girls on campus would often flock around felix catton. i mean, did you understand why? of course, but it was unnecessary. especially at random hours of the day. they all just wanted to get in his pants and you were sure he knew that too. felix is used to having people hang on his every move, whether at campus, social gatherings, or parties. at times, it can be annoying and disruptive, but typically, he's just glad that the girls are chasing after him. he’s not interested in dating or anything serious. however, he knows that he's attractive and charming, and will use that to his advantage by having fun and flirting with the girls he meets without any commitment.

you found the whole thing stupid, but who were you to judge on other’s crushes or someone’s popularity. felix thinks it’s hilarious that people would flock around him like that. he has no problem with being approached by girls, but he finds the entire scenario so ridiculous. he enjoys the attention, and he can’t help but make fun of the girls who are throwing themselves at him. he can’t be bothered to get to know any of these girls, and he finds the whole thing so pointless. instead, he likes to have a bit of fun with them, leading them on just to see how far they’ll go. he’s a bit of a player, and he's fully aware of it. those girls were getting mind-fucked by felix and didn’t even realize it.

felix’s friends, especially his cousin farleigh and his sister venetia, are often annoyed when he’s approached by girls, because it always seems like he’s not appreciating the situation. they always warn him that he should at least act interested, but he just laughs it off and continues to make fun of the girls who are approaching him. you didn’t even realize how long you were staring until felix’s piercing stare seems to pierce right through you as he studies you, looking you up and down slowly, making you feel like he’s undressing you with his eyes. his expression is calm, but there is something predatory about it, like he’s sizing you up, testing you, assessing your responses and reactions. you sense that he knows exactly what he’s doing, and it’s as if he’s playing a game with you, toying with you.

you quickly look away, going back to writing in your journal with a knee to your chest, and your other leg dangling off the bench you’re sitting on. you try to keep writing in your journal, but you can’t help but notice that his gaze hasn’t left you and that he’s still leaning against the tree. even though you’re not paying him any attention, he’s making you feel all sorts of things, the way he stares at you, the way he watches you moving and how the sunlight hits your skin. you have to admit he’s quite handsome, despite his arrogant attitude and predatory gaze.

you were getting ready to go back to your dorm room back at oxford anyways. as you put your books back in your bag, the stares from felix never leave your mind. felix’s piercing stare never left you, and it’s hard to ignore his gaze. you start to feel nervous and self-conscious, but something about the way he’s looking at you is also a bit exciting. you feel like there’s a magnetic pull. you don’t dare to leave yet, you want to see this through. you wonder if he’ll come and talk to you; if he decides to make a move. you decide that you should just leave, so that’s what you do. surprisingly, felix didn’t follow you. the way he was staring, you would’ve assumed he wanted something.

you make your way back to the dorms, thinking about the interaction with felix and feeling irritated that it was all for nothing. he had been staring at you for so long and you thought that there must be a purpose for it. he had been acting quite mysterious. but you reach the dorms and you realize that he hadn’t followed you, and although you expected that, you feel a bit disappointed when he didn’t even stop to talk to you, nor seem to care. whatever, you moved on with your life.

three weeks later, you’re walking back to the dorms from the library when you see felix crossing the road. he’s headed in your direction, but he doesn’t seem to have spotted you yet. you can see some girls trailing behind him, looking in his direction and giggling to each other. the scene is amusing, and you can’t help but laugh, thinking that the girls must all be infatuated with him again. just as you thought he hadn’t spotted you, felix suddenly stops and looks around. you try to turn your head away, hoping he’s not looking in your direction, when suddenly he walks straight towards you with a grin. the girls behind him seem surprised and caught off guard, but they continue to follow him. you’re shocked that he saw you and even more surprised that he’s walking toward you. what does he want?

felix approaches you with a devilish grin, his charming smile plastered across his face. he looks you up and down slowly, seemingly taking in every detail of your appearance. before you can say anything, he pats your shoulder “i’ve been looking for you.” there’s a sense of amusement in his voice, and you can’t help but feel nervous and a bit flustered by his boldness. you laugh through your nervousness. “really?” you ask.

“oh, absolutely,” felix grins, leaning in a little closer. “i saw you on campus a few weeks ago, and i’ve been wanting to talk to you ever since. i just couldn’t figure out how.” his tone is playful and confident, and you find yourself getting swept away by his charm. you smile at this. “do you mind if i walk with you?” felix continues, smiling at you, his eyes piercing and his tone playful. he seems to think he’s got you charmed because of his smile and that makes him even more confident. this game of cat and mouse is fun for him. “be my guest.” you giggle.

“perfect,” felix smiles, his grin growing wider. he walks beside you, his body mere inches away from yours, and he keeps a close eye on you the entire time. he’s enjoying the game, he even glances back at the girls behind him to make sure they see him with you. the feeling of him being so close is both exciting and slightly unsettling. “you don’t even know my name, do you?” you look up at him. felix is quiet for a moment, seeming stunned that you challenged him. he looks at you and smiles broadly, his eyes full of mischieviousness. "no, i honestly don't," he says, and then he chuckles, "but i'm very curious to find out."

“y/n.” you smile. felix raises his eyebrows in playful amusement, making a show of pretending to be awestruck. "a lovely name. what does it mean?" he asks. “no idea.” you chuckle as you look down at your feet. felix can’t help but notice the way you look down at your feet when you laugh, the way your hair falls over your face, the way your lips curl up into a genuine smile. you seem so innocent, so pure. his entire demeanor changes, and he suddenly leans in close, his tone flirtatious and gentle. "it doesn't matter; it suits you."

“thank you.” you can feel a blush creeping onto your face at his words. felix is amused by how easily flattered you are, but he likes it. he enjoys seeing you blush. "tell me," he continues, his voice still soft and flirtatious. "are you always this shy?" he asks. “that depends on who im around.” you answer. "am i making you nervous?" he teases. his tone is playful and teasing, but he keeps it gentle. he's enjoying this interaction; your shyness is quite endearing. you can't help but get the feeling that he's playing with you, seeing how far he can go with this. “hm. maybe a little.” you chuckle.

"a little, hmm? just a little bit?" he asks, his tone still gentle and light-hearted. he leans in even closer so his body is just inches away from you; his breath is warm on your neck. you get the feeling that this isn't just about making you shy and nervous, he actually seems interested in you too. your eyes locked with his. all he has to do is lean in a little bit further, and his lips would meet yours. you can feel his breath on your skin, and your face is beginning to heat up. it's as if he knows exactly how to make you blush.

as felix leans in closer, you can see what he’s trying to do, and although you might want the same thing, you put a hand on his chest, stopping him from making any more moves, just shaking your head with a small smile on your face. felix's eyes flicker with surprise when you gently push him away. he has a look of amusement on his face, like he's trying to keep the smile off his face. he's not used to having a girl refuse him. but rather than getting angry, he seems intrigued by your boldness. your confident rejection makes him want you even more. he chuckles as you shake your head, his gaze meeting yours with a mischievous grin.

you smile as you look up at him. “well i have to get to my classes now, but it was nice talking to you, felix.” you say. "you're just leaving like that?" he asks, acting surprised. his eyes are still locked on yours, he doesn't seem bothered by your rejection; he seems amused and intrigued instead. he's enjoying this game of cat and mouse. “yeah, classes start soon and i don’t wanna be late. im sure you don’t wanna miss yours either?” you ask. "you're always so proper about things, aren't you?" felix laughs, still keeping a playful tone even though it seems like he's trying to hide his frustration. "but you should know by now that i do whatever i want, rules have no meaning to me. i have plenty of time before class starts, and it's not like i care about attending anyway."

