Just Dance Care AU!

Ok ok so I thought of a story for this Au but it’s nothing really impactful or full of drama and angst like my other au’s, I wanted to leave this au easy and fun to play around, because, let’s say it. Just Dance and drama in the same sentence makes me laugh.

Anyway here’s the story so far: 

Year 2029, videogames industry made a huge step forward and classic consoles and devices were substituted by the new and upgraded VR headsets with full body tracking. It’s something like the NerveGear in Sword Art Online without the kill switch. Some games still require you to actually move your body (like fitness games or sports because yeah, they don’t have a purpose otherwise). 

Y/n wanted to buy the newest VR headset but, while searching for the best offer, they found out FazCo entertainment was hosting a giveaway, the prize? One of their prototypes, a VR meant to be released the next year coinciding with the opening of their first mega pizza plex.

(so the plex doesn’t exist right now). You decide to sign up for the giveaway and after a while you receive an email telling you you won the VR headset and that, to claim it, you need to read and sign a series of NDA policies (understandable, it’s a prototype headset that’s not even in commerce). Some clauses are a little bit concerning but nothing you hadn’t read on other electronics booklets, so you decide to sign. After, like, a day, you have the VR in your hands. 

The box let you know with super saturated and colorful writing, that the VR came with a game pre-installed inside. Uh, that’s why they were giving one away, they wanted a free game tester…but you know what, it’s worth it.

You always liked Just Dance games, they make you think about happy memories of your childhood. This pre-installed game called “Five Dances at Freddy’s” is a close copy of your childhood game with original FazCo songs, characters, environments and also some collaborations with other famous artists. It probably will be the cause of a big copyright infringement report.

There are various ways to play it: story mode, Casual dance, Five Dances, and Just Dance Care.

The first one is similar to the casual dance mode but with little cutscenes between a dance and another to tell a tale, Casual dance is how you can play the collab songs, Five Dances is the multiplayer mode and Just Dance Care is a more uhhhh “hard” way to play the game with all the other modes mixed in it. You stare at the description of the last mode smirking and decide to try it first just to see how far you can get before losing (yes you can lose in hard mode in this Just Dance, but you don’t die, you just have to restart from the beginning). Turns out the FazCo wasn’t kidding when they advertised the new headset as a breakthrough in the world of virtual reality headsets, the thing TRANSPORTED you inside the game itself. 

You almost have a heart attack when you can’t find your VR on your head, but before you can try something you are blocked by two tall individuals who you think are the “tutorial” characters. 

Yadda yadda, tutorial, you can pause the game and exit whenever you need just by opening an hidden menu, you find out your tutorial characters are called Sun and Moon and that you are way worse than you remembered at dancing (damn full body tracking, there is no way you are going to do a cartwheel in the middle of a dance, you still don’t know if your body is inside your home and if you’ll physically feel pain if you fall and you don’t want to find out).

You pass an embarrassingly long time trying to win your first dance battle just to discover it was still the tutorial. 

You try to go on with the story but you fail at the first real battle with a bear character named Freddy. 

And guess what? You have to start again from the tutorial! Y/n is gonna spend A LOT of time with Sun and Moon if this goes on.

Palette Challenge Moon ( JDCAU)

Love how it turned out, they look so prettyyyyyyy. Also this is 100% what the nap corner looks like, pillows and blankets and little hanging glow stars with sheer curtains to make it feel like a safe lil area separate from the rest of the daycare! (Moon enjoys reading here as you can see :3)

The palette is from this post! The brown was the hardest to use since it has a very similar value to the dark green...so I used it sparingly >~<

Andddddd since the palette is originally meant as a challenge... @abyssguardian Challenge accepted, I shall use not just one of your palettes but ALL your palettes! >:3 Eventually...

Technically it is my smoons not og's....but never drawn them in these outfits or all interacting so....Moon, Bunny (J-TOL) and Sunny and Moony (JDCAU) all having a sleepover at the J-TOL plex! How nice :3

DJ Music Man!!!

