Now I will start rambling!

So there was this person in the Omori discord server who drew fine in the Omori art style and my friend, a fellow Omori fan, sent it to me and I was super inspired. It just looked super pretty and my crops were watered and absolutely flourished!! My friend also helped me figure out who would be in Mari's role, with the options being past fine members and of course, Tsumugi had to die <3

I like him very much (and he is one of my favorite Enstars characters... just #5 though) so I wanna give him that really important role ahah

It only makes sense because he's the one who was the most affected by Eichi?? He really considered Eichi a friend and felt betrayed by his actions while Nagisa and Hiyori were just in fine on contract. I honestly do not know much about the Enstars story and it's been a while since I've finished Omori so idk...

But yeah, it has to be Tsumugi!

Anyways, Eichi wouldn't be a shut-in and only stay at home like Sunny. I see him in a coma after the events of the War and Tsumugi's death? And that's why he's in a dream world, where Tsumugi is still alive and things are starting to settle down.

The white egret orchid in the pic is basically a redraw of the one in Omori. The game says that it symbolizes the phrase "my thoughts will follow you into your dreams."

I associate it with Basil and I think he means well when he shows up in Sunny's dreams as Stranger.

As for Natsume... I'm giving him Stranger's role and he definitely does not have good intentions for Eichi so that line, "my thoughts will follow you into your dreams" would be more of a curse. He'd be constantly showing up in Eichi's dream world and trying to force him to remember what he's done.

The inciting event that forces Omori to explore the dream world with his friends (and him eventually remembering Mari's death) was looking for Basil, who is missing.

For Eichi, the inciting event would be Natsume stirring up a rebellion.

I don't think there'd be silly little creatures to fight like sprout moles and bunnies. The battles would be singing and dancing as per Yumenosaki style. Rebels would continuously spring up and challenge fine to a duel.

But of course, there'd be little side quests like Omori where fine, with 3 out of 4 members being part of the student council, have to do some work. I'm being vague because I have no clue. I can see quests being asked by students and they're like pinned to a bulletin board. Is Yuzuru even a part of the student council or was he just there to help Tori out?

There is no Trickstar :)

As in their unit hasn't really officially formed yet. I just don't really see where they would fit?

Eichi is not just impacted by Tsumugi's death. Tsumugi is the face of his guilt and also stands for all the other lives that were lost in the War. A really fitting line I remember is Eichi's 4-star card for the Tempest event in which he says, "I'm destroying someone's dream." I had to check in-game so I guess the lines are actually: "I'm the one who crushes that dream. I, and my dream, could ruin the dreams of others." In order to make his wish of creating a utopia for idols into a reality, Eichi has crushed other people's dreams.

I can see him telling himself that they were necessary sacrifices but perhaps there's another small part of him (or it could be Natsume's thoughts entering his head) that asks if Tsumugi's death and the other deaths were actually necessary. Could there have been some world where all that pain could have been avoided?

Ahh I almost forgot that this would be past Tsumugi, who had no blue/turquoise(??) streaks in his hair.

Also I wanted Natsume to be on the right side of the canvas but the way I drew him, it only makes sense if he's on the left. His longer hair lock is on the left side of his face (if it was our pov, it'd be the right? I feel like I'm making this more confusing) and I want to keep it that way but if he was on the right side of the canvas, that longer lock would be on the wrong side...

Also fun fact, my friend shared that fine Omori art with me 178 days ago so about half a year ago... this has been in the back of my mind for some time but I'm glad I finally drew something and wrote my thoughts out.

The majority of my funky ideas are actually Twst-related even though I have yet to talk about any Twst characters or draw fanart of them...

Glamrock Freddy for character thing?

Papa bear!!

First impression:

Visually, i really liked the new design for him! The previous versions were ok never really thought much about it but the glamrock version just works for me! Maybe it’s cos he has actual fangs this time or maybe its because he’s colourful and i like colourful things maybe a mix of those but either way yeah my first thought on seeing his new design was ‘oh heck ye!’

Now as for Freddy as a character, when i first heard him talk i instantly knew he was going to be a gentle giant, his voice was so SOOTHING and he had such a gentle demeanor and i instantly thought ‘oh yeah this guys gonna be a dad’ especially when Gregory came into the picture xD

So first impression was visually - love it! Character - i predict this will be a new fandom dad figure.

