Early life of Gaozu of Liang

With the short biography of his mother, Zhang Shangrou. (From LS01 and LS07)

The Exalted Founder [gaozu], the Martial [wu] August Emperor, taboo Yan, courtesy name Shudai, child name Lian'er, was a native of Zhongdu Village in Nanlanling. He was a descendant of Han's Chancellor of State, He. He begat Marquis Ding of Zan, Yan. Yan begat the Attendant-at-Centre Biao. Biao begat Excellency office staff member Zhang. Zhang begat Hui. Hui begat Yang. Yang begat the Grand Tutor to the Heir-Apparent, Wangzhi. Wangzhi begate the Brilliantly Blessed Grandee Yu. Yu begat the Central Assistant to the Steering Clerk, Shao, Shao begat the Superintendent of the Brilliantly Blessed, Hong. Hong begat the Grand Warden of Jiyin, Chan. Chan begat the Grand Warden of Wu commandery, Bing. Bing begat the Chancellor of Zhongshan, Bao. Bao begat the Broad Scholar Zhou. Zhou begat the Chief of Sheqiu, Jiao. Jiao begat the provincial Assistant Officer, Kui. Kui begot Filial and Upright, Xiu. Xiu begat the Assistant of Guangling Commandery, Bao. Bao begat the Grand Centre Grandee Yi. Yi begat the Prefect of Huaiyin, Zheng. Zheng bgeat the Grand Warden of Jiyin, Xia. Xia begat the provincial Arranger-at-Centre Fuzi. Fuzi begat the Arranger of Documents for the Southern Tower, Daoci. Daoci begat the August Father, taboo Shunzhi, he was Emperor Gao of Qi's younger clansman. He took part in preparations and aiding the mandate, and was ennobled Marquis of Linxiang County. He held successive office as Attendant-at-Centre, Commandant of Guards, Intendant of Affairs to the Heir-Apparent, General who Leads the Army, and Governor of Danyang. He was posthumously conferred General who Quells the North.

Gaozu in Xiaowu of Song's 8th Year of Daming [464 AD], a jiachen year, was born at the Sanqiao Residence, Tongxia Village, Moling County. At birth he was yet remarkable and unusual. His two hips had paired bones, the top of his head was high and raised, and there was a pattern in his right hand which said “martial” [武]. When the Emperor reached adulthood, he studied broadly and very thoroughly, was fond of devising strategies, and had talent and capacity for civil and martial matters. At the time those of flowing fame all pushed him forward and acknowledged him. At the houses where he resided, often if there was a cloud or vapour, for those people who sometimes passed by, their bodies immediately paid their respects.

He started his career as the Acting Army Advisor on the Board of Law of the Central Gentlemen of the South to the King of Baling. He moved to Libationer of the Eastern Pavilion to the General of Guards, Wang Jian [NQS23]. Jian once saw him, and deeply assessed and appreciated his unusualness. He spoke to He Xian of Lujiang, saying:

This Gentleman Xiao within thirty [year] will make Attendant-at-Centre, and if he sets out from here, his worth will be impossible to describe.

When the King of Jingling, Ziliang, opened his Western Mansion and summoned the students of literature, Gaozu together with Shen Yue [LS13], Xie Tiao [NQS47], Wang Rong, Xiao Chen [LS26], Fan Yun [LS13], Ren Fang [LS14], Lu Chui [LS27] and others all roamed with him, they were referred to as the Eight Friends. Rong was exceptional and vivacious, his understanding and perceptiveness exceeded other people. He particularly respected and found unusual Gaozu. Always when speaking of him to his friends, he said:

The steward who will order Under Heaven is surely this person.

He amassed to move to Consultant Army Advisor for Quelling the West to the King of Sui. Soon after he left his post due to the August Father's hardship.

The Changes says:

There was heaven and earth, afterwards there were the ten thousand things. There were the ten thousand things, afterwards there was man and woman. There were man and woman, afterwards there was husband and wife.

