Waiting for You
Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18 Morning dawned, and her alarm sounded. Waking, the girl opened her eyes. She stumbled out of bed, beginning her day. Jesus was sitting on a chair by her bed. Waiting. Returning to her room, she thought of…

Isaiah 30: Commitment of Faith
In order to understand what faith is, you and I have to actually use it. A person does not really have faith until that person lives it out, boots on the ground, real life, real dilemmas, real crises. #Sennacherib #Isaiah30 #Hezekiah
Isaiah had completed a full circle in his oracle by naming the people’s transgression against God (their hearts were far from the Lord), warning them of what the future would now hold, and reassuring them of a day when their faith would be once again be rich and vibrant. Now Isaiah wheeled back once again, this time to the people’s false confidence in foreign…

The Light of the Gospel
1 Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. — 2 Corinthians 4 | New International Version (NIV) Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide. Time Doesn’t Matter
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=========================
+ Isaiah 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.
=========================
VERSE OF THE DAY
========================
+ Luke 6:12 In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God
=========================
SUBJECT: Time Doesn’t Matter
=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM PRAYING
I AM WAITING
I AM SEARCHING
I AM PATIENT
********************************
THOUGHTS:
=======================
   Waiting on our prayers to be answered is another side of praying some of us don’t like; we don’t want to wait for him to answer, and we get so aggravated when we have to wait because we feel if I check all the boxes off, why won't He hear me and do as I like because God isn’t a genie, God isn’t going to always to do what we like and sometimes in our waiting he's watching us as we do this.
    Sometimes, we can say oh, I'm doing everything right. Still, sometimes we aren’t because we don’t see the things we do as a sin; we don’t see what we say or what we submerge ourselves into as something that could be grieving God; that’s why prayer is essential, not just to ask and ask for things but to hear God when he speaks to us to be guided or to simple rest in his presence we must learn to rest in his presence not just ask and if we ask for everything, & if He gave us everything. We won't have any reason to come to him prayer, and we won't have any reason to listen to him.
  Isaiah 30:18 Therefore, the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore, he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
 The Lord wants to be gracious to us, show us mercy, and bless us, but we must wait for him, and many of us don’t want to do that. I, for one, have noticed in my life he makes me wait because he wants to show me what is happening; sometimes, he wants me to wait because he wants me to keep coming to Him and be persistent, and some of us give up on the first sign of no answer. Maybe we don’t get answers because we ignore his unctions like he would say you don’t need this, or Lui, You don’t need that, and sometimes we are desperate to want it that we don’t hear or see he has said no, and he's trying to lead us to better things.
  Daniel 10:2 At that time, I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. 3 I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips, and I used no lotions until the three weeks were over.
  Look at what David did. He kept asking God for 21 days. He waited that long with no food, no meat, no wine, and nothing touching his lips because he was dedicated to hearing the voice of God. Some of us won't fast, some of us want to pray no longer than 10 minutes, and we must learn that God sees our hearts.
   We can try to hide our true intentions from everyone else, but we won't be able to do this with God because he knows us best, and he knew the heart of Daniel; what is your heart saying about you while you wait on God are you telling him one thing and meaning something else
   Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
  It says to wait for the lord and be strong; we must understand that whenever God does answer us, we must know it will. At this time, I can remember needing an answer immediately, and I waited and waited a week. It was past the time that I needed the answer, and I had to halt everything. I could’ve just gone ahead and done it my way; I could’ve gone ahead and done what others were telling me, but I didn't. I waited on him, and when I did, everything worked out over and beyond what I was expecting; whatever you are expecting, wait on him to show you; wait on him to give you a clearer understanding because sometimes we run off with the first notion we think is him saying to do this or that and it isn’t we must continue to seek him even when it's tough.
  God is a God with no watch; his time is our time, and when he speaks and tells us what we must do, we must do it; yelling and screaming isn’t going to make him move, even crying isn’t, but when we say okay God I’m okay with what time you say. We wait patiently. I have been told that we shouldn’t pray for patience, but my friend’s, having patience not only does it help with answered prayers, it helps us in other areas of our lives, too; we all have had moments where we didn’t want to wait, so we found an easier way. Still, the way the lord wants you to wait is the longest and best way. It might not feel like the best way or look the best way, but that’s why we must walk by faith and not by sight. Sometimes what he’s going to have you to do will be tough. Still, when he gets through with you, you'll see why he said no son, no daughter do it this way.
   ***Today, we talked about unanswered prayers and how sometimes it’s hard to wait on God when we see a way we think is better. Sometimes, we see what he wants us to do as too much hustle, but God wants you to understand that his way is the best.
  Just like when we have children, we must teach them to wait and teach them how to be content; we are his children, and he must do the same. What happened is that many times parents don’t teach their kids about patience, so they start having tantrums because they can’t have their way, and we are the same way; that’s why God must show us how to wait and how to dwell and how to listen, this might be hard at first but in all things, we must wait for him. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee
========================
PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, we thank you for everything; we ask you to help us to wait patiently for you. Help us to seek you with our whole heart. Lord, I ask you to give us more of you and help us listen to you when you speak. Teach us to be patient when we are waiting on you! Lord, give us strength to be kind and to love all people even their flaws even if it’s hard to do; help us still to be the best person we can be and do things that are acceptable to you; in Jesus' Name, Amen

The Gospel
What It Means to Be a Christian
Being a Christian is more than identifying yourself with a particular religion or affirming a certain value system. Being a Christian means you have embraced what the Bible says about God, mankind, and salvation. Consider the following truths found in the Bible.
God Is Sovereign Creator Contemporary thinking says man is the product of evolution. But the Bible says we were created by a personal God to love, serve, and enjoy endless fellowship with Him. The New Testament reveals it was Jesus Himself who created everything (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16). Therefore, He also owns and rules everything (Psalm 103:19). That means He has authority over our lives and we owe Him absolute allegiance, obedience, and worship.
God Is Holy God is absolutely and perfectly holy (Isaiah 6:3); therefore He cannot commit or approve of evil (James 1:13). God requires holiness of us as well. First Peter 1:16 says, You shall be holy, for I am holy.
Mankind Is Sinful According to Scripture, everyone is guilty of sin: There is no man who does not sin (1 Kings 8:46). That doesn't mean we're incapable of performing acts of human kindness. But we're utterly incapable of understanding, loving, or pleasing God on our own (Romans 3:10-12).
Sin Demands a Penalty God's holiness and justice demand that all sin be punished by eternal death (Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 6:23). That's why simply changing our patterns of behavior can't solve our sin problem or eliminate its consequences.
Jesus Is Lord and Savior Romans 10:9 says, If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Even though God's justice demands death for sin, His love has provided a Savior who paid the penalty and died for sinners (1 Peter 3:18). Christ's death satisfied the demands of God's justice, and Christ's perfect life satisfied the demands of God's holiness (2 Corinthians 5:21), thereby enabling Him to forgive and save those who place their faith in Him (Romans 3:26).
The Character of Saving Faith True faith is always accompanied by repentance from sin. Repentance is agreeing with God that you are sinful, confessing your sins to Him, and making a conscious choice to turn from sin (Luke 13:3, 5; 1 Thessalonians 1:9), pursue Christ (Matthew 11: 28-30; John 17:3), and obey Him (1 John 2:3). It isn't enough to believe certain facts about Christ. Even Satan and his demons believe in the true God (James 2:19), but they don't love and obey Him. True saving faith always responds in obedience (Ephesians 2:10).
