Lucas x Reader (mafia)

A/N: I dunno if this is a bad thing or not but I immediately got an idea from this writing prompt I found on Pinterest where character A found out character B got into a "fight" and got hurt then character A swipe their thumb across character B's bloodied lip and asked "Who did this to you", kay I'm weak

Alright, I'm a bit emotional because I had just submitted my final assignment and sorta used Lucas' name in my assignment but immediately jumping straight here XD

Theme: abuse (just a bit but I still put it out here), scary Lucas and some fluff!!

Kay, for this scenario, I, once again, imagine that Lucas is the head of the WayV unit of the NCT mafia. Also, to clarify, the NCT mafia that I imagine doesn't really do anything bad. Instead, they are more so a group that the government decided to build to serve the world but doesn't necessarily follow the rules; something like a secret agency but wilder.

Anyways, everyone in the business world practically knows who NCT is, who the members are and that NCT are always watching. No matter what business they are, wherever they are, NCT has eyes everywhere. Which is why no one dared to question them and would never try to challenge them in any shape or form.

With that being said it didn't mean that NCT was never harmed or was never targeted by other mafias that were trying to run illegal businesses all over the world. It's just that they were always unsuccessful when it came to challenging NCT because NCT would always be one step ahead of them.

Which was why when someone harmed you, Lucas' girlfriend, it nearly shook the entire NCT. Okay, let's rewind how it all happened and actually put some context to how you guys met and how your relationship became what it is.

So, just as the previous Lucas fic I did, you were just a college student while Lucas, is the head of the WayV unit, a sub-unit of NCT that mainly takes care of business in China/Hongkong/Taiwan/Southeast Asian countries. You were in your 2nd year of college when you met Lucas. It was an accident, really.

You were walking back to your dorm after hanging out with your friends who weren't living at the dorm. You told them that the dorm was nearby and you would be fine on your own; adding that you have been taking some self-defence class. But unfortunately, tonight was just not your night, or was it?

You were almost by your dorm's gate when a gang of motorcycles rushed past you, one of them grabbing your bag while you tried to hold onto it. Unfortunately, you were overpowered and ended up falling on your butt while the gang of motorcycles were cheering until another gang of motorcycles and cars blocked their path.

And of course, one of them was Lucas. Lucas came out of the car and confronted the low gang motorcycles, telling them off unless they wanted to take it further which by the look of the gang, they were not expecting the NCT to come and deal with them since normally, it would be the police.

"I'm only going to tell you off just once. Stand down and stay where you are unless you want this problem to escalate further" Lucas growled at the motorcycle gang who just stood their stance

"Round them up. Now, which one of you, ahh, there you are" Lucas mentioned, grabbing your bag which the gang stole

Honestly, you were just stunned. You weren't expecting two different gangs to be doing this late at night and on a school night at that. You just sat on the ground watching the whole scene unveil until Lucas went up to you, extending his hand out which you nervously grabbed.

"You alright? This must be yours" Lucas stated, handing you your bag while your hand was still in his

"Huh? Oh, yea, thank you. Ar-are you like with the police or like is this a gang fight because if it is then I better go back to my dorm..." you stuttered, earning a chuckle from Lucas

"No. We're not really with the police but we're also not really fighting that gang. You can definitely say we're a gang but our gang doesn't really do those bad things. We're more so, cleaning up the trash" Lucas chuckled

"Oh, okay then. Um, thanks again for this" you uttered, shyly looking away

"Anytime. Take care. May our paths cross again someday" Lucas commented, letting go of your hand and heading back to his group

And cross paths you both did. Truth was that Lucas secretly spied on you because you left that much of an impression on him. It didn't take long for Lucas to finally came and told you how he felt because that night he saw you walking back to your dorm, alone, again. Worried that something similar would happen again, he didn't hesitate to come up to you and walked you back.

From walking you back to your dorm, to exchanging contacts and 'i love you' to now, almost a full year of dating. Throughout the whole year, Lucas slowly introduced you to all of NCT. Starting from WayV to the Dreamies who were closer to your age along with some new members (Sungchan and Shotaro) before NCT 127. At this point, everyone in NCT knows that you and Lucas were a thing and was even happy for y'alls relationship, supporting you every step of the way(V); especially the WayV members.

From the beginning of your relationship, Lucas would already tell you what he does and that he promise you that he would never let anyone harm you; and even if they did, they would pay for it. Lucas also told you that he would never exclude you from your life just because you were dating him and you would have every right to do whatever you wanted to do (just with some additional protections).

Lucas and the other NCT members also allowed for you to come to visit them at their headquarters or even at their own apartments whenever you wanted to (remember the visit to Lucas' apartment, yea). And today was one of those days.