The propriety of husband and wife is the highest!

In the Rites of Zhou the King established the Queen's Six Palaces, with three Ladies, nine Concubines, twenty-seven Wives, and eighty-one Spouses, so as to heed Under Heaven's interior arrangements. For that reason the Marriage Propriety states:

The Son of Heaven and the Empress are like the sun and the moon, yin and yang, they are necessary to each other and complete.

Han in the beginning followed Qin's designations and titles. The Emperor's mother was called the August Empress-Dowager, the empress was called the August Empress, and they added to them the categories of Beautiful Lady, Good Lady, Eight Sons, and Seven Sons. Reaching Xiaowu, he regulated the favoured beauties and the likes in altogether fourteen grades. Coming down to Wei and Jin, for the titles of mothers and empresses both followed the Han rules. From Lady and downwards, [each] generations added and subtracted from them.

Gaozu swept away chaos and turned back to correctness. He deeply perceived extravagant and uninhibited, had bad clothes and meagre food, and applied himself to the previous modest frugality. His virtuous pairing ended early, Prolonger of Autumn was an empty position, and to the numbers of concubines and ladies nothing was changed or created. Taizong and Shizu set out from being the heirs-presumptive, yet the Consorts in both cases had passed previously, and they also did not establish pepper quarters. The present compilation only speaks of a provided for vacancy.

The Grand Founder's [taizu] Dedicated [xian] August Empress, Ms. Zhang, taboo Shangrou, was a native of Fangcheng in Fanyang. Her grandfather Cihui was Song's Grand Warden of Puyang. The Empress' mother, Ms. Xiao, was Emperor Wen's paternal aunt. [Emperor Wen is Emperor Wu's father, Xiao Shunzhi, posthumously elevated to emperor]

The Empress in the middle of Song's Yuanjia era [424 – 453] was given in marriage to Emperor Wen. She gave birth to King Xuanwu of Changsha, Yi and King Zhao of Yongyang, and next gave birth to Gaozu.

Earlier, the Empress was once within her room when she suddenly saw sweet-flag grass blooming in front of the courtyard with a brilliant hue shining bright like nothing out of the world. The Empress was startled at the sight, and spoke to her attendant, saying:

Do you see it, or not?

[The attendant] replied, saying:

Do not see it.

The Empress said:

[I] once heard those who see will be rich and honoured.

Following that she quickly took and swallowed it. That month she give birth to Gaozu. At the night she was about to give birth, the Empress saw inside the courtyard as if there were clothes and caps piled up and laid out therein.

She next gave birth to King Xuan of Hengyang, Chang, and Princess Zhao of Yixing, Ling. Song's 7th Year of Taishi [471 AD], she passed at a house in Tongxia Village in Moling County. She was buried at a mountain in Dongcheng Village in Wujin County. 1st Year of Tianjian, 5th Month, jiachen [6 August 502], she was retroactively elevated to the venerated title as August Empress. Her posthumous title was Dedicated [xian].

Li Qian and Qin Yilu

Two of Cao Cao’s most valued lieutenants, of whom sadly not much is known. So I’m putting my own spin on things.

Li Qian of Jiyin first meets Cao Cao when the young prodigy first take sup office in the capital as a Captain of the North Wall Gate. Li Qian serves as his Adjutant and demonstrates a forthright and honourable character which Cao Cao admires greatly. One might be surprised the famously crafty Cao Cao gets on so well with a man of upright morals but Li Qian understands Luoyang very well and knows that it’s no safe place for good-hearted men. While Cao Cao isn’t afraid to play dirty, respect for the law means a great deal to him and in this, the two are united and Li Qian rises beside Cao Cao as a stalwart and much-valued officer. Through Li Qian, another legend is born; that of his nephew, Li Dian.

