hihihi im going anon for this because some of this fanbase (like you mentioned) are genuinely cruel, but I wanted to start off with I’m really glad to hear from your account. to comment on your slushy noobz rant, I think you are so right and it’s such an unfortunate thing that SO many fans will never accept that truth. it is so insanely icky to platform idubbbz IN THE BIG 2025? and with chase and claire, like c’mon… why do we keep giving these white creators who show no remorse for their blatant mockery of the black community so much grace?? what did they do to earn that ‘pass’ other than the fact that they’re white and made you laugh a couple times? its not like they’ve had sincere apologies (that I’ve seen atleast, please correct me if I’m wrong)

I don't really mind that Idubbbz wants to be more PC / less gross / more accommodating now, and I definitely don't give a fuck that his wife is a pornstar, lol. He's like 30 something. He's smarter, he's tired. I personally am not someone who's easily offended and I also get a kick out of shock humor, I didn't agree with his flippant use of slurs and misogyny and the like but I did find it entertaining cus (shocked 3rd grader voice) You're Not Supposed To Say That!!! But I'm also not the same guy I was when I was 15, I doubt Ian is the same guy he was when he was 25, either.

I guess what really bothers me about him now is how low quality and low effort his videos are now, along with how wilted he seems as a personality? He's not vibrant and hands on and loud anymore, he doesn't do skits, Bad Unboxing is dead, you hardly see him dicking around with his bros, he doesn't wear costumes or weird 8 dollar Party City accessories, he condemns internet edge lords like he wasn't one himself and like he didn't build a community off of that iconography for years and years. I didn't subscribe to the guy to see him make vlogs of him hiking with squirrels or making fucking Ants On A Log Kindergarten snacks, I followed him cus of his audacity, honesty, snark, and self awareness.

Even modern day Eminem has the bit of Watch Me Rap Really Fast, Idubbbz kinda just doesn't have shit. He reacts to milquetoast shit and basically has one friend (his wife). And it's sad cus I legitimately don't think he has to do edgy / grossout humor to be funny, even if I wasn't bothered by those things and find gross out humor rather funny. The Leafy video, for example, stands perfectly fine on its own. Just take out him calling Leafy a faggot and it's still a funny, sharp, and effective criticism of a guy who's a fucking waste of space from head to toe, by a guy who knows exactly what he's doing. Same with the fact that he called Ricegum out for his treatment of women then collabed with boyinaband at the end of the same video. As a fan I really don't think his random use of slurs and the like were all there was to him, nor does it really bother me when a person's content ages poorly (there are many'a Rappers I love whose and views have aged poorly, and it's never much stopped me from liking them) but it seems that's how he felt.

Idk man just sad to watch the mighty fall. He went from that weird but funny older cousin you coincidentally went to high school with and hung with at every family function to the lame out of touch uncle you see once every blue moon who buys you merch for an anime you haven't cared about since you were 15. Just sad.

Was watchin a video about how Idubbbz failed in ways FilthyFrank didn't earlier that ended with the user comparing Idubbbz to Eminem in that they both had that self aware edge and irreverent sense of humor that spoke just enough truth that made you self reflect / analyze the world in a different way and how neither of them really have that anymore and just take themselves way too seriously now. And yeah. That was a damn good observation.

idubbbz may be the founder of Creator Clash. But the Game Grumps are the ones who run everything. From the promotional stuff to ticket sales it's all done by them. Now while Creator Clash did raise 1.3 Million dollars for Charity.

It's worth noting that they made more then 3.4 Million dollars from Merch/PPV Tickets/Venue sales ect. Even if you claim that they spent 1.3 million on Advertising, Venue, Staff ect. That still leaves over half a million in profit.

ofcourse they wouldn't do it if it wasn't atleast a little bit profiting them. No youtuber ever would think about doing something for charity just because it means doing something good. No. Egos always need to be inflated for some ass reason.

Tana, the “racism” has literally made countless snapchats, live streams and an entire video explaining that she was an ignorant piece of shit when she was younger and has since then taken upon herself to educate herself on racism and said publically many times that she is not excusing that behaviour and wholeheartedly agrees it was fucked up and is today a huge advocate against inequality and racism and uses her platform to do so. What else do you expect her to do? 

Isn’t that our job as young people to self reflect and acknowledge our mistakes, learn from them and use that experience to educate other?

k so i rlly stan Tana Mongeau on youtube. say what u want but i love her to death. apparently because she tweeted about him months ago saying how she hates him because of how he is white and says the n word openly on his videos,

 this weekend he showed up at her meet n greet, dressed in her merch, had to have paid $200 to get in in the first place and stopped the meet and greet to grab her in a choke hold, pull her in front of his camera, smile real big and yell at the camera “say *blank*” blank being the n word. and like. not that a white person should say the n word in general, but he says it like hard r. no flinching. smile on his face.
