how’d you come up with the one month gap between leo and donnie and follow-up q is that consistent throughout all your works or just cc

the thought process between the one month gap was trying to kind of compromise between the canon intention of them not being twins & having a "small but relevant" gap in ages, and the pretty much universally accepted fanon concept of them being twins of choice and putting a lot of emphasis on that in their relationship.

in the case of cc and the dynamic i wanted to lay out between them, i think them having a noticeable gap and leo compromising by moving down to be on donnie's level instead of donnie moving up is meant to say a lot about their dynamic and how he cares for him in this universe,,, but its not what i stick to in every interpretation!

there's kind of baggage to leo calling donnie a little brother in cc (if he acknowledges at all, he's probably gonna be going with "baby twin" lmaoo. raph and mikey will, but donnie only thinks of leo as older when he's lumping him in with raph) but he does in coming undone and enhancements. for cu's universe in particular i see it as something they've always just accepted/something splinter came up with, but leo holds like. the very tiny gap of time he has over donnie's head lmao. in cvd i think it comes up less, they're just kind of on the same level always unless leo wants to make a joke, and in kickback very early on leo specifically mentions having ten minutes on him-- they're fraternal twins there because donnie is trans, but regardless i also dont understand the thought process with making them identical tbh (i think the looking into a mirror concept could be more metaphorical, which might be more meaningful). in wwww the amount of time leo has over donnie is never planning to be specified, but draxum acknowledges him as "the oldest" and never calls them twins so it was probably a compromise like in cc lol.

and for the villain au i havent decided yet, because that one's been weighing on me for a bit,,,, if i plan on incorporating something like that, i'll want to use it very purposefully like i did in cc because it would add to the tragedy.

So after that post above, I've wanted to draw two chibis ( Not other Pokemon came to mind. Hence the post saying Eevee or Mew. I don't know who else could be a contender tbh ). And Well I love both xD. Internet still down, so apologies for the photo being through mobile ;-;

Tough to decide which to go for to use as a base for the enormous batch. Mean... I could do TWO enormous batches ( Not back to back ) 🤔. But that still doesn't help with the decision of who to go first.

Ps. I should note that, the reason I decided upon Mew and Eevee ( Sadly brain is blank on anyone else ) as contenders, is because they are both popular Pokemon in the adopt sphere and that, in my opinion, feels more easier to have ideas when implementing what Pokemon to put as fusion as onto them ;u;. Like... They are small and yet I have a much easier time on what to put with the Pokemon they are fused with >w<. It's why, in the past, I had a lot more larger selection when I made both Eevee and Mew adopts!

Pss. Once I do create the enormous batch of either, should I stick with the USD minimum to being $10, lower it to $5, or have it be in the middle of $7 🤔? Note that they are not set prices. Only minimum set of how low a person can offer. This does not 100% mean that they would be accepted right away!

If there biolagicly Raph's children what are there powers in the future

Rosie and Momo are definitely Raph's bio kids (though in technicality, they might be closer to altered clones than descendants, but that's sort of expected considering they were stolen from Bishop's lab.)

I'm not entirely sure what their individual ninpo's would be. I know they both inherit Raph's ability to have a human form. It develops when they're about 6 or 7. Momo has more trouble controlling it b/c his anxiety causes him to shift to human without intending it often. He ends up being in human form quite a bit more than Rosie as a result.

Whatever their ninpos are going to be, they're probably going to be either similar or tied together in some way do to the way they were created. (Bishop tried to create them without mutagen but the mutagen is the only thing keeping the originals together. So when it was clear that Rosie and Momo wouldn't make it on their own, he mutated them with eachother's dna so the mutagen would stabilize them without adding a completely random fourth dna strand to the mix.)

Your ocs, out of all of them, which did you have the most fun creating? I have a lot of ocs and could spend HOURS talking ab them ugh

honestly it's the ones i barely talk abt that i've enjoyed making the most!! if i had to pick it would be between cassiel and shura, and that's less bc of them as characters and more the environment in which they thrive (??)

not to suddenly start talking abt psychology but i've always been more on the side of nurture in the nature vs nurture argument, ppl are largely a product of their experiences and surroundings, and that impact starts from a vv small scale (idk if i'd go as far as to agree w/ locke's tabula rasa view tho) so when it comes to my ocs, i really like building worlds for them and seeing how it impacts the pre-proposed personalties that i've decided on — does it change anything? how, and to what extent?

w/ cassiel and shura, they're both placed in abo aus, that are approached from different perspectives. cassiel is an alpha in an alpha-dominated society, and his darling is the same as him. whereas shura is an omega in an omega-dominated society, and his darling is not. does it impact the way they understand and feel love? have they been socialised into certain beliefs and behaviours, and is that smth they can recognise and tackle if they need to? when we bring factors of their biology and instincts ('nature') into the equation, to what degree does it make a difference?

now i'm not here to waffle abt my entire thought process while making them, but ig those are some of the reasons why i've had fun when doing so!! also being able to talk abt your ocs is super beneficial to the creative procedure imo, so i absolutely support you in that✨️

It's my rest day so not doing much in the garden except checking on things and some light harvesting. Pulled a few Pink Beauty radishes to give the dill and cilantro a little more room. The chickens went nuts over them (unfortunately I don't like radishes no matter how tasty they look).

I did get a second harvest of Chinese broccoli today, enough for a side serving for dinner.

The tomatillos are already flowering and it's a bit comical how different the flowers are between the two varieties. Not sure if cross-pollination for fruit production is going to work. I'm down to four plants now--a cutworm or something took out the fifth seedling at the soil line. The squirrels stole all the fruit last year (after the flea beetles tried to wipe out the seedlings) so I was hoping to get some fruit this year.

Speaking of squirrels, interrupted one trying to dig up all my Chires Baby corn on the front porch. So now those two containers have the top part of a guinea pig cage protecting them. It killed one nasturtium and damaged two corn seedlings (we'll see if they recover). There's still plenty for pollination, though these are meant to be harvested in the baby stage. Might let one or two ears mature for seed, but I do still have enough from last year so we'll see.

In good news the Mammoth Russian sunflowers and sweet annie are doing really well. I did transplant the extra sunflower seedlings (four) from the direct sowing part to their own spots in my greed to keep all of them instead of thinning. I'm putting the pots over those at night, but leaving the foot tall ones (and the sweet annie) exposed now. So far so good...

Passionfruit vine is returning! It's in the new strawberry bed in back and I'll be able to direct the vines to climb up the sunchokes and fence panel trellis in the adjacent bed.

I'm also surprised to see just how much wild white aster reseeded in the side yard. The bees are going to love this in the early fall.

In propagation news, one of two French tarragon cuttings has taken, which is fantastic. Just doubled my gain from the one plant I had to purchase this year. Will get this into it's own terracotta pot and into the cold frame soonish.

But also having success with the other cuttings. Took their little humidity-raising baggies off yesterday. Two of the pineapple sage (front) look great, one is struggling. All cuttings of Thai Sweet basil (rear two pots) are doing fantastic. I have found that this variety of basil is really yummy in scrambled eggs, so I plan on a few more rounds of cuttings to keep it going through the season.

And finally the cardinal climber I sowed last week is up. I think I'll transplant it to grow up the wire fence trellis in front when it's ready, one for each end to spread towards the middle.
