Stock Markets Today, Top Rising Stocks Today
Indian benchmark indices opened flat to positive note on Monday. Corporate earnings and the ongoing Lok Sabha elections are expected to affect the market sentiment going ahead.
During mid-morning session at 11.30am, the Sensex was up 69 points at 37,532.40, and the NSE’s Nifty50 was trading 5 points higher at 11,284.
Bharti Infratel, TechMahidnra, Titan Co, ITC and SBI were among the major gainers on Nifty-stocks whereas Eicher Motors, Yes Bank, Indiabulls Housing, Sun Pharma and L&T led the losses.
All sectors, except Nifty IT, FMCG and Nifty Financial service, traded in the red. Nifty PSU bank, Nifty Pharma and media indices lost the most at this time, with greater loss in PSU bank index, which down by 2.76 percent.
Among Stocks, Eicher Motors also declined 5.60 percent at Rs.19213.45 after the Royal Enfield maker registered a significant volume decline of 14% on a year-on-year.
Major companies that report results during the day include HDFC, Vodafone Idea, ITC, Godrej Industries, IDBI Bank, Just Dial, Muthoot Finance, Oriental Bank.

Weekly Analysis on Stocks for the week ended Friday, 3-May
The
BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty ended 0.3% and 0.4% lower respectively
for the week, while the Nifty Midcap underperformed indices,
declining 1.5% for the week.
Pharma
sector declined the most, down 2.6%, Nifty IT index down 2.5% Nifty
FMCG down 2.3% and nifty Auto fell 2.3% for the week. On the other
hand, Nifty Metal performed well higher by over 1 percent and Nifty
Energy gained 0.8%
Banking
and financial stocks outperformed on the Nifty50 index for the week.
HDFC Bank gained 3.7%, Kotak Mahidnra Bank gained 2.8 percent each
and HDFC rose 1.3%. Oil Marketing Companies such as Bharat Petroleum
and Indian Oil Corporation also rose over 2% each for the week as
crude oil prices dropped to a 30-days low after the recent surge
above USD 75 per barrel.
Yes
Bank shares underperformed for the week, down 26% after the Bank
reported a net loss of Rs.1507-Crore for the period ended March 31.
IndusInd Bank slipped 8.5% for the week
Britannia
Industries fell 9% after the earnings were below analysts’
estimates for Q4. The company reported an 11.82% increase in
consolidated net profit at Rs.294.27-crore for the fourth quarter
Indiabulls Housing fell 4.4% after the reported a 7% year-on-year de-growth in consolidated profit but net interest income advanced 5.8 percent. Hindustan Unilever slipped 3% and also TCS fell 4.5% after IT stocks were under pressure on strong rupee.

Sensex, Nifty Flat; Major Stock Movements Today
Share
market benchmarks started positive note on Thursday, but subsequently
turned flat through mid-morning deals. Accordingly Sensex slipped 92
points lower at 39,183 levels and the Nifty fell 34 points at 11,752
levels.
Among
stocks, Reliance, Tata Motors, Wipro were the top
gainers on the NSE. Conversely, IndiaBulls Housing, Yes bank and
Bharti Airtel are losing.
Major
stock movements today: Jet Airways share price falls over 26-percnet
after the Air-carrier suspends all flights after banks refused to
release funds.
Shares
of Reliance Industries (RIL) trade 2 percent higher at 1,371.05per
share after Reliance Retail in discussions to buy toymaker
Hamleys.
Mindtree trade
higher at 975.35 per share, up Rs.2.90 up, after the company
announced special dividend ahead of L&T takeover.
Shares
of Wipro trade higher at 284.75per share, up 1.37% after the company
announced s Rs10500cr share buyback.
HT
Media Limited share falls 1.23% after the company hiked its stake to
51% in Next Media Works
Hindalco traded lower at Rs.209.60 down 2.49% after Toyota selected Hindalco’s subsidiary Novelis as the aluminum supplier.

Stock Market Today, Sensex, Nifty open flat
Key
benchmarks started with a gap down opening with international
negative signals on Wednesday, taking signals from Asian
counterparts.
Crude
Oil prices edged back towards 5-month peak on Wednesday, helped by
continuing supply cuts by OPEC. The rupee opened flat at 69.28 per
USD against previous close 69.29.
At
10.00am, the BSE Sensex slipped 22 points to trade 38,916-levels with
TCS, HeeroMotoCorp, HCL Tech, and HDFC Bank among the top opening
losers. The broader Nifty50 also opened 6 points, down at 11,665.65,
with Cipla, Indiabulls Housing, ONGC and Coal India as top gainers.
Among
sectoral spaces, the Nifty Realty rose 2.16% as the top gainer with
leading components Indiabulls Real Estate, Oberoi Realty and Godrej
Properties.
Nifty
Bank and financials stocks were trading lower, while metal, media,
FMCG also up.