“well that’s amazing for you.” you say. “ill see you around, felix!” you smile at him. felix’s eyes flicker in a split second, almost as if they were considering pursuing you, but then his expression shifts into a playful shrug. “alright, see you around then, y/n.” he says with that same smooth british tone. “oh, by the way,” he adds with a grin. “if i do see you around - i wouldn’t mind grabbing a drink some time.” you smile at him and nod, giving him a small wave over the shoulder as you’re walking to your class.

felix smirks, taking in the way you walk away, your long, gorgeous legs flashing with each step. you weren't like the other girls, and he rather liked it that way. he makes a mental note to keep an eye out for you later in the day. the fact that he actually has to search for you now makes him excited. this is something new - and he's thrilled at the thought of pursuing you.

a few hours later you’re strolling along campus, on you’re way to the library to study. as you walk, you spot felix at a distance, leaning against a massive tree. there’s a small crowd surrounding him, laughing and having a great time as he’s in the middle of entertaining them with his wits and charm. he’s playing off the crowd easily, and you note how the girls are gazing up at him, some giggling and nudging each other, some blatantly flirting with him. you giggle at the sight, you knew felix was probably dying inside talking to all those bimbos, that’s what made it funny.

felix is good at entertaining the ladies, but he can’t keep a grin on his face for long. as soon as the girls leave him to go do their own things or to go to class, he sighs in relief - he’s not even the slightest bit interested in having casual conversations with these girls. he can’t help but wonder why these women can’t pick up on the fact that he’s not really interested in them at all.

you decide to go walk up to him. “you sure have a fan base if ive ever seen one.” you chuckle. felix glances your way as you approach, and his eyes flicker in surprise. after a moment’s pause, he shrugs, his smooth accent carrying over the air. “it gets tedious really quickly,” he chuckles, nodding towards the gaggle of girls who were making their way to class. “they have such terrible conversation skills, it’s impossible to have a decent talk with any of them.” you listen to his complaints. “oh yeah i bet.” you laugh. “where are you headed?” he asks you. “im just on the way to the library right now.”

“library? for work, or for pleasure?” he asks. his eyes flicker over you, and he raises an eyebrow. “personally, i can’t find myself enjoying a library visit, but it’s usually because i can’t find good reading material.” you chuckle hearing this. “you read?” you ask in a jokingly manner, but you were generally surprised. felix didn’t seem like the type to read.

“yes, i do read.” his tone is blunt, and as he says this he seems to consider whether you were actually joking or not. “i know how surprising it is, considering my social status, but i promise you i read.” his accent remains strong, giving a smooth edge to his words, though he sounds slightly amused and bemused. “what sort of books do you read?” you chuckle. “oh, i dont read at all. i try to avoid it because if i do end up reading a book, ill start to get interested.”

“you want to avoid getting interested in things?” he asks, his brow furling. he makes an effort not to let his surprise show - he’s not used to people avoiding reading. in his mind, it was an important part of life; if you didn’t read, you were missing something integral. “what’s so bad about getting interested in things?” he asks. “nothing, reading just isn’t my thing, i prefer visualization or audiobooks over reading.”

felix stares in mild bewilderment. this wasn’t what he expected. you seemed...complex, to say the least. he wasn’t used to people who were so unique like you. it was strangely attractive. his lips twitch into a smile. “audiobooks are quite good, i like the way they describe the characters' voices and the words the reader emphasizes. it really changes the experience.” you chuckle. “yeah. well i need to get these papers done so i can hand them in. you’re welcome to join me.” you look up and smile at him.

you have the power to make this arrogant man’s expression soften at your simple suggestion. his eyes narrow slightly as you tell him it’s an open invitation for him to join you in the library, as though he’s being offered something he shouldn’t refuse. “really?” he replies, his voice now soft and his tone a touch more playful. “yes, yes i don’t mind joining you,” he adds with a laugh, his gaze not breaking from your own - you feel like his sole purpose is to stare into your eyes.

“okay, awesome! what about your friends? wont they come looking for you?” you ask as you two start walking. “oh my friends will survive without me for a bit.” he nods once, and it’s clear he isn’t too fussed about abandoning them as long as he gets to spend time with you. “they’ll find something interesting to do without me, i’m sure.” he says this with complete dismissal for his friends, and the fact that he chooses you over them says a lot - though it’s hard to identify just what it is. his eyes scan you up and down as he says this, his grin widens. you nod.

a few minutes later of walking you guys make it to the library. you take a seat at an empty table as felix sits across from you. you both sit at the empty table, you in your seat and felix in his, neither of you making a move to initiate conversation. all that passes between you two are glances at each other, and the air becomes slightly warmer. you can feel felix watching you, his mind wandering as he considers what to say. he is a man used to making a move, yet for some reason he finds it difficult to open a dialogue with you. you’re different from other girls, and you baffle him in ways he didn’t know were possible.

“did you just come here to watch me or are you gonna work on something?” you say without looking up as you’re switching from paper to paper as you’re writing. your bluntness surprises him, but he shrugs it off and smiles to show he finds it charming. he looks at the stack of papers before you, but he finds that he can’t tear his eyes from you long enough to focus on his work. “i came here to work on something,” he says, his voice slightly husky now. “but i think there’s something much more interesting in front of me than my work.”

you look up from your papers just to look at him. “that was so corny.” you break out into laughter. felix breaks out into a grin at your laughter, and he laughs as well. he’s pleased that you find him charming enough to laugh at his corniness. he leans forward on the table slightly, his eyes locking onto yours. “i do my best, and that was my best,” he says, his voice becoming deeper and more husky. “now, how about you stop writing those papers for a second and talk to me?”

“about?” you say as you continue to write on your papers. “anything. anything at all. i’d rather just stare at you, but i know that might be quite odd.” he says this with a chuckle, and his eyes sparkle in a playful way. “how about we start off with what it was like growing up in your family, or what you plan on doing after university. maybe something like that.”

you chuckle. “oh i dont really keep contact with my family.”“really?” he says, surprise in his voice. this was not what he expected either. his eyes flicker for a moment, and he stares at you with a curious expression. “so you don’t talk to anyone from your immediate family?” he asks. “nope. i don’t talk to anyone.” he’s obviously still in shock by this. “nobody at all?” he raises an eyebrow. this girl keeps surprising him. “not even close friends?”

“you’re funny for thinking i have em.” you chuckle.“how can you live without anyone? do you not get lonely living completely alone?” he asks, and his voice is suddenly soft and concerned. he was so used to his own packed social schedule and surrounded by so many people, and the thought that you chose to live alone completely confuses him. “after being used to it for so long, it doesn’t really start to bother you, I just stopped caring.”

“you don’t care about meaning?” he raises his eyebrow. there seemed to be no end to your bluntness. a part of him was fascinated, but the logical part of him was baffled at the simplicity of your life. how could you be at peace with only having yourself? “i love being by myself.” you smile. “you are so weird.” he chuckles as he’s trying to wrap his head around the thought of your life. “okay so wait, what if a boy was into you?” he asks, his voice almost an amused whisper. “would you turn him down completely?” he adds. “hm, no.” you say bluntly.

this caught him by surprise. he had no doubt you’d turn boys down, yet here you were saying you’d be open to a relationship? “so you’d go out with a guy if he were interested in you?” he asked eagerly. you had a feeling that these questions weren’t hypothetical. “i mean why not? what else is there to do.” you answer. you intrigue him. you were so uncomplicated and seemingly free. you didn’t have any restraints and you simply lived without much care or consideration for others. there was something about you that was quite captivating. “what if he was very clingy? wanting you for himself and wanting to see you all the time - wouldn’t that annoy you?” he adds.

“that’s fine, cause who else would i put my time into besides myself?” you chuckle. this reply makes it obvious how unique you were. to everyone else, that was the most ridiculous answer imaginable. how could a clingy guy not be annoying? how could someone be content in their own company? yet here you are, with such a simple answer to a difficult question. “wouldn’t it ever get too much, having a guy obsessed with you?” he continued to question you. you really thought about it. “i don’t know, it seems kinda nice..” your reply makes his heart beat faster. in this moment, there was nothing he wanted to do more than lean over the desk and kiss you. he can’t help but feel jealous at the thought of someone else wanting your attention. he smiles, but he’s hesitant to admit your response made him blush. “you like the sound of someone possessive and obsessed with you?”

