EXPERIMENT TIME: SCHEDULING A POST 5 YEARS IN ADVANCE

I'm gonna write this post and schedule it for the first of January 2024. It is currently the second of January 2019.

What's future Tumblr like? Still a fire pit I assume lol, unless it's completely dead (god forbid).

I wonder if I ever learned how to draw humans? Or how much my content has changed over five years? Did I end up getting that extended diploma or did I move on to do other things?

How are my friends? If we haven't met in person by 2024 then idk what's wrong with me!

How about y'all? What was 2019 like? Was it an improvement from 2018? Idk!

I'll just have to wait for future me to respond!!

hello Queenie, long time no see. For 6 sentence shenanigans, how about your Inquisitor feeling my level of frustration with how big the map is and how much of it is just fetch quests and collecting items in the middle of nowhere 🙏 They've got enough stuff to do!!

It was hard to say whether it was any one thing that did it - perhaps it was the sun relentlessly beating down on them as they tromped across the field, maybe it was the smell of wolf-spit and wet fur still clinging horribly to their clothes, or even still, one might think it was the fact the herbalist had sadly proclaimed (for the third time in a row) that no, sorry, they were just a few blooms of Crystal Grace short for what she needed - but whether it was any of those, a combination therein, or something else entirely, the fact of the matter remained.

The Inquisitor had had enough.

She gave no warning before she stopped, her hands splayed out as though trying to stop some invisible force as she squeezed her eyes shut as tight as they'd go. "This...is...madness," she said slowly, each word delivered like a punch to the gut; it broke the dam, however, and once that happened, there seemed to be no staunching it, her syllables picking up speed with each passing moment, "I am the Herald of Andraste - the Herald of Andraste! - and while I could be...closing rifts, or strategizing against Corypheus's forces, or uniting countries, or...or...overthrowing the entire Orlesian empire should I so choose, I'm out here walking in circles and collecting bear claws because a scrap of paper on the ground told me to?! Where is the sense in that - where is the sense in any of this?!"

Her voice echoed for a moment, the last crack of anger resounding like a lightning strike, but when finally it faded and only her strained breathing could be heard, Vivienne heaved an entirely feigned (but still rather put-upon) sigh and asked, "Darling, if you didn't want to help me find my book, that's truly all you had to say."

AWWW hi poke!! Yeah I have such a huge soft spot for Dusk, she's so special to me, I try and put a lot of care into it every time I draw her!

Out of curiosity, was it any specific drawing you were thinking of, or just dusk in general?

[ mai tai ]  : personally I see her as really wanting something to do with flight 🤔 she's so unused to staying in one place at a time, always naturally being a free spirit . i think she'd probably choose flight via wings specifically, as i could see her with wings on her back !

[ caipirinha ] : on like, most levels ? nothing . she is fine with herself as she is adores herself even . she's spent so long with just herself as company that she kind of had no other way but to become so completely accepting and understanding of her own self that she'd never change anything

there's a part of her, though, that regrets not being a cultivator, so i think she'd change that ; if she could go back in time and ask Daozhang, or any number of the cultivators who'd offered it before, to teach her about it, she'd jump at the chance . maybe things could've been different if she were . not that any of us could know for sure, though

The hum. A computer hum. It drew her in, the soft noise creating a map in her head to aid her failing vision.

"Hello?"

It looked to be a human at first, though the closer she got the more some small anomalies could be seen. Fins on either side of her face drooping downwards, a shark tail, and strange slightly curved black spines along her arms and back that seemed to vibrate more the closer she got the sound of the mechanical. She hadn't thought there had been that much power down here initially.

The hum had been coming from one of the big, wall mounted monitors in one of the lounge rooms, previously displaying a status report on the lockdown, pAInter's face had replaced it for about half an hour now as he calmly watched the Searchlights swim by from time to time.

Upon seeing the new person walk in, pAInter was confused. Is that an EXR-P?? He doesn't know of any Z-Entity or any other entity in the site with her appearance...