After the incident on campus, Lucas made sure that he would be the one to pick you up and drop you off to campus since you practically moved in with him after the incident. If he couldn't make it, he would have someone from NCT do so. They would even accompany you wherever you wanted to go because to them, it was an excuse to get out from the boring meetings that occurred too regularly.

Today, Xiaojun and Hendery were the ones to pick you up because they were passing by your campus. You texted the two boys that you were just going to have a consultation with your lecturer for your final paper and told them to wait for 15 minutes.

But while Lucas did his best to make sure you were unharmed by anyone involved in NCT, there were just some things out of his control. Because as it turns out, your "consultation" turned to be a trap. There was a rumour going around your college about the literature lecturer abusing female students but there was never any proof so no one really believed the rumour, yourself included.

WARNING!! IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE READING ABOUT ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR, PLEASE SKIP THIS PART!!

When you went into the lecturer's room, you were quick to notice something was off. How your lecturer purposely brushed his hand over yours, leaning his head a bit too forward to your liking and finding excuses to get closer to you. Just when you were saved by a phone call from Xiaojun, your lecturer was also quick to notice your behaviour. He grabbed your phone and throwing it off your hand before pinning you to the door, locking it.

You tried your best to fight off with the self-defence lessons you took and learnt from some members of NCT but once again, when you're faced with the actual situation, sometimes, it doesn't turn out how you expected. While you managed to kick your lecturer and got free of his grip, you failed your escape as your lecturer yanked your hair back, making you hit your head on his desk before being welcomed with a hard slap that cut your lip.

Over at Xiaojun and Hendery's side, the second you didn't answer their 5th call, they knew something was wrong. Pulling out the GPS for the tracker they put in your phone, they followed it and arrived in front of the literature's office. Hearing grunts and screams, both Xiaojun and Hendery didn't waste any time on breaking the door.

Entering the room, Xiaojun was quick to pull the lecturer off and gave him a hard punch whilst Hendery went to see your weak figure by the desk, ripped shirt, cut lip and bruises covering most of your body. Hendery immediately took his jacket off and putting it around you, calling out to Xiaojun to get out of there.

"Oi!! Xiaojun!! We should go now!!" Hendery called out

"Shouldn't we grab the douche as well? Lucas would want to have a word with him" Xiaojun complained, grabbing the passed out lecturer by the collar

"We can always track him again. The problem is getting (Y/N) to safety. C'mon!!" Hendery protested, holding your figure firmly

"Fine. He's dead sooner than later" Xiaojun sighed, throwing the lecturer on the ground, helping Hendery bring you back to headquarters

Upon arriving, the three of you were greeted by some of the dreamies and WayV members, mainly Renjun, Jeno, Ten and Winwin. The four of them were informed by Hendery that you were going to need some treatment as soon as possible before Lucas finds out about the situation. Renjun and Jeno were quick to take you from Hendery and Xiaojun, helping you to the treatment room where Ten and Winwin were.

"No one informed the others or Taeyong or even Lucas about this, right?" Xiaojun asked

"Lucas and Taeyong are out with the 'Make A Wish' unit to finish with the business contract. Depending on how that go, Lucas can either be very pissed when he finds out or..." Renjun mentioned

"Or he could be ready to kill you both" Ten blurted, helping to treat the bruises on your arm and legs while Winwin have a look on your face

"Guys!! They're back!!" Jeno stated, making everyone in the room tense while you were somewhat asleep

"Quick!! We have to move her to a different room, they're for sure going to come here first" Hendery mentioned

"Who do you have to move and why?" everyone heard Jaehyun mentioned

"Jae...hyun-hyung...and Lucas-hyung, hey!!!" Renjun stuttered as the others were trying to cover you from their sight

"Why are there 6 of you here? Xiaojun and Hendery too? Is (Y/N) resting somewhere? In the kitchen?" Lucas questioned as everyone nervously sweats

"Ummm, yea, she's resting. She said she was extremely tired. Her classes finished a bit late. We had to wait for a good hour when we arrived" Hendery nervously answered

"Weird. I would normally get a text from her. Maybe she's napping" Lucas sighed, looking at his phone

"Lu...cas..." you mumbled as the boys tried to cover it up

"Huahhh, Lucas-hyung. Jaehyun-hyung. You must be tired. How did the meeting go?" Jeno tried to divert the conversation

"Wait, that, sounded like (Y/N). Is she napping here?" Lucas asked, trying to look around as the others blocked his view

"What? No!!! She's in your resting room" Renjun argued

"Lucas? Jaehyun? Taeyong wants us to have a quick meeting right now" everyone heard Doyoung mentioned