“see when you put it like that, it sounds weird. as if you’re romanticizing it. i just think a relationship, where its focused on the two of you more than anything, is better than a relationship where you both are focused on totally different things. is that wrong?” you state. an intrigued smile spreads across his face as you explain your reasoning for finding possessive and obsessed men desirable. he considers your thoughts carefully - it does make sense. he thinks back to his own relationship with past girlfriends. they would rarely spend time with him, they’d talk about their friends more, and their conversations didn’t tend to go deeper than gossip or drama. “that’s not wrong at all, you’re completely right. i think i might have a newfound appreciation of possessive guys… because i completely agree with what you’ve just said.” the grin spreads wider. “exactly, so it makes sense.”

his gaze travels over you, almost as if he's analysing you. the way in which you're responding to his questions, the way you carry yourself - he can’t find fault in a single thing about you. as he stares, your beauty, your intellect, and your independent nature hit him all at once, and he feels overwhelmed by the desire to be with you. “you’re unlike anyone i’ve ever met,” he murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper. “do you know how many times you’ve said that?” you chuckle. “once more can’t hurt, can it?” he grins, leaning forward slightly on the desk, his eyes still glued to your own. a part of him wants to keep conversing but another parts of him wants to kiss you immediately. it's confusing, like being torn in two different directions. he's trying to find the words that are right, that match up with this new spark between you both. "you do realise i can't stop thinking about you, right?"

“you are really something, felix, you know that?” you giggle. "something good or something bad?" he asks, with a teasing edge to his tone. he's pleased that you're responding so positively to his comments. the connection between you both is growing by the minute and you can tell he's trying his very best to avoid breaking the bubble. he wants to keep on talking, he wants to keep on flirting, he wants you two to keep on getting closer. "is that a...compliment? i get the impression that it's a compliment." he asks eagerly. “you’re something. i just can’t put my finger on it.” you go back to writing on your papers.

his eyebrows raise as he watches you go back to writing, the grin spreading from his lips fading slightly. he can't help but feel impatient with you; there was so many things he still wanted to get to know you over, but yet you kept on writing on your papers, seemingly more preoccupied with that than with him. he clears his throat slightly, his lips forming a thin line now. “may i ask what exactly is so more interesting than me?” you pause. “oh you dont want me to answer that.” you laugh. he leans further forward now, his expression turning playful but with a hint of teasing. “try me. just give me a hint of what could possibly be distracting you this much.” he throws his hands up in defense. “okay well firstly, you.”

your one answer fills him with a jolt of joy, a jolt of euphoria as he hears the words he most wanted to hear. he chuckles. “secondly?” you pretend to think. “no, that’s pretty much it.” he was taken by surprise again. you were playing with him again and he found it oddly entertaining. he tilts his head, a grin spreading across his lips once more. “really? nothing else at all except me?” you pause, pretending to think again. “nope, so hush so that im able to work.” at first he finds it hard to believe... but he knows this is just the way you are. straight to the point, blunt, straightforward. you're not the type to beat around the bush. he finds this very endearing and it makes you infinitely more attractive. he leans back in his chair for now and decides he should allow you to work. “fine fine,” he smiles. "i won't distract you any longer."

“thank you.” you say in a snappy tone before looking back up and smiling at him. his smile grows as he watches you look back up at him and smile. his heart skips a beat as your eyes lock onto his. there's a connection there between you both, he doesn't need any more proof than this. he's in awe that he's finally found someone that makes him feel this way. "can i ask you one thing?" he asks. “go ahead.” you say with your focus still on the papers in front of you.

his mouth opens to speak but hesitates. he wants to ask you but is afraid of what the answer may be. in the end he just decides to go ahead and ask what has been playing over and over in his head. "if... hypothetically, I asked you out on date, would that be something you'd be open to?" you pause, looking at him again. “are you sure this is hypothetical?” you ask.

he swallows, and then sighs, finally letting his guard down. "no, it's not hypothetical," he smiles. "I've been thinking of asking you out on a date ever since we first met. I just didn't want to risk making you uncomfortable by asking directly." he pauses for a few seconds then continues, "the question is, are you still interested? I completely understand if you're not." you chuckle at this. “hm.. alright, sure I’ll go out with you.”

this was the best possible response he could've received from you. your agreement hits him like an unexpected surge of adrenaline, and he smiles so wide that his cheeks hurt now. "are you free tonight?" he asks, his eyes never leaving yours. you could tell he was excited. you nod. “yeah, im free tonight.” his smile gets wider. "then how would you feel if i picked you up from your dorm at 7pm and we went somewhere nice, like a restaurant and then we can go for a walk and... i don't know, we'll see what happens?" at the end of his words the expression on his face changes, and his eyes flicker with hesitation. "is that alright with you?" you can’t help but smile at his nervousness. how he’s taking so fast, fiddling with his hands, you couldn’t lie, he looked so cute. “absolutely.”

your smile and positive response fills him with relief. you seem to have the magical ability to make him feel confident, at ease, and almost always, happy. he takes a deep breath to steady his nerves and then smiles again. "fantastic. i'll pick you up at 7pm, does that still work for you?" you chuckle at the way he repeats himself. “yes, 7 works for me.” he's never met anyone like you before, who can make him laugh this much. the way you chuckle at his repetitive nature is amusing to him, but it doesn't make him insecure or ashamed - it's just something that makes you, you. "fantastic, see you at seven. don't keep me waiting."

you smile at him as he gets up and leaves, shifting your focus back onto your papers that you had now finished. you started chewing on your pen as you stare down at the sheets of paper in front of you, your mind starts to wander, allowing your imagination to take over. you imagine yourself on a date with felix, the conversations you'd have, the laughs you'd share, and the smiles you'd spend hours doing. you smile warmly to yourself, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. it's a nice feeling.

seven eventually came around and you were prepared for felix to take you out. *or possibly take you down.* you heard a knock on your dorm door and immediately rushed to open it, still managing to keep your cool. you can already feel your heart beating faster as you look up and see felix standing at the entrance of your dorm. he sees you and his eyes light up, instantly sending a jolt through your body. he’s so handsome, so charming - you can’t help but feel butterflies in your stomach as he smiles down at you.

“hi, felix.” you say softly with a smile. “hi there, are you ready to go?” he smiles back at you. to see you smiling is so intoxicating, your warmth and positivity feels like a warm hug, giving you a feeling of safety and confidence. he notices your eyes are full of excitement and energy, and he can't stop staring. a part of him wants to keep staring at you, wants to memorize every detail about you, but he doesn't want to make you feel uncomfortable, so he instead looks away quickly. “yeah! im ready.” you step out and close the door behind you.

"great." he smiles at you, then places his hand over yours, gently squeezing it and lacing his fingers between yours. the feeling makes you feel so giddy and giddy inside that you can't help but smile widely. "let's go." he doesn't let go of your hand as you walk towards his car, a white jeep, which was parked right outside. your palm rests comfortably in the cradle of his fingers. he opens the car door for you, letting you enter first, before he gets in and drives you to the restaurant. in the car, your palm still rests comfortably in the cradle of his fingers. his thumb occasionally passes over your fingertips, tracing your skin. it's such a gentle, affectionate gesture, like he's checking you're still there. you can’t remember having a time more blissful or enjoyable than this one you're having right now, and you're loving every second of it.

you were a little surprised by his boldness, but still was loving each and every moment of it. he keeps his hand in yours for the short journey, but finally lets go upon your arrival at the restaurant. he smiles at you as you both leave the car and approach the restaurant, walking towards the entrance. you're now feeling very nervous and a little bit excited - your stomach is jumping with anticipation as each step brings you closer to the moment you have both been waiting for. “this is beautiful.” you look around the fancy ass restaurant in front of you.