Market Update: Equity, commodity, Currency
Sensex,
Nifty opened higher on Wednesday led by sustained gains banking
sectors.
The
Indian Rupee is trading lower by 9ps at 68.95per US dollar
today against yesterday’s closing of 68.86.
Crude
Oil gains to trade near a 4-month high after Russia re-confirmed its
promise to the OPEC plus production cut.
The
Nifty Bank having record high with index trading at 29,989-mark led
by gains in IndusInd Bank, RBL, Yes bank and PNB at 9.45 am. At this
point, the Sensex jumped 111 points to 38,350-level the NSE Nifty50
rose 25 points to 11,508-level.
All
the sectoral stocks have opened the day in positive zone except Nifty
media, PSU Bank stocks leading the pack of gainers.
IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, IndiaBulls Housing, Bharti Airtel and L&T are among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers are HPCL, BPCL, NTPC, ONG and Reliance.

Market Update: Index Trade With Moderate Gains
Stock
markets opened on a flat note and gradually moved on higher note on
Thursday. However, markets failed to keep gains after selling
pressure seen in most sectors. The Indian rupee strengthened to 69.98
per dollar agasint Wednesday's close of 70.27 per dollar.
At
10.15 am, The Sensex was up 75 points to 36,711-levels, while
the NSE Nifty was slightly up 8 points to 11,061 levels.
The
Nifty Metal index was trading near 1% lower with SAIL, Vedanta, and
Coal India leading the losers.
HPCL, L&T, Bharti infratel, and Reliance were trading higher, while Vedanta, IOC, Wipro, and IndiabullsHF were trading lower on the NSE.
Shares
of Biocon slipped 1.09% on the NSE in the morning trade. The
company said that the USFDA has issued six observations in Form 483
after pre-approval inspection of its insulin drug substance
manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.
Shares
in Suzlon Energy Ltd stock fall 10.76 2% after 0.26 crore shares
changing hands on the NSE on Thursday.
The
most active stocks were Reliance Industries, Indiabulls
HF, and Tata Elxsi on the NSE.

Sensex Nifty Trade Higher, Major Stocks in Action
Stock
market’s benchmark indices opened on a strong note after the
previous three-day fall. The Indian rupee opened lower at 70.74
against the dollar, against the last close of 70.72 per dollar.
Asian
shares went up marginally higher as concerns about China’s economy
and global trade weighed on sentiment while US GDP data pushed
the US dollar up
Besides,
new outlook in India-Pak tensions will be watched. On Thursday,
Pakistan Prime Minister announced that Pakistan will release detained
IAF pilot as peace gesture.
Back
home, the BSE Sensex rallied 223 points to 36,090 and the
Nifty50 rose 88points to 10,861, at 10.00 am, on first day of
March series.
Vedanta,
Indiabulls-HF, Yes Bank, HeroMoto Corp and Coal India were among
major gainers while Bharti Airtel, Cipla, DrReddys and Wipro were
losers.
Shares
of Bharti Airtel declined 3.73-percent after the company approved
fund raising upto Rs32,000-crore through rights issue and perpetual
bond.
Shares
in SBI Life Insurance rose 5.63percent to Rs611 per share after block
deals.

Market Morning Update: Positive start on stocks
Sensex, Nifty opened higher in morning session led by positive Asian signals. Oil prices rose near 1 percent today with WTI crude oil futures were at USD 53.64 per barrel from their last close. The Indian rupee rose by 22 paise at 70.48 per dollar against its previous close 70.70.
The Sensex is up 193 points at 36346, while Nifty is up 49 points at 10880-mark. Sun Pharma, ITC, Indiabull Housing Finance, PowerGrid and Adani ports have started trading with gains while Bharti Infratel, HPCL, Bharti Airtel and Hero MotoCorp were early losers.

Sensex, Nifty Trade Marginally Higher On Tuesday
Stock
market benchmark indices opened flat to positive note on Tuesday,
taking signals from Asian shares.
The Indian
rupee opened 8ps higher at 69.59 v/s dollar on Tuesday amid
rising oil prices. The domestic unit tumbled 44ps to close at
69.67 on Monday, led by surging crude oil prices and higher
dollar demand from importers.
At
around 10.00am, the BSE Sensex up 118pts, to hover around 38,818
levels, with Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance and Tata
Steel dragging the index down. Nifty also was trading marginally up
19pts at 11,624-levels.
HCL
Tech, Wirpo, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra and Vedanta were top gainers
on Nifty50, whereas IndiabullsHousing, BhartiAirtel Asian Paints,
Adani Ports and UPL fell the most.

Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd on Monday said it has raised ₹1,030 crore by issuing bonds on a private placement basis.
The company on May 18 allotted 10,300 secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of face value ₹10 lakh each, aggregating to ₹1,030 crore, on a private placement basis, the company said in a regulatory filing.