"Doyoung-hyung!! How did the mission go?" Xiaojun asked as Doyoung went into the room

"Not that good. Which is why Taeyong wants a meeting on our plans for the next step. C'mon, we have to go" Doyoung ranted, pulling both Lucas and Jaehyun out of the room

"Tell (Y/N) to see me in my office later!!" Lucas stated before being dragged out of the room with Jaehyun

"You got it!!" everyone muttered

"Ten-hyung, Winwin-hyung, please be quick!! Hang in there (Y/N)" Jeno mumbled as the two older men treated you

Time skip for an hour or so

"We did everything we could. She has to see him either way" Ten argued

"He's going to kill us" Hendery reasoned

"Well, you might as well tell him now before he finds out on his own. And maybe have the douche's location ready so he wouldn't lash out at you. Plus, if the both of you were there with her, he wouldn't kill you. He would never do it in front of her" Winwin stated

"They're right Hendery. We gotta tell him. At least we won't die that quickly if we tell him when (Y/N)'s with him" Xiaojun mentioned

"Alright, (Y/N), wakey wakey, let's see your boyfriend" Hendery groaned as he was about to wake you up but saw an empty bed

"UHHH!! Xiaojun?! Ten-hyung?! Winwin-hyung?! WHERE IS (Y/N)?!" Hendery panicked

"Where's Jeno and Renjun?!" Xiaojun questioned, looking back at the two older ones who shook their head

"Crap!! Hendery we gotta go, now!! Thank you for treating her!!" Xiaojun exclaimed, dragging Hendery out of the room to Lucas' office

At Lucas' office

"Hyung? Can we come in? (Y/N) is here" Renjun stated as Lucas perked from his chair

"Come on in!!!" Lucas exclaimed, ready to welcome you with a big hug especially since he already freshened up

However, Lucas was not expecting to see you still wearing the same clothing you did in the morning when he dropped you off to campus with Hendery's jacket around you. Not only that, the more he walked closer to you, the more evident the bruises on your body were. At this point, Lucas was more than ready to kill both Hendery and Xiaojun but he had to calm his nerves and take care of you first.

"(Y/N)...sweetheart, what happened? Who did this to you?" Lucas questioned, running his right thumb across your dry bloodied lip while his left hand was placed softly behind your head

"Please...please don't kill them" you managed to state, looking down from Lucas' gaze at the same time he heard loud footsteps coming to his office

"We can explain!!!" Hendery exclaimed as he and Xiaojun were panting when arriving by Lucas' doorframe

"In, both of you. Jeno, Renjun, you both can leave" Lucas stated as he brought your figure behind his desk, straddling you on his lap as Renjun and Jeno left

"Before you get mad at us. We have a good explanation" Hendery muttered

"It better be" Lucas growled but calmed down when you nuzzled your head on his neck, wrapping your arms around his broad shoulders

After some explanation, Lucas was more than furious at what happened. Was the warning towards the bastard couple not enough to inform the campus that you were off-limits? What's more was that your so-called lecturer was a regular at one of NCT's bar and even part of the businessmen that didn't fully agree to the agreement they were dealing with.

"Wow. Talk about killing two birds with one stone" Lucas chuckled, wrapping his arm firmly around your waist, making sure you wouldn't fall since you were asleep

"You're not going to kill us, right?" Hendery asked

"If you both manage to get that bastard in the bar within half an hour, I'll reconsider it. And the both of you better come as well. Now get on it and explain everything to Taeyong-hyung as well. Go." Lucas instructed and the two immediately left the office

"Love. Do you want to sleep here or back home?" Lucas softly asked, bringing your face to meet his

"Hmm? Anywhere, as long as you're there" you yawned

"Do you mind staying at the base just for tonight? I have to deal with something" Lucas mumbled, brushing your hair off your face, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead

"Don't hurt Xiaojun and Hendery, okay? They helped me. It wasn't their fault for what happened. It was also not your fault, so don't blame yourself too" you muttered, nuzzling back into Lucas' neck, inhaling his signature scent

"If that's what you want. I won't hurt them. But I can't promise for your lecturer" Lucas sighed, patting your head

"He, he hurt others as well. He deserved to be hurt too" you sighed

"Is that so? Anything for you sweetheart. Now, I'll leave you with the dreamies and under 127's supervision, is that alright?" Lucas questioned tho it was more so a statement

"Hmm. Be careful, alright? Everyone has to come back safely" you mentioned, feeling a smirk forming on Lucas' face

"Will do sweetheart. Get some rest" Lucas mumbled, kissing the side temple of your face before carrying you to the dreamies' dorm, entrusting you with Jeno and Renjun

At the bar

"She alright?" Taeyong questioned, walking into the bar with Lucas and the 'Make a Wish' unit

