the fact that there is a random meme about this very scenario, should tell you just how cliche a move it was to kill Izzy off right after he got redeemed, and to me personally, ofmd was not a show that did what everyone else was doing, it was different, and they didn't care about what was "expected" or what was the norm, but when it really mattered, they followed the herd, and let a lot of us down, and i'll just leave it at that~~

#smthing i have always struggled w.is feeling like i can only draw things that r handed 2 me.#as in.an idea or concept that already exists #chara or conflict that already exists.Scene that alr exists.#and i think it can be soo limiting bc when i have that sort of creative desire but nothing 2 reflect off of it #i feel like im unable to do anything/get anywhere bc im unable to do that mental legwork myself ykwim #like comic artists r SOOO JAW DROP INSPIRING TO MEE bc not only are u envisioning ur own sequences/situations #but u are able to imagine even the most MUNDANE interactions within those scenarios u know #like the transitory panels and the quiet moments and the every day stillness #and i feel like.its not even a poor attempt on my behalf its like.i cant Even attempt it.like my brain is soo empty #and soo static and noiseless that i am like gauhh......#i can practice lines all day long and practice colors and practice anatomy or Whatever bc its something concrete #and its in front of me and i can pry apart the physical technicalities until i understand it better #but my MIND???ABSTRACTION>? #super dark times #sdt #josh templeton #zach taylor #daryl and charlie are also there but this aint about them #well it is about daryl. it’s *all* about daryl at the end of the day. but ykwim #im simply a sucker for stories about best friends where everything gets sosososo fucked up 🤷‍♂️#sam draws shit #sam edits #<- yeah it gets both tags i opened after effects for this #this movie fell into tht sweet spot for me where it was the right combo of compelling characters who felt Real with great visuals but also #with enough moments i was like ‘what. why?’ about that it keeps me thinking trying to decide how i feel about/interpret elements of it #like. i enjoyed it but it's flawed in the exact ways a piece of media needs to be for it to rotate around in my brain for a while #also i truly did NOT have the time to draw this i have so much other shit to get done but i couldn’t focus until #i got this idea out of my head so. here we are

#talkin #big spider based events yesterday #lots of spiders in this building #an alleged brown recluse got lost in our kitchen and showed up at my bedroom door at 2am...#i stomped it w my shoe and thought it got away?? like didnt see it?? and i went 2 the bathroom n when i came back it was squished and dead #but not even where i stomped it and i know it wasnt on my shoe #and then later i scratched an itch while i ws in bed and it was a little spider i felt bad abt tht one tht was an accident #and also theres a chill ass lil house spider hanging out in the corner of my room by my bes #i need a bedframe skdkdjsh i cnt keep waking up w bugs on me or mysterious bugbitws #i love spiders theyre my friends bt ysterday Was harrowing #tht brown recluse ran at me and i did a 6 foot vertical leap #it might not have eben been a brown recluse bc idk abt my eyesight but if 1 of them is in my home it is kill watch #most spiders i let back into the outside hall where most of them live since outdoors would kill most of them #i will not b doing that w biting spiders #spiders #i also hate when bugs can see u looking at them trying to decide what to do w them and they like. slowly start moving away like dkdjdjdhdhd #right before they SPRINT n disappear #u can see it w fruit flies too if i look too close at one to see if it rlly is a bug bc again my eyesight they lift their tiny little wings #right before they take off #i also have eternal beef w the fruit flies

Considering the posts I saw slamming Aqua for OnK ch 143 before I read it (which was like a month later because I wanted the drama to die down first so that I could get a more neutral impression of it), I have to say...

You all made me worry for nothing 😭I was so anxious since Aqua's my favourite character and people made it sound like he was onboard for what happened in that chapter. Like sure, he didn't handle the situation appropriately but he can't deal with his own baggage in a healthy way - how is he expected to unpack someone else's trauma properly. 💀

At least Ch 150 is out to remind everyone that Gorou and Aqua are NOT the same being despite sharing the same soul.
