I don't know if anyone can relate but sometines when I decide to further my relationship with God, I feel like that's when ish gets harder. Every time God frees me from one thing, another thing pops up. And sometimes, I don't even realise I lost focus on God and now this thing has control over me. Different form, same problem, same effect. And I'm not going to lie but it frustrates me and makes me upset because "I feel like I'm just spinning around, and around and around. Why have I repented a thousand times just to be moving a circle? I thought God would make me stronger but I feel so weak, so unworthy to follow God." This is really what I was thinking yesterday and it had me upset for the morning but I was focusing on me, my weaknesses and failures, and not God's greatness and His ability to break me from whatever cycle. God's Grace is sufficient. Paul, Lacrae and Johnathan M said it best. Of course in my moment of weakness I forgot that. See, the moment you start thinking negatively about your relationship with God know that it's The devil trying to cause you to break up with God. Leave that place of darkness and PRAY, read the Bible, listen to a sermon, gospel music, Christian motivation videos. Do whatever to saturate your heart with the Word of God. Why? Because you're running low and you need to be fuelled with positivity and love (aka God) for the season you're going through. The devil sees you're running low too so of course he swoops in.