"Yea. Left her with the rest of the dreamies. Sorry that we had to work this late" Lucas sighed

"It's alright hyung. We won't let anyone harm our sister and gets away with it" Jaemin mentioned

"You guys actually called her sister?" Lucas chuckled

"Of course!! She's the same age as most of us, dreamies. Plus, she's so much fun to be around with" Shotaro added

"They'll pay for what they did. Just look at them" Jaehyun chuckled, opening the door to their office in the bar, revealing Xiaojun and Hendery holding the lecturer and the other businessman down

"Wow, it really is killing two birds with one stone" Lucas smirked

"You, you can't kill us. The government wouldn't allow it!!" the leader spoke

"Oh? Who said anything about killing when you're already dead" Taeyong scoffed, sitting on the chair behind the desk

"Wh, what do you mean, dead?" the lecturer stuttered

"Heh, he's all yours Lucas" Taeyong stated

"You see. The second you lay on that student today, you're already in our death note. No one. And I mean no one. Touches my queen without my permission. Especially a bastard that harms other people's queens. Oh, the things I'm going to do to you. It'll make you wish that you were actually dead" Lucas snickered, stepping on the lecturer's throat, just enough to make him suffocate to Lucas' liking

WOW. i absolutely love the character you’ve created, and every muse post, headcanon and edit proved that (those promo posters? b, the minute i finished reading your application, i said “we have our muse c!” the bio was so well thought out (and i loved the format, i thought it was beyond cute!) not only do i love harry styles, but i love jude -- and i can’t wait to see how his personality influences his character and vice versa. when writing the bones of muse c, i got a little worried because it is the type of character that can get stereotypical or unbelievable without care or thought put into it, but every detail you brought with the muse posts really solidified to me that you understand muse c. there are no doubts in my mind you’ll play this character beautifully!

mimi, reading your application i felt super excited to see what you are going to do next with gabe, and that excitement kind of mirrors his character to me! you gave me just enough to keep me guessing, but within that you gave me a strongly defined character with the little things that make a person who they are. i also really loved your take on muse d and it was exactly what i imagined. amazing job!

amanda, both(!!) of your apps were incredible. i’m heartbroken i can’t accept you for both muses honestly, because the effort that you put in was above and beyond, and i really went back and forth for a long time. however, one thing that was never in doubt was that you belong in this group, and i was ultimately so happy to accept your app for muse f! will is already such a quirky, dynamic character and his backstory was by FAR the most imaginative and original one i saw in any app. and your interpretation of muse f was spot-on! one thing that particularly struck me was the quote “james conroy is good at heart” because that’s so essential to his character, and it’s something that was missing from other apps. thank you so much for your dedication and i can’t wait to see you on the dash!

ali, this app was absolutely the most fun to read because it was so incredibly detailed and thought out. i know you said i didn’t have to read everything but i totally wanted even more! with the timelines and the family background included, i literally felt like i was reading not only about payton but about her entire universe and that made me scream because i was so excited!! what absolutely clinched your application for me was your interpretation of muse g because it was just so? right? gahhh i’m rambling but i’m so happy with this application and so excited to rp with you!

Five Foods That Can Benefit Your Health

    People struggle to eat healthy on a daily basis.  Some people forget to eat altogether because of how busy they are.  In order to reach your full potential, you cannot be limited by your body's inability to function.  Eating clean, healthy foods is the first step in bodily maintenance.  By doing so, you will be able to work towards your goals with more energy, less stress, and better health.  The best part is, healthy does not necessarily mean difficult, tasteless, or expensive.  Here are five cheap, simple, and easy to use foods that can benefit your health in the long run.

1. Garlic

     Garlic has been used medicinally for hundreds of years.  It has been said to have cancer preventative properties, be a strong prophylactic, and is filled with antioxidants.  The herb has also been known to treat and prevent cardiovascular disease, lower LDL, or bad cholesterol, and raise HDL, good cholesterol (1).  This, in turn, can prevent diseases such as atherosclerosis, the buildup of cholesterol and fats on artery walls.  Garlic can also lower blood pressure.  Clinical studies, using those suffering from high blood pressure, saw over 80% of patients’ blood pressure lower after consuming garlic for a specified amount of time (1).

     One of garlic’s most prominent antioxidants, Allicin, is known to be an anti-inflammatory.  It is also been linked to garlic’s cancer-preventing properties (1).  Because of this, eating garlic has been thought to slow, or even halt, cancer cell and tumor growth in the body.  In fact, the Designer Food Program said that garlic may be the post potent food with cancer preventative properties (1).  Allicin is produced when the garlic has been crushed or chopped, so it is important to do so if you want to receive garlic’s full benefits.