From my ace week Fnaf SB series, art below the cut along with a close up of mini (cause they are adorable) (I should also say this is by NO means the correct scaling of DJ compared to the Mini's...i just couldn't draw them any smaller unless i drew on a bigger canvas...the mini's are cat sized, and Smoon (the tallest animatronics asides DJ itself can sit criss cross on one of his hands easily with space so....he big.) Despite the fact I am still working on a Halloween story for JDCAU (Part one is out!) It's time to prepare forrrrr...... *drum roll*

The 12 days of Smoon-mas!!!!

As a lead up to Christmas I'll be working on a short series of 12 oneshots all with a christmas theme in mind for Smoon (and the rest of the plex) in my JDCAU! These will be posted starting in December! Of course it won't be the ONLY thing I'll be doing for Christmas, but it will be my big project!

Buttttt....as you can see, I only have 4 of the needed 12 prompts, I still need 8 more.

So! I'm asking for y'alls ideas and suggestions for some christmas-y prompts till November 30th! (They just need to be SFW please!) And then I'll choose some to add to the list!!! :3

And feel free to join in and do a 12 days of Smoon-mas yourselves!!! If you do and post on here, maybe tag it 12 days of Smoon-mas!!! I'd love to see if this became a thing and see what other people make!! :3

Did some silly alignment charts with my smoons a while ago, some of them are...not up to date design wise (Moony's pin...yellow and cheshire in general....) or...do not have an icon (ahem....Polaris, Moondrop, Madders...eheh.....)

Happy New Years eve 2023 y'all!!! Hope this was good year for everyone, end the year off right with Beats here! (JDCAU DJMM He/it) It's also his unofficial birthday in the Au! :3

Andddd because any minute now it will offically be new years day (in my timezone as of posting this) Let's start 2024 off by celebrating with Dee here! (J-TOL DJMM any/all pronouns) And it is their unofficial birthday in the Au as well! (What can I say, the both love music, parties and seeing people have fun, to a lot of people new years is just that! (not mine but still XD)

Happy new years 2024 everyone!!!! I hope you all have a great year full of laughs, love, and doing stuff that makes you all happy!!! <3

It's both very strange and very interesting to think as a writer...I don't fully have the words to express certain things about my JDCAU Smoon beans

Like...split control, how control in general and their mind space as a whole functions. I've dabbled in trying to express bits of it, cause I KNOW how it functions, the general FEELINGS of it, but there's a level of...intangibility that makes it hard to express (My writober prompt 'dreamscape' and a few linked ones to do with the virus touch on this best)

I know what I was trying to express, but I do not know how well I was able to express something...intangible as their mindscape, control, how they function in tandem.

And the other thing alongside this would be them, them as a whole, their relationship.

I had originally wanted to portray them ambiguously, a sense of love and ever present support for the other but not explicitly romantic, platonic, queerplatonic or familial. Instead to be left to the readers interpretation

And this WORKS

But isn't entirely true at the same time. They DO have a relationship of a sense, but there is again a certain...intangibility to it that can't be expressed.

They are two and they are one, they are one as they are two. Two halves to make a whole, individuals that complete the other.

Interwoven to the very base coding of their beings, inseparable on a base level.

It is nothing and it is everything, they are everything to each other just as they are each other and not.

Like I said, there is no words to express it, the sense of intangibility that is them as a whole.

They greatly contrast Bunny and Moo who are of the same universe, as they are individuals (this shows as they chose to separate) important to each other, able to fall back on their other and be supported but...they aren't each other, they are partners, companions, a support network, but not the same.

The only ones even CLOSE to Sunny and Moony's relationship is the Celestials, but even then it's not the same.

They are each others half, interwoven beings by creation, created to be together in place of the ones that made them that can't be together. Together is how they are meant to be, they are not related, but they are connected in place of their creators love for another.

And to think this ramble was caused from trying to answer how Sunny and Moony's split control works and 6am musings.

DJ Music Man or Glamrock Chica?

Looking at a Map of the plex...I can't decide which direction to go in so...Imma do a poll so I can write with the results in mind tomorrow! Smoon are taking the children around the plex for halloween activities (I know its November I'm very late!!!!) They can start in the direction of the Fazcade and See DJ Music man first orrrrr go in the opposite direction and go to Mazercise first and see Chica. Your actions will have consequences, choose wisely. :3
