honestly I've been a little meh about Boys Be Brave. I don't get what is going on with the main couple that much. The motivations don't make sense to me.

I had always assumed I'd prefer the second couple, but they hadn't really given them much time before these past two episodes. Except this week they came for my throat.

If you have ever struggled with money and had to deal with the embarrassment of not being able to pay in the moment, I'm sure you were as immensely pained with what was happening between Balgeum and In Ho as I was. It's such an acute feeling of shame. It was palpable for me.

I want Balgeum to let In Ho in and finally be allowed to lean on someone. He has to be so tired. Seriously, this could have been a whole show. The emotional beats hit, but it really deserves more. It's hard for me to imagine a resolution that feels satisfying in the short amount of time they will get in the next two episodes with something so deeply painful that Balgeum has struggled with for years now.