     Garlic has also been thought to treat and cure the common cold, though more research has to be done to know for sure.  However, people who have eaten garlic daily while having a cold saw their symptoms clear up within a couple of days (1).  This is no surprise considering garlic’s prophylactic nature.  In fact, garlic has been proven to be a strong antibacterial agent and can even differentiate the beneficial bacteria from the harmful bacteria in the body (1).

     It is important to note that everyone is effected by garlic differently, meaning some people may receive benefits while others do not.  However, garlic is a healthy addition to anyone’s meal preparations.  Three to four garlic cloves per day is enough to potentially receive its benefits.

      Popular among the health community, sweet potatoes are high in energy, full of fiber, and rich in vitamins and minerals.  They are a healthy alternative to regular white potatoes, because they are a slow-burning starch.  More energy is generated over time since the sweet potato takes longer to digest (2).  This is also why sweet potatoes help regulate weight gain.  Slow-burning carbohydrates do not cause insulin spikes when consumed, which can cause excess sugar to be stored as fat (9).  Its high fiber content also contributes to weight regulation, as it makes you feel fuller and less inclined to eat excessively.

     Sweet potatoes are filled with vitamins and minerals, the most prominent being vitamin A, giving its flesh an orange tint (7).  Vitamin A is important for immune health, organ function, and eyesight.  Sweet potatoes also contain vitamin C, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin B-12, all of which contribute to the development of the brain and maintenance of the body.  They are also thought to have cancer-fighting antioxidants.  So, if you are looking for a low calorie, filling, and nutritious food for your healthy arsenal, sweet potatoes are a great addition.

3. Yogurt

    Yogurt is a great choice for those looking to lose weight or a healthy snack.  Its high protein content makes it beneficial for muscle growth.  Yogurt is also an excellent source of calcium, which strengthens bones, vitamin D, vitamin B-12, and magnesium (4).  It also has riboflavin, a vitamin necessary for healthy cellular growth and functioning.  Due to its high nutrient content, yogurt has been thought to help people eat better overall.  This is most apparent when you think of the healthy foods most people eat with yogurt, such as nuts, fruit, and granola (4).  Based on this information and from different studies, some have even said eating yogurt is associated with low body weight, waist circumference, and body fat percentage.  Some yogurts also contain probiotics, which are healthy bacteria beneficial to gut health and digestion.

     It is important to check which type of yogurt you are eating, as not every yogurt is healthy.  Healthier options will have a low sugar and fat content.  Plain yogurt is the best choice overall.  Though it tastes bland, fruits, nuts, and other flavorful items can be added.  You should choose whatever yogurt fits your diet or goals.

4. Nuts

     Nuts have a reputation for having a high fat content.  Because of this, many people avoid nuts believing they are unhealthy.  However, nuts are one of the healthiest foods a person can eat and should not be overlooked.  Not only are they a good source of fiber, but nuts can also promote heart health (3).  This is due to their high calcium, magnesium, and potassium content.  They are also chocked with protein and unsaturated fats, known as good fats.  Nuts are only unhealthy when people add other items to them, such as roasting them with oil and salt, adding the bad, unsaturated fats to them.  This is why it is better to eat nuts raw, as they will be full of vitamins and minerals, maintain a low sodium content, and have little to no unsaturated fats.

     Each nut has their own similarities and differences between their counterparts.  Almonds have been known to be filled with iron, zinc, and the other minerals listed, different vitamins, such as vitamins B6 and E, protect against certain forms of cancer, increase immune system health, and lower cholesterol (8).  Walnuts contain the vitamins and minerals above plus an antioxidant which boosts immunity.  They are also thought to help people sleep better.  Pistachios are good for cardiovascular and vision health (8).  Overall, if you are going to add nuts to your diet, it is best to incorporate different types, as each one has their own unique health benefits.

5. Eggs

     Eggs are a popular breakfast food and for good reason.  An egg is one of the most inexpensive proteins you can buy, with one egg having over 6 grams of protein.  Most of the protein is found in the egg whites while most of the fat and calories are in the egg yolk.  Vitamins and minerals include; selenium, phosphorus, vitamin B2, B12, B5, A, and folate (5).  Selenium is used to create antioxidant enzymes in the body, and folate is used to make DNA.  Eggs can raise HDL cholesterol, the good cholesterol, and also have been thought to lower the risk of heart disease and stroke (6).  They are also low carb while being very filling, meaning they could regulate weight by preventing you from overeating.  Overall, the egg is a small, inexpensive food item that houses many nutritional benefits.  Nobody should overlook the egg as it is easy to get and provides essential nutrients for growth and development.

