#IN A WORLD THAT HATES WOMEN AND ESPECIALLY WOMEN RP CHARACTERS

I've been thinking lately and I think if they do end up putting Eloise with Philip (in the Bridgerton show), I'll definitely be ignoring it. Not simply because he is A Man, and Eloise is more into women and nonbinary people, but also because:
To end up with him, Eloise's entire personality and worldview has to change. The only thing is, I like her personality and worldview the way it is. She is right and she should say it lol.
Eloise is frightened, no petrified of giving birth. Especially for the time period she's in, that's a fair thing to fear, I think. Heck, I never want to give birth and I live in modern times. And I never have either. I think Eloise is the same.
Furthermore, I don't think Eloise cares for children too much. She doesn't hate them, and if a partner wanted children, she would always be kind to them etc. But I don't see her as a very maternal woman. And that's okay.
Eloise also wants to be with someone who is her intellectual equal. Who challenges her, surprises her, makes her think about the world in a different way. Now, I could be wrong, but I don't see Philip doing any of that.
Eloise (as her face tag 'my rebellion is not a costume' states) is not going through a phase. She has genuine criticisms and notices the problems of the society in which she lives. To end up with a Man, not only a Man but one who doesn't add anything to her life except give her more work, would contradict that, IMO anyway. Not saying that women dating men can't be feminists. Of course not, that's silly. But what I am saying is that Eloise would only be attracted to a man who IS her true equal. Who isn't just more of the same. Who would respect her as she is. And I just don't see Philip doing any of that. Maybe the show will surprise me, but idk. In addition, as I said above, El doesn't ever want to give birth (and in the books she does), isn't largely fond of children (and Philip already has them). For their relationship to work, El would have to sacrifice a lot, while Philip wouldn't. And that is exactly the kind of thing that Eloise has an issue with. If the relationship was more equal, she wouldn't mind. But it wouldn't be. And personally, I don't want that for her.
(Trigger warning: rape) I haven't read the books yet, but I've heard that Philip is kinda rapey towards Marina in the books, and I don't want that for Eloise. Not saying he would ever harm her, idk. But she would never want to be with a man who would harm any woman, no matter her feelings towards them.
TLDR version: Show!Eloise would have to change and sacrifice a lot for her book relationship to still work. And personally, I don't think I would find that a compelling character arc. And I think Eloise deserves one. She also deserves to be with someone who truly challenges her, surprises her, improves her life. Not saying relationships don't require sacrifices, they do, but they do on both sides. Not just one. Eloise and Philip, from what I've heard, is NOT that. It's Eloise sacrificing and Philip gets off easy. It's not fair imo. And it's not the ending I want for such a strong woman. She deserves better.
My Eloise, therefore, will likely not be following canon if that is indeed her endgame in the show. That doesn't mean I won't RP Philip and Eloise, I'm sure RPers can have an interesting take on the character. But I'm much more interested in developing ships with women and nonbinary characters in the Bridgerton universe, for Eloise. Or maybe RPing with a Theo. (I liked him, sue me. At least he's her intellectual equal and challenges her.)
#rebel with a cause (eloise: headcanon.)#idek what this is tbh#but just wanted to get my feelings out#so any questions feel free to ask#(my eloise canon.)#putting it in that tag cause yes

I have an idea for a character. Not for me to play, but for me to play against. Not quite a wanted opposite, but a wanted connection. (I believe that's what group RP's call these sorts of ideas.)
Putting this idea under a cut, just so I don't clog the tags or people's dashes with a whole swath of text.
I don't mind changing this girl's name, but for the purposes of this post we're going to refer to her as Jade. And while there maybe could be another FC assigned to this character, I have a specific girl in mind for her general appearance as well; the girl goes by Honey Bee.
Now just right off the bat, sorry if these bullet points seem all over the place. I figure this is the most straightforward way to present these ideas, and also the most malleable. Like I said, details could easily be changed here and there.
Why is she sex-obsessed? Maybe she found porn at a pretty young age, and became addicted to it ever since. (And as time went on, the taste in porn just became filthier and more degrading.) Maybe her parents’ knee-jerk response to dismissing anything promiscuous made her all the more interested in it. Maybe she already had an internalized interest in male dominance and gender roles and the like - probably due to her dad being a controlling and/or abusive husband and father - and all it took was a little perusing on the filthier side of a social media network like Tumblr or Twitter, and from there she was just gone.
Why is she more than a little boy crazy? Maybe when she found out for herself what a man looked like when he was completely naked, she immediately fell in love with them. (It could’ve been something of a religious experience for her, where seeing a man’s cock was almost like seeing God in the flesh.) Maybe she’s had a tendency to grow really big crushes on guys, and that’s all especially been heightened when she becomes more promiscuous. (It could be a really bad case if her obsessions tend to go towards more jockish, douche-y types. Because, then she’d have an ideation for not only men, but bullish men who hold no respect for women.) Maybe she was sexually molested by someone - possibly a family member - and ever since, she’s come to crave and yearn for men because she associates them with aggression, and that’s what turned her on the most about the molestation. (Even if it was traumatic and shocking to her in the moment.)
Why is she dumb as a rock? Maybe she tries but gets bored easily, and can’t find it in her to concentrate during classes because she’d rather be doing anything else. Maybe she’s really shallow, and can’t help but get distracted by other, more materialistic things. Maybe she spends a lot of time on her phone, and can find herself way too fascinated by things like fashion or gossip (or porn) to really give a damn about education. Maybe she even finds herself rejecting education, because it doesn’t fit in with the warped view of the world she’s coming to develop.
Is she a female misogynist? (Or a gender traitor, as some would say?) Possibly. She’s definitely pro-men, and finds herself super attracted to men who exhibit misogynistic behavior. She finds any attention from any man to be an honor, though she does truly love being degraded and objectified.
Does she hate herself? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe a man could make her feel really self-conscious and insecure about herself. Or maybe she doesn’t have any insecurity or shame; maybe she prides herself on being a shameless cunt, and is more than happy to prove her inferiority by either presenting her holes or degrading herself for the satisfaction of men.
Where is she in her life? I could see her being in the later years of high school at the earliest. Or maybe she dropped out before reaching senior year and/or graduation and got a GED. (Which could also be a factor to her subpar intelligence.) Though it could also be possible that she made it through high school - by the skin of her teeth - and maybe enrolled into college. (Either because that’s what everybody else was doing, because it’s what her parents wanted… or maybe she personally wanted to go to college herself, but for all the wrong reasons.)
How does she come into contact with men? Maybe she crushes on men who go to the same school as her. (Or maybe they give her all sorts of attention, and she either likes it or loves it, depending on who it is or what kind of attention she gets.) Maybe she goes after men she happens to see out in public, and they take full advantage of her. Maybe she gets cat-called, and she’s gullible enough to eat it all up and take it as a compliment. Maybe she flirts on her social media profile(s), and some of the men she comes into contact with are determined enough to come to her. Maybe she flirts at her job, and is basically like the token slut of all the female employees, regardless of whether she’s working at like a food chain or a more clerical, office-related position.
Now again, some of the details here can be changed. If you've got some suggestions yourself, I'd be happy to hear them! But yeah, these are basically the bones of a character I'd love to play against.

Omaaawgad,Will there be a new fanfic? HOTD or GOT? Team black or green?
Hi there! I've definitely considered writing a fic of my oc and Aemond before, but I didn't want another WIP out while WMITS is unfinished. I've made the house lore for my own fun, and /may/ get an RP blog going for that oc (if I can tolerate the ASOIAF RPC, bc it's wild in there lol)
I've read all of ASOIAF, Fire & Blood, and Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and have seen both seasons of HOTD, and I've started GOT! I definitely prefer the books, though! I'm not too happy with the writing of HOTD, especially the second season.
The team thing issssss not my favorite. I know it's a marketing ploy, but I think it loses GRRM's critique of monarchy as whole. It's made the fandom nearly unbearable, at least for me. I like the Greens as characters, which means I apparently hate women to some of the fandom, so it's turned me off of that. It's like no one wants to talk about how Viserys' ruling did make Rhaenyra heir, but Jaeherys' "Widow's Law" set a decent precedent for male inheritance instead lol. Idk idk, if the fandom was better I might be more enthused but I just don't like engaging with it at large.
That was probably way more of an answer than what was asked but I do love the world of Westeros (and Aemond Targaryen lol)