I was not wrong.

PROTECT HIM!! I love him. I love the dad energy he radiates and how KIND HE IS and how he wants to help this poor lost child and the way he panicked when he learned Gregory was in his chest compartment because he didn’t want him to get hurt and he goes against his programming to not tell Vannessa that he knows where Gregory is or that he is helping him because he believes what Gregory is telling him which is a BIG THING because adults so often don’t listen to kids but Freddy does he listens and wants to help and just AHHH-

And the way he calls Gregory his superstar?? Like he straight up gave this boy a father/son nickname (like the equivalent of a dad referring to his son as sport or something) and Gregory just GOES WITH IT he never questions it and also how sad Freddy sounds when Gregory is displeased with the mr hippo magnet free gift like how a parent might sound when they’re trying to bond with their kid and it goes wrong like HE’S TRYING BLESS HIM AND JUST AHH-

He’s peak character and i love him.

Favorite moment:

Gotta go with the same as my answer for Gregory here and say all the good endings cutscenes! The good ending with Vanessa especially tho because it has such good found family potential and i LOVE SO MUCH the idea that Vanessa fixes up Freddy and they both adopt Gregory it’s so wholesome and makes me cry everytime because YES!!!!

Idea for a story:

Once again, pretty much the same as my Gregory answer which i’ll just copy and paste here to save me having to basically retype the same answer xD

‘Boi i could think for days on how i’d give this boy a family with Freddy and Vanessa as the parental figures and Sun and Moon being there too as the gremlin/funky jester uncles or psuedo-parents (local orphan adopts parenal figures more at ten-) but i’ve seen so many good au’s of people doing just that already and my soul is satisfied and my heart is complete because of it!

But even so i might poke around a bit with some art of my own with it one day who knows. ~’

Unpopular opinion:

Once again, i have no idea how unpopular this opinion actually is, but i’m not really on board with the idea of Freddy having the soul of Michael (William Afton’s son) within him. :’D Not because i dislike Michael, but i just feel like his story was pretty much concluded with the end of Fnaf 6. Even Glitchtrap/Burntrap i don’t think is actually William himself, but just a corrupted code formed from his evil intentions (think Demise’s Curse from the Legend of Zelda series - Demise is long gone, but his influence lives on in the reincarnations of Ganon)

ahh, ruth!! howdy! I would like to apologize if this ask is all over the place, ya girl is currently goin thru an emotional meltdown + this is my only respite 🤠

The Sergio-Divergent AU is my Baby 😭 it started out as two separate aus, actually! The first one was an "all the crusaders live" au and the second was a "joseph had a son who is josuke's father" au because I could not and tbh still can't accept Joseph cheating on the legend that is Suzi. I realized there was no reason to have them as two separate aus, so they became one.

I have a more detailed page about it all if you're on desktop, but I'll give you the quick rundown! Years after Holly is born, Joseph and Suzi have another son, Sergio! He spends a lot of his childhood with Lisa Lisa because everyone is super busy, and bc of that he gets the whole 411 about his family's history and Hamon. Joseph doesn't let Lisa Lisa send his kid through Hell Climb Pillar, so Sergio and Lisa Lisa agree on music as a good way to practice Hamon. He becomes a huge music kid because of this, which leads to him becoming really good friends with Sadao! (much to joseph's despair lol) He is mcShooken when Jotaro is born, and spends many weekends and school vacations in Japan with the Kujos bc he adores the little guy.

Aside from having Funky Breathing Powers, he has a relatively normal life until he graduates from uni! He has a mild existential crisis, but Sadao comes in to save the day and gets him a few gigs over in Japan. This is where Sergio meets Tomoko, and they hit it off really well (after Holly is able to convince him that yes, she is flirting with him lol).

There's a golden year or two where things are nice. Tomoko graduates from uni, and Sergio gets a nice residency for his compositions! They get engaged! But, things go haywire when Tomoko is like bro.. I am jus DYIN?? And they rush to the hospital to find out!! AHHH the bitch has been pregnant the whole time and her baby said yo I'm fuckin outtie! (I wasn't entirely keen on this concept at first, but this exact thing happened to my sister so I will let it be) Cue the age of madness, in which Sergio and Tomoko try to juggle their jobs, their upcoming wedding, and their newborn.

