Hi! Happy Simon and chip thoughts!!!! (Sorry I said I was going to send these hours ago):

On rainy days in……..

Chip will convince Simon to watch twilight or Harry Potter…I firmly believe she would love these movies. Simon will act like he has no interest, insisting that they are stupid movies for teenagers, but when chip glances up at Simon from her place on his chest, he’s FULLY immersed in it. She will smile and giggle to herself and when Simon notices he’s just giving her the stink eye.

Speaking of you being at the movies…..

When Simon convinces Chip to see a horror movie, he literally has to beg and plead. Don’t get me wrong—I feel like chip loves a good horror movie. But Simon’s picking the dumbest ones to see in theaters. Also….chip insists on bringing her own snacks because the food at movie theaters are so overpriced. To compensate for chips lack of purses to their snacks in….they tape a bowl to her belly and put all the snacks in it, giving her a little belly bump. Simon goes wild. He paws at her belly all the way there. He will rub it while they wait in for the tickets and chip will smack his hand away in embarrassment. He tells her she looks hot pregnant and she tells him they can tape it to his stomach next time. When they finally sit down and chip starts peeling off the tape Simon’s grabbing her hands and giving her fake belly a little kiss before letting her take it off.

I think chip will be one of the first people to show Simon how to make a proper snow angel, even if it’s in the grass like when she was a child. She will take a picture of him while he closes his eyes and moves his arms the way she showed him too. She makes it her Lock Screen.

Simon, on the other hand, helps her properly carve pumpkins. I feel like they go to do it and the second Simon sees the way chip is handling the sharpest knife in her kitchen (she almost slices all her fingers off which nearly gave him a heart attack) he’s snatching it from her hands and giving her a tutorial. Hers turned out better his and he gets a little butt hurt.

At some point, chip will get back to her apartment and start mindlessly rummaging through her fridge after a long day of work and find that it’s fully stocked….compared to its usual emptiness. She knows it was Simon, he told her he was stoping by to drop off her clothes she left at his flat. She gets to pissed that he’s spending his money on HER groceries. Calls him and is probably all snappy, telling him she doesn’t need him to spend his money on her like that, but he just plays dumb and says he doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

When they are lying in bed chip will be trying to get and sleep and just hear sirens coming from Simon’s phone. She will flop over, and see that he’s watching a live high speed chase. “Look at this!” And he’s holding the too bright phone in her face. After two mins they are snuggled up watching the driver speed through the streets. Simon starts rooting for him and chip smacks his chest.

Hello....Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....Thanks...

I've been asked my top 10 before, but never from all of the media I love and I've never been asked to elaborate on why I love them. Not to mention that the list changes as I watch/read new stuff, so it's good to update it. Then again, I don't watch live action that much, so I'm afraid it's gonna be all animanga/books, if you don't mind.

I must say, though, that it was impossible to decide on 10 this time around. So I resorted to listing my top 5. The list is in no particular order, by the way.

1. Kuchiki Rukia

So this one was an instant fave and I don't even think I need to explain much. Badass, kindhearted, A+ sense of humor. Just checks all the boxes. Also love her unique character design.

2. Gilbert Bougainvillea

I strictly mean the book version of him. Gil was one of the very few fictional characters to ever surprise me. I love how unapologetically emotional he is and how he's always making sure the people he holds dear get to live a happy life. The way he's such a "family and friends first" kinda guy and yet nobody seems to realize it simply because he looks like the aloof type is bitterly relatable for me. Also the way he acknowledges how unfair life is for him despite being brough up in an environment that, in theory, had everything to meet all his needs, and yet tries to make the best of it all. And my God, the amount of Respect Women Juice that this guy drinks. Goals as a human being, tbh. (Yes, the books are that different from the anime.)

3. Oikawa Tsurara

I normally don't vibe all that much with characters like Tsurara, but she quite literally opened new horizons for me in fandom. Imagine the dumb, clingy servant girl stereotype turned upside down. You start out fearing that she'll fit into the Mold TM, and before you realize it, she's risen to become an upper officer in command of two clans and is endgame with the protagonist (with three more guys pinning after her). Except this isn't a Cinderella kind of journey; she was always treated by her love interest as an equal and was always portrayed as having immense potential. Her jealousy of her rivals seems comical but is actually valid, as her suspicions always hit home. She's smart and strong and not at all delusional, and the story makes sure to give her a steady growth. She never becomes overpowered, but the protagonist only gets to that level because of her.