"it really is, isn't it?" he says, looking at you now, with a wide smile on his face. "come on, let's get inside." he grabs your hand once more and leads you through the doors, into the restaurant. the interior is just as magnificent as the exterior, with plush upholstery and elegant chandeliers. you're awed by the opulence of the place, and your eyes can't help but wander around the room. once again, you find yourself looking at him more than anything else. he notices your gaze and meets it with a smile. you can't help but wonder what is going on inside his head, how he is coping with these intense feelings he has for you. he guides you both across the room to a table which is situated in the corner, away from other guests. he pulls out the chair for you to sit down and then takes his seat opposite. he looks at you for a long moment, and you can see the same intense emotions in his eyes. you can tell it's taking him all his willpower to not reach out for your hand again.

you don’t want to sit in silence, so you decide to take the initiative and start the conversation yourself. "so, I was thinking about our date and... I was just curious to know what you're expecting from this whole thing? like are you just trying to have fun or..." he listens to you carefully, his eyes never wavering. “well, I suppose it's a mix of both.” he smiles softly at you. "i definitely want to have fun, that's a given. but at the same time, i'd like to get to know you better, understand you. i feel there's this connection between us, and I want to see where it goes." you smile at his words, you really didn’t wanna admit it but you had fallen deeply for him, in the matter of what..a day? he notices your warm and comforting expression and can't help but smile back at you, unable to take his eyes off of you. he feels as if there's a connection that pulls you together, as if this is what was meant to be. it's an unfamiliar but wonderful feeling, one you've never experienced with anyone else before. you can feel the connection between you both, as if you're vibing on the same wavelength.

after two hours of nonstop conversation, jokes, laughs and smiles you both decide to call it a night. you're both in a good mood, content and happy with how the date went. as you walk to his car you can't help but notice that his hand gently brushes against yours, sending a jolt through you. as he opens the door for you and you get in your mind is filled with excitement and elation. you have such a good feeling about him, and from what he's told you and the way he’s acted with you tonight, you think he feels the same. “y’know..” you turn to him. “i really don’t want this night to end so soon..” his heart skips a beat as he hears you say that. you can tell his pulse quickens as he shifts in his seat. "me either..." he says, and his voice softens as he looks at you now. there's no denying the connection between you both, like the universe is bringing two souls together. you want this night to never end.

he turns back to the road and drives in silence for a few moments, before he pulls over and turns to look at you. he looks at you for a long time and you can feel his gaze, deep and intense. it almost feels unnatural that you're not already touching or kissing. he reaches over and gently touches your thigh, letting his fingers trace a curve along it a few times before he pulls away and says, “can i say something?" “uh huh?” you say nervously as your heart is beating so fast and you could feel your cheeks getting hot. this was definitely going somewhere and you were so excited.

he pauses for a second as he gathers his thoughts before he continues. "there's no denying the connection and chemistry between us, and... i'm feeling something that I've never felt before for anyone." You immediately catch yourself smiling, thinking that he's definitely going to try something. "can I?" he asks, his eyes locked on yours. “can you what?” you ask him. he cups your face, slyly bringing it closer as he eases in until you both just smash your lips together. you're taken aback by the suddenness of his bold move, but in just a split second you let out a soft moan, kissing him back. you can feel the passion instantly rush through your body as your kisses becomes more intense and your tongue begins to explore his mouth. you're lost in the thrill of it all as your lips move quickly and relentlessly, matching his pace. the rush of it all sends a jolt through you, as if you're feeling it in your entire body. your heart leaps up into your throat as he pulls away and lets out a soft breath. his hands slip back into your hair again and he takes you in for another long, intense kiss.

you giggle into the kiss, you’re also now forcing yourself into his lap. your tongue intertwines with his as he pulls you in tighter, his hands still firmly gripping your waist. you can feel the heat rising as your bodies touch, the sensations sending tremors through you. you feel like you're in a whirlwind of pleasure and desire, as if the whole world is spinning. he pulls you in to him so that your chest is up against his, your heart racing against his. his hands move under your back and up to the small of your back, gently massaging you. your kisses become more passionate and intense, the chemistry between you both rising to a fever pitch.

you move your hand down to his belt buckle, fumbling with it until you get it undone. you feel him shiver as you undo his belt and the sound of your breath quickened. he lets out a whisper as he kisses you on the neck. "do you want this?" you nod. “yeah, do you?” you say as your breath is shaken. "god, yes." he says, his breath shaking too. his hands slide back down to your rear and he squeezes firmly as he pulls you in closer. he reaches his hands back underneath you and lifts up your skirt. your body is pressed firmly against his, his lips brushing your neck as he kisses down to your collar bone. you can feel him reach down and pull your panties to the side. you were so eager to have him so you quickly freed him from the suffocation of his boxers.

you both moan loudly as your bodies press together, the intensity of it all so overwhelming. you can't believe this is actually happening, it feels so natural and you moan softly as he continues, his hands caressing your legs and moving up. the feeling of his hands on your bare skin sends shivers of excitement through you. your heart starts to race even faster, the sensation so overwhelming that you can't keep your breath steady. you position him at your entrance before slowly sinking down on him, earning a moan out of you as you get used to his size. “fuck!” you cry out.

"easy, love," he groans, his hands finding your hips to guide you deeper onto him. the feeling of being filled up and connected like this sends shivers down his spine. you kiss him again as you start moving on his dick. the kiss deepens as you begin to move on him, his hips meeting your rhythm. his eyes close, lost in the sensation of being both desired and desired deeply. "cum with me, baby." you nod, letting him know that you’re close to that point to. his fingers dug into your waist again as he lets out a grunt, shuddering beneath you. “of course. you made my night so special, i really really do like you, felix.” you say with a smile. “then it’s probably a good time for me to ask.” he pauses, sitting you up so you can properly see him as he speaks. “will you be my girlfriend?” you sat there in awe, you nodded your head eagerly. “but wait, it’s so early is it not?” you question. yes you did believe the term “love at first sight”, you just never thought you would live it. “it doesn't matter," he replies, cupping your cheek gently. "i want to be with you, and if that's too soon for you, then we can wait however long you need." he says in a soft voice as he strokes your hair gently. “then I don’t wanna wait. i wanna be yours.” a bright smile spreads across his face as he leans in to kiss you softly. "im glad to hear that," he whispers against your lips. Screaming in agony, Y/N and their thousands of viewers watch the character fall while the other players keep on running around. It was a dumb move really, they had to wait for the inclined platform to move closer but they didn’t wait enough and jumped right in the void, effectively losing the game. As much as Fall Guys is fun, especially for the viewers, the young adult is becoming more and more frustrated.

It started as a dumb bet made on twitter(X), as usual. And it’s not going well.

“No, guys, I SWEAR I can finish first, just wait ! Oh, thanks a lot user ynfanacc for the subscription, it means a lot !”

Smiling and talking with their chat, they are waiting for a new game to load so they can prove their worth and finally win. As a pretty popular streamer, they livestream pretty much everything, from random reacts to indie games, while not forgetting formula one related stuffs. This is mainly what makes them as known as they are, the way they can do anything and still make it entertaining and interesting.

Added to that, of course, is their close friendship with Alex, the Williams’ driver. Inseparable since their childhood, the two of them went through everything together and the whole world know this, the lingering questions about the real nature of their relationship hanging in the air. Officially, they are strictly best friends, bullying each other on social medias and celebrating together no matter what. Only themselves know what is happening behind closed doors, or well, that was true only seconds ago.

“Hey, babe, d’you know where my phone is ?”

It all happens in slow motion, Y/N spinning right towards the voice, the chat going wild, a very bare-chested, only-wearing-briefs Alex on full display in their live. The streamer doesn’t know how the pilot didn’t realize they were live, as they had been shouting and very clearly speaking with people for the past hour. Still, it’s now done and they have to react quickly, spinning back towards their computer, they hurriedly logs off without uttering a word while the man behind them curses and apologizes.

“Oh shit, fuck, I didn’t notice you were live, I’m so sorry babe I swear I didn’t know”

Sighing, Y/N stares at their black screen before getting up from their chair and walking towards Alex, slapping his chest slightly before leaning against it.

“-You’re so dumb.

-I know, I know, I’m sorry love, I really am.

-Well, what do we do now ? Jump right inside the storm and announce it or just ignore it and wait ?

-I mean, I’m pretty sure all internet is now aware of what happened so..

The man follows his lover towards their bedroom like a lost puppy, sitting on the bed next to them while they open the app up. In the corner of the room, under one of his shirt laying on the floor, he sees something light up and soon realizes it’s his phone, getting up to snatch it before laying back down next to his partner. As much as he expected his fans, and theirs, to be in shambles, he didn’t expect the 50+ messages from his three friends in their group chat. Snorting, he opens the chat and scroll quickly through what he’s missed before replying.