Welcome to the Pack House!
Rules, Character profile, tags, and verses below (all subject to change)
Hello hello and welcome to the world of Marchosias, the Masochistic Marquis! This is purely an RP blog just for fun, and definitely not meant to be taken seriously. Enjoy your stay, Marc is a fun guy and generally likes everyone!
Rules and everything below the cut!
Rules
1. I'm going to go ahead and put this out here right now but this blog is of course ran by a 30+ year old mun. I'm so sorry but I don't feel comfortable with minors on my blog. If you aren't 20+ please stay away.
2. Do not bring your fandom drama on here. I don't care about any scandals, fights, shipping wars, etc. Keep that crap as far away from me as possible.
3. This is purely an rp blog. Most of my posts here will be in character. No real world shit on this blog. I'm here for a good time after all. And I know you are too.
4. Things may get a bit dark on this blog guys. Marc has a thing for pain, mostly receiving it. All that stuff will be tagged appropriately.
5. I am oc and crossover friendly! Willing to interact with anyone including other versions of Marchosias.
6. I love shipping and Marc is usually depicted as being single as a Pringle. I like to think that he's pansexual, so bring all your muses and let's see where it goes.
7. I do have a job outside of this and I do run several other blogs. Please be patient as my inspiration comes and goes between several characters. And of course real life stuff comes first.
8. Feel free to message me if you need anything or just wanna chat. I usually don't plot my rps but if it makes you more comfortable we can!
9. Don't be a dick. If you're any kind if -ist or -phobic Don't interact please. I don't have time or patience to deal with your hateful nonsense.
10. Have fun! As I mentioned Marc is a fun dude and is more than willing to interact with anyone! Despite his thing for pain he's mostly a big softie and a gentleman. He may be intimidating but he's actually really sweet ^-^
Character Profile: Marchosias
Full name: Marchosias Lupus Goetia
Important facts:
Titles and nicknames: Grand Marquis of the House Marchosias. The Bastard of Shax. The Masochistic Marquis (obvs). The Pirate Marquis of Envy. The Winged Wolf.
Appearance: easily ten feet tall, mostly black furred with a few silver hairs here and there. Has a black scaled tail that actually shines like a rainbow under light. His wings are white and swan like, almost long enough to touch the floor when at rest. Has long ears, like a mix of a wolf and a rabbit, and each of them as five gold rings in them. Has a nose ring (septum and he has a small silver star piercing on his muzzle). In his mouth he's replaced his two canine teeth with intricately carved silver (that may or may not be laced with angelic steel). Has several body piercings, most notably a sort of corset like piercing that goes from his chest down to his belly button held in by a series of gold hooks and chains (usually has this hidden under clothes). His eyes are mesmerizing, having the appearance of a starry night or like blue gold stone. Usually wears noble style, old regency like clothes and a long coat.
Demon form: an enormous wolf made of shadows, his wings turn a deep shade of red. He gains two extra pairs of eyes. His piercings all become chains that are attached to various parts of his body.
1. Marc is a goetia bastard. He was born from a one night stand between Shax and a wolf demon from greed.
2. Marc grew up in greed, living there until his mother died when he was 14. He found Shax and his family and a blood test was done to prove he was Shax's son. He was recognized and officially legitimized by the goetia kings at fifteen.
3. Has a good relationship with the women of his family. His stepmother, duchess Vivienne, his beloved (late) sister Ravenna, and his sweetheart niece, Phenix. The men not so much, including his father and especially his brother Malphas.
4. He hates Hells hierarchy and thinks it's bullshit. Due to his background, Marc has a better understanding of the people supposedly under him and tries to do right by them.
5. He's not afraid to tell a higher ranking noble off. If someone's being an asshole, he will call it out and stick up for the victim.
6. Marc is very charming and flirtatious. However, he will not physically touch anyone without permission first, and he makes it a point to always ask.
7. Marc is all about body modifications. This makes him stand out from the other goetia who view tattoos/ritualistic scarring and tattoos as taboo. His pride and joy are the piercings on his stomach, though his favorites are actually the rings in his ear.
8. To escape an arranged marriage at sixteen Marc went to Envy and was an honored guest to Leviathan. He stayed there until he was twenty, garnering his reputation as a pirate. He also may or may not have had a fling with Leviathan...a gentleman doesn't kiss and tell after all...
9. Marc has been trying to continue his sister's legacy of reform. He believes the goetia have failed as nobles, and they've severely let down the people who need them the most. That being said he does try to help people when he can, as he helps sponsor the creation of schools and libraries across the rings.
10. He can't tell a lie. Being a demon that's charged with finding the truth of all things, Marchosias is incapable of telling a lie, besides maybe by omission. He can tell half truths, and can sense when the truth itself isn't being used by another person.
Tags:
1. RP Title: I like to title role plays so this helps keep things organized.
2. Howl Call: used for rp starters, inbox games, etc.
3. The Wolf Calls: also for rp starters, mostly open rps
4. Marc Aesthetic: anything that makes me think of Marc and his over all Aesthetic
5. The Wolf Pack: anything regarding his family, blood or otherwise.
6. NSFW: should be obvious, anything that could be considered NSFW from sexual stuff to dark stuff.
7. Trigger Warning (TW): again should be obvious, anything that could be considered traumatizing
8. Blog name: name of the blog I'm role-playing with. Mostly for organizing purposes
9. Character interaction: name of characters I interact with.
10. AU- Alternate Universe obviously.
*all of these are subject to be changed/added to/altered at any given time*
Verses:
*also subject to changed/added to/altered at any time*
1. Canon verse- basically Marc as he is on the blog as he hasn't, as of yet, shown up in the hellaverse yet.
2. Human verse- Marc is a human noble and a sort of stand out type. The Marquis is a highly sought after and eligible bachelor, but seems to like being single...
3. Papa Wolf verse- Marchosias has a daughter named Deinara who he must raise alone after the death of her mother. !May also adopt other young ones to take care of!
4. Head of the Court verse- Marc is the head of the Court of Ravens upon his sister's death, before his niece discovers it.
And I believe that's pretty much it! Have fun guys and feel free to send me anything!

Werebelushi:
It has come to my attention that Russell Brand has been targetted as of recent for…behavior he used to do? Aaaaw come on. This is getting ridiculous. So many stupid accusations, you know…if these women claim he actually did those things why did they very much say it to the media instead of you know…the authorities? When Nathan had that document that was made about him in which he accused of being transphobic, a lot of what was said in the document was taking his comments on Avianine's artwork out of context, he wasn't harrassing Avianine…heck, he used to like her up until the Changed shit happened, look, just because he doesn't like Puro or Changed in general doesn't mean he thinks goo transformation in general is bad. And yeah the only reason he got accused of transphobia is because of a rant I did, which is stupid because I very much clarified my very reason for doing the rant.
The reason I did that anime tf rant is because I didn't like the ones I had seen, mainly just because they did nothing for me, oh they were well-written, just come on…can't I get at least one character tf where someone doesn't lose their memories? At the time I did not like the idea of turning into an anime character because of the stories in which those happened and those stories where about some random YCH (Your character here) being forcibly transformed, and that had nothing to do with the author or the artist or anything to do with them. To put things into context, I support any and all gender identies, even non-binary or even if you identify as a floating orb with lots of eyes, when one of Nathan's former friends came out as trans, Mel supported that person. So the accusations of Nathan being transphobic just because of my rant which I admit was terrible and I should have chosen my words more carefully, was bullshit.
And was the grooming thing…okay, so how does a series of RPs with a FICTIONAL character/OC count as grooming? Nothing sexual even happened in those RPs, and besides in context - i'm going to put it like this: Nathan was cursed to turn into a character who in the original source material is a villain and is thus turned evil, in the RPs he very much portrayed the character when cursed as being like that, and yes…he is ashamed to have done that because of the mind change, and he was brainwashed into making said character evil and into a monster like him, it was just an RP and that's not what grooming is. And before you are all 'oh, Nathan's just being a coward and using you as a mouthpiece' and bla ba bla heard those insults before you don't need to use them on me.
And those Pokemon tfs Mel did…those people who documented Nathan for the purpose of humilating him took them out of context. A lot of those people who were turned into Pokemon before, were people from either Encyclopedia Dramatica, Kiwifarms or from the Deviantart forum who made fun of Nathan for numerous stupid reasons including his choice in fursonas, you aren't mean to act like 'oh that's just being a childish douche', especially when all of those people were harrassing HIM and not the other way around. And nobody ever sympathizes with sites like those. You don't see people acting like EZ-PZ is 100% right when he does his bullshit Youtube essays about animation that exist only to ride on the coat-tails of Turkey Tom, do you? And for the record the people on the Deviantart art forum that mocked him, those posts were from SEVERAL FUCKING YEARS AGO, when he was being mocked for trying for his characters. And yes, there were some users characters on here that Mel really hated like Dylan aka the Clown Fetish Guy as I call him and Joe aka The World Domination Guy as I call him, but only because Dylan is a pervert who thinks that clowns and stereotypes are a type of tf or a species and Joe as a character is a jerkass and a whiny brat as a person.
For pete's sake, the person who played Joe very much acted like Nathan was in the wrong for having a different opinion than him over fucking Skyrim and Fire Emblem and ratted him out to BrandonKong, as if Brandon cares about what this person's personal drama at all, Joe, Brandon is your friend, not your personal army or your mother. You can't go telling him to go after every single person who you had a problem with. You claim you respect opinions yet you act like it's wrong for Nathan to hate Skyrim even though he finds it tedious and boring for valid reasons? You act like Mel sucks the fun out of everything? Joe, your character is a dickhead who always attempts to assimilate everyone, if this is supposed to be you as yourself, then I have the feeling nobody is going to believe you are anything but a horrible person. Look, a jerk character can work well, but you aren't Bojack Horseman or Rick Sanchez.
Nathan and Brandon are NOT enemies, he only made fun of Brandon's tastes on occassions and even that was taken out of context because he didn't understand why Brandon used to do all those questionable RPs with people like Joe and Dylan, at the time he thought the RPs were real, and he didn't know Brandon was playing a fictional version of himself…have I ever questioned Brandon's choices in tfs? Yes, a few times. But I didn't say he couldn't like monkeys or apes or that he couldn't hang out with those people. I just hated the RPs, not the person behind them, just the characters he chooses to RP with. I like his OCs, I like Brainy Kong…he is a cool character. It's just the ones we've reviewed on this show, we've treated as actual episodes in-universe and oh boy were those episodes awful…there was the Zootopia one with the sheep orgy, the one that bastardized Nathan's gorilla character and then derailed into one of those grossest sex orgies I had ever seen (not to mention…huh? The real Doctor Gorgo showed up and Brandon's character was a rubber clone of him, and in the previous episode Dylan's character very much Buffalo Billed Brandon by wearing him as a rubber gorilla suit, then there was the one where he tried to make Brandon into a dumb gorilla, for pete's sake the whole middle half of the second sample was just them arguing over and over about Kong names. I mean..Brandon had a point, Kongs have a personality trait and that personality trait goes with their name, being bad-smelling ISN'T a personality trait, it's like if you had a drug-addicted Kong OC and named him Stoney Kong because get it..he's a stoner),
Does it really matter how old Nathan was during the time of the RPs or how old the other person was? No, it isn't..it isn't anyone's buisness to question how old someone else is when they do something like online roleplaying because it's just fictional, it's not real. How many times must I explain this to you? I have nothing against character transformations if you want to turn into a character you like, but do you have to be hypersexual and creepy about it? Do you have to make it so you do mind changes? That's what ruins character tfs, not the person who makes them.
Anyway back to the Russell Brand allegations, me and Russell used to be enemies but now we've gotten along as friends. And honestly, why now? He gave up his rebellious rocker wannabe persona ages ago.

Robin ropes Steve into playing Dungeons and Dragons with a some gay friends she made that are fine with her playing lesbian characters and don’t add homophobia for “realism”. She kept going “but Steeeve this is the only way I can express myself 🥺” until he accepted.
So he played.
Then he realised… he actually likes it? It’s an RP and Story focused campaign with less focus on the fighting aspect, and Steve falls in love with developing his Human Fighter (he’s that bitch). It’s only him and some girls who aren’t his type and he isn’t theirs. It’s the first time (not counting Carol and Robin) he’s able to hang out with girls without having attraction muddying the relationship.
There’s no sexism or homophobia or non consensual touching to PCs, because in their session zero they each discussed their no gos. Steve and Robin even managed to make it so their characters wouldn’t get in situations that reminded them of their time with the Russians.
As time goes one he keeps making characters less and less like him, and he keeps having fun. He and Robin go and play each Friday and they love it.
He befriends the girls, the DM, an out and proud punk named Rosa who Robin met at a record store. A cute cheerleader looking girl named Emma who Steve wouldn’t have guessed played such chaotic edgy characters (she was also the DM’s girlfriend). A short haired redhead band kid called Vicky Steve is SURE Robin has a crush on, and Michelle, a super funny girl who keeps playing bards that will try to sleep with ANY boss and npc.
Then Dustin finds out. He’s betrayed, he’s been asking Steve to join one of Eddie’s campaigns for years! After some guilt tripping and begging, Steve finally accepts with the condition that Robin is there, only to find out… they hate it?
It’s not that bad, but it’s fight focused and while the story is good, there’s barely any role playing, and Robin can’t have gay characters because she’s not out to them.
The world is gritty and dark and Steve just… isn’t interested. He hadn’t been exposed to characters treating women in taverns as objects before and he’s shocked to find out it bothers him?
Steve tells Dustin straight up that he didn’t like it, and their play style was boring to him and the Party is in a state of shock. Eddie understands, telling the party different people have different playing styles but the party is now offended, especially Mike who can’t believe Steve prefers this random punk girl as a DM to Eddie.