4. Takigawa Masaki

Again, book version. Motherfucker just be casually defying every god in existence because y'all can't just try to kill my disciple like that, what the actual fuck. The "Catch These Hands" priest, because he'll punch the shit outta whoever gets between him and the little bitch who tried to harm his students. And then he'll fuck into his shrine in the middle of the woods like nothing happened. His main occupation, however, is to be hot as hell. Truly an icon.

5. Sheryl Nome

Same as with Tsurara, I normally don't vibe much with characters like Sheryl, but holy fuck, the amount of respect I have for this woman. Macross is a franchise that specializes in taking archetypes and tropes and subverting them completely, and Frontier is my favorite because the character handling in this thing is good fucking food.

Sheryl has such an attitude but she can back it up. And she does it in ways that are charismatic, rather than annoying or bitchy. She absolutely never puts herself down and is never portrayed as actually fragile and inoffensive on the inside. The narrative gets points too for never going "she's amazing but she won't ever be as good as the protagonist". And she's cute, sure, but she's also dangerous and is out there to get what she wants. Yet there's so much heart to her. So much passion and admiration for all things alive and for connecting with them through music. She usually only does what she wants but is so ridiculously selfish with the people she cherishes. Easily one of the most extremely complex and absurdly cool femme fatales in animanga.

so, in order to know more about Neo we must first discuss what the hell The Grim is. Originally The Grim was a story that me and my highschool best friend were co-writing. We had shared ocs and would draw them interacting and doing dumb shit. The "plot" of The Grim was supposed to be a fun serialized story about different paranormal investigative cases, except that it wasn't bunk paranormal stuff it was like real actual horrors. Like vampires, zombies, and most notable of all; SCPs. I was REALLY into SCP when I was a sophomore (when we came up with these ocs) and as such I thought it would be rly fun to make a series that has the tone of a goofy slice of life anime/manga but it covers more serious stuff like monster slaying and abstract horror.

Now, to explain Neo; he is the push of the push/pull dynamic protag duo. Originally I had his plot be that he's simply a pyromancer that can regenerate, which like, that's cool. But also since I wrote his plot when I was like ?? 14?? it's not done with any care and he has a 'psychotic break' which causes him to like, attack Harly but they still work together and are chill??? I dont know. It's rly old and I gotta rework it now that I'm not going for Maximum Edge TM.

For his new plot, I'm thinking of making his power be something along the lines of extreme energy generation. He can heal exceptionally fast but if he stores up too much energy he can literally just. Combust. Like a phoenix. As a result if he doesn't want to deal with Explosion Time he has to find a way to become extremely injured extremely fast, and this results in weird knife eroticism between him and Denev. They are in love. Denev will deny it, but they are so in love.

Also for some reason his original get-up was like, short shorts, no shoes, and him n Denev had these ugly ass matching hats???? I still have no idea why. Maybe it was the idea that like, theyre detectives they gotta wear detective-y things. Now they just have opposite-monochrome matching coats which I feel looks much nicer.

Anyway, Neo is quite literally the Hot Pink Bitch Named Breakfast of the squad and is very much a landmine of emotions being like, in a fun and sexy way teehee!

I FORGOT TO MENTION; his hair is pink because one of the first cases him and Denev take on is for a vending machine that dispenses strange oddities and one of the things he got was jelly beans that permanently changed his natural hair color to pink. He is originally a brunette. Haunting, I know.

I love the idea that scps are real and worth investigating but overwhelming they're Just Inconvenient.