Snickering, the young man lets his phone fall on the bed and turns to his other half, still focused on making the perfect insta story about the situation. That was one of the things he deeply loved about them, while they may seem chaotic, explosive for those who don’t know them, they truly are meticulous and thoughtful, careful with every little things they do, every little things they say. They’re pure and sincere, a kind soul with only good intentions, and that’s everything Alex needs. His friends may act surprised, they all knew that deep down, the two souls were tied from the very beginning, and it was only a matter of time until they realized.

After some minutes, the other huffs and finally turns their phone towards the man laying down, showing him their hard work. If it were up to him, a simple sentence or two with would have been enough, he doesn’t really care about people’s opinion and whatsoever, but he knows they do, so he carefully takes the phone and look at the screen. It’s actually pretty simple considering how long it took, a picture of the two of them and a text. He smiles his usual broad smile at them and nods, taking the opportunity to kiss their cheek, despite their halfhearted complain.

There's a twisted level of fun in writing a character that isn't out right disrespectful. Of course, what Freebird says and does to Sweetheart is definitely disrespectful but it's always a case of "it could be worse" which is why, in canon at least, it goes on for so long because he isn't crossing any lines.

At least not yet.

There's a tightrope walk in making sure Freebird is just the right level of toxic without crossing entirely into that antagonistic territory. It's really the desperation for Sweetheart that helps.

Freebird is meant to written like a main character who doesn't know yet that he really isn't the main of the story he is currently in. It's why he isn't stationed in Decking City so there's that constant "This dude has no idea wtf is really going on here" thing.

Because he is meant to be a protagonist, he never straight up calls or refers to Sweetheart as a "bitch" or anything out of her name. He'd never consider it because he has morals.

However, he makes it well known how he wishes she's get rid of some of her body hair because "Imagine how much prettier you'd look!" and pokes fun at her over professional attitude around him with "You really gotta relax some. It's holding back your cute potential!"

Things that obviously suggest Freebird desires Sweetheart change things about herself to fit his tastes.

There is also very obvious over familiarity going on here where Freebird treats her like they've been pals for years while everything Sweetheart knows about him, she's learned against her will. They only met when she was in her soloing years after the Beloveds all broke up, which is a mere fraction of the time she's known Bitterbat. Freebird goes as far as to have a nickname for her that makes her bite her tongue so she doesn't strangle him on the spot whenever she hears him call her "Sweets".

He has dropped a "Sweetie Pie" and that was the closest Sweetheart got to dropping him. She held back though and ditched her whole professional act with him as she replied with a sharp "Do not ever refer to me by that name again". A statement that easily sounds like she hates being called that nickname in general, which was the point. In reality, that was Bitterbat's first nickname for her and remains his favorite to use. And having her least favorite person say it makes her feel sick to her stomach because of the history he is unknowingly stepping on.

Freebird made sure never to make that mistake again.

I personally think the most disrespectful thing Freebird does (not that all his other actions aren't disrespectful) is how he talks about Sweetheart to other people. Because he's a big American hero. Everyone knows about him and whatever he says makes big waves. He is super influential and popular. So when he talks about Sweetheart, referring to her as pretty and cute and constantly drops statements that make it obvious he views her romantically, many are going to view her as Freebird's love interest. And that pushes the idea that they are going to end up being together.

An idea Freebird does jack shit to reject because that's what he wants. And even though Sweetheart constantly rejects any romantic questions about him, dispelling any rumors and gossip, the ship continues to thrive.

Sweetheart has tried to talk to Freebird about talking sense into everyone but he always does a half attempt. The most he does is state Sweetheart isn't into him, yet always follows it up in depth with how much he admires her. He thinks they are meant to be together because they both are great heroes in their own right. He's the #1 hero of America and Sweetheart is #1 in Decking City. She obviously knows what she's doing and does it well and that's something Freebird can respect and admires.

It's needless to say that Freebird has been around a fair share of ladies. He's basically a celebrity so he has a list. And Sweetheart is the one at the top that he is hoping to be his end game.

Bittersweet is the top Sweetheart ship in Decking City and progressively the rest of the world. But before Bitterbat returned, during the years Sweetheart was working solo, Freeheart was at the top due to how many people shipped them.

And he hopes that Sweetheart will see how many people want them to date so she'll realize how well they'd go together. Sadly, a lot of these shippers wind up sharing the same views about Sweetheart that Freebird does where they also wish she'd shave and act cuter.

Of course, not everyone views the ship with rose tinted glasses. There are plenty of people that disagree with it, stating how uncomfortable Sweetheart looks when she's in public with Freebird or has to talk about him during interviews. There's whole compilations focusing on how much she doesn't like Freebird. But they get drowned out by the masses that think the two look adorable as a couple.

And it's not a matter of Sweetheart not making it obvious she isn't into Freebird.

She constantly states she doesn't see him romantically. She wouldn't even go as far as to call him a friend. He's an acquaintance of sorts that does great hero work. And she strongly desires that said great hero stops trying to get in her pants while simultaneously trying to slip a ring on her finger.

But damn near every girl he interacts with is into him. So it's hard for him to comprehend that there's even one that doesn't find him somewhat attractive save for the girls that are only into girls. Freebird is, sadly, an ally. He ain't an amazing one but he is one.

He's constantly trying to win Sweetheart over, including sending her gifts and messages through her Hero PO box that the Decking Defense Squad gives all their heroes so they can interact with fans safely.

Sweetheart never keeps any of the gifts. She gives them to someone else, typically people she know like Freebird.

Freebird is a part of my storyverse equivalent of the Avengers/Justice League with his own elite team of heroes. And it's very hard to get in. But Freebird doesn't hesitate to offer Sweetheart a spot right next to him on the roster. Something she constantly rejects, never caring for the elitism of the hero world.

Sweetheart cares about keeping civilians safe. Something Freebird also cares about. He just also cares about his status as a hero and all the perks that come with it. He figures if he's risking his life every day, he might as well live it to the fullest with all the perks that come with being one of the biggest heroes in the world.

What tf is Knights !! arc about, or also why are the kouhais essential to their general arc:

I wrote this as a thread on the bird app, but since someone is k!lling that app, I'm putting this here, with a few tweaks. Obligatory disclaimer that I have kouhais brainrot :)

1. The main !! arc

I've been guilty of complaining that Knights !! arc has been pretty vague, and yeah, it sorta was. The thing is, it was more clear to see how their arc went in !, because it was pretty simple: a bunch of individualists leaning to come together as a unit, and also healing together from their past wounds. But now that they've sorta learned to work together and have a new leader, wtf is their arc even about?

I'd argue it's exactly related to their cute new leader, but first I wanna talk about his cute new kouhais.

2. The kouhais

First we see them mentioned back in the ! arc, in Operetta, which happens in... April, in-game, if I'm not mistaken? Sometime in the Spring, for sure. That was the event that set off my kouhais brainrot <3

Ritsu and Arashi discuss how there are so many newcomers in Knights, that soon it will be as big as Chess was, and how worried they are about it. (They also have a cute moment where they call Tsukasa a miracle, which is sooo adorable, the way they love Tsukasa so much.... sobs).

The convo basically sums up their past arc (the War stuff, Tsukasa being the miracle that helped them heal and come together, etc), but also sets up something that's gonna be recurrent in their future arc: the amount of newbies they have, and how it affects the unit as a whole.

The very first time we see Knights in !!, even before they showed up in the Main Story, was the gacha story Meowsketeers, the first !! gacha. Which, surprise, is dealing with the kouhais :)

In Meowsketeers, Ritsu is bothered by how Tsukasa just bluntly dismissed a bunch of newbies because they weren't taking things seriously. Tsukasa's argument was that it's ok if you just want to have fun as an idol, but in that case they should just go to other units, because, in Knights, he wants only people who take their activities more seriously - after all, they are the top earners of ES. (Which, looking back now, is sooo funny considering how stubborn Tsukasa is in protecting his kouhais later LOL).

Anyway, Ritsu really doesn't agree with that and spends most of the story stressed about it. He understands Tsukasa's point, and he wants to support Tsukasa since they chose him as their King, but he also feels sorry for the newbies. It all gets solved when the newbies send him a video of them practicing, and apologize for not taking it seriously before, and ask him to vouch for them to be let back in the unit, and he promises them he'll convince Tsukasa to let them join again. (We are never told if Tsukasa lets them back in or not btw lol I just assume he did).