You want to know what it’s like writing an original character who is a female?
This is the first ever piece of hate I’ve received and since then it’s only grown.
This is what it’s like writing a female muse in a roleplay fandom, especially a female OC. Everyday many of us are bombarded with anonymous hate calling our muses sluts and whores for wanting to ship something. We’re told that’s all we want to write and shamed for it, and yet when we try to write something platonic, adventurous, or something aside from romance, we’re laughed at because our muses aren’t strong enough to do it.
As female OC’s we do our best and try to find people who will love our muse as much as we do to little or no avail because there is always something new or better that comes up. We never complain or say anything because we don’t want to be a bother. We don’t want to show any emotion because it will only worsen the stigma around us.
Female OC writers are ridiculed for coming up with a character we love and questioned why we’d even do so when no one wants to interact with us, and yet when a male character has a similar story or does a similar plot they’re applauded and cherished.
As female OC’s we have to constantly keep our page looking up to date and spectacular. Our icons need to be flashy and perfect, our writing small and bold, and our homepage more graphic than most people are capable. If we do not do things no one will even look at us.
It’s constantly worrying about saying the wrong thing, about not getting too excited if romance does come our muse’s way. It’s about always having to triple check and wonder if we should reblog the NSFW meme then trying to gather enough courage to face the hate we know we’ll get. It’s worrying constantly about whether or not you can get excited about anything because you don’t want to seem annoying. It’s debating for hours to post a headcanon you were once really excited about, but you’re unsure if anyone actually cares. It’s waiting weeks to receive one meme. It’s watching people you admire never answer yours despite your mutual status.
Day after day we log on and wonder how much we can express our muse. It’s wondering if we should even say anything at all because we know how much the RP world hates female oc’s and we don’t want to give anyone else a reason to. It’s watching your other female oc’s struggle with the exact same problem. It’s every single day wondering if you should just give up on your muse that you worked so hard to create.
We give more than we receive, and we’ve had to learn how to be okay with that because let’s face it we know how to because it’s an issue in the real world too.
So here’s to our strong women in the RPC, muse and mun. I see you all. I support you all.

name : iris pronouns : she/her preference of communication : discord most active muse : right now, ferry and chauvelin. it tends to fluctuate depending on my mood and what's going on in life at the minute. ferry muse is highest right now because... picket lines. say, have you thought about joining a union? experience / how many years : oh, god. been around on tumblr rp since at least 2011, and i roleplayed on ff.net, facebook, foopets, and skype before that. if you really wanna go back further, i started roleplaying through gmail instant messenger with my school friend back when we were twelve. i've been at this hobby for ages. platforms you use : tumblr and discord. best experience : man... probably the process of creating my OC lewis anwyl and his whole story / network of characters. that got me through some rough times in the pandemic. i'm less active on his blog now because of phd pressure, but i still write him a lot on discord. my original angry little welshman before ferry came along. rp pet peeves : uhhhh i've got a few, but one that really grinds my gears is when people assume things about your muse that aren't true and just refuse to listen when you gently tell them that they're godmodding a bit. i had it a lot with lewis, where people would just assume because he's a Ye Olde Medical Man that he must treat patients horribly, hate women, and think every ailment should be treated with cocaine. it happened at least half a dozen times. everyone brings their own understanding and biases to RP, that's only natural, but if someone tells you 'hey you're assuming things about my muse that aren't true,' listen to them. if muses are making the assumption IC, that's fine! i love conflict! but it's when that spills over into OOC that it starts to become a pet peeve for me. fluff, angst, or smut : i love all three, but it depends on mood and muse. some muses just aren't very interested in sex, so i don't write smut with them. others don't let themselves get into fluff situations, so i don't write fluff with them. sometimes i'm in the mood for angst, sometimes i need some cathartic cuddling content. it's all a matter of situation. plots or memes : plots. i really struggle with memes that have no context attached to them. usually, even if a meme is entirely out of the blue, i will end up messaging to plot just a bit before i answer it. long or short replies : medium, 2-3 paragraphs. i do love when people get inspired and write really long replies, but i just... cannot handle that as a sustained thread. not to pull the 'my life is so hard' shit, but doing a phd involves an insane amount of reading and writing. when i want to wind down from a stressful day of research, i don't really want to face a full draft box of 8+ paragraph replies. these days, i prefer to keep it concise. are you like your muses : there's a bit of me in a lot of my muses, especially ocs. there's a bit of me in ferry, there's a lot of me in millie. nothing about me in jacob, though, fuck that guy.
tagged by : @polarean thank u <3 tagging : uhhhh i'm lazy. i'm sharing the means of production with the workers of the world. aka, steal it from me.

I have read a lot of fanfics and character sheets, read/played a lot of rps, and watched a lot of episodes of the show, and because of this I’ve seen lots of different things and tropes, some that I love and some that I hate.
One thing that pisses me off every time I see it anywhere, is when Hunter characters talk about “a world without monsters” like it’s a “good thing”, or have something like “ridding the world of monsters” or “making the world free of monsters” as one of their “goals” or ”dreams”.
Or when there are roleplays/fics/whatever talking about how “good” and “peaceful” a “world without monsters” and/or a “world where the Hunters get more organized and networked and reduce the monster population” is and they portray it as a “good future/post-canon world”.
It is not “good” or “peaceful”! It is not a “good future” or “good post-canon world”! Especially not for anyone who isn’t a “normal” pure-blooded non-powered non-supernatural human!
It's a dystopia, a blood-soaked world founded on genocide! Any so-called "peace" that exists was bought with the blood of millions of men, women, enbies, and children, both innocent and not!
A "world without monsters" means the eradication of everyone who isn't human! Not just the "bad monsters", but all non-humans, from the oldest immortals who are many-times-great grandparents to the youngest newborn babies! And I’m sorry, but I’ll never be able to see it as anything else, or as anything close to “good” or “peaceful”