I like to think that post-cheryl and the gang graduating, cheerleading ended up becoming like riverdale's stereotypical euphemism for lesbianism ya know like softball so by the time the river vixens get revived it's like

Halloween Ends proudly takes place as the shittiest franchise finale prolly ever made 🥰🥰🥰🥰 the whole thing looked like a self-insert fanfiction from that corey bitch as he jumps the plot out of nowhere and writes himself the cheesiest "misunderstood white boy with trauma" arc and a love story just as dumb, featuring tropes like "you are I are outcasts and therefore must be together forever" and "I've known you for exactly 5 minutes but you are the only one who understands me, now let's ditch this shithole together".

the film can't decide what it wants the plot to be. the writers all but finger us with the idea of evil being an infection, and then oops, it's not, it's a catalyst for the evil already inside. which is also weird but ok. I thought Halloween Kills was bad, but they actually went for the urban legend vibe that time, and it was actually interesting. I liked the idea of Michael being tied to the town and ultimately existing because of people's fear of him. I'm not sure I liked the idea of Michael being instead a fucking covid prototype and spreading evil (tm).

I certainly didn't fucking like the idea of Laurie and Michael doing their final stand off by a fucking chance? listen, it's THEIR story. you can explore the nature of evil in your spare screen time, but a generic basic no-name bitch corey had no place in the story. it did not perpetuate the plot, it did not explain Michael, it did not explore the possibilities of evil. it was fucking useless.

I guess I'm bitter, because the whole point of reboot was to finish the story of Laurie and Michael. The tremble I got from the trailer where Laurie unlocks the door on a Halloween night? AMAZING. In reality, they literally met by chance and I wasn't sure either of them wanted to fight. Michael just popped by to take his mask and kindly fuck off to his sewers like a tired grandpaw.

the 2018 film got us the neverending circles and unfinished business between Laurie and Michael, that neither of them could let go of, while structuring the idea of the Strode legacy through generations. the 2022 film fucked us over and showed nada. I'd rather watch Laurie kill Michael in the 5 mins of the film and then going on a killing spree the next Halloween because her trauma became her darkness.

all in all, I'm pissed cause the whole franchise came down to both main characters becoming utterly irrelevant to their own story,

I just felt like talking about some of these lines so why not. Warning for a bit of neg and talks of orientalism underneath. This is just my opinion, if you like the outfits, I am very happy for you. Feel free to disagree and stuff idk

First up, Umbra in the Sand, oh jeez

Really? on Ramadhan?

I'm always super icked out whenever anime games try to feature anything middle eastern because they treat the middle east not as a place that has people with hundreds of cultures and landscapes that one could take inspiration from and instead as a "Genre" to make fanservice with. It sees the middle east not as a real place with its own societies to explore but as an excuse to put waifus in belly dancer outfits and husbandos in whatever the heck Stainless is meant to be wearing.

The whole point of a lot of middle eastern clothing is to protect the skin from the death rays of the sun and that completely clashes with the goal of showing cleavage, bellies and thighs. So designers always end up making... This.

The fashion itself is uninspiring, Carnelian is decent but Gavial's just in a bikini, I dislike Stainless' clothes and I can't see what Erato is wearing because she's holding a ~Middle Eastern Instrument(tm)~

2/10, it's half assed orientalism, I give it 2 points cus its only half assed and Carnelian at least looks good but it's only getting that because it's orientalism.

Next, Fast & Stronger

Fast & Furious reference alert. This one is a huge step up but that's prolly only because Umbra in the Sand was such a Low for me.

You can't really go wrong with black leather jackets and this kind of edgy fashion so everyone looks good here and are solid with the concept. Penance is my favourite we love a hot bitch.

My only thing with this concept is that I feel like it could have been pushed just a little further I feel. I think it needs a bit more accessories to really give out that edgy "we are committing illegal racing" vibe. It'd also be funny considering that most of the characters here would most likely not approve of it.

7/10, Love the concept but the execution needs more oomph.

Next on is Chamber of Virtuoso

Another traditional chinese esque aesthetic but a bit more regal and fantastical(?)

I love the clothes here, Lava and Lin here are my favourites, Ling looks nice and Lee is Lee.

I dont really feel for anything about these designs because I'm not exactly too sure what direction it's going for, nor am I familiar with what genre exactly it's referencing. It also feels like that instead of a reimagining of these characters we're getting the same thing that we've seen from these character again when Ambience of Synesthesia is one of the biggest chances to dress up these characters in ways that they wouldn't usually dress in the game.

5/10, looks pretty but the concept bores me a bit.

