I genuinely cannot describe how deeply DEVASTATED I am about riz being the only one who can take stress tokens for the others. Yes fig is a protector and will fight endlessly for her friends and I love that about her but there is something about the way riz loves his friends. It’s a more subtle kind of love, but just as relentless and passionate and he will take any burden for the people he cares about and bear the weight of it on his shoulders so they don’t have to deal with it without any hesitation. I am ILL.

in truth all i have to say is i love being right but if you ask me on a deeper level. im wild over bill being parallels to the whole entire pines family in such a deep way. i already knew this i figured as much but its WILD how deep down it goes. stan and bill both taking their fathers hats. everything about trying to outrun lifes regrets. no body will love you if they know what terrible secrets your running from. i know he wants to tear stan into little shreds over many things but one of them is for sure that stan got to go back to being loved and accepted after everything while bill is well. bill. i already knew everything with mabel but that theory about the nightmare realm being a dream bubble just like mabel land is only more real in my mind now. dont even get me fucking STARTED on ford and bill the entire " i looked up at the stars and i was ready to be one " vs fords whole " from hardships to the stars " thing the fact they both grew up as outcasts due to something strange with them. he saw himself in the other there for real. im wild over it im so wild thank you alex hirsch for the food.

I will never get over the fact how incredibly isolated Dirk was. Literally the only living thing for MILES was fish & sea gulls. Half of the kids grew up without a guardian, but Jade had Bec, Roxy had the carapacians, Jake had the tinkerbulls (possibly other lusii?) and spoke fondly of his grandma before batterwitch killed her.

But Dirk had nothing. Dirk was so sick of being alone that he cloned himself, and then realised he STILL only had himself for company.

And let's not forget the fact he was attacked by drones regularly. That he was literally fighting for his life. That people talk about & draw Dave's scars. But dirk would be covered in them too. Both for them were forced to fight for their life on that damm roof top.

Dirk is so deeply unstable. To act calm and collected about killing yourself, then kissing your dead friends. That's not someone with a normal sense of self, a normal sense of life. After the game it would take Dirk decades to deal with everything wrong with him.

Bitter isolation and the constant looming threat of death does not make for one healthy man.

also ohshc's emphasis on family and the club being a family. even if it's often used as a joke, in ep 25 you can see that lady eclaire uses this against tamaki. you can see it in how they take care of each other even if it's not always done in the right way. and tbh it's one of the reasons i attached onto ohshc so much. they're all friends, they're all a family, and haruhi is so quickly accepted into that with almost no question from anyone. they're all protective over each other, AND IT'S FUCKING ARGHHHHHHHH. even Kyoya who has stated that he's only in this for his own personal gain, obviously cares for literally all of them, especially tamaki and haruhi. like yeah! were they all in love with her? they were! but there is rarely conflict between them over her (with the exception of tamaki and the hiitatchin twins (although 98% of the time it's played as a joke)) i just feel. so so unwell over this show.

AND they treat the audience like family, which is also used as a joke (4th wall breaks, etc etc) but it's obvious that was the intention because in the finale, literally at the fucking end, the leave with telling us that we can visit whenever we want and that they'll be waiting. and like WHATEVERM IM NORMAL

ALSO AT THE END all the guys dance with her (in what i think is in the order of the smallest - largest crush on her, but idk) and it's like i'm losing my mind. they all loved and accepted her. and like. WHATEVER.