A GUIDE BARELY ANYBODY ASKED FOR: writing smut foreplay 101.
NOTE: every body is different. every person likes different things, and reacts different ways. i’m writing from my various personal experiences as a Self Assigned Hoe, also the self titled Smut Queen of the rpc. NONE OF THIS IS DEFINITIVE. if you’re unsure- ask your writing partner first. always.
pls be warned this is quite nsfw and straight up Filth. it also is written from my perspective as a cis-gender, pansexual woman.
IMPORTANT OOC STUFF:
always, always keep communication to your rp partner open. consent is sexy. especially with writing.
gauge the mood. if you suggest something to your writing partner and they just say ‘yeah’ or ‘ok’... don’t take it as 100% go ahead. sometimes people, especially in the rpc, will say yes just because they don’t know how to say no. an ENTHUSIASTIC YES is really really good and necessary!!!
vice versa, make sure you tell your partner if you’re not comfortable with something. if you said yes to begin with to writing a scene, but slowly u start feeling uncomfortable and weird... guess what? U CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND!!! I GUARANTEE U NOBODY WILL BE MAD! IF THEY ARE- DUMP THEM AS A WRITING PARTNER! change your mind whenever u want, about whatever u want. writing is meant for u. its meant for u to be comfortable. ur lil safe kinky space, if u so wish it to be!
talk to ur partner. be their pal. be their fwend. writing smut can escalate v quickly, and if ur not an active talker to ur writing partner, then sometimes things can get misconstrued, or uncomfortable. even if it’s just a check in like ‘HEY HOW WAS UR DAY’ or ‘is what im writing ok????? i love when ur character does ___’ or idk. just be comfortable and friendly!!!
u don’t have to write paragraphs and paragraphs of smut. just.. give a lil detail though. give a lil smth to ur writing partner. like any other reply, just writing one sentence is not really enough for another writer to reply to.
GENERAL SEX TIPS THAT I’VE PICKED UP THAT HELP ME WITH WRITING:
anal is super popular and super wanted atm. i’m not going to say it’s a ‘trend’, bc it’s not really. but it’s definitely becoming more and more mainstream. this DOESN’T MEAN u have to do it / write it, but just know that most ppl atm are on the butt train (yahoo!). so.. yeah, expect anal to be a ~written abt thing or Wanted thing
other ‘popular’ kinks i’ve noticed atm (through fb groups im part of and just friends in general) are choking, and spanking. but this is NOT everybody’s kink. just bc it’s ‘popular’ doesn’t mean its right for ur character. kinky, rough sex is becoming more mainstream i’ve noticed.
a handjob is like.... not ever super wanted. it’s a handjob. it’s not the greatest thing in the world. as far as sexy things go, this is basic tier. a handjob is better than nothing, but i don’t rlly know anybody who actively wants a handjob.
same with fingering- look, fingering is fine, and it can get things in motion, but it’s really hard to orgasm from fingering. i’d say borderline impossible, but this is just from me (and, again, the gals in my lives) experience. fingering is GOOD as a beginning saucy movement, just like a handjob is good to begin with.. but climaxing from it is not Super Likely.
cum is messy and gets everywhere. everywhere.
pre-cum is a thing. discharge is a thing. women getting wet is a thing. it’lll happen. it’s messy. it’s a lot sometimes, and it’s really.. slick (idk how else to explain it, but it helps with the MOVEMENT of things greatly). it’s good to write abt bc guess what? it means somebody is turned on! this is GOOD
look a ‘tight vagina’ or whatever u wanna call it, is not a Good Thing, bc it means a person isn’t turned on enough / wet enough
when writing basically anything about genitalia... use spit. oh my god use so much spit. be disgusting with how much spit is there, bc u need that as LUBE (unless ur writing ur characters using lube!!!)
write vocal characters. in my experience, nobody is ever 100% quiet during sexy times. if ur character is being touched in a way they like, trust me- they’ll be moaning. they’ll be rocking their hips. they’ll be whispering more, more, more, yeah, like that etc.
if writing rough sex, have a safe word for the characters ic. practice safe sex even with writing! safe words are rlly good bc they also actually help create a safe ooc environment too!! that way, if somebody doesnt want to say smth ooc, they can say it ic, and hopefully feel more comfortable
write realistic sex. pls. write about the awkward noises. or the accidental wrong movement. or the laughing. sex isn’t always magnificent and beautiful. it’s clumsy and silly. and it’s fun to write it that way, bc.. look, smut is meant to be fun! so make it fun! write it as fun and silly and goofy as u want!!!!
yes cis-men have the prostate and its located in the butthole fdnjkfjkndf. but u can’t write ur character just shoving a finger in a butt. characters, just like people ooc, need to maintain communication before trying anything ‘new’ like that. safe sex everyone!!!
don’t go straight to what’s between the legs. neck kisses. nipples. breasts, back scratch, dirty talk... this is all VERY IMPORTANT to foreplay. don’t ever use write ur characters diving on in, especially not to female muses bc female bodies work v differently. we need waRMING UP! we need a lil teasing.
write hand movement! write where your characters hands are. are they carded through hair? are they gripping sheets? are they clawing at someone’s back? digging into scalps? hands are ALWAYS doing something.
writing about shaving / hair down there is not super necessary, but u do u.
involuntary noises / movements happen a lot when smth is GOOD during foreplay. gasps. moans. cries. hips jolting. mouth falling open.
foreplay is so SO important before sex. in real life, and in smut. if i write with someone and they go STRAIGHT to writing sex, no foreplay, im like ... hewwo ?? this just isn’t realistic, and my coochie clenches.
when writing... make ur characters ask the dumb qs u’d probably ask real life. ‘should i get a condom?’ ‘are you on anything?’ ‘did that hurt?’ ‘can i cum in you?’ ffjnkf u get what i mean? i hope.
cis men do cum pretty quickly, especially compared to women.
showers are fine for sexy times, but WATER is NOT lubricant.
READ FAN FICTION. there’s some really really good fan fiction out there, and it actually does help with ur own writing
if a character likes something and says ‘yeah’ or ‘like that’... that doesn’t mean necessarily to write another character ‘speeding up’ or getting rougher. if somebody likes something ‘like that’, then keep it ‘like that’, or pick up the pace a little as encouragement.
WRITING HAND JOBS / FINGERING:
finger movement on the outside of a vagina is just as important as finger movement on the inside. sometimes it can be more important, bc some people are more sensitive on the outside. (i’m not using technical terms bc nothing abt this post is technical or medical lmao)
if u don’t use lube or spit on ur hand when giving a penis a handjob.. it’ll probably hurt the person a little and be rough and not very Easy on either party
a handjob can be pretty fuckin awkward (i’ve been told + found personally). it’s just two people lying / sitting there, with one hand uncomfortably angled to jack off another person. it’s probably the most silent of all foreplay things which is why every person i know (female, male, cis, non cis) hate handjobs.
ur hand and fingers might cramp a little if ur fingering a female, and the movements might get a little clumsy, but thats OKAY TOO!!!
the angle of ur hand when fingering is important. if ur just shoving it down some pants/ trousers, it doesn’t leave a lot of movement so it won’t be super Great. under a skirt, or better yet- naked, makes things a LOT easier bc u have more Room.
write about the fingers. write about them moving up and down. don’t just rub them over the clit, or have them inside a vagina. that’s not exactly how it works. we need some pressure. we need a little rub. mainly near the clitoris or on the actual clitoris itself
don’t ever start by writing fast movements. u gotta write about building a motion and speed. start slow, then speed it up.
fingering: circular motions over near the clit slowly, then a liiiiittle faster. stroking motions up and down. moving up towards the clit properly, then back down and slowly inserting a finger. then pull the finger out. repeat. keep each movement slow and deliberate and teasing. fdjkndfbnjkdfjnk graphic, i know. but. i mean. that’s a good first foreplay move i’ve found ???
handjob: thumb over the tip first as a lil tease, then slowly roll your hand in a fist motion all the way down the length (keep ur arm in a ‘straight’ movement.) then back up. twist ur hand, especially near the tip. move a little faster if ur lubed up enough, and then u can even give a lil ball squeeze if ur feeling courageous. keep that movement going. the FASTER ur hand moves, the more close somebody will get to orgasm, bc for them it’s sometimes all abt friction.
starting with fingering / a hand job is like the first step of a dance usually. start with hands and fingers, THEN rock on baby, to --
WRITING ORAL SEX:
as previously mentioned, use a LOT of spit or lube. slick that bitch up.
cis-women are never wet constantly. ever. in fact, u can get dry pretty quickly again, so it’s not uncommon to write abt somebody spitting ‘down there’, just like u’d spit on a penis when giving a blowjob.
most cis-men like their balls being played with a lil. so.. dfjnknj write about balls. i know it can be awkward and weird and the word ‘BALLS’ is not sexy. just try mention some movement there. some playing, or squeezing, or whatever word u feel comfortable using. especially during blowjobs. it’s just a good thing to do if u don’t know what to do with ur hands. don’t go crazy and just grab balls really roughly.
if ur writing about a blowjob on a penis, deepthroating is never gonna happen straight off the bat. u gotta warm up ur throat a little, get ur throat to relax inch by inch, and not gag a lot. i promise u can’t just shove a whole dick down ur throat, unless u have the gag reflex of a porn star.
BUT also. write gagging. gagging happens a lot with blowjobs. i’ve never blown a guy who hasn’t loved the sound of gagging / choking a little
jaws ache from oral. it’s a lot of the same movements and exertion, and YEAH IT CAN HURT UR JAW
tongues are ur best friend. a tongue should definitely be mentioned when writing oral on ANYONE.
write about hands AND mouth when writing oral. (use fingers and tongue when writing about going down on a female, and use hand in a fist movement around penis, when writing a blowjob, bc gripping with ur hand what ur mouth can’t reach yet is a+)
when writing a blowjob, focus on balls, yes- but also mention the tip. it’s sensitive for most guys, so a lil swirl of the tongue, or a suck or whatever... that’s good usually!!!
when writing going down on a female- move the tongue a lot. over the clit. then back down. use ur whole damn mouth and get messy. some ppl have a sensitive clit and direct movement onto it can be a lil overwhelming / overstimulating / painful, so yes- clit is good, but it can also be a little too much for some ppl!
write about lips. when going down on someone, lips also create sensations. it’s not the same as TONGUE, obviously, but it’s still soft and warm and it’s definitely something u feel.
if ur writing about eating a girl out: tongues can be soft and flat, or they can a little pointy when u tense them. alternating between these 2 movements can be rlly good and pleasurable. starting soft and flat near the clit is good, before moving down to stick ur tongue in a little, and move it / wiggle it. but trust me - most of the action should be SOFT especially near the clit, bc it’s sensitive.
if you’re writing about a blowjob: suction. and moving quickly. hollow out those cheeks, and write about the tongue moving as the mouth does. suck hard, but not like.... ur character isn’t a vaccuum cleaner. they should suck ‘eagerly’ or whatever, and use their hand and tongue to help them out. trust me ur jaw will lock / hurt, u cannot suck a dick for like an hour.
if u deepthroat a penis enough, ur voice can get pretty fucked up sounding, but i’ve never had it last longer than the next day or so. it just sounds like u’ve got a cold / sore throat (and thats bc u do)
some people just don’t like oral. some people aren’t comfortable in their bodies and can’t get out of their minds when it comes to it- which is super understandable. it’s a very intimate, close thing, bc hello -somebody is staring at ur genitalia basically. so hey, if u don’t wanna write it / don’t like it, then that’s completely chill too!
you don’t have to write about ‘the taste’. in fact, it’s absolutely ok and i’d prefer if u don’t bc i personally think that gets a bit weird. u can mention there IS a taste, but u don’t have to get into particulars bc that can get kinda icky. like ... it’s genitalia. we all know it won’t taste like a peach or whatever.
cis-women orgasm from oral sex, i think sometimes more often than they orgasm from actual penetrative sex? this is based off things i’ve read, and again, my own experience.
oral sex can take a loooong ass time to reach orgasm sometimes. it’s barely ever a two-reply-thread piece. it’s always gonna be longer then that, if ur writing it realistically. sometimes reaching climax during oral, for any gender, can take anywhere up to an hour ??? if we’re being generous ??? again, cis men are more likely to cum first, BUT good oral sex can be dragged on for a while, for anybody.
WRITING ASS / ANAL STUFF:
im gonna say it straight up. yes. it kinda feels like pooping almost when somebody fingers ur butt. but in a weirdly.. good way. idk how to describe it.
getting fingered in the ass is SLOW work. a finger will NOT just go in, especially not DRY. u need saliva / lube. you need the other person to be relaxed, or breathing, and u need to coax them through it all.
u don’t really know whats going on back there if ur on the receiving end. like. u can’t TELL by feeling on what’s going on. real talk: a guy fingered me once and i thought it was two fingers, but it was 3, and then later- when he put his dick in it was fine as well bc he’d relaxed me and gotten me to feel rlly comfortable and Safe. so TRUST me thats important when writing butt stuff. i can’t stress it enough.
it feels Strained. like it isn’t necessarily painful the entire time, but u can FEEL very full. so yeah, nobody is gonna have a finger in their ass and then immediately be ready for another, or be bouncing back , knuckle deep. u need a lot of patience and time for this.
if ur a cis-female... butt stuff is Fine, but its not a way to achieve orgasm, bc honestly there’s nothing stimulating u. it feels nice and the Roughness can be a kink, but u probably won’t orgasm / cum from it
use a lot of spit and a LOT of lube
u can’t just shove a dick / multiple fingers in someones ass either. u gotta stretch it out. take ur time. it literally can take an hour + sometimes more to get someone relaxed and stretched out enough. the amount of spit / lube and fingering needed is ridiculous
when it comes to ass stuff- make sure ur character is BREATHING in order to relax their muscles. everytime they’re relaxed, everything moves easier (this just goes for sex stuff in general too!)
eating ass is a thing, and look- ur not meant to ‘douche’ regularly bc apparently it’s bad for u. so if ur writing abt anal / butt stuff, u do NOT need to write abt anything poopy related or any of the douching stuff. its a silent rule, just like in real life. we don’t talk abt it djknfgnkjd
honestly, the overall feeling of Butt Stuff is just one of being Full and a lil Stretched, and if ur into Pain / a very different feeling then it’s a Good Feeling bc it just is all abt trusting n putting ur body in someone else’s hands (and fingers)
getting ur ass eaten feels warmer / more pleasurable than fingers bc a tongue in general is just nicer and softer then fingers are.
spread them cheeks, boys, girls and non gender conforming folk
if ur gonna touch a cis-girls ass with ur tongue or fingers or anything... pls make sure ur stimulating her clit at the same time. i promise that can make things speed up in terms of relaxation and pleasure v quickly.
always ask a cis-male before going near his ass (but also in general, always ask before doing anything), especially rlly Straight Dudes bc they get SUPER defensive abt their own ass being touched
anal stuff can be GREAT for foreplay just bc it’s a bit risque and it’s a bit Rougher and Harder just bc it’s a tighter hole. so, honestly yeah a lil finger in the ass whilst being eaten out isn’t terrible, or being fingered there at the same time as being fingered elsewhere can also feel pretty Spicy, depending on ur taste
for cis-men, butt stuff can be a VERY quick way to orgasm. especially if ur blowing them / stroking them at the same time
anal / ass stuff isn’t for everyone. don’t write it if ur not comfortable. don’t do it if ur not comfortable.
WRITING AN ORGASM:
the body shakes, tenses, spasms and generally loses a little bit of control
ur grip turns very intense and Harsh
back arching is a Thing
hands yanking at hair is a Thing
for when a cis-man orgasms... it can happen quite suddenly, but it’ll be a little twitch, and u can FEEL them tense. fast movement is what usually gets them to orgasm Quicker, i’ve found.
for everybody else, i feel like it can be harder to achieve orgasm, but when it happens- your legs get all tense and squeeze the SHIT out of the head between them, and u definitely make some noise. orgasm can just happen, and sometimes with women especially.. it’s kinda easier to fake orgasm bc there’s never truly a Way To Tell physically???? this could be entirely wrong, of course, but there’s SO MUCH discussion and research based on the female orgasm that i feel like i can’t write anything abt it here bc it’s SO different for everyone.
just follow the general rule: ‘you’ll know when it happens’. ‘you’ll know when you know’.
orgasms won’t always happen. it can get CLOSE but not happen, and it’s not always some big disappointing, ‘blue-balls’ event. it happens, or it doesn’t. sometimes u can write amazing head, and the other character won’t cum, and u know what? that’s ok too.
#rph#rpc#im probably forgetting so much stuff#anyways pls dont be mean JKDFJNKFJN#im just a wh*re#with my wh*re experiences and life.#i dont know EVERYTHING ok so if i got smth wrong or worded smth wrong#let me know#guide#smut guide#smut help

