Hoyoverse, you have a problem.
So apparently Hoyoverse has learned absolutely nothing since Sumeru, if this trailer is anything to go by. I'm so tired of being told, "Let them cook, Natlan isn't even out yet", and I'm fucking white. I can't even imagine how utterly EXHAUSTED actual people of color must be. It is beyond ridiculous, and this problem isn't exclusive to Genshin. All of their games have a severe lack of diversity, and so to prove my point I used the tier list format to showcase how many light-skinned characters there are compared to brown-skinned in Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail. If I happened to miss anyone it wasn't intentional and I sincerely apologize, there are just a lot of characters.
^ LIGHT-SKINNED.

Rewatching Andor for the second (and a half) time:
I thought that the music that plays when we first see B2EMO was the same as the music we hear the first time we see Kenari... but it's not. Very similar - light percussions take the forefront - but not quite the same. Both B2 and Kenari are part of Cassian's childhood, so this is probably a deliberate choice.
Intergenerational friendship in Ferrix! I'm not sure how old Cassian is supposed to be in this, but Joplin Sibtain, who plays Brasso, is 53 or 54. Maybe just part of the whole Ferrix culture: take care of each other. I'm guessing that the Daughters of Ferrix have a tremendous influence in this.
Speaking of Ferrix: a lot of what happens there in episode 12 is built throughout the season. In 1-3 we see that Salman Paak is part of how Bix is able to stay in contact with a rebel leader. Salman is the first person to (literally) sound the alarm about Pre-Mor corpos in town, and he has his son Wilmon sound the alarm as well.
Even though Pegla (guard at the ship junkyard) tells Andor that he can't keep using the old ship, it's clear that he's been part of Cassian's support network. Cassian is part of the community, even if he's not entirely reliable and honest. (Question: does Cassian view himself as part of the Ferrix community?)
"There's fomenting out there, sir. Pockets of fomenting." Linus Mosk and Syril Karn are the true believers. Or rather, Karn is the believer (in the Empire); Mosk is just happy to go along with whatever gives him power over other people. And he's played with a comical edge, but it's creepy as well.

Learning to internalize the message above, but art is in all of our bones. If you feel afraid to create art because it won't be "good enough," it's worth it to explore why you feel that fear. Creating art is one of the basic impulses of people, and if you want to create art, then you absolutely must.