Qin Yilu has never been a lucky individual and ever since his father, Qin Jie, raked up massive gambling debts with the powerful Cao Song, the boy was a hostage of the Cao family and became a friend of the young, impressionable Cao Aman. As Qin Yilu’s prospects improve beside Cao Cao’s, he uses his one reliable skill, that of being ignored and dismissed by others, to his advantage as he begins serving as Cao Cao’s spy, send into the courts of enemy lords to watch, listen, learn and pass on information. Qin Yilu’s no slouch in military matters either; while his father was a terrible gambler, he was an excellent commander of troops and as a commander of irregular militia, Qin Yilu can be counted on to appear in the most perilous of places, largely ignored by the majority of the enemy, ready to provide support for Cao Cao. One matter that a Cao Cao arranged when the two were young was Qin Yilu’s marriage to another hostage of the Cao family, Miss Du Jiaojun.

Se siete innamorati della tecnologia e dell’estetica non potete non conoscere Apple. E se siete stati nei loro Apple Store sparsi in giro per il mondo sicuramente li saprete riconoscere.

Jiyin, azienda cinese che non conoscevamo, ha preso spunto dal concetto Apple, anzi oserei dire che ha riproposto la stessa idea, sperando che sia vincente.

Tavoli esattamente simili a quelli che trovate in qualsiasi Apple Store, prodotti in bella vista, schermi giganti, scatole bellissime in raccoglitori ancora una volta in perfetto stile Apple. Diciamo che la cosa non passava certo inosservata. Noi ovviamente non possiamo dire se gli oggetti proposti siano o meno di qualità, ma era impossibile non notarli, e di converso non fermarsi.

Forse dalle foto potrebbe non rendere appieno, ma lo stand Jiyin era veramente molto bello, pulito e lineare da vedere. Ed infatti era uno stand pieno di persone.

Tutti i prodotti Jiyin

L’idea di Jiyin, come abbiamo appena scritto, è quella di fornire un ecosistema espandibile e sempre connesso, anche nel mondo dell’acquario.

Intanto diciamo due cifre di questo gruppo che, almeno per me, era sconosciuto. Jiyin ha 3.500.000 clienti, una storia di 3 anni, ed ha 35 dipendenti nel settore Ricerca e Sviluppo. Inoltre è proprietaria di 6 brevetti.

Cominciamo a vedere i loro prodotti.

Smart Socket o Presa intelligente

Parliamo di una presa di corrente multipla, che può essere gestita tramite smartphone, ed associata a qualsiasi task, simile, per capirci, a quello che succede con Aquatronica (recensione) o SaltWaterCloud (articolo). Stiliscamente un bellissimo oggetto, con le prese nella parte inferiore, e con un solo piccolo led superiore che ne indica lo stato.

In questo caso vediamo una multipresa da 6 ingressi. Ovviamente le prese sono in formato cinese, compatibile con quello italiano, ma molto più ingombranti.

Videocamera a 360 gradi

Un altro prodotto interessante è una videocamera di sorveglianza, qui declinata per acquari, che permette la connessione web e che può essere orientata.

Bellissima a vedersi, purtroppo è solo da 720p, anche se con le velocità di connessione che abbiamo, forse non è neanche una idea sbagliata. Certo sarebbe potuta essere almeno fullHD e magari avrebbe potuto gestire in maniera dinamica, ovvero in base alla rete, la velocità di trasmissione dati.

Può essere comandata in tempo reale tramite l’app, possiede la visione infrarossa, continua a lavorare anche senza connessione di rete, ed ovviamente può ruotare di 360 gradi.

I sensori pH, livello, TDS, temperatura e umidità

Sono disponibili diversi sensori da associare al sistema ed alle app. Dal sensore di livello a quello di temperatura in acquario, a temperatura ed umidità ambientali. Poi il sensore pH e TDS. Altri ovviamente ne arriveranno, ma già oggi la disponibilitù è elevata. In base al risultato letto si può impostare una azione con la smart socket. Inoltre il valore può essere letto in tempo reale tramite l’app. In caso di lettura fuori range si può essere avvisati tramite notifica.