6. Retopology and UV unwrapping

From the tutor’s comment, I better deleted the ribbon because it will make my job difficult and harder. I do not want to make my life difficult, but I hide the ribbon rather than delete because I want to keep this for the future my own exercise and practice.

As I finished with modelling and mirror the mesh to create perfect finished model, I have to work out the face loops to apply the face rig in the future, so, this is now the time to do the retopology on the face.

I tried to do the retopology to the face using quad draw tool, but somehow, it was not working. I grab the faces to check is it working or not, but it was not working.

The problem in this was I follow the faces on the base mesh rather than create my own faces to creates the rings around the eyes, mouth and etc. Therefore, I started everything again.

To started again, I deleted what I have done and redo everything I have because starting from new is the best way to start rather than undo and fixing. I slowly review the YouTube tutorial video and follow all the steps.

I started drawing the ring around the eyes and mouth as a tutorial video.

I extruded the edges of the rings in Figure 5 and slowly cover the head mesh. As you can compare with Figure 2, this is now more looking right.

After all these stressful processes, I finally figured out. As you can see in Figure 7, I can now select the rings around the eyes and mouth where I need to add the rig and animate for facial expressions, but I still cannot select the faces around the head. Actually, I realised I forgot to create the ring for the headline, which means I have to do it again.

Before redoing the retopology again, I realised that eyes are not looking right, so I fixed the position of the eyes to move inside and as I change the position of the eyes, I also moved the eye wholes position as well. Now I can redo the retopology again with updated face mesh.

I was having a bit of trouble when I was doing retopology again because this was only the second time to do after the first one. The problem I was having was a similar problem I have in the first try. I can grab the rings, but I keep selecting the all around the head.  I did lots of deleting, undo and redo again and again to figure out the shape and problems. Figure 7 is the result of all the practice. This is much better retopology compare to previous meshes because I have more rings around the eyes and I can select the headline, which was not possible in the previous retopology.

I was checking my retopology in Figure 7 with the tutors, it also had the problem that I need to fix, but this was the best retopology I have done by myself, so I have no idea how and what to fix because if I do it again, I was pretty sure it will not look very different with the previous one. Therefore, I asked for help and I had a consultation with one of the tutors to help me to understand how to do the retopology and what I need to do to get a better result. As always, before we started work, we went to the Pinterest site to find the reference images so I can understand easily.

They are all the researches we have done. We were focused on anime character head rather than real human face as my model is designed in anime character style. By looking at those various reference images, it helped me to understand what and how I need to retopology, but I still have a problem with building retopology myself. Therefore, he showed me how to do and what I need to be careful about.

This is the retopology I have done with his instructions and helps. He showed and told me that the faces need to be in similar size as much as possible except the eyes, mouth, nose and anywhere there need the detail. I did not know that the size of each face has to be in a similar size that's why all my previous retopology were not looking clean and nice as Figure 16. He also told me that I have to build the eyes, nose, mouth and headline first so I can have the rings for the face rigging. He also showed me how to figure out the five angels and various things I did not know, therefore, I was able to reach to the improved result compared to all the previous retopology.

This is the final looks of the mesh. I also told me to use soften edges if I want to soften looking model. I learnt various knowledge from him. He helped me and taught me the way to solve my problem and improve.

This was a seriously hard process. I did lots of mistakes and have various problems I could not solve. This was a really challenging process that I do not want to do it ever again, but I also want to try this again after this assessment finish.

I moved on to the UV unwrapping after finished with retopology.

Before starting UV unwrapping, my meshes are separated, so I have to combine them to keep them as one mesh. When I combined them, I also have to move the pivot because sometime it goes to somewhere different rather than the centre of the grid and character. Now, I am ready to UV unwrap the character.

It became like Figure 20 when I unfold the UV unwrap without doing any cut and saw process. This UV unwrap is not right, so I have to do the cut and saw process for texture and everything.

This is the After I cut and saw the mesh. The white lines show where and how I cut.

When I was finished with cut ans saw process, I have to unfold the UV and layout automatically. However, as you can see in Figure 22, they layout randomly, which makes hard me to texture them.

Therefore, I moved on to layout them manually, and during this process, I also change its’ size to get similar size of the faces showing in left handside in Figure 23, so I will not have low and high resolution texture for each parts.

The UV unwrapping was not hard as I am used to UV unwrap, however, the retopology was the hardest process in this part. I have not done the retopology before and I was not fully understand the knowledge of how to build retopology. It was possible to improve until this level by getting help from tutor and the researches I have done.

Prompt: So not really a prompt, I was on Pinterest and I looked up fanfiction prompts and this popped up from a user who I can’t find the account of… Anyways reader jumps on the back of who she thought was her best friend in public but ends up quickly realizing her mistake.