@treppenwitzz asked: i need all the deets about your bellatrix... ALSO ANJI i wanna know more about anji | MEME.
So... this ended up really long and therefore it’s under the cut! I sort of left out the “who they could get along with” part but I also feel like that really just depends on verses and such, so we can totally discuss that sometime 🥺🥺🥺
Bellatrix Lestrange
TW for mentions of alcohol, abuse, death and miscarriage
TROPES/ARCHETYPES: The Champion, Femme Fatale
Bellatrix is the very first muse that I officially wrote on indie, but also a muse that I’ve explored in the many group rps I’ve been in in the years before that. Because of that, she’s been through a lot of changing and tweaking over the years, but I like what I’ve got going for her now.
I’m absolutely a big fan of villain characters and I support the humanizing of them because in my mind, it is all the more terrifying that a villain could like the same things as you, could be like you, but be capable of such terrible things. I think it creates a frightening perspective that’s the quiet sort of terrifying, and it’s what I aim to do with Bella. I wanted to create a villainous woman who is powerful without being sorry for it.
I do want to stress that a villain doesn’t necessarily become worthy or deserving of pity or redemption because their story contains sad aspects. In the end, everyone encounters terrible and sad things in life, and it’s what you do with these experiences that matters. If you become bitter or vengeful, that is a decision, and the consequences of however you decide to treat the world after are not cancelled out because of the reason why you became this way.
On the one hand, she is this terrifyingly powerful witch who, despite her comparatively young age, climbed up the ranks of the death eaters to the position of lieutenant at Voldemort’s side, but on the other she is someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, someone’s wife. I wanted to explore how these two aspects of her story intertwine, or, in some cases, clash.
My Bella is a bit canon-divergent in that I absolutely refuse to write a woman who’s completely submissive to a man, especially one that doesn’t deserve it. Of course, I don’t want to stray too far from her original arc in that I still believe she’s absolutely starstruck by Voldemort, but she is more interested in his abilities, his mind and his cunning than she is in him as a partner. It’s a different kind of infatuation, where she isn’t all too sure if she wants him or wants to BE him. In time, she settles with neither, and becomes his champion, instead. She’s a knight under his banner, a soldier under his command.
Much of Bella’s arc comes down to a dominant woman living in a society that doesn’t like dominant women. Pureblood circles are catered to the pureblood man, whereas the woman’s job, much like in societies of previous eras, is to bear a husband's children to continue the pureblood line. It’s a crude and sexist thing, and Bella wants none of it. From a young age, she rebels against her father’s firm beliefs in the way things are supposed to be, and rebels against her mother’s attempts to “guide” her back to how she’s supposed to be. She’s the feral child with the holes in her dresses, the scrapes on her legs from climbing trees and running too fast. Her long hair always tangled and messy. She knows that as a girl in the Black family, the highest achievement would have been to become matriarch, but even that wasn’t ever going to be enough for Bella.
When her mother dies, about two years after the birth of Narcissa, the matriarch of the Black family, Walburga, takes over the role for a short amount of time while her father drinks his grief away. After Sirius is born, however, even this steadiness falls away, as their aunt spends her full time caring for him and the second son, Regulus, born a year after. This leaves Bella to assume responsibility for her sisters at the age of 8. Her fights with her father, their temperaments going head to head resulting in situations I don’t really care to divulge about.
Once accepted into Hogwarts is where things start to divert. From one day to the next, her previously always messy hair is neatly combed back into a braid. Her clothes are pristine, not a spot in sight, and her sharp commentary is kept to a minimum. To all those around her, it seemed she had finally heeded her mother’s wishes, and embraced her place in society. But to those who knew her well enough, to her sisters and to her cousins, there was a stubborn fire burning behind those crow-black eyes, burning higher and brighter the more time passed. It was only a matter of time until the fire either consumed her, or consumed those around her.
It was at the age of 17, during her last year at Hogwarts, that Bellatrix was introduced to the Dark Lord. She’d seen him before, of course, but the Black family had stoically kept their stance on the matter of his campaign neutral, although this wouldn’t last. Her fiance-to-be, Rodolphus, who was a few years her senior, had already joined the ranks, and Voldemort’s actions could no longer be brushed off as a mere whim by the family. And Bella, who desired more than the life of a housewife, saw this as an opportunity to lift herself up.
I want to stress that I, as both a Tom Riddle and Bellatrix writer, don’t think their dynamic was of a romantic or lustful nature at all at this point in time, if ever. Voldemort saw the fire and the potential, and decided that he wanted both of these things for himself, for his ranks. She exceeded expectations and he decided that, if anyone was worthy to be his student, it was her. Over the course of the next two years, he trained her in the dark arts, eventually revealing her, at the age of nineteen, to be his new lieutenant. This was met with some resistance, of course. but Bella was quick to silence that. After all, she had risen above her station, and it had taken effort. She was not about to lose that to a bunch of butthurt men.
It’s also around this time that she marries Rodolphus, whom she puts through the ringer for months before and even post-marriage. She hated the idea of being passed from one man (her father) to another (her husband), as if she is nothing more than a possession. The marriage was arranged, and this bothered her, too, considering her lack of choice in the matter. And because she couldn’t exactly fight her father on it, she fought Rodolphus instead. On every turn, hoping he would be turned off and cancel it. After all, a man’s voice, even if he was only an heir, and not patriarch, still sounded louder than a woman’s voice ever would. But it only seemed to invigorate him, pulling closer the more she pushed. As if he were attracted to the fire, wanted to scorch himself just to stand in the light. He never forced her and he never would, even as she refused to let him into their marriage bed for months, even as she taunted him and ridiculed him. The marriage, in time, seemed to grant her a certain freedom that she never had as a daughter of house Black. She could go where she pleased, do as she pleased, pursue her position among the death eaters as she wanted to. She lost her wariness towards him, her anger. And eventually, she learned to love him.
Bellatrix used to be closest to her sister Andromeda. The two of them were, for a long time, practically inseparable, two halves of a whole. It was as if they should have been twins, and what one lacked, the other would possess. Where one went, you could soon expect the other to be. That was, of course, until Andromeda defected. When she did, Bella’s whole world collapsed. Her castle was captured from the inside, by sadness, by grief and by anger at the deceit. Because Andromeda hadn’t chosen her. Had chosen a “filthy mudblood” instead of her own sister, who had always cared for her, always been there for her. If Bella had had a mean streak, before, it was now full blown, a riptide that would destroy everything and everyone that didn’t get out of her way. She was devastated by the loss, and would never quite recover from it. This event had a huge impact on her view on muggleborns. Whereas before she allowed herself a certain tolerance, where she still viewed herself as holier than but limited her disdain to snooty looks and haughty comments, she now was actively hostile, threatening and garnering a reputation among the ranks of the death eaters for her ruthless, cruel actions.
During her marriage, Bella was pregnant exactly 4 times, but all 4 pregnancies ended up miscarriages fairly early on. It’s my belief that her problems stem from the inbreeding within the family and the English pureblood society in general. Contrary to her other beliefs on the woman in pureblood society, she was interested in being a mother and had the motherly instinct to go with it. Her not being capable of bearing children left her feeling devastated and hardened her heart. In AUs where she does have children, whether of her own or adopted, she develops a sort of caution, a knowledge that she isn’t just responsible for herself, but for this child as well. In these AUs, it keeps her out of Azkaban.
Speaking of Azkaban, I usually don’t write about her time there or really post-Azkaban, and this is mostly because I hate the narrative that she’s “crazy”, and I think it’s harmful towards people who have mental health problems. I believe, due to how Azkaban’s dementors suck the happiness out of people and how Azkaban looks like hell on earth, she suffers from a form of PTSD, but she is not “crazy”.
A few loose facts about her:
is bisexual but leans towards men
loves to write poetry, but she never shows it to anyone.
has a very low tolerance for alcohol and barely drinks.
loves coffee and can’t function without drinking it every morning
is obsessed with taking care of her hair. It’s long and dark and very well-maintained
loves to wear red lipstick
forced herself to learn to use her wand with both her left and her right hand
Anji Terryll
TROPES/ARCHETYPES: The Antihero, The Living Legend, The Reluctant Hero
Anji is actually one of my older muses, who doesn’t see the light of day often because I suppose the Skyrim fandom is sort of dead. On top of that, she’s a female oc. i don’t think i’ll need to explain this. Regardless of that and the lack of information I’ve put online about her ( which I actually seek to remedy by writing this ), she’s a quiet favorite who will never disappear from my roster.
I wanted to create a person who fate had been thrusted upon unwillingly. I wanted to create a woman who had never planned to do anything that didn’t benefit herself in life. Anji’s early life consisted of what was barely a life at the orphanage in Riften, where she watched the Thieves Guild lift jewelry from a man’s pocket with the man none the wiser. She never entertained the idea of being an honest worker, because she’d seen how the jarl treated honest workers. Of course, she knew that if she were to be caught thieving, the storm she’d call over herself would be worse, but that was only if she was going to be caught.
So she got herself into the Thieves’ Guild, worked her way up the ranks to Guild Master, before, near the border, she was caught stealing a horse and shipped off to Helgen, where the main story begins.
Anji is, from the start, reluctant about her supposed fate. She never believed in prophecies and rarely in Gods and now, everything was real, everything was true. And she was the main character of a legend. Thrust into a role she doesn’t think fit her. She isn’t who these people deserve, a thieving woman who serves only her own benefit. The people deserved a selfless knight, advocating for the survival of mankind, believing so wholly in oneself that they could overcome a legendary monster like Alduin the World-Eater. Someone who isn’t her. So she rejects her abilities, rejects her destiny, and pretends for months that she isn’t the one the Greybeards are calling from the Throat of the World.
And for a time, it works. For a time she can focus on the physical gain, the money she earns, the reputation. But in the back of her mind, the knowledge scratches at the door she keeps it behind. She sees the destruction the dragons are causing all over Skyrim, the terror of the people. The loss of morale. She tells herself that she decides to see what these Greybeards have to say, if only to tell them they’ll need to find someone else.
But she comes to learn that there is no one else. There is only her and her bow, and her lack of morale, against an ancient dragon.
Anji is the Reluctant Hero, the Unlikely Hero, not the woman you’d expect when one mentions the Dovahkiin. She’s slight and flighty, quick as a whip with her twin blades, relying on speed above strength. She prefers sneaking through the shadows instead of fighting her way through boldly and openly, and she never starts fights she can’t win. This doesn’t mean she won’t kill, and doesn’t mean she won’t use her powers, even for personal gain. She enjoys the power of the Voice and, as lore suggests, overtime grows more and more powerful (think: her voice can at some point burn the ice off a mountain), but she hates the responsibility that comes with it and will never fully accept it. She’s practical and quick-witted, more on the serious side of the spectrum, although she possesses a funny streak that only shows up in intimate settings ( think: close friends/guild/lovers ) or when she’s completely drunk. She observes each angle of a job or mission before proceeding, wanting to be ahead of each trap she might run into.
A few loose facts about her:
is bisexual but leans towards women
has absolutely no interest in bearing children, adopting is fine though
favors her bow over her twin blades
carries two daggers in each boot
In some verses she can be a werewolf for absolutely no other reason other than that i can
in modern verses she owns a martial arts school
Play smart not hard