In my opinion, it’s not for nothing that this was the first Knights story in !!, as it sets up the important themes of:

- Tsukasa is not adding just anyone, he wants his newbies to make an effort!

- Ritsu is pretty attached to them, despite the worries he voiced in Operetta, and it shows (especially in euthanasia lol)

- Knights as a whole doing their best to support Tsukasa’s decisions as their leader, even if they have complaints (they’re so cute in this story btw, teasing him and all, really, go read it)

But then you might ask, why tf was their first event Next Door, which has nothing to do with the kouhais?

Next Door, my behated <3, sets up another plot that inconveniences Knights later, ESPECIALLY in Sudden Death: Leo getting shipped off to Italy with Izumi. Now, I’m not sure in universe, but irl Leo and Izumi are arguably the most popular Knights, along with Ritsu. So let’s say it might be the same in universe: them being away would be an inconvenience to knights, right?

Exactly :)

Later in SS, when Knights’ orders get leaked, Leo wants to stay in Japan to support them, but he and Izumi have to go to Eurovisio--, I mean, a festival in Europe. Not to mention the amount of times they have to fly back and forth between Japan and Italy in other stories. Back then it was mostly a funny gag, but then Sudden Death actually used it as a real problem for them.

Would Leo and Izumi being there have changed how things happened? Likely not lol but we’ll never know.

I’ll get back to this, but back to the kouhais.

Next event, the first Knights unit song event, euthanasia, they’re once again the source of conflict. Izumi is upset that Knights funds and time are being used on the kouhais, Tsukasa insists it’s a necessary investment. Leo agrees with Tsukasa, because he wants to support him, as the former King (he actually does this a lot through this arc tbh and it’s so cute). Arashi sort of agrees with Izumi, despite being in Yumenosaki and supporting Tsukasa, she agrees that she doesn’t want to spend her time training the newbies, but instead improving herself. Ritsu isn’t happy with all the fighting and proposes a duel, euthanasia.

The thing is euthanasia is just a play for him to prove the kouhais aren’t just useless deadweight (as he has them performing alongside Knights), but he also understands Izumi’s and Arashi’s worries, so his solution is to leave the kouhais training in the hands of the Producer Association.

This event also brings back the concern Ritsu and Arashi had back in Operetta: with this many newbies, soon Knighs will be like Chess, and we know how Chess ended, right? But Ritsu squashes those worries by showing that: 1) unlike Chess members, the newbies are hardworking, and 2) they have the support of groups like the Producer Association now, while back during the War, Chess (and all other units) were on their own.

Also, one thing almost everyone forgets is that Chess actually ended because of the new payment system the student council set up: units received a certain amount for their lives, and it was up to them to share among the members, so the more members a unit had the less the individuals would be paid. Having a unit with more than 5 members would mean their payment would be less than their investments in the show, making it a loss to have to have so many members.

But Knights is a top earner now, one of the Big 3 of ES, so money is not a concern for them.

So now the newbies are not much of a hindrance to Knights, what else next?

After euthanasia, we get Fragrance, which again has nothing to do with the newbies, just like Sunshine, which is just Knights on vacation. But I’ll get back to that.

Fragrance is a pretty fun story, as it picks up on Arashi’s individualistic side (I don’t think it’s a bad thing btw, it’s one of Knights’ charm points imo). They’re offered to work with Aarashi’s favorite perfume brand, but she hesitates because he doesn’t want to taint her good memories of it. The others try to force her hand on it, and she ends up getting mad at them when they try to turn it into a duel. It’s a pretty good story for Arashi, as she shows her more assertive side again (after being more or less just going along with whatever their cute King suggested), but it’s also a pretty interesting story for Ritsu, imo. Back in !, he was a more laid back character who didn’t meddle so much, and Horror Night Halloween demonstrates this pretty well in the flashback sequence: he didn’t have the courage to step in and change things. When Izumi and Leo had that fight, he could only stand there listening behind that door. Now he doesn’t just stand there doing nothing, but actually takes action when Knights need it. Only this time he goes a bit overboard and ends up upsetting Arashi lol. It worked well with the kouhais conflict before, but he’s still learning how to balance his meddling lmao

Then after this we get, Sudden Death. (Man, I hate the SS arc…)

This time we get an interesting info on the kouhais: there are other, smaller, subunits of kouhais competing in Knights’ name in other regions. And there are about six of them accompanying Knights here, although they’re “in hiding”, as apparently they’re not very good yet.

I won’t give a summary on this story because it’s long and I always end up going on a hate tangent, but what’s important here are two things: the already mentioned bit of Izumi and Leo having to be abroad being an actual problem this time, and Tsukasa’s feelings for the kouhais.

I’ve talked a lot about this before on the bird app, but: Tsukasa LOVES these kids, despite whatever he says. Trust me.

After Tsukasa’s, uh, “execution” he’s too depressed to leave his room, so he can’t help Ritsu and Arashi with the plan of performing for an entire week in the avenue they reserved. Instead, it is the six not-very-good kouhais who step in to help them in his place. He reflects that he hadn’t really seen them as individuals before, but as tools, as an investiment for Knights. “Kohaku” argues that that’s not true, he must have cared for them or else they wouldn’t have stepped in to help as they did.

Sudden Death shows Tsukasa’s first failure as Knights’ leader. He trusted someone else and got betrayed. He then refused to fight back, even though he knew it would affect Knights negatively, to protect Kohaku’s family. In Requiem, when he received the crown, he declared he wouldn’t choose between his career as an idol, as Knights, and his family. But here he’s finally forced to choose between Knights and his family (Kohaku and the Oukawa clan). And he chooses his family. And it hurts him so much he’s almost suicidal.

And this is basically the last we see of Knights as a whole in this year, chronologically. We get a small peek at them during the SS finals, but it’s mostly them bickering. After this event, which reportedly left every TsukasaP dead, we rewind back in the year, to Tanabata in Seven Bridges, and the vacation in Sunshine.

Sunshine is a special case, the “funny filler vacation event”, the “beach episode” if you will. Leo fakes a slump to force Knights to go on vacation, except this vacation is basically performing at a summer festival, but which will allow them a few days to relax at the beach. And yeah, it’s funny and cute, until you realize this happens riiiight before A Dark Night’s Passing (aka that whole GFK mess, actually Leo might have already been involved in that guy during this) and Next Door (aka Leo getting scared his friends would use him, but then plotting a Judgment where he’d purposefully lose and allow them to do whatever they wanted with him, which ended up in him benign sent to Izumi to deal with). Fun stuff, right? Haha…. laughs in sad LeoP.

Seven Bridges once again is an Arashi focus, kicking off the 1.5 Main Story arc, with the plot of the cenotaph being removed and Arashi being upset about it. It also introduces Hitsugi/Negi.

But it also shows the kouhais once again, and how they were being treated by the students in the producer course (basically being ignored by the producers-to-be, who were all starry-eyed about working with THE Knights and only seemed to care about Ritsu, Arashi and Tsukasa), and Tsukasa being upset about it.

Now forgive me for being vague as this event wasn’t fully translated yet and I only read the livetweets a while ago. But basically Tsukasa is pretty upset at the Peace Party (a group of producer students who basically decides who will produce Knights, and has been lowkey bullying Anzu and Hitsugi/Negi), and after it is revealed that the cenotaph is being removed because of the Tanabata plan which the Peace Party forced Anzu to sign as her own, coupled with them treating the kouhais as less then, Tsukasa decides to basically boycott the school’s Tanabata festival and refuses to let Knights participate in it, instead choosing to participate in ES’s Tanabata. Of course, they end up participating later (I don’t remember exactly why, but if I’m not mistaken it’s because Anzu changes the plan to mix the school’s festival with ES, or something like that), but what matters to me is: Tsukasa is SO upset on the behalf of Arashi (who’s upset about the cenotaph being removed), Anzu (who’s being bullied by the Peace Party), AND his kouhais (who are being mistreated and ignored by the producer students).

But didn’t he say the kouhais were just some assets to him??