And lastly, the chosen looks that got turned into skinlines, The Lost Tideline.

Just gonna look at this purely in a fashion sense and not look at the skin art because reasons.

This line is prolly the only line that matches the whole Phantom Thief theme that this year's Ambience Synesthesia is going for by trying to do the whole "Mystery on a Cruise" thing.

Irene is in a maid dress, Lumen is reimagined as this romantic rich boy almost and I like that so much, Roberta looks nice and Horn is in yet another white dress.

Yet another concept that I really like but I feel could have been pushed further. Especially with Lumen we won't be able to see him in this kinda richboi outfit so give him a bit more jewellery! Give him a fancy robe! Slick up his hair or smth idk! Turn him into the arrogant rich character who is the red herring for the murder that happened on the ship.

It felt like they held back with this one for some reason and it's a shame cus with a name like, The Lost Tideline, I would have expected some dumb fun I guess.

7/10 again, good concept, wished it was pushed further.

Overall this Ambience Synesthesia gets a 5/10 from me. The thing that was really missing for me was the cheese and camp that we got from the previous Ambiences. Like, 2022 gave us Flamebringer with a gas mask in a cyberpunk setting, Mr Nothing The Flop (Affectionate) as a serious looking general, Dream Land had our operators in gorgeous dresses and suits, and we get to see Mudrock, Phantom, Tequila and Reed doing dumb spy stuff. It had charm, it was cheesy but it was dumb fun.

And then 2023 gave us Orientalism, Black Leather Jacket Gang and Fantasy Traditional Chinese (again). The Lost TIdeline looks really good but it really felt like they held themselves back because they wanted to go for something actually serious this time ig?

I feel like the concepts weren't explored enough here and that kinda sucks cus there's some potential here.

Except for Umbra in the Sand. That should have just been binned.

Maybe I'd think differently if I see the livestream and the context and story behind these lines but rn I think it's pretty mid.

i Need to get this off my chest now that my head has cleared up but i don't wanna be annoying at my friends for bringing this up again because i hold deep grudges. unfortunately i am a bitch

the longer it stewed in my mind the angrier it made me.

i asked someone if they felt guilty their direct actions caused harm to someone. because yknow, humans are fascinating things in good and bad ways, and i was curious how they felt about it. (i did apologize for the stupid question, because out of context it sounds really dumb and patronizing.) the reason i asked is because well. the person scares me shitless, and they kept saying they will use their account as they please because Obviously it's their account and they can do whatever they want. but some of the things they do just rile up the fandom in really Bad ways and stirs up unnecessary discourse and i'm just... yeah of course you can't control your followers but thinking about the consequences of your actions does not hurt. at all. so i wanted to get their thoughts to stop my fear of them LOL we aren't friends but we have common friends so i wanted to at least make an attempt of trying understand them.

the response i get is (basically) Duh, just because i like characters like [insert villain characters] doesn't mean i'm cold and unfeeling and i'm like. i think i was apologizing? i'm not sure but i don't wanna check because i don't want to go back to being depressed. anyway they then proceed to tell me to stop making asumptions and reading things in bad faith which then made me feel bad. they already deal with hate from other people, they didn't need Me to accuse them of being this villain person(TM)

hours later i noticed how fucking odd that was. they tell me to stop reading things in bad faith, but literally accused me of thinking they are cold and unfeeling and a villain??? "well you implied that with your 'do you feel guilty' question" that's what you call bad faith reading.

i get Why they thought that; it's because of all those weirdos who think liking a villainous character means the person condones their actions and behave the same way. but i do not understand why they felt the need to tell me that, when i have been stressing the entire time that i don't think they are a bad person. so i'm now arriving at the thought that They read my thing in bad faith and i'm like... hypocrite much???

Since I have Too Many Characters(TM), I'll narrow it down to choose between the 92 (oof) that already have ther ref sheets drawn :] and this is in no particular order, it's just numbered to look pretty,,,

1. Pangea Coldwell

She's a fairly recent character I created back in 2022. She's Peggy's handler, and a second world war medic (i was in my biggest WWII era at the time). She's a gentle and kind woman, with a big heart but almost no patience at all; usually seen as smart by her peers and fast-to-act, despite whatever's in he way.