THE POSITIVE & NEGATIVE; Mun & Muse - Meme.
fill out & repost ♥ This meme definitely favors canons more, but I hope OC’s still can make it somehow work with their own lore, and lil’ fandom of friends & mutuals. Multi-Muses pick the muse you are the most invested in atm. tagged by: stolen from @dansiere tagging: @ghiassan, @deathsreflection, @altuspavus, @windrunnerrs (velanna), @hopewrought, @willbeshot, @seahaloed (iron bull), @asterfed (noctis), @ anyone who wants to steal it! also multis feel free to choose a different character
My muse is: canon / oc / au / canon-divergent / fandomless / complicated (i’m open to roleplaying with non-dragon age characters, and have AUs for other fandoms)
Is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO. solas is both wildly popular and wildly hated. he’s been more consistently popular than the controversial women in the series, like sera or vivienne, who have only recently begun to get to the point where their tags are less vitriolic (although i’m sure it’s still out there), but there’s still a sizable hatedom that can’t have his name breathed in their vicinity w/o them talking abt how much they hate him. even if you’re currently cosplaying him!
Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. again, you have ppl who are super into him and ppl who think he’s ugly. my personal opinion is that i think he’s weirdly pretty, and wish ppl would commit more to his unconventional features rather than try to chisel him into sb more traditionally attractive and that ppl who don’t find him attractive would maybe chill w/ calling him ugly. find him unattractive by all means, but lets embrace the fact that inquisition let their love interests have skin flaws etc and accept that some won’t be our cups of tea.
Is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. its hard to deny at this point tbh.
Are they underrated? YES / NO / IDK. frustrating as the hate in the tags he has enough fans that i couldnt say he’s underrated w/ a straight face.
Were they relevant for the main story? YES / NO. he’s the reason the game starts with a bang and not the inevitable dissolution of the conclave b/c the sides are disparate.
Were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. regardless of solas’ relationship with the inquisitor, there are parallels and contrasts in their stories and he also is the reason they survive inquisition.
Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. fen’harel is well-known and revered, if feared, among the dalish, yet at the same time he’s not remembered for a lot besides locking the gods away-- and the context of that decision has also been lost. as solas he’s relatively unknown until inquisition and especially trespasser.
How’s their reputation? GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. again, polarising!! he has loyal agents and people are willing to speak well of him despite everything, including his enemies sometimes (depending mostly on the inquisitor).
How strictly do you follow canon? — generally i try to have a canon basis for my interpretation, even if i interpret the text differently than the author.
SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — solas is an immortal who is simultaneously jaded and very much invested in the small moments of life. far from being weary of the day-to-day lives of ordinary people, it is systems and orders he is most tired of. he walks an interesting line that feels far less misanthropic than other immortal characters i’ve experienced, yet still he’s quite cynical. as a character who has fought against religious based tyranny before, but in a completely different era, he is in a unique position where what he sees around him is both horrifyingly familiar and yet completely new. it allows an exploration of the wrongs of thedas’ society from an outsider’s perspective. his motivations are complex and multifaceted, often condemnable and yet also understandable. his character arc in inquisition (if befriended, or regardless in the case of my solas) takes him from a dispassionate, disconnected antagonist to someone deeply invested in the people of thedas, deeply conflicted and actively hoping he will be proven wrong again. i think his story is a testament to human (or elven, or dwarven, or-) connection and how even when we resist we can’t resist creating bonds with the people in our lives. i personally see this bond going beyond the inquisitor hence why i play low-approval solas as conflicted as high-approval, if not when it comes to the inquisitor.
Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — solas is selfish and motivated solely by revenge, he’s clinging to a past that clearly no longer exists, if you ignore all the people from it who are still alive. he’s totally unaware of all his flaws and never owns up to any mistakes ever. no, i haven’t listened to a single word solas has said in my life why do you ask. he’s also critical of my faves which means he’s #cancelled, there is clearly no validity to what he’s saying. ksjdf no but in all seriousness i think a lot of reasons ppl don’t find solas interesting are just... weird readings of his character that sometimes have no basis in the text of inquisition, but also there are plenty of perfectly valid reasons to not find him interesting. usually those ppl don’t like... talk abt how much they don’t find him interesting constantly tho. they just chill and aren’t invested in this particular villain. for one thing i think the game missed out on opportunities for exploring how someone who may not have even had a body at the beginning of his existence would feel about gender and sexuality, so making him presumably straight and cis was a boring choice. i also think that the dragon age games being very protagonist-centric hurts solas’ character, there’s no real reason why the inquisitor is the only one who can throw his plans into question but making the player the center of the universe means he’s not allowed to change due to the effects of other companions or NPCs. thank god this is rp and i do what i want.
What inspired you to rp your muse? — i have a history degree so when the inquisition companions were being teased, solas describing bias in primary sources from the memories he’s seen got me interested in him. but my first playthrough i didn’t actually take him with me all too often, i think my main party was dorian-blackwall-varric. i liked him, and i think he or dorian were my first friends in skyhold, but my initial interest was in other characters. between his dialogue that appealed to the historian in me tho and how his spirit opinions sort of turned everything i’d felt about spirits in the last two games on its head, i started vibing with him more the farther i went in. like merrill set me up for the “spirits are people” thing and solas hit it out of the park. then temple of mythal happened, and i did bring solas with me there. i found his dialogue fascinating and also suspicious, i’d just finished masked empire like the day before da:i came out so i definitely thought solas was an ancient elf in the same vein as felassan. it was after temple of mythal that i actually decided to make his blog, although like as one idk linchpin to cement my status as solas trash... i was hit BAD by the banter bug on my first playthrough, probably got like a dozen banters total. but then at some point late in the game i took solas to the forbidden oasis and he wouldn’t stop talking to people, and i really loved his banter with the rest of my party at the time.
What keeps your inspiration going? — replaying inquisition, new DA content when the bioware gods deign to grant us a lifeline, but the biggest thing is my rp partners. i wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the people i write with, new and old. my activity of late hasn’t been the best, work and the summer heat has really been sapping me of energy, and does even during years when we aren’t going through a pandemic. but it’s the thought of my rp partners and love of solas that keeps me coming back.
Some more personal questions for the mun.
Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.
Do you think you give your character justice? YES / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? i have my doubts sometimes, but i think i do ok.
Do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO / SORT OF? there is no headcanon too small for me.
Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO. but not lately * gestures to the low activity * i’ve been in this cycle where i get anxious abt late replies, so prioritise them, then burn myself out and can’t write the fics i want. i’ve had two i’ve been DYING to write tho i just... need to find the space in my brain to let myself.
Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO. i mean it depends on the day. if i work closing shifts at my store it gets very quiet and boring around 8:30 so i spent the next 90 minutes thinking about character stuff.
Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF?
Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO / SOMETIMES.
Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO / SORTA.
Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal? — i’m going to say ‘no’ because like, i don’t ask for criticism. this is a hobby based on my interpretation of a character, if you think i write solas too soft then you’re welcome to think that, but i’m happy with the balance i’ve struck with his internal versus external behaviour and how he changes based upon who he’s speaking to. if you think i’m erasing straight people by making solas pan then ksjdfs. ok.
Do you like questions, which help you explore your character? — yes!!! even if they retread ground already trodden, a) my interpretation may have adjusted since the last time i played or b) a reminder is nice. if it’s new stuff then it’s fun to think about.
If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why? — it’d depend on why they disagree. if they just disagree on a subjective opinion about what i took from a certain line, then they’re welcome to their opinion but i don’t necessarily care to hear it. if it is unintentionally hurtful then i would like to know. although rather than a comment i’d rather a non-anonymous message.
If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — same as the above.
If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — if they’re vocal about it i typically just unfollow / softblock if i was following in the first place. people can feel how they want about solas, but i’ve found over the years that if people really hate solas ooc it can often bleed into their ic interactions. it’s really weird seeing your character being brought up repeatedly in threads with others specifically to dunk on, for no reason other than i guess solas is living rent free in their heads, so at least we have that in common. but anyway unfollowing is just the best choice to avoid getting kinda pressed if i’m having a bad day.
Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — roleplay is the wild west of writing, so i think it’d depend on what the error was. coming at me like “you shouldn’t start a sentence with a preposition” would get a laugh, but i don’t edit my replies much if at all and mistakes will 100% happen. pointing out typos is chill so long as you do it politely.
Do you think you are easy going as a mun? — it depends! i’ve learned that being too easy going actually just means i’m subjecting myself to negative emotions to please people. so i’ve gotten less easy going as the years go by. how does one define “easy going” anyway? does asking that question mean i am objectively not easy going? the longer this thought goes on the more the answer seems to be “probably not,” but i like to think it could be a lot worse.