We get now to Mad Tea Party, which is set in November, right after Fragrance. Knights want their newbies to be the ones to participate in Underland (that Alice themed event we saw in Ra*bits and Alkaloid already), to better promote the newbies. Until Izumi learns that a fashion designer he admires is designing the outfits for it, and then he demands to participate too. They decide the five older members will participate along with the kouhais, but again Izumi is pissed that Ritsu/Arashi/Tsukasa are holding back during practice for the kouhais. He demands they choose only the best ones to participate. Tsukasa wants everyone to participate. Fight (duel) ensues.

We once again get Tsukasa “newbies are just an investment” Suou fighting for his kouhais. Once again we get Izumi on the opposite side of him.

This event also has an interesting point for Izumi’s character, with him complaining, why do they have to take it easy with the kouhais? Izumi himself didn’t have it easy when he started as a model and later as an idol! Remember how his favorite hobby is to bully newbies? His justification is that he wants to prepare them for how harsh the entertainment world is. This ends up clasing with how Tsukasa treats the kouhais.

But wait, wasn’t Tsukasa harsh to them during Meowsketeers?? He kicked some of them off because they weren’t taking it seriously!!

Exactly. Back then, during Meowsketeers, which happens early in the timeline, they weren’t taking it seriously. Mad Party happens in November, after euthanasia, where Ritsu mentions their kouhais are hardworking and won’t set them back. They are Knights too.

3. The real arc

I’ve talked a lot, but I’ll try to put it clearly now: this entire time, Knights arc has been about Tsukasa setting in as Knights leader, and how Knights support him/react to his actions.

Tsukasa is the youngest member of the original five. He’s also many times been referred to by them as their miracle. The one who guided them back to the light. Izumi puts it clearly in Requiem that they only kicked their asses back into gear because they had a “cute kouhai” nagging at them.

But because he’s so young and inexperienced, he also needs their support. He makes decisions they’re not always happy about, but he insists he doesn’t want to be a tyrant, so everytime they’re not satisfied with something they argue and duel until they come to an agreement. It always ends up mostly ok, until it doesn’t in Sudden Death.

Everything lines up to go wrong in Sudden Death. They’re up against Tsukasa’s dear Kohakun, who he absolutely trusts. Kohaku doesn’t know what the rest of his unit are up to. Izumi and Leo have to leave and can’t help them. Even Ritsu, Knights’ strategist, didn’t predict what would happen, because despite everyone being wary of Crazy:B, they decided to support Tsukasa who thought he could trust them. The consequences of both Knights and Crazy:B’s orders affect Kohaku, who’s loved by both Crazy:B and Tsukasa.

Even if they could have escaped the trap Crazy:B prepared for them, Tsukasa would have still been affected, as Crazy:B NEEDED to defeat Knights, or else Kohaku’s family would suffer. Tsukasa wasn’t aware of that back then, but the results would still hurt him regardless of what happened.

But it did happen, and Tsukasa had his first failure as Knights leader. And when he was at his lowest and couldn’t be there with his seniors, it were his kouhais who were there. Tsukasa thinks he “neglected” the kouhais, but “Kohaku” claims they must admire him, even be grateful to him.

We are never given names or faces for the kouhais. We are only told of their actions and lines through other characters, they’re basically NPCs. Ironically, they’re a tool in the story (but not in the way Tsukasa thinks lol): they’re here to showcase Tsukasa’s leadership skills. Even though Tsukasa believes he “neglected” them, we see it time and time again in other events how he stubbornly fought for them, even against his own beloved senpais. He diligently trained and invested time and money in them. He might have thought of them as mere assets, but they likely didn’t see it like this. What would you think if you had a senpai fighting for you, investing so much in your idol career, trying his best to make sure you flourish as Knights members? “Kohaku” was probably right. They likely admire him. Why else would they continue to perform even after they lost? Even after they saw their leader go through such a humiliating defeat? Everything Tsukasa did for them led to them being loyal to him.

This also brings back the parallel to Chess, which dissolved immediately after the students were told there wouldn’t be many benefits to being in a big unit. They weren’t loyal to each other, even before that the members barely even tried. When Leo offered them money in exchange for them not participating in Checkmate, resulting in their default loss and Knights victory, they gleefully accepted it. Because they weren’t “serious” about being idols. They didn’t have the pride and the will to win. They didn’t really care about that battle.

Ritsu and Arashi in Operetta, Izumi and Arashi in euthanasia, they were all concerned about Knights ending up like Chess, filled with a bunch of lazy members who would just coast along to their fame and not really do anything. But because of how strict Tsukasa was in Meowsketeers, how stubborn he was about how they were treated in Seven Bridges, how insistent he was through most of the !! events about training and investing in them, the newbies are now hardworking, loyal members to Knights.

Tl;dr: Knights kouhais were necessary tools to showcase Tsukasa’s leadership skills and how different Knights are now from Chess, hope this helps <3. Tsukasa is a LIAR, who says he neglected his kouhais but he’s fought basically everyone in Knights to keep them there. Ritsu is also the ultimate kouhai advocate, maybe even more than Tsukasa himself, and always comes up with a way to help them. IzuAra aren’t too happy, but Arashi still does her best to support Tsukasa, and Izumi ends up armstrong into training the kouhais too in Mad Part LOL. Leo had his Opinions, but ultimately he wants to support Tsukasa, as the old king supporting the new king. Knights kouhais are all stubborn hardworking babies who LOVE Tsukasa, and I’ll keep brainrotting over then as long as happyele keeps giving me Tsukasa being cute with them!

4. Conclusion: two kings?

We still have Knights climax story to go, a guaranteed Tsukasa 5* event. My prediction is that it will pick up from where Sudden Death left off, mostly on Tsukasa’s feelings of how he failed as a leader and how his seniors AND his kouhais still supported him after that.

Back when !! released, there was an interesting plot thread that was thrown in and then forgotten: Leo and Tsukasa acting as the two kings of Knights.

Tsukasa is too belligerent in the new arc, according to main story, and Leo usually acts as the face of Knights, to direct any ill comment towards him instead of at Tsukasa. Leo talked more about it in his first idol story, if I’m not mistaken, saying it confused the fans and how it looked like Knights had two Kings now, and that they might need to solve this with a Judgment lol.

And then that plot thread was just. Completely forgotten and dropped LOL. With Leo being shipped off to Italy with Izumi, supposedly Tsukasa was free to act as the absolute King and ultimate face of Knights, right?

I think that might be brought back after Sudden Death, though. We might get some conflict about how his actions led to Knights defeat, especially contrasted with how Leo wasn’t there to take the brunt of it. We were told the fans weren’t happy at all about what happened, in Parallel World Nazuna comments the fans were MAD at Crazy:B lol. So who knows, maybe the ultimate test of Tsukasa’s leadership is still to come.

It might just be my wishful thinking tho because I want leokasa gay fighting again <3

volume V thoughts bc once again fusebox has got me intrigued

first of all omg wtf

I usually end up reading a few spoilers before I play bc I'm bored at work but don't wanna play the volume until I get back but I had such a busy day at work I didn't do that and wow ok I gotta avoid spoilers more often I was shook

so excess baggage was okay. like yeah makes sense we want the couples to be tense again before voting the couple superlatives thing, but also such a throwaway. (and also I talked about this in my post about last volume, but we have so many challenges in a row!! why)

since my MC did initially flirt with Oakley a lot more than Jin, I do think it's funny Oakley talks about how cool MC's secret is (like it's annoying fs but also something I've seen happen on love island to create small drama but then ultimately it's just talk so it's nice to have that happen here).

Also i was worried Oakley was gonna turn on us or flirt with us and abandon Emel, so I'm very glad he was just asking for advice. (I'm a big Oakley and Emel fan, what can I say?) I'd be okay if that led into a different storyline where you could pursue Oakley later, but with how fusebox has been making the seasons lately, once you pick you've made your choice and I do miss in for example s2 where even if you don't pick Lurik when they first become available you have a chance the next recoupling and it feels like it changes your route.

Jack is still mad at MC??

Couples game was fun. I wish fusebox formatted it so you discuss with your partner and then make a choice before everyone revealed their answers instead of people talking and explaining before the player picks their answer. Like we know the characters already, just let me pick and we can see who agrees.

