Operation Octo Hidey Item: ‘I Voted’ Sticker. Even tiny, shy Octo!Cas is getting out there and voting this year. Happy Election Day 2020, everybody--please get out there and vote if you’re eligible for the US election! (We’re trying to find Octo!Cas a new hidey item since he lost his favorite, an Easter egg. You can suggest items at the link in the title! ♥)

This year’s U.S election is even more crucial than ever. If you are eligible to vote, and haven’t already done so, I encourage you to cast your voice for the future of this country. Here is a great resource for first time voters.
And if you can’t vote for any reason, here is a bunch of things you can do to be a hero! Together, we can fight injustice!

((( 2020 ballots have been mailed in Washington state.
((( I received, completed, delivered, and verified receipt of my ballot in the greater Seattle area. Biden-Harris all the way, baby!
((( We must get up, stand up, stand up for our rights -- by voting and holding county clerk officials and volunteers to count all votes completely and accurately! )))
+ With early voting underway across the United States and Americans casting ballots by mail at historic numbers, nearly 30 million have already voted with two weeks to go before Election Day, according to a tally by political scientist Michael McDonald of the University of Florida. That represents more than a fifth of the total turnout in 2016.
+ Even as Americans are turning out in record numbers, many of the rules governing which ballots will be counted and when are still the subject of political and legal wrangling.

Salty Pirate, Day Two
I improved my domicile by scrubbing the stove, getting trash and dirty laundry off the bedroom floor, and spending ten minutes tidying my bedroom desk. I also put the bedroom back together after recording a video (getting a good take on a three-minute song is tiring, and I could easily have left the bedroom a mess tonight).
I listened to an episode of Reading Glasses while I worked!
Selfie under the cut. I did my hair and makeup for the video, so I figured I should take a few photos for FB before I washed it all off.
Yes, this doofus face is something I tried to look like. It’s even worse with bedhead and no makeup. (I knew by the time I turned thirteen that I had to go the way of the class clown if I was going to be thought well of at all.)