I ricaldatori

Jiyin ha anche presentato una serie di riscaldatori connessi.

I tagli sono da 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 1500 e 2000 watt. In pratica per tutti i gusti. Ogni riscaldatore ha la sua sonda di temperatura, e può essere monitorato e utilizzato in remoto. Ogni prodotto di Jiyin infatti non ha la necessità di aver la smart socket per funzionare, con essa si possono fare più cose, ma non è obbligatoria. Ogni dispositivo funziona sempre in modalità stand-alone.

Se il riscaldatore non percepisce la presenza dell’acqua si spegne, non rischiando così la rottura.

Smart Control Spectrum ovvero le plafoniere

Stesso concetto anche per le lampade proposte da Jiyin.

Le lampade sono in pratica delle barre led che possono essere comandate tramite la solita app Jiyin. Non abbiamo purtroppo al momento le specifiche tecniche dei led però.

Areatori per acquario

In questo caso l’areatore è un “semplice” areatore. Non è connesso, non da input od output. Si limita a funzionare, e, secondo Jiyin lo fa in maniera estremamente silenziosa. Purtroppo la cosa non è verificabile in un ambiente così rumoroso come una fiera.

I modelli sono due, da 10 e 16 watt, proposti in diverse colorazioni.

Mangiatoie automatiche

In catalogo ci sono anche le mangiatoie automatiche. Non sono connesse, ma sono automatiche.

What can you teach us about Wei Ji and Wei Fang?

There isn’t much to say about Wei Feng. Wei Ji is another matter.

Wei Feng was from Pei (or Jiyin). He was known for his intelligence and was hired by Zhong Yao as a senior aide to Cao Cao. However, in 219, he formed a plot to seize control of Ye. One of their conspirators revealed the plans, so Cao Pi arrested and executed Wei Feng and many others. Cao Cao blamed Zhong Yao for hiring him and fired Zhong Yao, although Cao Pi reappointed him almost immediately after taking over.

Wei Ji was from Hedong and was known for his scholarly talents even as a child. he was an expert in calligraphy and wrote an influential treatise on it. Cao Cao first made Wei Ji a staff officer, then a magistrate in Youfufeng. By 199, he had been appointed to the Secretariat.

As Cao Cao was preparing to fight Yuan Shao in 199, he worried about Liu Biao attacking his rear. He sent Wei Ji as an envoy to Liu Zhang in order to secure southern aid against Lu Biao. However, when he reached Chang’an, he found the road blocked and could not proceed.

In the previous years, many refugees from around Chang’an fled to Jing. Now that Cao Cao had restored order, they wanted to return. Wei Ji sent a message to Xun Yu and proposed plans to revitalize Chang’an’s economy so that people could return.

In 211, Cao Cao made plans to conquer the Liang warlords. Wei Ji suggested that they could simply be bought out, although Cao Cao chose to conduct a military campaign instead. While the campaign was extremely successful, afterwards Cao Cao regretted not taking Wei Ji’s advice since it was always better to win without battle.When Cao Cao beame duke, Wei Ji became one of his chamberlains and was tasked with reviewing matters of administration. Under Cao Pi, Wang Ji was largely responsible for writing the edicts by which Emperor Xian ceded power. Wei Ji then became a member of Wei’s secretariat and was enfeoffed. He continued to serve as a trusted adviser, and was noted for his spending and legal reforms.

Wei Ji lived to an old age and left behind a massive body of scholarly work.

Depois de lançar uma campainha e até mesmo um aquecedor inteligente, a Xiaomi anunciou uma nova edição da sua impressora móvel para fotos. Segundo a companhia, o dispositivo deve ser um grande aliado de quem procura agilidade e praticidade para criar álbuns completos.

Conhecida como Jiyin Gramophone Photo Printer, a nova impressora da chinesa adota uma tecnologia que permite salvar os registros na nuvem. Além disso, o usuário também pode escanear imagens para que elas possam ser compartilhadas digitalmente.