advent calendar rp meme
→ day four: a female character (of mine)

→ Satine 'Wisteria’ Moreau
Satine is a character that I rarely go without any muse. Her growth over the years has been an absolute pleasure to experience in part to the amazing writing of my partner, @vacuitas. From her relationship with Nolan to her enemies turned friends and such, Satine has continued to evolve into a woman that has found a new meaning life.
From an early age, Satine has long tasted the bitterness that is abandonment and rejection. Her origins begin with a prostitute who did not desire neither her or her half-brother Tristan let alone their fathers. Exposed to unsultry living arrangements and drugs, the children served no purpose other than to steal from distracted clients during their mother’s services. Despite their dedication to fulfill her requests, the motherly love Satine and her brother desired was never received. In fact, Satine cannot recall a moment where her mother had called her by her birth given name aside from one evening where she, along with Tristan, had been sold off to a strange man. A man that, soon enough, would became their ‘adoptive’ father and mentor to a world neither child would escape from.
Damien, Satine’s older adoptive brother, often joined them in each regiment of their training. From theft to murder, Satine was well groomed to adapt in a cruel world. Her need for survival far surpassing all emotions. Her mentality molded to simply defy the instinct of ‘flight-or-fight’ and act upon ‘fight’ alone. Through harrowing abuse, starvation, psychological and emotional trauma, Satine stood among the top of her rank. Childhood fears were numbed. Her emotions forcefully kept under lock and key where they would remain as unnecessary traits. After all, a creature of the underworld has no need for a heart. To feel is to be weak. To be weak meant death.
By her mid-teenage years, Satine’s ability to complete tasks had surpassed all expectations. Her dedication and loyalty to the ‘family’ who had adopted her proven by a death of a local politician. A death in which she had been more than willing to cause despite the long standing history of friendship among the two houses. Satine asked no questions nor did she display remorse. She felt nothing for ending the life of a man she had known for over a decade of her life. In the eyes of the Moreau family, she had passed her test and was prepared to leave their ‘care’.
For years, Satine has served to take on assignments by the highest bidder. Men, women, child -- none of it matters in her eyes. If the client is willing to shell out a pretty penny then it will be completed. Satine has more than happily exploited the weaknesses of others. Some might even say she derived pleasure from watching her prey fall into her trap. Torture, while unnecessary in certain cases, is often a method she will use. A habit that has been well engrained into her from extensive training from the Moreau leader. It is only by the request of her adoptive brother that Satine has bothered to contract herself with a facility under the belief it will further enhance her abilities. After all, the world is filled with predators. If Satine desired to survive, she needed to sacrifice her humanity.
This mentality continued for a handful of years. During the process of entering this program, Satine had an unexpected encounter with a strange man named Nolan. It is through him that things soon began to change within Satine. Unfamiliar emotions began to grow. Anxieties she had long buried suddenly began to trickle. Her confidence wavered. Try as she might, Satine could not make sense of what was happening to her nor could she find the strength to stop it. The slew of emotions began to create instability in the once cold-hearted killer. Minor mistakes were committed and emotions began to override logical thinking. Somehow, after months, Nolan had managed to crawl under her skin and take hold of a piece within she did not know existed.
Unable to stop herself, Satine began to spend more time with him. Her humanity slowly returning as a relationship soon blossomed. Her empty-shell of a life suddenly felt as though it had purpose ... until his attack and disappearance. With Satine’s lack of coping mechanisms, she fell into a spiral of desperation, depression and rage. Emotions clouded all judgment once more. Through threats and pressure, the previous supervisor of the program was forced to increase the experimental serums on her. Satine utilized all resources possible to locate information with external assistance. And once names and data had reached her, Satine began her hunt.
Anger. Hate. Fear. It all fueled her in every torture she drew out on all the victims. Their cries for mercy music to her ears. Far as she was concerned, they were the reason her lover had left. They were the cause for his suffering and near death ... but she was wrong. Nolan’s return had shocked Satine back to her senses. And suddenly, for the first time in her life, she learned what it was like to feel remorse. Not only for the lives she had taken but the lies told to her lover. To this day, it is a habit that Satine has found difficult, if not impossible to break.
Satine has learned to deal with her emotions but does continue to struggle in maintaining their stability. Her fears often have a way of leading Satine to making rash decisions such as planning behind Nolan’s back with Talon. There is no hiding the desperation in the hopes to find a cure for her lover. It is because of him that Satine has suddenly begun to desire a life that was thought to be lost. A simple, mundane life with someone at her side ... -- there is no other dream she hopes to achieve than this.
After Nolan proposed, Satine has worked tirelessly to find a clue to locating a cure. Her heart, once hidden behind a vault, allows itself to be open with Nolan. And it is only recently that she has sought advice and to talk out through her uncertainties with Vice, Sofia and Talon. No longer afraid to love, Satine gives everything to her fiancée. Every action and decision is based on her loyalty and affection for him. Even now, despite the existence of their relationship and how it stands against all her teachings, Satine is determined to cherish him. Nolan’s life has taken precedence over her own, a choice that Satine has never made in her life beforehand.
The growth Satine has experienced through the years is immense. Satine has learned to love with all her being and is willing to put herself in harm’s way for others, especially Nolan. This drastic change goes against everything she has ever known. While there have been whispered concerns regarding this shift in her behavior, Satine maintains her stance. Her abilities continuously honed but no longer to serve a bidder. Instead, it is for the sole purpose of protecting those she loves.

11, 14 and 19 gimme your salt, deliver it to me yum
SALTY ASK MEME

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
I mean.. Heidegger? Haha. And that is mostly your fault. Like I said, I liked him because I always like a good villain (and a tall guy in a uniform) but YOU really made me love him. I keep surprising random people by mentioning him in the same breath as canon characters. Why?? Because he’s super interesting!! And I love that dichotomy of him being all scary dangerous powerful man and pathetic broken lapdop at the same time. You made him such a multi-faceted character I learn new things every day <3
I’m not sure I know the fandom well enough to be able to tell who is unpopular and who isn’t. Outside the RPC I always felt that Rude was a bit unpopular and I really love him (before Remake came out, I suppose). I just love this bad boy with a golden heart thing he’s got going on. And I absolutely LOVE his relationship with Reno. This partners now and forever / parabatai trope always gets me. And he’s so mysterious too! I wish we knew more about him. At the same time I enjoy making up my own ideas about him :D Roche seems unpopular actually??? And I absolutely ADORE him. I’d pay extra money to have him in the Remake Part 2. I love everything about him; the way he talks, the way he just goes fuck my job I like this blonde boy I’ll help him because he’s MINE to fight? He’s straight out of One Piece and I’m so here for it.
Can’t really think of anyone else!
14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
You know what seems to be an unpopular opinion around here? That everyone’s really good at their portrayal and at writing. I see so many posts by people being anxious about their writing and their particular portrayals EVERY DAY and I just sit here not getting it at all. You’re all so fantastic and talented and dedicated and passionate. What’s stopping you from seeing it yourselves? Sorry if that wasn’t salty enough for you, but wait for the next question, Han.
19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?
The same I hate in all the fandoms I was in: the ship hate. It’s kind of subtle here, compared to other fandoms I’ve been in, but it’s there. Everyone is entitled to an opinion on any ship, everyone is free to hate what they want, I honestly don’t care if you hate all my OTPs. As long as you stay polite about it. I’m a little worn down from my previous fandom and probably extra touchy I suppose, but I just find making public posts calling people strange / sick / deranged because they ship something you don’t ship, really fucking unnecessary and rude. ESPECIALLY when you then tag it with the characters and/or ship. Just, don’t do that, bro. Don’t be like that. Don’t like it? Don’t follow those people. Don’t look at the tag. Blacklist it. Maybe stop being a baby. I understand if a ship makes someone genuinely UNCOMFORTABLE (because age gap, familial relation of any sort, dubious con/sent, you name it - there are plenty of things that make people uncomfortable) that they want to really not see it. But if it’s just something you dislike I find it a bit dramatic to treat it like the demon plague that needs to be exorcised from existence.
Actually I find the shipping culture here (and in other fandoms) wild in general at the moment.
I grew up during a time where fandom meant watch canon, ignore canon and write your own stuff inspired by canon. The ships we loved were never the canon ones and no one had delusions about them ever becoming canon. Ever. We all knew Harry would never bone Draco; we knew Aragorn would marry Arwen and not Legolas; we knew Naruto and Sasuke kissed because fanservice but they wouldn’t end up a couple. Therefore no one was weirdly offended when someone wrote a non-canon ship (in RP or fanfic), as if it was suddenly competition for the canon one?? Like, what world do you live in? This is FANON, RP, FANFIC. It’s not REAL. I mean none of it is real, but this is even LESS real than canon. Nothing that happens here is in any way a threat to canon, so why get offended over it? Also let’s put a general ban on hating m/m ships because they’re “erasing female muses” - no, they don’t. They all exist in our bullshit plane of fan creation, on the same level. Let’s stop hating f/m ships because they “get in the way” of your fave m/m ship - this makes no sense. The existence of one ship does not make another one less valid. I can ship Rufus with Tseng, Reno, Scarlet, Reeve and Heidegger in 5 different verses and love them all equally and it literally has no impact on anyone except me and my rp partners. And if another Rufus decides to ship Ru only with female muses, that has no impact on me and my ships. Neither of us have any impact on canon. Please just stop.
Let’s stop acting as if older characters/people can’t fall in love or have sex. Let’s stop as if age gaps are a wild bizarre thing that never happens anywhere ever. Look at your grandparents (or even parent generation I guess) generation - I bet you’ll find a LOT of at least 10 year age gaps. Are you disgusted by your grandparents/parents? [That being said, let’s please normalize women dating younger men as much as it’s normal if an older guy dates a younger woman. But that’s not a fandom problem, that’s a general society issue.] Let’s stop calling someone homophobic because they choose to play their muse straight. Not writing everyone as queer does not equal homophobia. Let’s stop acting as if people who write a lot of smut are somehow worse rpers than people who write little or no smut. At the same time let’s normalize not wanting to write smut. It’s not a requirement and not everyone likes it !!! Just talk to your partners and make sure everyone is comfortable and having fun with whatever you’re doing !! Stop judging each other and being so mean to each other, it’s awful.
Stop hating so much. Focus more on what you love and less on what you hate and you’ll immediately make life easier for you and for others.
It’s just shipping. Fictional fantasy shipping. It’s not worth getting so hateful over.

