Trying to draw some more anime style art after a very long time. Here are my OCs Graham (calm one) and Denley (anxious one.) They're plant guys.

Had this idea for a felt marker 4 panel comic. Getting struck by lightning won't hurt Billy Batson, but to bystanders it looks...concerning?

My sweet little part plant OCs, Graham and Denley. Denley has a lot of anxiety, and Graham—the calmest, chillest guy ever—is his rock. (More about Graham and Denley here.)

Drawing!

I think it's been literal years since I did an "I'm online and drawing right now, feel free to send me asks and keep me company!" message, but here we are. I'm trying to chill with my headphones on and draw some cute chibis.

Maybe merfolk? Maybe some giant and tiny. I miss them.

In which Cas is "cursed" to be a catperson instead of an angel.

Graham loves new experiences, so he'd be all for it, but Denley might take more convincing. (If Graham is there, he'll probably be okay, though!)

Just a couple of plant guys who are roommates. Whatever panics anxious Denley usually fascinates curious Graham. They’re from a fictional world, but culture, accents, appearances for them are basically Japanese for Graham and British for Denley (plus, you know, plants.)

Some info about these plant babies (beloved OCs of mine for over a decade):

Denley gets cold easily, and usually is bundled in warm clothes.

Graham is almost always barefoot.

Once a year, a big pink flower grows on top of Denley’s head. It freaks him out, but eventually falls off and he’s back to normal again.

When Denley’s old enough to actually grow a beard, it’ll be cactus needles.

Graham turns orangey in the Fall, and is usually slow and sleepy.

Both of these guys love to sit under heat lamps.

Graham is always reading about new things (often reading them to Denley aloud.)

Graham was created the way he is in a lab and raised by a couple of (gay) scientists, who eventually grew a conscience about using their “son” for lab experiments and sneaked him out of the high security lab he was raised in. One was shot and killed in the process, and the other raised Graham for several years before the group found them. He sacrificed himself to distract them, and Graham managed to escape.

Graham’s cat-like pupils are from a teeny tiny bit of reptile genes that were added to him.

Denley was a normal guy ‘til age 13, when he was abducted by the ruthless military group who controls most of the globe and turned into a human lab subject. He was a pretty outgoing kid who planned to be a lawyer before the ordeal.

After escaping the lab, Graham joined up with a rebel group dedicated to fighting the human lab experimentation and global control of the other larger group. They also conducted raids on known labs and saved people who were being experimented on.

Denley was saved from a lab in one such raid. 

Graham took up living in the hospital to be Denley’s roommate, since he’s also part plant and Denley could learn from him. Graham’s very calm, positive personality also helped soothe Denley’s anxious and flighty self.

After Denley recovered from the lab ordeal, they were inseparable, and they still live together.
