Is it true that Yuzu will be making a new ice show or just joining one? Lots of tumblrs around have been posting pics of yuzu with a new ice show or something. They say its called Ice Story - Gift.

What I mean is, is it Yuzu creating an ice show or just participating in it?

Yesterday there was indeed a new show for Yuzu announced, this is why you see many accounts posting about it. It was very surprising, no one knew what was coming.

Both 😅 Yuzu is creating the ice show and participating in it. The show will be called GIFT and is a one time only event on 26th February 2023. Yuzu said when asked about the new show, that he was asked to perform at Tokyo Dome, the venue for the show.

It's announced as a Yuzu solo show. So there is no doubt about who the sole performer is. If I understood it correctly he will create a new show a bit similar to Prologue, but developed further and it will also be longer than Prologue. Further details will be clear later. The ticket sale already started today. (Again like in Prologue you need a Japanese credit card and phone number, so unfortunately no oversea fans can attend)

the videos of the skates/performances don't even capture the breadth and depth and VISION of the whole show which was at the fucking tokyo dome to 35,000 fucking people just in the dome--another 30k in movie theaters across a few countries, and we have no idea how many of us were watching on disney+ jpn or the international streaming (like me!)

it's. so incredible moving. it's literally an ice story. he narrates the whole show with this beautiful...poem? story? script? something.

and it's just emotionally devastating. even not knowing anything about him or his life or his story, you'd be moved.

utterly beyond my imagination.

it's such an incredible show.

and nothing will make you appreciate and understand figure skating more than seeing just how much he loves it. how much he's been through with the sport/art. seeing how many incredible people participated in this.

he got elevenplay and the fucking tokyo philharmonic orchestra. a preeminent composer and pianist COMPOSED AN ENTIRELY NEW PIECE IN HONOR OF THIS SHOW, JUST FOR HIM, WITHOUT EVEN TELLING HIM.

like you cannot comprehend how incredible yuzu is, how much LOVE there is for him. from everyone.

he is so, so special--even if he says in his show that he's not. that none of us are.

but we are to each other. and he is. to so many of us.
