Based on a skit from TikTok - Azula once went to visit her brother and uncle at the Jasmine Dragon and got mistaken as a waitress by a Karen customer. The customer demanded to see a manager and Azula said she would go get him then proceeded to lounge in the employee’s only room for half an hour until the customer got angry enough to yell at Zuko and demand that he fire Azula to which Zuko responded “She doesn’t even work here.”

Zukka week 2024

Day 1: Ba Sing Se/Jasmine Dragon AND Fake Dating

A second Part of my "Bridgerton AU" Where Zuko and Sokka made a ruse to get what they want: Zuko a future Marriage and Sokka his freedom. Now, they made everything in public, trying to convince important people, like Uncle Iroh and Zuko's ex girlfriend (and her actual girlfriend), Mai and Ty Lee.

But it seems that all this pretention it's not just that anymore, isn't it?

Zukkaweek Day 1: Jasmine Dragon

ATLA AU where Zuko by some reason begins playing the matchmaker in the Jasmine Dragon by pairing customers based on their tea order

bonus points if Jin also works at the Jasmine Dragon and keeps saying "but they're so different!! They could never be a couple!!" only to be proved wrong when the pairs Zuko set up actually began dating and she's slowly going crazy over this

“Zuko,” Sokka repeated the name as he stole a glance out the window. The guy, Zuko, had finished watering his plants, and was now carrying the very furry orange cat back into the apartment. “You know him?”

“Ya. His sisters attend the Dojo. He actually works at that cafe nearby; the one who’s owner threatened to ban you after you asked for four shots of espresso.”

“It was four very needed shots! He’s not going to ban me; the old guy thinks I’m funny. But what do you know of him?”

Sokka finally got a glance at the person living across the apartment complex, and it turned out the balcony overflowing with plants and cat toys didn't belong to some old lady - no it belonged to the hottest guy he'd ever seen.

An Unfortunate Turn of Events

day 1 of Zukka Week @zukkaweek - Ba Sing Se/Jasmine Dragon

After a particularly long day of working at the tea shop, Zuko just plops onto his bed with no intention of getting up whatsoever. He is beginning to doze off, when a knock on his window rouses him from his half-asleep state. He reluctantly gets up and drags himself across the room to open the window.

“Are you sure they still don’t suspect anything?” he asks Sokka as he crawls into the room.

“Relax, no one saw me leave” Sokka assures.

“Good,” Zuko manages to say before Sokka's lips are pressed against his own. The boy wraps his arms around Zuko and pulls him closer.

“I missed you,” he whispers as he pulls away from the kiss and rest his head on the boy’s shoulder instead.

“You were here yesterday,” Zuko points out. “And the day before, and...”

“So what?” Sokka asks. “I still had to go a whole day without you!”

“That’s so cheesy,” Zuko teases, cupping Sokka’s face and pressing a quick kiss to the tip of his nose. Of course, Sokka was right, a whole day was actually a long time to wait until they could see each other again. Zuko was getting really tired of the constant waiting, of hiding from his uncle, from Sokka's friends, from the whole city. He often found himself imagining that there was never any war, that he was just a regular tea shop worker and Sokka was just an average customer, that they met in the Jasmine Dragon, not while fighting on the opposide sides of said war. So simple, yet so wonderful.

“What are you thinking about?” Sokka asks, rousing Zuko from his meditations.

Before Zuko can say anything, the door opens and his uncle barges into the room. His eyes land upon Sokka and he freezes in spot. Zuko and Sokka exchange a quick look. Zuko can tell that they both wish for the same thing right now - to turn invisible, or just straighr up dissapear into thin air.

“Oh, what an unfortunate turn of events,” Uncle says eventually.

Zuko’s heart sinks.

“Uncle, I-”

“I only made two bowls of rice,” Uncle continues, ignoring Zuko’s attempt to explain himself. “If you excuse me for a moment, boys, I will make one more,” he announces before leaving the room again, muttering something about Zuko needing to let him know if he intends to have guests.

“Uhm... Looks like i’m gonna have to stay for dinner,” Sokka laughs nervously.

“And it looks like you won’t have to sneak in through the window anymore,” Zuko adds. After the initial relief of not getting yelled at or punished, he begins to realize that it gets even better. Once they don't have to sheak around Uncle, it's going to be so, so much easier.

“But what if I like sneaking in through your window?” Sokka asks.

“Ugh, you just have to ruin everything, don't you?” Zuko sighs.

“Isn't that why you love me?” Sokka replies with a grin.

Zuko pulls him closer and kisses him on the lips.

“Maybe,” he murmurs with a soft smile.

This is a study of a piece by Leyendecker (under read more along with the text) and inspired by my love of jasmine tea <3. I'm really enjoying Clip Studio and can't wait to see what else I make :)!

Customer: I’d like the jasmine green tea kombucha.

Ozai: Alright.

Customer: And what does that have in it?

Ozai: It’s jasmine tea with ginger.

Customer: Oh, no. I’m allergic to ginger. Please take it out.

Ozai: Alright. I’ll get you that Jasmine green tea.

Customer: No, I wanted the jasmine green tea kombucha.

Ozai: Without ginger, it’s just jasmine green tea. I’m getting you what you want.

Customer: No. You’re getting me the wrong item. I said I wanted jasmine green tea kombucha.

Ozai: Lady, jasmine green tea kombucha without ginger is jasmine green tea and that’s what I’m getting you.

Customer: You’re not listening-

Ozai, walking over to Iroh: You’re it.

Iroh: You shouldn’t-

Ozai: I’m doing you a kindness, Iroh. If I stick around that table I’m going to murder her and that’s probably not good for business.

Iroh: So kind of you Ozai to not murder my customers.