Things get even madder when Joseph rings to be like, "Heyyy... I do not mean to alarm you but we found Dio's coffin and, uh, he's not in it lol." Sergio is deeply alarmed by this bc Dio was like, the monster under his bed AND in his closet as a kid. He filed the fear away growing up because Dio was dead and couldn't hurt anyone anymore, but now!! Aha! He tries to keep sensible about it, and to his credit, he does for about a year! But then Dio makes his thotty thotty trip to Japan to go crazy go stupid with Giorno's mother and Sergio, a Joestar and big experienced Hamon user, feels his presence deeply. (Dio also senses him [and Holly, Jotaro, and Josuke but he has no idea lol]) All pretense is thrown out the window, Sergio flips his lid because not Only is dio back... but hE'S IN JAPAN AHH.

There's a mild lapse in logic here because it'd be safe to assume that Dio's in Japan to kill all of them? But right now Sergio's just like, he's here to kill ME (and then everyone else. The idea rn is that Dio's coming for him first bc he poses the largest threat, but ahh idk.) Anyhow, Sergio has a mild meltdown about it and postpones the wedding because he doesn't want to run the risk of making Tomoko a widow. Tomoko is not pleased by all of this and is like bro.. you've gotta go to Tibet and get better at fighting with Hamon, I'll go live with my dad in the meantime.

So he goes to Tibet! I need to rework this section a bit, so I won't write too much about it. But! His stand, Golden Prophet, manifests here + he is directed to Abdul by one of Abdul's childhood friends! (This is messy to read, sorry! This is an artifact from before the rework, and I haven't addressed it yet ahh) So he goes to Egpyt, and becomes good buds with Abdul as he learns how to use GP better. The whole time, he's been having the migraine and nightmare of his Life because Dio is also in Egypt! Confident (and perhaps too confident) in his abilities, he sets out to kill the family scourge once and for all. However, he's intercepted by a particularly destructive stand user, Suad, whose stand circumvents his own. He ends up suspended in mid-air by a pole through his lung, which. :( He freaks out for a hot moment bc he Knows there's no way out, and that he won't get to go home and marry Tomoko or help her raise Josuke. In the mania, he has a moment of lucidity and realizes nobody knows Dio's whereabouts except for him... So, he uses Golden Prophet to make one final spirit audio call to his dad, and spills all the beans. With his final breaths, he urges Joseph to seek out Abdul and also make sure Tomoko and their son are well supported.

The stand user, Suad, comes back into consciousness during this phone call and realizes that Sergio is not as horrible as Dio made him out to be, and that he's literally just a Dude. He's just a dad. Wracked with guilt bc she is also just a parent trying to secure a future for her child, Suad defects and seeks Abdul out herself. Abdul is familiar with some of Dio's stand users, but Suad was one of them and knows More. She tells him everything she knows + acts as one of his informants.

This is all set-up for the "All the Crusaders Survive" part of the AU. Joseph is way more cautious going into Egypt because it already claimed his son's life. The Speedwagon Foundation is way more present in Cairo, which is fundamental to Kakyoin's survival. The rest of the AU is very long and basically just follows everyone in the aftermath of the crusade and beyond!

BnHA Chapter 213: blahblahblahSIXQUIRKS

Previously on BnHA: Baby Ochako stole the show for a few pages as Ochako thought back to her childhood and the first time she saw a hero in action and wanted to be like them and help people who looked like they were in trouble. And more recently during the Basement arc, she saw Deku struggling and thought, “who protects the heroes when they need protecting?” So with that nice segue, we cut back to the present, with Deku freaking out and Ochako trying to calm him down and eventually realizing he had no control. So she called on Shinsou to brainwash him, which he did by telling Deku he wanted to fight him again. And miraculously the brainwashing worked, and the quirk died down and retreated back into Deku’s arm. But then Deku found himself back in the OFA Happy Funky Dream Time Zone, being accosted by some beefy aggressive bald dude with goggles. He told Deku he’d gotten it all wrong, and accused him of not listening. “We told you that you’re not alone!” He said Deku’s quirk wasn’t something he could use casually while distracted any more, and told him to pull himself together.