My muse is: canon / oc / au / canon-divergent / fandomless /
Is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO / Depends. I think fans usually love Sonia or hate her.
Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK.
Is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES / NO / In some aspects.
Are they underrated? YES / NO.
Were they relevant for the main story? YES / NO.
Were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO /
Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO.
How’s their reputation? GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL / Verse-dependent. Mostly good, unless Despair-verse or post-Neo World Program/post-SDR2 for canon verses or Talentswap!AU for my Ultimate Mafia Boss AU. Sonia's reputation is pretty terrible in these.
How strictly do you follow canon?
I do the best I can, considering that for most Danganronpa characters, there's limited information unless they're a protagonist. Considering DR, depending on the timeline of Sonia's class, takes place in various settings, realities, and states of mind, it can be a challenge to keep everything consistent. While I don't do a lot of threads that take place strictly in the SDR2-verse, where I do try to keep events canon to how they unfold in the game and as precisely as Sonia is presented as I can, other verses tend to be a bit more canon-divergent in order to fill in character building gaps that the game and anime don't really offer. The biggest change I tend to do is that unless I'm writing a thread of Sonia's arrival or first year at Hope's Peak or during the Neo World Program of SDR2, I don't tend to write many of her slang or word mix-ups. While Sonia reads and writes her 30+ languages better than she speaks them, I still believe she picks up on foreign languages easily and learns from her mistakes. She's a smart person, considering all of her talents mentioned in the SDR2 game alone. I also tend to disregard some of Hajime's free-time events with Sonia, particularly in terms of the hero legend and how she would allow the fabled hero to immediately marry and rule with her. My Sonia, for the most part, is a self-rescuing princess (and has a tendency to want to rescue everyone else too!).
SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals.
Is your muse looking for a friend and/or significant other who's just fascinated by everything they do and will support them no matter what? Someone who doesn't care about where you come from, your family, your looks, your socio-economic status but only who you are? Someone generous, kind, gentle, optimistic, smart, well-read, well-mannered, and will always be your muse's biggest cheerleader? Then your muse will definitely want to meet Sonia Nevermind, Hope's Peak Academy's Ultimate Princess and occult and serial killer-lover extraordinaire. She's poised to inherit a European country that thrives under absolute monarchy, a ridiculous amount of wealth and prestige, her own military, and more homes and assets than one person, and one family, really need. But get her talking about her favorite books/movies/TV shows, particularly horror and romantic dramas, and she'll be ecstatic. She loves exploring haunted locales, questioning the motives and methods of serial killers (real and fictional! I hope you've seen Friday the 13th, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. Is your muse Team Freddy or Team Jason?), and experiencing a 'normal' lifestyle unbefitting of a royal. Novoselic has no amusement parks, so your muse can really wow Sonia by introducing her to her first roller coaster! While she can't actually participate in Freemasonry or murdering people (Despair and Talentswap verses aside!) due to her title, she's still quite intrigued by it all. And like any proper Novosonian, she adores her chocolate and her wine. She's got a massive sweet tooth, perfect for her usual sweet and kind demeanor.
Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?)
She's not terribly edgy or sarcastic in most of her verses. It's very easy for Sonia to get duped by someone, as she's quick to consider people friends unless otherwise shown differently. She's very poised and polite due to her upbringing and doesn't often act on every impulse she has or speak her mind, especially if her opinion is divisive or negative, unless she trusts your muse. It's easy for her to accept friends into her life and far more difficult to accept romantic love, as she's frequently facing people who love her for her looks, title, and apparent purity, which frustrates her. She doesn't want to be put on a pedestal, she simply wants to be treated normally. She also doesn't get into too many fights, especially if she's been slighted. This is not a muse who's going to throw a punch, but she's excellent with firearms of all sorts. Pistols? Check. Rifles? Mastered them. Rocket launcher? Her favorite! And of course, she learned how to drive a tank before she could drive a car. If you're looking for a meek and shy muse to write with, Sonia's not that type. She's reserved in some things, but if your muse is really out of line? She'll call them out on it. She also has a tendency to want to lead in everything (it's a struggle for her to give up control, she can't help it!) and is a workaholic unless your muse distracts her.
Sonia has a fair amount of Rich People Problems. If that doesn't interest you or your muse, you may not enjoy interacting with her. But she remains as humble as she can about it all. She's terrible at putting herself first and admitting feelings for anyone, automatically assuming the person she cares for wouldn't want to be close to her, platonically or romantically, because of how complicated her life is as a future monarch. There's a lot of press, official appearances, and times she has to be a Princess before a person. She never wants to feel like a burden to your muse, which can sometimes come off as passive. But in life or death situations? Her bravery comes through.
And let's not go into how her Despair verse could be potentially triggering to some muses and/or muns. Sonia's absolutely disgusting when in Despair: lots of gore, lots of torture, lots of death, lots of blood, and a fair amount of sex with bad intentions. She's a gross human being (and has to deal with all of that in a post-Neo World Program verse!).
What inspired you to rp your muse?
I've been roleplaying for a pretty long time (not necessarily all on tumblr, but for awhile. I'm old!), and I've played action/fighting muses, know-it-all/brainy/witty muses, and muses who border on the mean girl trope with a heart of gold. But I've never really played a sincerely kind and good person. I tend to prefer writing female characters (I'm just more comfortable writing women than men most of the time!) and I've always had an interest in royalty and European history since I was a child. I played and watched Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc originally and while I found it fun, it didn't really hold my attention for long. It took 5-6 years or so for me to try out SDR2, and upon getting introduced to Sonia it was just a perfect fit. I love how kind and open-minded she is, how much she believes in the best of everyone, and how her interests in the occult, serial killers, anime, and dramas are a stark contrast to her royal upbringing. So many royal characters are complete snobs with no interest in commoners, which was never the sort of muse I wanted to write. But I loved the idea of Sonia's fish out of water situation of being the only foreigner in her class (and likely most of the school), who's just so happy to be there even though she gets various customs wrong and is just plain weird due to her personal interests. Additionally, I have a strong interest in horror, the occult, and serial killers myself, so it's been fun incorporating my thoughts on what Sonia would like outside of what the game and anime offered.
What keeps your inspiration going?
This might be corny, but it's Sonia's innate curiosity about the world and everyone in it. Admittedly, I'm not terribly up to date on current and popular anime (and I've only played DRV3 once, so I don't know those muses as well, and I never completed that game's Talent Development Plan), so it's hard when I don't always know the franchise of the other muse Sonia's interacting with, but she's still so fascinated about others and is inclined to ask questions and take on new experiences. But when I'm feeling stuck on inspiration, I'm returning to books, movies, and TV shows. For Sonia specifically, I watch and read a lot of historical and royal-focused dramas, as well as horror and classic literature. I also follow blogs featuring royal history and modern royal coverage (though when it turns too gossipy, I tend to cringe!) for plot ideas.
Still, it's the hardest for me to interact with other muses whose muns automatically assume I'm familiar with their fandom, especially when it's popular. I tend to do a fair amount of apologizing in that case, as most of my favorite anime are considered old or classic at this point.
Some more personal questions for the mun.
Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.
Do you think you give your character justice? YES / NO.
Do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO.
Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO.
Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO.
Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO.
Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO / Most of the time!
Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO.
Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?
Not terribly. In general, if someone doesn't like my portrayal, I question why they're following me (especially if we aren't writing together). I'm much more the type to respect someone's space if they decide to unfollow and/or softblock than want criticism of my portrayal. Of course, it's different if I'm writing with someone for awhile and we have multiple threads and character development, I'm a little more open to criticism but likely won't change my portrayal based on it.
Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?
I do! In general though, I tend to prioritize threads and IC asks over OOC, starting with what I've got muse to write with first. I have anon turned off and so I don't really get a lot of random questions about my muse anymore unless I've posted a meme asking for muse headcanons, but when I do get them, I try to answer them to the best of my ability.
If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?
Not really. It's okay to disagree with my headcanon, that's totally valid! But if it gets to the point where I'm being told how to write my muse, I get annoyed. When I write with a mun, I accept their headcanons in our threads, no questions asked. I prefer the same courtesy with my muse and their headcanons too.
If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?
Doesn't really matter to me. My general assumption is, is if someone disagrees with my portrayal, they likely won't write with me, follow me, or accept ask meme submissions from me.
If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?
We probably aren't roleplaying together. They likely either don't want to write with a Sonia or my version of her, and that's ok! What isn't ok is gossip and anon hate. I've turned off anon for this reason and won't turn it back on unless I need to (for example, a mutual I trust wants to send something on anon IC). It's a significant weight off my shoulders, not dealing with OOC anon rudeness.
Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?
Sure! No one's perfect. The only one that bothers me is different spelling for US English and UK/AUS/CAN English. I'm from the US and it's just easier to write in that, so I don't get anything wrong.
Do you think you are easy going as a mun?
I like to think so! I'm pretty easygoing and understanding of things like hiatuses, no writing inspo, etc, as long as I'm told that's what it is. Of course, I have my preferences for writing style (I don't do much one-liners or crack RP, just not my thing. I write a lot and try to avoid purple prose as much as I can!), but otherwise I like to plot, to wing it, coming up with new AUs and ships, etc. I also like chatting fandoms and such OOC as well! Admittedly I'm not great when it comes to mental health struggles, as I go through them myself and while I'm pretty high-functioning, RP and tumblr is my escape from my career and horrible stuff IRL, keeping me grounded and such. I like roleplaying, chatting fandoms and fun things, and just having a good time over here and on discord.
That’s about it, congrats for filling out!