Despite her interest in medicine, she's extremely fond of ice-skating, acting, singing and reading - some of her favorite hobbies that don't include her insane dog.

Her power is that of future-sighting, though it's not nowhere near as strong as Horace's. She sees only bits and pieces based on probability, normally of the immediate future (at most, she sees only a few hours ahead, while Horace can see years in advance).

2. Peggy

The absolute sensation. My baby. THE stupidest thing to ever walk this planet. Precious bean. The devil's child, born to put everything in her mouth (and hopefully eat it before dying). The one and only:

Peggy, the Belgian Mallinois is a medical-rescue war dog owned by Pangea. Don't worry, she's dumb even while at work. She has a magical shield against projectiles, so she's a walking barrier (RIP for everyone who tries to hit her with a shoe while she howls and barks)

Things that she eated included (but are not limited to): frogs, fish, insects, rocks, shoes, bones she found where bones shouldn't be, twigs, a dead starfish, baby turtle, tried to eat a crab but failled, a hat, her own leash at least 3 timess, wood, alcoholic beverages (she's fiiiiiine), a mushroom, triessd to eat a snake, etc.

3. Constance Ezebel

The Goddess of Oceans and Curses. I consider her to be one of the strongest Gods among my characters; she's as ancient as water.

Since she was cursed to stay stuck on a Loop in Tortuga, unable to be free at sea again, she takes her anger in those who choose the waters to be their homes. She controls floods and storms, but also when fishing is good and the seas are calm. The fate of all who chose the sea lie within her hands - and those of her se monsters and creatures, who do her biding.

She's a fucking bitch who never does anything for free and usually only accepts stuff if it's paid with a soul or sacrifice,,, she also throws the best parties so she's forgiven :3 and she's half goat so she's cool

4. Stiggy the Stygimoloch

He was just a joke I turned real. He's extremely OP (the indistructable, extremely agresssives and immortal little dinosaur. Who is VERY little and VERY angry) that I turned canon because I love him so much xD

His first appearance was back in 2019 (you see, he's OLD). His backstory is that all the anger in the universe fuels him and he was created by the Gods as a weapon or something. Anyway the only person who he listens to is Miss Kestrel

He's my fave joke character and i'm very glad I made him canon (even if he lives in a forest in the middle of nowhere without ever being interacted with xD)

5. Athena Crow

Death and Freedom Goddess! One of my mains like Pangea and Peggy! Blithe's iresponsible First Mate and Constance's biggest pain in the ass (Athena cursed her to be forever stuck on land and Constance cursed Athena to forever roam the seas. They are bestfriends but also hate each other's guts)

I have SO MANY thoughts about this woman it's unreal,,,,, I love how much of an annoyance she is in general. Alway here to make a fool of herself and have people questioning why the fuck they follow her

Form this I discovered that: of my favorites the only one who is not a complete and utter imbecile is Pangea. Good for her 🤡👍

Ughhhh. So this whole transitory period has us with a very loose schedule and very low "solid" time markers to ground us in the space time continuum - which isn't BAD necessarily, cause we are actually feeling overall pretty decent, dysphoria aside, but literally just here with REALLY heavy de-realization and sense of time is like, non-existent. It's something that doesn't distress us that much cause we got used to it over the years and it's nothing more than a feeling and I trust that we are doing the right shit cause I'm just following the plan from before but god the lack of a clear time frame and all fucks with the OCD, the OCPD, the trauma brain, and the autistic brain and I'm almost literally wanting a job SOLELY for someone to give our week schedule some structure - not for money, not for experience - mainly just for some structure XD Like that'll definitely 180 but Im just like "dude literally give me any job I just want something to do to build my day around" and its also resulted in XIV being like "yeah but don't start falling for capitalism slave jobs either you dumb bitch" and I'm just like UGH BUT THIS IS MISERABLE

... for the record I've been on break for *checks notes* two days and *checks notes* have had interviews every day.

I'm also 95% sure this is such a dissociative period for me also cause I'm in that awkward phase of fusion with Data / Riku TM where you are both, aren't both, and are getting used to whatever new version this is and like... both Data and Riku TM were HORRIBLE with work-life balances in separate ways.