Note: I’m so sorry this took forever and a day to give all you lovely readers but life gets in the way and I had some stuff to get through first. So, after some help from a really good friend I’m pleased to present Part V! I’m not caught up on Season 13 yet so that’s why it’s not keeping up with the show. Hope you enjoy.

Your face was on fire, more accurately all of you was on fire. You wanted to step back, distance yourself, but you couldn’t bring yourself to do it. In fact you found yourself inching closer to him again. He’d commented on the shirt you were wearing, you hadn’t known it was his but somehow that felt right and made it just a little bit better to be wearing. Wearing his shirt and being in his arms was comfortable, almost too comfortable, but you were so distracted being this close to him you didn’t realize the trouble you were in.

Dean let his hands rest on your lower back, just underneath the shirt, holding you against him. It was taking everything he had not to take his shirt off of you, but he didn’t think he was ready for that yet. There was something about you that drove him crazy. He didn’t know what he was feeling, he was concerned by that alone. He was usually so sure of himself, he was cocky and he knew it. He’d always been able to figure his route out with women, he knew what they liked before they told him, but with you he was blinded. Maybe it’s because of how similar the two of you were but he didn’t like that he didn’t know his way with you. He didn’t like that he felt like he was stumbling through the dark trying to understand you, to understand himself.

The heavy steel door opening pulled you away from Dean. He stepped to the side while you opened the hood of Stang back up. You had absolutely nothing in your hands so you walked to the driver’s side and got into the car. Perhaps if you pretended you had just tweaked something Sam wouldn’t get suspicious. You turned the key in the ignition and listened to the whining engine, your heart broke just a little bit more.

“Whoa, that doesn’t sound too good,” Sam said, coming to a stop next to Dean.

You got out of the car and almost slammed the door but remembered it wasn’t the car you frustrated with, not really anyways. “All because we just had to take the Impala. Stang knew I was leaving him behind.” You watched Dean roll his eyes and Sam chuckle.

“Well, I’d love to encourage you finishing this but I’m getting nowhere on this research thing and it’s closing in on midnight. We should all really get some sleep.”

You thought about how you’d only gotten an hour of sleep, all the driving that had been done, and all of the emotions you’d run through; yeah, perhaps sleep was a good idea. You closed the hood and followed the boys into the winding halls. You reached your room and waved goodnight, ignoring the look Dean was giving you.

“Goodnight (Y/N/N),” Sam said.

“Night, Sam, Dean.”

“(Y/N) you got a minute?” Dean asked.

Sam stared between the two of you and shook his head. Something was off with you, he could tell right away, but he didn’t want to get in the middle of it. If past experience was any indication Sam knew not to get involved when it came to you and boys. He gave you a nod and walked off.

“I’m kind of going off of one hour of sleep here, plus we’ve had a really long day, so I’d really like to go to bed.”

Dean watched Sam round the corner and disappear down the hall before stepping closer to you. He lifted a hand and cupped your face. “I just wanted to give you a proper goodnight.” Dean bent down and kissed you.

The kiss was soft, gentle. You melted into him, bracing yourself with your hands against his chest. The heat radiated through his shirt, bringing you closer. He leaned over you and you arched your back, your head brushed the door behind you and for one fleeting moment you considered inviting him in. The minute that thought crept into your brain you pushed it out and him away.

“What?” He whispered.

“I can’t,” you said, shaking your head. “We should get some sleep.”

Dean dropped his lips to yours once more before backing down the hall. “Not something we can keep avoiding.”

You shut yourself in your room and locked your door. You crawled onto your bed and curled up on your side, touching your lips with your finger tips. Was it really possible to feel this strong of a connection with someone this fast?

It had been almost two weeks since Sam took out the new vamp and you’d had no leads. The clan was staying quiet, they knew hunters were onto them. If Sam hadn’t taken that vamp out then maybe, just maybe you’d have been able to get somewhere with this clan. However, if it had been almost two weeks since killing the vamp that also meant it had been almost two weeks since Dean had kissed you.

You’d kept yourself scarce. You were finally able to get Stang running so you took him outside to work a lot while Dean stayed in the garage. If Dean was helping Sam study, you ran errands or studied in your room. Any excuse to not have to spend periods of time with Dean. You wanted to desperately but this wasn’t the time for distractions. Of course every once in awhile you worked with the two of them together, as long as Sam was around you felt better, but you were still too nervous to hang out with Dean for too long.

Today happened to be one of those days where you found yourself in the library working with Dean and Sam. You were on a laptop while the boys poured over books.

“This is getting ridiculous!” Sam said, slamming a book shut and pushing back from the table in the library.

