Jaya: So, what do you think of my apprentice?
Jodah: Chandra? Well, she's somehow as good a pyromancer as you were at her age, while being half as patient and twice as reckless.
Jaya:
Jodah: Which I did not think was possible, but she's still alive, so who am I to say anything?

Jaya Ballard, Task Mage. Mono-red control
Mmmmh, well, of course it'll depend on the win condition, but if you're going for control, I imagine you want to hold up your mana for Jaya or other spells most of the time. Did you know this card can also target abilities?
Now, paying 7 mana with it to deal 3 to each creature and player isn't really good, you can deal 6 already. However, destroying all blue permanents seems funny. Just double check if you have your Painter's Servant out first, and blow out a blue player. More seriously, given that it doesn't have to target your own spells or abilities, this generally finds another use at some point, and more importantly, it has flash, so it can be held up along with Jaya's abilities.
But also you have an Inferno on your commander, and I assume plenty more damaging board wipe if you're controlling in mono-red, so....
How about something that gives you a giant creature whenever you do push that putton? A creature that will survive further damage board wipes, and also provides you with an (expensive) panic button to kill a creature that can be used as a fallback at instant speed while getting you a big creature or growing the one you have?

"Whatcha reading?" Chandra asked.
"Histories," Jaya replied. "Tales, legends. I thumb through them when it feels there's no more good in the world."
"And they remind you of good things that still exist?"
"No, they piss me off until I get up and force good things to exist."

You said you have trouble getting beat down by large non blue creatures in you Jaya Ballard deck? May I make a suggestion:
In a four person commander game this dude gets massive!
Also scuttlemutt and distorting lens are colorless ways to change a creature to blue!
I do run scuttlemutt and distorting lens, but this guy is gonna go the distance I think. Thanks!

Chandra : I am not out of control! I'm a law abiding citizen!
Jaya: Really? Name one law
Chandra : Don't kill people?
Jaya : That's on me. I set the bar too low.

Jaya: Oh, so you are Jodah's kid? Nice to finally meet you!
Adeliz: It is nice to meet you as well. Father talked a lot about you when I was younger.
Jaya: Well, I would hope he did! Did he ever tell you about the time I saved his drugged-up-to-the-eyeballs ass from the multiverse's most pathetic necromancer?
Adeliz: Yes, but I'd love to hear your version.
