY TABLET I DONT RECOMMEND IT
Photoshop - basically the most powerful software you can find. However, from what I've heard, other cheaper programs can do the exact stuff PS can do and I would advise doing some research on those alternatives. Other artists can def tell you about them!
Autodesk Sketchbook - I use it to doodle on my phone when I can't use my computer! It's fun! And I don't have a stylus but I imagine it would be pretty powerful-and always helps that it's free! Drew this down below with it :) It supports my style well enough
FireAlpaca - Last used it a looooong time ago, and from what I remember, it's good for being free! Plus you can animate in it! It's beyond frustrating to animate in it, but still possible! Made this down below in it a couple years ago~
Aggie.io - Especially fun to use because you can draw with friends in real time! It has a very similar feel to Photoshop, lots of the same functionality, but also missing some of the powerful tools. I drew the one on the left entirely in aggie, but then I colored it in Photoshop :) Con is that it's browser based... I think you'd need wifi to use it...
Side note: The majority of my friends use Clip Studio Paint, and I think it would be a good investment! They do great stuff in it! I just don't know anything about it, never used it ^^ I've also heard good stuff about Krita!
Sorry for being so long winded >< I hope I helped at least? Remember in the end you'll be able to make any software work :)
