Hey so imagine for a sec that the le series is all in the canon timeline and then comes the shibuya incident

So my question is would gojo lie to the reader that there is no mission in shibuya to go to or that the reader isnt needed there, since he has a gut feeling that something might not be right ? (Since they didnt know it was going to be this tragic) which would lead to the canon events of the manga where gojo is sealed and half of the characters died and as the news breaks out the reader is shocked and betrayed and maybe feels a bit of survivor's guilt aswell....?

And then theres also the higher ups who take this opportunity to hurt the reader like how they killed mr yaga and the reader is trying to keep herself and the baby safe while being worried for sealed gojo

he can’t hide it from the reader that there’s a mission in shibuya bc all jujutsu sorcerers are summoned—but he certainly will convince her to stay home, warns the higher ups not to interfere and downplays the entire shitshow so she will let him go. in 2018, their baby is one year old, so he has enough reasons to convince the reader to not join the fray and protect their baby🤧

and needless to say, when gojo is sealed, everything turns to hell. he’s branded a traitor and ofc the reader is on the run too☹️ megumi will always look after her but her life has turned upside down by this turn of events—and not to mention her son would often cry and looks for papa, and that’s when she’ll cry too😭

i kind of mentioned in a post under the spoiler tag yesterday, but i write harley a few different ways - sometimes he’s more bitter, sometimes he’s naturally kind and warm but chooses to have hardened edges because of daddy issues and such, sometimes he’s a literal ray of sunshine, etc etc etc. it depends on the fic and the circumstances and such, but there are some key consistencies like i try to keep throughout all the versions of harley i write:

he sees the best in people, even when he doesn’t trust them. he wants to believe in the good of people, but he also knows there are lines that, once they’ve been crossed, that person becomes irredeemable in his eyes. and, of course, in terms of him and peter, he looks at peter and he recognizes just how good peter is, even when peter can only see the bad in himself. among other things.

because like. i wrote this drabble/prompt fill once, like literally years ago, i think it’s still under my writing tag i can try to find it in a little bit, but the prompt was like angel/demon au and instead of doing a full on au, i kind of compared them to angelic and demonic elements, in the sense that peter is inherently darker and angrier but actively chooses to be bright and good, whereas harley is inherently sunshine and gentleness but actively chooses to be harsher and sharper, and i think harley can look at peter and recognize that peter is not only a good person, but he is actively and continuously putting the effort into being a good person while believing full heartedly that he isn’t.

on monday after my meeting with my professor i went to my second favourite single stall washroom and sat on the floor and cried until a janitor came and kicked me out. the meeting actually wasn’t so bad but the second my prof mentioned a potential deferred grade i think all of my shambles of self confidence and perceptions of capability broke ☹️ rethinking my whole career and all my life

last semester i was in a bus crash, the semester before that i fell on an escalator and injured my knee so badly that it still hurts even now. i was bleeding through my jeans at the station and there was no one around to help me. i tried calling my family and none of them answered.

i feel so alone and like bad things will just keep happening no matter what i do. i’ve never taken a break from school and i feel so exhausted and burnt out and i’m sick of everything and afraid to go on the train and afraid to go on the bus and afraid to go up the fucking escalator 😭 inwardly i really don’t feel like i can finish this semester but if i don’t do this then right now i have nothing else going for me

He’s constantly rude to both Lorelai and Christopher (who did get married at sixteen in this) and Richard and Emily. Jessica Danes, however, may be off putting what with the spiky green hair. But she’s polite and kind, always helps out at her uncles diner unprompted and she’s very close to Dean Forester who is still the perfect boyfriend. Now Lorelai’s gotta figure out what’s real and what’s not real.

Oooh, these are interesting! And both are ripe for drama lol.

This one would definitely bring more dysfunctional family drama to the table. Poor Lorelai! Like being a teen mom to twins wouldn’t be hard enough without losing one of them. ☹️ Grieving the loss of one child while trying to raise the other only to discover your own mother sent him away? Oof. I don’t think Emily could ever be forgiven for that one. Possibly not even by Richard. I could see Emily doing that while at her worst if the doctor diagnosed Jess with a potential medical issue/disability that she thought would be a burden and tarnish the Gilmore family name.

This one would have more interpersonal drama (Also, aahhhh LAURIE!!! My Little Women-loving heart! 🥺💖). This is probably the direction my brain would have gone - a bit of a gender-swap scenario. But I like yours better, because it has more interesting added changes than mine would have had. I like that Christopher would be more involved in the story, and I think the Laurie/Lane/Paris love triangle would be to die for! 🥰 (I take it this would mean that Laurie’s also a good student who made it into Chilton?) I love the sound of Jessica. That would have a two-fold appeal for me, because I’m slightly in the Dean/Jess shipping camp, and Jessica bears some resemblance to a girl I’ve imagined Dean meeting/developing feelings for in a ‘Dean stayed in college and never married Lindsay’ au. Now, when you say “Lorelai’s gotta figure out what’s real and not real” - is that in a Twilight Zone/Inception sense, or would it just be a really vivid dream, like the one she had about being pregnant with Luke’s twins?
