Small but significant character moments that I actually really adore are from both the times we see the boys as tots. There is a reoccurrence that happens in both of them that I find so incredibly interesting.

For the turtle tot short, Splinter leaves the boys with weapons. In the short, Raph is the one who suggests they do “what Lou Jitsu would do” and Leo is the one who takes point when Splinter comes back to reprimand them. Leo, in taking point, is the one to defend them and get Splinter off their tails.

And then, in the flashback regarding the Kuroi Yōroi helmet, Raph is the one who grabs and throws “Skully” as a way to replace their missing ball which breaks it into pieces, but Leo is the one who speaks for the group and rushes into action to fix the teapot.

I love this for multiple reasons, but the biggest are how it shows that Raph has always been inclined toward the bold and fun and making the plans to include his brothers in what he loves and believes they’d love, whereas Leo has always been inclined to be the “Face” of the group and shoulder the attention even if it’s potentially negative all while coming up with on the spot attempts to fix the situation.

Honestly I don’t follow jjk anymore. But last I heard was that gojo apparently described death as a relief and release. Man Solas didn't deserve Felassan.

It's such a sign of maturity and love that there's no inkling of Felassan's personal feelings towards Mythal here. There's subtext, I think, that Felassan realizes Solas' take on Mythal is incorrect, but there's no judgment from him.

I think it's clear from Felassan's notes, scenes, and the type of friend he was to Briala, that Felassan was the best kind of friend anyone could have, especially someone like Solas. He understands Solas' love for Mythal without judgment, jealousy, or resentment. Felassan must've been like a balm during the rebellion. Someone who loves and understands unconditionally, while Solas was struggling with this abusive, codependent, and terribly conditional relationship he had with Mythal.

Solas' worst betrayal was of Felassan. The betrayals of Mythal, the Forgotten Ones, the Inquisition, Rook & co., etc. etc., were in furtherance of his cause or because they were adversaries. His logic behind each is clear, though some are more justifiable than others (he didn't betray Mythal by rebelling regardless of how she wants to paint that picture, but that's another post that's incoming lol).

But Felassan did nothing more than beg his friend to show mercy on an entire world. He didn't turn over the eluvians because he knew what Solas would do with them - mass destruction. And Solas, acting the petty, capricious god, killed him for it.