I'm like "Hey XIV Imma go subject myself to capitalistic self torture like I was made and trained to do ✨ //^w^// ✨" and then his commie ass looks at me like "-_- Bro I get which parts you are now but cease we're commies stop it get some help" and Im like "whaaaaat?????? oh also a lot of online typology communities are just a bunch of little shits trying to be contrarian with ppl about their types so that they can degrade people's sense of self understanding and attempt to manipulate them.

everyone always goes on about how 6s won't accept that they're 6s but you dont know how many times i've had people tell me to accept i'm a 5 head fix and I've spent hours arguing I'm actually a 6... seen it happen to other 6 fixes too... perhaps actual 6 cores are too uncertain in themselves, who knows. but many 6s and 6fixes get mistyped as non 6s and have to argue that they are 6s becuz people think we're not dumb normie simpleton enough to be real 6s / 6-fixers, or we dont have the right body language in their weirdo visual typing system to be 6, or something.

Just gonna drop this here...

it's a silly little powerpoint with some outfit images on the slides, sorted by date. not complete, dont come for my throat. working on it though!

Edit 23/09: Completed all shows up to today. Would love feedback on any potential mistakes.

Here's A Question

Have you ever won anything? Big, small, competition, luck-based, raffle, gambling, ANYTHING.

I won tickets to see Mariah Carey in concert when I was in 8th grade. My first concert ever! Was from a local radio station. I had to identify a song from only the first few notes.

I won a CD Discman during my high school's huge graduation party. The school took the whole senior class out on grad night to avoid there being a bitch-ton of parties in a relatively small town. I think it was sponsored mostly by the police department and the local parents, both wanting to avoid any drunk driving accidents or other such things. It was a full-on over-night affair. We had a little cruise boat on the Delaware River where they had a DJ and candy gambling; then they trucked us to a very cool blacklight bowling alley, and then finally breakfast at a local diner that somehow had enough room for my whole graduating class. I won by doing a little song and dance for a teacher. They were randomly calling out little challenges during the bowling alley bit and I heard "Come make Mrs. Drexler laugh for a prize!" Mrs. Drexler was a known curmudgeon who barely even cracked a smile. I went over there with a glittery top hat from my goodie bag and basically performed "ONE" from A Chorus Line. I actually cracked her up. The prize was only supposed to be a coupon for a free ice cream at Friendly's or something like that, but they gave me the Discman instead since I made a real effort.

Another radio station, I won tickets to see TransSiberian Orchestra. They wanted to hear (clean) jokes. I told a dumb blonde joke.

I won $500 from my property management office's Christmas raffle. Just had to send a picture of how I decorated my apartment. I'd hung cascade twinkle lights off of all of the soffits and then hung ornaments from the wires as well. Also had festive collars on my kitties.

And I won $150 (Canadian) from a scratch ticket when I was visiting my then boyfriend in Calgary. (He had to cash it in for me since I was not a citizen of Canada.)

Not me, but my MOM, won a full-on Disney vacation week for four from yet another radio station. She had to be, like the 7th caller AND answer a trivia question. Now, my mom is not a huge Disney fan, but I am a Disney maniac and I'd dragged her to a more than a few Disney movies and she would give me VHS/DVDs for birthdays and Christmas. So any Disney knowledge she had was directly attributable to me. Said trivia question was "What DIsney movie is the only animated movie to be nominated for an Academy Award?" Mom says, "I know this one! It's my daughter's favorite movie! Beauty and the Beast!" Meanwhile, I'm in my car, on my way to work and I hear MY MOM on the radio. I had to pull over. After they asked the question, I was literally screaming the answer at my car stereo. She answers, she wins, and I have to contain myself until I get home after work. (This was before everyone had a cell phone. I think I had a Nokia Brick (tm).) Sadly, she did not take me on said Disney vacation (yes, I'm still a wee bit bitter). She took her husband (of course) and the two oldest granddaughters who were I believe 9 and 7 at the time, so good age. On the other hand, having the entire house to myself while they were gone was pretty cool. I had a party. They still don't know that I basically had a rave in their little Victorian house.
