"Why the immortals didn't dream about Uma's character?"

So hear me out on this: What if the immortal connections work like the clusters on Sense8? Where every immortal is attached to a specific group of people but aren't aware of other immortals surrounding them. Per the trailer, it is obvious that Tuah (Henry Golding) knows about immortality and about Uma's character. What if he is an immortal that belongs to her group instead of Andy's? But he went on his own way when he realized that Uma wanted destruction instead of salvation.

I don't know, I feel that the trailer is tricky, and the story can go in a lot of different directions, but this direction could be awesome.
