Its cool that they dig up the fossils of these dinosaurs to kill each other over and over again
I swear V (not verdict day) is drawing some heavy ass inspiration from Equilibrium (2002) as well
#i wish the game was more like the trailer#the trailer is so good#i had been disappointed it didnt match up to that... but going through V's story was a real pleasant surprise#it was much better overall than i had immediately marked it for but did take the whole game to get there#needed more story climax tho#but getting to the underground subways where the underclass tries to survive...#it was a city under there!#actually surprised me#took 9/10 of the story missions to get to#armored core#ac v#i love ac v#its my fav... how long were those mechs rotting under there?#200? 300 years? 2000-3000?#theres an armored core 4.5 that would tell you but the fun is to never know

#fave spotting#patrick troughton#dial 999#doctor who#classic doctor who#two#abc#key witness#1959#as with other Dial 999 posts‚ the episode number and year of transmission are more in the way of educated guesses#tho two separate sources identify this as ep 26 so that's good enough for me#yes it's been a while‚ i got very distracted and wandered away from Dial 999 but I'm mopping it up now#this was a very pleasant surprise‚ not least because Pat had already made two appearances in the series: a minor role as a heavy in 1.5 and#an uncredited appearance as a tramp in 1.16 (both can be found if you follow the fave spotting tag) so i wasn't really expecting him to#turn up again. but he does! and he finally gets a real meaty part! he's the villain of the week‚ a criminal of vague occupation (he has#something to do with gambling? race tracks maybe? idk it kind of gets glossed over) but when his kid brother kills a rival and is easily#apprehended‚ Pat decides it's time to silence the witness... cue a tense cat and mouse as Pat and goon tail their mark as the police tail#them. genuinely one of the most enjoyable episodes of this funny little series i think‚ and a lot of that is down to Pat giving it his#all as a dangerous gangster. he lounges around in a dressing gown‚ he slaps his bro around‚ he jeers at the cops and he#threatens his lawyer with a watery sack grave. he's gone full villain! and it's delightful!

Holy shit! Maka & CRONA'S VAs??!!!
#my ramblings#I mean I know it's kinda expected that Maka & Soul's VAs return to voice a promo for this 20th anniversary exhibition thing-#-but I never really expected Crona's VA to come back and take part on this promo thing. it's such a treat! I was maybe expecting Kid's VA-#-cuz afaik Mamoru(Kid's VA) is still active in the voice acting career plus Kid is part of the main cast#don't get me wrong. I TOTALLY LOVE hearing Crona's voice again and it was such a pleasant surprise. it's just... idk well unexpected for a-#-minor character (later 'villain') to be the 1st one to make a come back voice alongside with the protagonist instead of one of the main-#-party Maka teamed up with like Kid or Black Star#what does this mean#well.. maybeee?? Kid along with the Thompson sisters and Black Star along with Tsubaki will have their own part in promoting this later on#assuming their VAs would also make a come back#so lack for a better reason they partnered up Maka & Crona for this promo taking account of what happened in the manga and how meaningful-#-their bond is to the story. sooo... safe to assume CROMAKA CANON!!!#lmao my brain is so fried im sorry#this doesn't makes sense.
