So, I was really good today
I went to the gym this morning! I got some solid work in (my body was very fatigued, though. I feel like it’s mostly because I’m still getting over whatever ick is in my body rn, but it’s cool.)
I’m stoked that this is part of my lifestyle now. I crave going to the gym. I actually get pretty antsy when it gets close to gym time. Or if I can’t go, I’m just straight up, MIFFED.
It’s about time, though. I’ve only been wanting this for YEARS, but divine timing or whatever.
—insert subject change here. talkin about drugs—
Oh hello there
Wow, I’m gonna have WAY too much fun with THIS
Okay, welcome to my TED talk about my first time microdosing! I’m doing it to just feel elevated, more creative, etc. there are plenty of benefits, I’m safe, it’s all good. Anyway, now that the preface is out of the way, I will unload all the shit you don’t care about! :)
So far it’s been quite pleasant. I haven’t had a lot of brain chatter
I’m so distracted I’m ngl, I’m listening to Loathe and it’s incredible. This is fucking lit.

one of the worst things in the world is that feeling unloveable can (and will) make you act in ways that reinforces itself. I feel unloveable so I don’t respond to messages so people reach out less so I feel unloveable. one of the hardest things in the world is fighting back the brain demons long enough to break the cycle

there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

Me before completing the forest temple: okay I get that ocarina of time is fun and nostalgic for people but it’s a bit of a stretch to call it one of the greatest video games of all time
Me after completing the forest temple: By revealing that Link is not a Kokiri, but a Hylian, the game effectively strips him of his humble origins amongst a group of people that already fail to recognize him in his adult form. Thus, kokiri village instantly becomes a location that is no longer Link’s home in any sense, exacerbated by the fact that the game now loads up in the temple of time instead of Link’s bedroom— he is a stranger in the only place that has ever been familiar to him and he is depressingly reduced to his destiny alone. However, the subsequent introduction of the time travel mechanic, which allows the player to travel from the horrific apocalyptic future back to the idyllic past of Link’s childhood, gives new meaning to the idea of this “destiny”. In effect, Link is not a stock “chosen one”, but a protagonist who consciously decides to fight onwards. Link’s dual existence as a child who knows the grim future and as an adult who was powerless to stop disaster gives a sort of desperation to his character, because while it brings the player relief to revisit the Castle Town that is populated by cheerful villagers instead of lurking zombies, the story can only be progressed through the acknowledgement of reality — the decision to make those seven years pass again. Therefore, both the player and Link as a character must be proactive in their heroism and make the conscious choice to struggle onwards despite the darkness that permeates—

Prompt 310
Shadow core Danny? Shadow core Danny with Hazmat AU? Indeed, with a hint of a twist.
See that hazmat helmet beneath the hood? Yeah that’s erm, that might be his actual face now. It might be able to split open into a proper maw, as he found out during one of the early fights. He thinks it might be a shadow-core thing though, because Fright Knight has something similar, along with the Keeper. Who's apparently a ghost that keeps track of other shadow-ghosts, which, cool. Cool library covered in flesh, nothing spooky there.
He mentions this? Because apparently even if all ghosts partially feed on emotions, shadow cores need Fear the most. Which, thankfully shadow cores are apparently more rare than he’d expect, so he’s not going to go into a territorial frenzy or something on a bad day, yay!
But uh, he might… count as a ghostling since he’s only a year dead- in fact he’ll continue to be as such until he’s at least 100 years dead, since he didn’t die as an adult. Which in turn… means he needs even more fear, at least until he’s old enough to generate it on his own.
So what’s a ghostling to do? Take a trip to one of the most fear-soaked cities in the world, y’know, just a little weekend trip every month. Gotham isn’t that bad, and he can stay invisible- mostly! What’s going to happen, he run into a vigilante? Ha… oh no.

If you’ve ever written anything and posted it here: thank you.
Thank you for sharing your talent, for entertaining us, for making us laugh and cry and giggle and kick our feet.
You might not think your 500 word drabble about Bakugo drinking a black americano while making googly eyes at the barista meant anything, but it did. It made someone smile, brightened someone’s day…
To those who write long fic and series’, I know it can be tiring, but there are people out there that return to your fic over and over again just to feel the emotions you’ve given them and to spend more time in your world, to cherish it…
I know it can be hard when the whole world sounds quiet when you’ve just poured your soul out and posted it; but I’m here to say, it matters, it matters so fucking much.
Fic writers are truly stunning creatures - who pour themselves into their work and offer it up for free. So yeah, thank you.