Oakley's evening wear outfit 😍 best dressed boy fs

I of course could never bear to see Oakley and Emel go, but I surprisingly actually missed Sophie and Jack as soon as they left but like in a me missing Allegra and Miles/Jasper when they left. Like yeah they were irritating but they brought drama and I understand where Allegra/Sophie is coming from (and I support women's wrongs lol)

Jin going through his main character of S6 arc??? No but fr I can't imagine why the public would vote him out so he's either hiding something that's gonna come out when he gets back or he was voted most popular and is gonna come back soon. I hope it's not casa because (1) that already happened in s6 and (2) I want the chance to flirt around with new characters in casa lol. I've seen a few theories around and I have no idea which is true but if I could throw in another idea which is post casa, MC is finally with a bombshell, Claudia/Theo, or a casa boy and things seem good but Jin and Luna show up together as returning islanders and MC has to choose between Jin and her current LI.

It's so interesting for drama, like ik I'm here for it. But a lot of people like loyal routes so I hope yall are doing okay

I was like half hoping we could walk out with him even though of course fusebox isn't giving us that option but like I wish he said something like hey you just got here, enjoy your time at the Villa and I'll wait out there for you no matter what happens. just to explain why MC wouldn't leave. that being said, their goodbye was so sweet.

One thing that's different in the game than the show is the number of islanders present at once, which makes sense its hard to keep track of all of them (though they've done it before in s2), and it just is weird bc now the people in the Villa are MC (single), Claudia and Theo (who don't like each other), and Emel and Oakley (only one couple).

despite my complaint about the challenge thing this is great pacing/timing for a new islander. it's just a shame the screwed over Tyler coming in so soon after MC. I can't remember if I already wrote this in my last post but I almost wish he came in with MC and got a better chance.

Criminal Justice (2007)- Episodes 1-5. Watching Con O'Neill's old stuff cause it's fun. Day #? RALPH STONE!

Warnings: Murder. Blood. Drug Use. Needle Use/Injection is shown on the scene. Drunk driving. Accused/discussed sexual assault. Abusive parents, grief, and general bullshit in the justice system.

Should you watch this if you haven't: YES! Five episodes, each being an hour, but if you don't have any issues with the warning, it should be a fun time. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this show and Con is a very important character! He is on screen more than most of his other tv parts and is having a great time. It's a story about one defendant and the shit that goes down as he's tried for the crime.

I skipped Ralph's scene/ the trial. Seriously the preview in ep 1 gives you the gist. Read a summary. Etc. His roomie is great.

GOD HIS CELLMATE IS SO GOOD.

Final thoughts:

I think the fact that this was a mob member being the real murder and that it was covered up was the real thing here. The entire point and moral the audience was meant to learn. It didn't matter if Ben had the best case, the entire Crown was against him. Ralph and his team could have been the best defense lawyers in the world and it still would have gotten buried. I'm happy the final evidence came out, obviously, but Ben was fucked over in so many ways. Now what life does he have? He lost his friends, his trust in his family, and is now destined to fall back into the system he knows. It's a shame. 

Con: 11+/10. Long hair AND glasses AND he's Exhausted! Perfect role. I want him. I want to be him. He's divorced, and sad, and I love it.

Ralph saved this series for me personally. He was so much fun. I will be updating the Con list here soon to include bit TV roles. Ralph is going to be high on my ranking. We are given a Con character who has REAL impact on the story, introduces the audience to the rules of this world, AND GETS A HAPPY ENDING! It's brilliant. Obviously, there are moral issues to him being such a good defense attorney to allow criminals to get away, but this whole story was about giving Ralph a different perspective. He's a slime-ball but he's not totally against change. Willing to look at other perspectives. He started to genuinely care about his client, and didn't treat it as some weird game of chess. Him genuinely helping the younger defense attorney was nice, especially because he rarely blew up at her for her choices. He did his best to help where he could and didn't take things personally when shit blew up. 

Con's acting here is so fun and fluid! I hate being a person that ties OFMD into everything, but this is kind of what I want Izzy to become. Con's allowed to be fun! He's allowed to be mad, suspicious, have doubt etc. There are a few scenes that got me chuckling just by his face! He feels really confident and comfortable in this role. He talks with his hands! He's a dick, a total slime-ball, but he really cares about getting things done right! I love it. 

Everyone else: 8/10. Nothing really stood out besides our protagonist, and after a quick google, he won an award for this role. Which is deserved. He does great. I liked the characters the show wanted me to like, and vice versa. 

Story 7/10: Intriguing. I had fun, but this show sits more in the turn off your brain and gets swept along by the bullshit, vs trying to solve it yourself. 

Overall. 9/10: I highly recommend it if the tags don't worry you. Con is in this enough to justify a Con watch. I have a thing for Professor esk Con. I will not be ashamed about that. His whole speech about how he was perceived was nice. Now, this is about five hours of commitment, but If you need something longer I'd recommend it.

7 - I’m very proud of the world building I’ve managed to do in fmn. Taking the modern world as we know it with concepts such as trashy reality tv, and social media and inserting those into Westeros while still keeping true to their society and traditions has been such a fun experience.

12 - Surprisingly enough as a proud Lucemonder, when I first got into fandom I didn’t particularly like enemies to lovers. Maybe it’s because I was a shojo kinda girl growing up and loved romance manga centered around the cliche childhood friends hiding their true feelings trope.

I think I was like 15 when I read a Brienne/Jamie fic for the first time and was like “wtf he’s such an asshole to her, why would anyone ship them?” but I was curious and gave it a chance which im happy I did because enemies to lovers is everything.

16 - I would absolutely love to read a Lucemond fic centered around the two of them learning healthy intimacy together in all forms. Luke is deathly afraid of rejection and has strong feelings of unworthiness while Aemond suffers from religious guilt and trauma from his first time at that brothel. So it would be nice to explore how the two work through those issues. Basically very tender pwp, but the plot is heavy.

21 - There actually is a missing scene I excluded from chapter 23. Jace asks Luke about his day out which ends with him alluding to almost hooking up with Aemond in the front seat and leads to Jace going out to threaten Aemond in the next chapter.

23 - A FAIRY OR MERMAID AU, omg I would die to write one. It would be so whimsical 😭

38 - Fmn becoming as popular as it is still shocks me because I uploaded it on a whim and never expected many ppl to read it. I initially thought most would find the concept to be over the top and avoid but I was apparently wrong because that’s what ive been told makes it appealing lmao.

So, I've been bingeing bunch of old Smosh stuff because I am pretty new on the channel and stuff. I've already watch "We Suck At Dating" series but I haven't watch "A Psychic Predicts Our Love Life" before because I didn't really vibe on that kind of stuff so much. but boys this one is a spicy and spooky one that I wish I watch it before.

When one of the Shourtney IG fans account stories cap the snippet of video on predict that C will has a first child. I was like "they really goes that hard on that video?!?!?!" So I decided to just watch the whole thing. What I've discovered is so fucking spooky. If you don't have a relationship context before you will think that it's just a normal prediction video. They might or might not be true. But if you do, this psychic prediction is open up a lot of thing. Like A LOT. So I decided to write this up here because of all the small details that psychic give is matter a lot.

I've transcribed all the prediction in video below and I will add my commentary on each one according to what we know. Also, this video is released on 7th Feb 2020. So at this point there should not be anything with them yet. just FYI.

So I really love playing Jump Force, I love fighting games in general. I'm a fan of Kusoge (really bad janky Fighting games) the tech and combos you can find in games like this are always fun for me to find out. I've been playing the game with friends and we all love it but there's one thing I've thought was bad, no, downright fuckin stupid.

It's always been a bit weird to me, with some choices confusing me so hard I burst a blood vessel. Like Boa Hancock? Really? And no gohan for DBZ??? Are they acting like Neanderthals on purpose?

I hoped the DLC would fix this but no, still some pretty weird angering choices. For One of the most popular manga and anime in the world, the DLC for DBZ was Fat Buu... wtf???

So I had an idea, not to change the whole roster, but to use the DLC as a "Second Wind" of sorts, I have my reasons for each and if this gets enough notes I might put a detailed reasoning for each of the DLC and why.

(the ship one is about kaeluc... I hate it so much why is it kinda popular in the russian side of the fandom <- salty and miserable)
