I've got this whole AU in my head called Feathers where they're just schoolboys at the Alpha Centauri University for Celestials and they are very much in love with one another~

Aziraphale's wings are full of suns and stars and little fireballs while Crowley's are full of stars, nebula and comets.

I imagine they met during the first week or so of school and have been inseparable since.

I’m a little slow in posting this, but my project over Thanksgiving break was to transform one (well, technically two if you count the stealing of the glasses) of the Target birds into Crowley, so the Aziraphale one could have his friend back.

They now have a proud spot in front of my WFH monitor 💜.

Well well well. I just realised this morning that this post will be my 100th.

I wanted to duly celebrate it, so I hope you'll like this new little sneak-peek.

As I am writing this, my “Good Omens Richard-II Kiss WIP” has reached 1216 notes. I WAS NOT expecting such a thing when I posted it almost absent-mindedly a few days before New Year Eve. This is so wild. Thank you SO MUCH.

And the pressure is so wild, too – yeah. Here I am. Searchingformytrustthatdoesntexist, me.

I am taking all the time I can before completing it. My Daily Challenge is quite effective, as I am doing twice as much more dumb mistakes and technical errors, I think I am doing twice as many more progresses too.

I really, really want to learn how to keep in the final version of my drawings the movement and the emotion presents in most of my sketches - and so emblematic of my "Richard II Kiss WIP". These sparks are often lost when I start colouring / shading and I WANT to resolve that.

Thank you so much for your support, your enthusiasm and your kindness. Your comments and tags made my day every day since this WIP mysteriously started to be uncontrollably spread out  on Tumblr last week.

What’s The Point (Of Feathers) ? (Rated E)

Losely interconnected scenes about wing instincts from Crowley's perspective with a few headcanons: They tend to involuntarily materialize and flap in a certain pattern when aroused. When a demon is ready to have a partner, the "point feathers" fall out and leave a trail. They are smaller than the display feathers and have a slight iridescent glow when the desired partner is near. And the "helpful" quirk to hover a bit to point in the direction of their owner in a neat row. Crowley is convinced that it is a "Demon Thing" as an embarrassing or punishing side effect of the Fall. Luckily Aziraphale doesn't know. Or does he?

And again, they meet. Long fingers brushing through golden locks, a ruffle of white feathers. They smile at one another, Aziraphale leaning into Crowley's gentle touch. Yet alas, the moment is fleeting as Aziraphale is late for his Principality studies. And so, he backs away though not before leaning forward some, just enough to brush his lips against Crowley's.

"Come find me later..." He whispered quietly, his words for Crowley's ears alone, his eyes meeting an amber gaze.

Crowley looked down at the golden angel and gave a half cocked smile, watching as Aziraphale walked away backwards for a step or two, before he turned to rush off to class.

He could feel his own heart beating quickly in his chest, his own cheeks pink, fingers brushing his lips in remembrance of Aziraphale's soft mouth. Link to this lovely print here!