Today on BnHA: Aggressive Bald Dude explains that the crazy new power Deku just used is actually his quirk, Blackwhip. To make a long story short, Deku can use all of the quirks from the previous wielders of OFA. Something something OFA is getting stronger, something something Quirk Singularity blah blah blah. Anyway, so Deku accidentally activated Blackwhip due to his strong feelings and his wanting to capture Monoma. Baldy warns Deku that if he wields his power in anger, it will respond accordingly, and that he needs to have control. He tells Deku he will eventually manifest six different quirks, and that he is the one who will complete One for All. Then he wishes him good luck and vanishes. Deku wakes up in the aftermath of all this strangeness, only to immediately be attacked by Monoma, who knows an opening when he sees one I guess. Everyone else from Teams A and B chooses this moment to arrive as well, and things quickly escalate into a melee battle. Shinsou challenges Deku, and we cut to the teachers who are watching nearby. A thoughtful-looking Aizawa tells the other teachers to let the battle continue.

I wonder how many people guessed this before it was revealed. Horikoshi did an excellent job making it look like his power was just out of control again, honestly. this probably came out of left field for a lot of people

since I unfortunately can’t give you a genuine shocked reaction now, let me instead try to summarize my response when I first came across this spoiler.

and at this point my brain finally kicked into gear, and it just hit me all at once that (1) I knew there was gonna be more OFA stuff coming up (back when I did the recap for Deku VS Shinsou way back in the sports festival arc, someone mentioned that the manga had gotten into the OFA Past Avatars shit again recently -- this was back in like September -- and so it was kind of in the back of my mind ever since then, just waiting to be remembered at a critical moment), (2) said OFA stuff would presumably consist of him learning to communicate with the Ghosts of OFAs Past in precisely the way that All Might said he couldn’t, (3) I also knew from a comment in this post that there was some power-up coming up for Deku at some point that was considered a spoiler, and lastly (4) the math added up. this last part just came to me in a whoosh. I have no idea how it all came together so quickly. but some very logical part of me waltzed in holding a corn cob pipe and was all, “you know, if Deku is the 9th OFA user and he, All Might, and OFA Prime didn’t have quirks*, that means there were six remaining OFA users who presumably did,” and I was like “NOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAY?!” and I started freaking the fuck out. so anyway that’s how it all happened god bless

anyways I really went off on a spiel there. let’s drag our focus back to the present day can we please

I jump around between translations so much that I didn’t notice until very recently that the word “singularity” was being used in odd ways, and that it was also the word used to describe that phenomenon of quirks evolving until they’re beyond the user’s control

(ETA: yeah, listen guys, there is some shady shit going on here. part of it is the quirk singularity stuff, I’m sure, but there’s a lot of suspiciously coincidental stuff happening. but I will tell you more about my thoughts on this in a separate post, I think, because it’s something I’ve been pondering for a while now and I think it’s better suited to its own theory post.)

but okay, so me personally, I fucking love it. I know fandom is somewhat divided on whether he’s going to be too overpowered, but look at him! he has his fucking hands full just getting a handle on this one single new quirk! it’s not like he’s gonna just master this and the other five overnight. basically this is a brand new challenge for him which will take quite some time (if not the remainder of the series) for him to get a handle on, and which will make for much more interesting and unpredictable battles from here on out. and what with All Might gone, and us having pretty much seen the limits of what Endeavor can handle now, I gotta say it seems like we’re gonna need this sooner than later

(ETA: especially with the recent reveal of just what he’s going to be up against. bad guys are not fucking around holy shit.)

and strangely, this also makes me excited as a Bakugou fan because I still firmly believe that the two of them will remain head to head as the series progresses. which means that Bakugou is going to get a hell of a lot stronger himself. I don’t know how, but I have faith in the series to make it happen, and I’m looking forward to that as well

So what I've got in my mind about that Garou&Badd's dialogue endings are basically like these:

