As someone who is genderfae (microlabel under genderfluid), I have a lot of different experiences with gender.

I just wish someone told me sooner that it won't go like "today I'm a girl" "today I'm an enby" but more like ,,, "today I am a swamp witch" "today I am a feminine victorian vampire boy" "today I am a forest goblin collecting people's stares about my gender expression like shiny rocks on the ground" "today I'm an androgynous pirate lady"

Like,,, sure, are those real genders? I don't fucking now. If a cisgender person asked me what I identify as that day, would I answer like that? No, definitely not.

But to my genderqueer, trans and genderfluid friends; do you get me? I can't be alone with this, right?

I have seen Gender Crisis live, their professional recordings do not serve them justice, the energy was phenomenal. The band has great chemistry and Rory regularly uses the moshpit as his personal runway.

Y'know, maybe saying "my gender is whatever is funniest in the moment", and "my gender is comedy" after finding out I was trans, should've been a sign that I was not rigidly within the binary.

In my mind, Aziraphale is "agender" and Crowley is "gender fluid".*

Aziraphale (they/them) and a possible (it/its) while Crowley is a (She/Her), (He/him), (they/them), and if need be, a (xie/xem).

*Since they're an angel and a demon that means human pronoun/gender rules don't exactly work "normally"

I love the way the Good Omens fandom handles the whole gender/pronoun thing for the characters.

I also really love the (they/them) for Muriel!

On the topic of gender thoughts, one thing that’s been difficult to explain to cis people who’ve never really thought of gender before is that I always specify “genderfluid” rather than saying “nonbinary” (they ask for some reason) because in my own understanding of my gender, it doesn’t fit very well, because even tho I do have many days where I’ll feel nonbinary or agender, I also have many days where there’s very much a binary gender going on

And they just. Stare at me like I’m explaining calculus to them.