You glanced up from the laptop. “Maybe you pissed her off so she’s in hiding.” You went back to scrolling through the search results. You were about to give up as well but you came across a link to a story about seven girls who had gone missing. You opened it and read through. The women had been missing for a couple days now, families were asking for any information, all the same. Nothing that sounded like what you were hunting but it was just odd enough that you spun the laptop around and showed it to the guys.

“So what,” Dean said after reading through the article.

“Seven girls in the past three days, that doesn’t strike you as odd?” When Dean just shrugged you turned to Sam. “Sam, come on.”

“She’s right, let’s grab our bags and head out.”

“What about the case we were already on?”

“It’s been dead for two weeks,” you said, standing up. “Now, I don’t know about you, but I’d rather go and make sure more women don’t disappear than sit around chasing nothing.” You left the two of them to go pack your bag. It was going to be a long drive, close to eight hours to get to Waterloo, but if it meant you’d actually be doing something you knew it would be worth it.

Sam watched Dean check the trunk of Baby. He’d been quiet since you left to go pack your bag. He dropped his duffel, a little bit rougher than necessary before walking to the driver’s door and yanking it open. Sam set his duffle in the trunk and waited for you. He flinched when Dean pulled his door shut, but quickly relaxed when he saw you walk in looking happier than you had the last couple weeks. He waited for you to drop your stuff in the trunk before he closed it. He opened the passenger door and looked at you waiting.

“No, go ahead, this is a longer drive,” you said, opening the rear passenger door.

You sat down and leaned against the closed door. You rested your head against the window, ignoring Dean. Maybe if you were lucky you would fall asleep.

You awoke on a mattress, the moonlight shining through the partially closed shades. You stretched your arms out and twisted until you were laying on your back. A soft snore had you looking next to you and you found Sam on the other bed. You looked towards the floor quickly, searching for Dean, cursing yourself for caring at all. You could barely make out his shadow but there he was, one arm across his chest and another under his head. You saw his fingers drumming and knew he was awake. Glancing at the spot next to you you shook your head and sat up.

“Dean?”

Dean glanced at you, “Oh, hey, (Y/L/N). What are you doing up?”

“I slept most of the car ride, what are you doing up?”

“Just,” Dean adjusted, mumbled, “can’t sleep.”

“Look, if you can promise to keep your hands to yourself I will let you sleep up here.”

“I’ve done a pretty good job of that these past two weeks.”

“Fine. Sleep on the floor.” You laid back down, on your side, facing Sam. You listened to the shuffling on the ground and then you felt the bed dip beside you. Your insides tightened and then fluttered. You turned and faced him, he was laying on his back, arm behind his head and arm crossed over his chest, just like on the floor.

“Roll back over (Y/L/N).”

“I didn’t give you my last name so you could stop using my first name.”

Dean looked at you, grinned. “Right, but it’s just so much fun.”

You dropped on your back and wished you could scoot away from him. The heat was radiating off of him, it was enticing. You felt him shift and then his arm was next to yours, his hand mere inches from yours. You stretched your pinky out, touching his with the same pressure as a feather. Within seconds his hand engulfed yours and you closed your eyes, fighting all of the nerves in you.

“Dean-”

“(Y/N/N),” Dean whispered.

You turned your head and found Dean’s bright green eyes, highlighted by the moonlight, staring at you. “We can’t.”

“We’re not doing anything.”

You moved closer, slightly angling yourself towards him. “What about Sam?”

“What about him?”

“You’re his brother, I’m his best friend, isn’t there some line we’d be crossing?”

“We have to do what’s best for us.”

“And if I don’t know what that is?”

“Well, then I guess we’ll have to figure that out together.” Dean brought his free hand up to cup your face and he brought his lips to yours.

You melted into this kiss, you pulled your hand free and moved on top of Dean. His hands moved to your waist and you cupped your face in his hands. The heat was moving between the two of you, something you don’t remember ever happening with anyone else before. You were in too deep, but this time you just couldn’t pull away. You fell deeper as your tongue met his, then he nipped at your lip and small moan escaped your lips. Your breathing was ragged and you dropped your mouth back on his.

Dean pulled away, pulling you to his chest. He dropped a kiss to the top of your head. “We need to stop before we wake up Sam.”

“Well, Sam isn’t always going to be here.” You kissed his neck and then curled into his chest.

TaiYama Week 2017, Day 4: Fan corner. Talk/share about fan created content you enjoy!

For me, I’ve always preferred to watch AMVs over reading fanfiction and those are what I look for first after I’ve fallen in love with a ship. It’s also one of the few AMVs on my list that does not include any shots from Tri as it was made many years before Tri’s announcement and all of the shots are very well edited together.