-Silly dumb route: I had older headcanon that they likes to chat random topics that often escalated into debate or making some stupid conspiracy theories ALL. NIGHT. LONG, lmao! Usually it was Garou who spout some random nonsenses first that Badd couldn't help but giving him responses, but occasionally Badd also suddenly bringing up some intriguing topics that pulling Garou's interest, lol! Let them being dumbass boyfriends who just likes to share silly interests with eachother 😆

-Heartwarming happy route: Y'know Badd is secretly a hopeless romantic who loves lovely idea of having soulmates that always find eachother no matter what? He was thinking that despite his first meeting moment with Garou wasn't perfect like what he imagined before (being enemies and not so lovey-dovey), but he loves Garou so much and sure that the wolfboy is his fated soulmate. And he wanted to know if Garou shared the same thought as him.. In which Garou reciprocated him, hence the sweet promise between them 😚

-Hurt/comfort route: I mentioned before that Badd's mom was the one who tell him about the soulmate concept, right? Badd missed his mom that night that's why he brings up the topic to Garou. He wasn't sure if soulmates are real or not. If the concept is real, he wanted to make sure Garou wont forget him in the next life. But ithe concept isn't real, he still wanted to be with Garou forever, spending time and living their life as best as they could.. :"") And Garou was here to comfort Badd and tried to get him sleeping soon, because they must go to work in the morning lol! 😂

-Angsty/sad route: This is actually the original ending before I scrapped off because I wasn't satisfied by it, lol. The dialogue was made when I was in my not-so-good days, and it was supposed to have one more line in the ending of their dialogues, something like "On the next morning, the rescue team found Garou and Badd died on eachother's arms" 😢💔

So the backstory, they both just finished their mission together, Badd was unfortunately fatally wounded before Garou could shielded him and he went berserk. Then to accompany Badd's last moment, Garou craddled him in his arms while exchanging convos just like they usually do when sleeping together. As Badd went to eternal sleep, Garou lost his will to live and died together with him. Hopefully Badd's story is true so they could meet eachother again. It was winter and the location was kinda difficult to reach, so the rescue team were too late to save them.

I scrapped off this idea because beside it was too sad, the plot was basically just like my Reincarnated Demon/Angel AU where Badd died, Garou went berserk and died too, before both get reincarnated as demon/angel (enemies again). Thus I decided to make it open ending with happier-leaning possibilities like on above examples 😅

BUT! After I read your interpretation in your tags: #so the second time I read it I thought maybe Badd has memories from a past life?? #possibly multiple liftetimes :’) #and every time garou forgets #but of course they find each other again #and badd tries to make sure he remembers this time around 😭

YASS THIS IS IT! Your idea is BRILLIANT, I personally love this way!! 👀😳👌💖🌟✨ Y'know I usually write stories where they both still can obtaining happy ending together despite experiencing angsty stuff throughout the story. And your interpretation is perfect for that situation! 😚👍

Tbh it reminds me of Madoka Magica story, where one of the protags has a controlling-time magic power which allowed her to go back in the past, just so she could save her bestfriend (or love interest). Even they have shared a promise that they wont forget eachother no matter what, which unfortunately the protags' bestfriend forget her everytime they meet again in different timelines. The anime looked so cute but actually very depressing (has nice OST and heart-touching sweet ending, though!).

But I believe despite being reborn, meeting again, then separated again by death, Garou and Badd still have the best happy life in each lifetimes! And even though Garou always ended up forgets about their past life, he never fails to find Badd just like what they have promised before, aww.. 😍😚💕 It gives Badd hopes that at least in the deepest Garou's mind, he never actually forgets their vow. It's like, the vow has already stamped on Garou's soul :"")💕

So in the end, Garou and Badd will always find happiness in their perfectly-imperfect life together as destined soulmates. They deserved happy ending throughout the whole hardship 👍💖💝

I love all the different routes this could take: lovey dovey Badd yes!! It’s canon as far as I’m concerned 💕 this guy bought like 100+ roses for his sister’s piano recital, I refuse to believe he’s not absolutely full of love! And for the hurt/comfort one asjdkslsk *clutches chest* Badd probably struggles with just coming out and saying he’s missing his mom, but surely Garou’s realized by now how important family is to Badd, and he knows to give him all his love and comfort whenever he mentions her awww 🥺
