I wanna try this One Word Sketch thing that's going around.

Heavy emphasis on T R Y.

My art muses have seemingly completely abandoned me. I feel nothing for (my own) art right now, so this could go anywhere between two extremes. One: It could help me spark my mojo back to life. Or two: I could just get no ideas and this flops majorly.

So, I'm thinking of doing it a wee bit different; Others are doing future sketches, but I want to throw in the past as well. AND, if you want to select a character, you're welcome to!

Meaning, my rules are such; 1: Give me a single word, preferably in my inbox, and I'll t r y to doodle something for it. 2: You may specify a character for the word, as well if it's past or future. The less specific it is, the more I'll take it into my own hands. (Keep in mind there may be a chance that certain words don't work with certain characters.)

Whether I do any given word is up to the amount of inspiration I feel, just as a heads up. Really hoping it's more than nothing. Being museless is EXTREMELY frustrating. ;w;

I'll keep this open until I say I'm done with it, lol.

His alternate, 'human' form would be strongly based off of Yuji still, but with some differences.

(I've kinda drawn that as well, but I can definitely imagine it not exactly being clearly explained lol)

For one, he's significantly taller than Yuji (at least for now, the kid is most likely gonna grow to be not as much shorter lol) - although he can be shorter.

He usually isn't much 'shorter', because it's more comfortable - any much lower and it'd feel a bit like a too-tight shirt, but for your whole body lol

('down' to 6~ft/182~cm (wherein he usually stays at 6.4-5ft/193-195~cm) is the min. of proper comfiness)

He also wears earrings (I usually imagined some simple black ones, but he could just as well wear something Hello Kitty related lol (both for the Meme and just because) or just cute, or more colourful), and his left eyebrow has two slits - to kinda connect him visually to his Big Form heh

(I'm kinda contemplating adding some other things but yeah that's the bigger things heh)

And, although usually he only has these whilst in the Bigg form, he can have four arms, stomach mouth, and such whilst 'small' as well - but yeah, that's not exactly something that'd be useful/possible to use in public 😂

As shown in Chapter 2 of Visuals (although it is a different timeline, SIkuna is SIkuna lol), he can sometimes forget to close his secondary eyes, especially at the beginning of the Separation or when kinda mentally tired - it's just much more natural for them to be open

Some random person is more likely to assume they imagined it or he just had good cosplay than actual four eyes though, so hey at least there's that saving him

Not to mention interference from the kids he's likely hanging out with lol, Nobara is a quick-thinking Queen when her older familial figure is being a dum-dum and forgoring 💀 how to Human properly and we love her for it 👏

Since I imagine her dragging SIkuna out for clothes shopping relatively often, perhaps with other kids as well - and SIkuna doesn't mind it at all, he loves actively participating in the kids' hobbies 🥺 - she probably had to cover for his spookiness and such quite often lmao, even if he tries his best 😂

He is very respectful and polite to any workers they might encounter during their shopping though (well, assuming they aren't being unreasonably rude themselves but that's rare, especially in Japan I'd imagine), so fortunately even despite his Vibes being Very Off the two (or more) usually end up being a nice surprise to them actually lmao

- the fact that SIkuna likely takes everything that isn't chosen back perfectly into place whilst waiting for Nobara/other kids to put another outfit on probably makes their spookiness easier to deal with as well 😂😂😂

(He's not 'spared' from dressing up, but he can lighten the load on the workers' shoulders a little bit while he waits his turn, you know - he might be partially old as hell and from a time where that would have been unheard of to do for the sake of 'servants', but he also is partially someone from the 2020's lmao, he gets the pain)

(Imagine crossovers with Canon whilst he's in this form though lol, I feel like one Quite painful Misunderstanding that could happen is that This Other Sukuna apparently completely took over an older Yuji or something (since he clearly isn't there but Sukuna looks. like he looks.) OOF-)

Oh goodness I'm on holiday now but things really aren't going my way, haha. My car's battery died or something could be wrong with the fuel pump related parts - the battery is Old though - and my secondary job at a pet shop (which I love and hoped to change into the primary one because my primary job has me running on fumes) is no more since the firm went bankrupt. A moment ago I told my dad that I'm so very tired and I bawled my eyes out lmao

I am, however, going to do the duo/couple commission sale again on the 1st of February for Friend's Day and Valentine's Day!! Delivery is guaranteed before the 14th, of course. I'm only opening three slots this time so if interested, gotta keep y'all's peepers peeled for the commission post :3c

actually. the specific phrasing that boy Kevin wants to kill older Kevin with "I must disassemble him, piece by piece, so that everything inside of the Old Kevin comes out. Only then can the New Kevin truly begin." is so incredibly the idea that to heal from trauma and "improve" you have to destroy every "wrong" part of yourself, that everything "tainted" by it has to somehow be replaced by something untouched (which isn't possible)

Thank you all so much!! I'm close to reaching 7k...That's an INSANE amount, but I'm so happy to see so many fellow Nightmare fanatics around on this site, I never thought I'd be anywhere CLOSE to that number!!

As for TNBC news, not much has been going on besides Sally's Lament: A Twisted Tale releasing in early October, and even sooner for some UK residents..! The sequel to Long Live the Pumpkin Queen will likely release in summer of 2025, and we're still waiting to hear on a title + synopsis for that..!

Also, some new Little Golden Books have released this month, titled I Am Jack and I Am Sally! The next book in the series, I Am Santa, will release later in September. Curious if any more books for the characters are planned or in the making!

As I mentioned before, Dynamite Entertainment claimed last year that they'd have Nightmare comic books and graphic novels releasing in 2024. I haven't been able to find any word on these yet, even following the author attached to the first project, but I hope we can hear more on that soon, if it's still happening. We do have half a year to go, so I still have my hopes up..!

Good News: I officially have a hiatal hernia and severe reflux diagnosis after 4+ months of telling them that's what's wrong with me and trying to schedule tests to prove it

honestly after stewing on it all day, I think at this point my biggest hope is that the writers see the dozens of people calling out what's been happening to Hughie this season for what it is (sexual assault) and take a step back to realize that, yeah, it is and it's shitty to pretend it isn't. Obviously it won't be properly acknowledged this season, but hopefully they'll address it respectfully and handle it better in season 5

lost power for five hours last night WHILE sick AND it was dark and i was soooo bored 😩 tried to nap to no avail. had my candles going and was doing a crossword by flashlight but there's only so long before that becomes annoying. so i dug out one of my old i spy books i haven't looked at since childhood and spent like 45 minutes finding all the objects. it actually turned out to be the ideal way to experience that book, because the flashlight beam forced me to focus my attention on small parts of the image at a time. went back to twiddling my thumbs after that but at least it killed 45 minutes.
