Underseen Movie: 'Premium Rush' Lives Up to Its Name
Underseen Movie: ‘Premium Rush’ Lives Up to Its Name
WRITER’S NOTE: This review was written back in 2012. David Koepp’s “Premium Rush” is the best cycling movie in some time. Come to think of it, when was the last time a cycling movie was made and released? I keep thinking it was Hal Needham’s “Rad,” but that came out in 1986. There’s also no topping the classic “Breaking Away,” the cycling movie many aspire to be like. There was also “American…

One thing that I will always be desperately sad about is the relationships that Baby William never got to have with not only Mulder and Scully, but other people in his life—particularly his actual half-uncle, Jeffrey Spender, and his pseudo-uncles, The Lone Gunmen.
While Jeffrey’s attempts to get close to William are ultimately to the end of “stealing him away” from CSM and making him normal, I still believe that Jeffrey cared enough for his half-brother’s child to not want him to live a life in danger and potentially be subjected to experiments as he was. If Mulder and Scully had gone into hiding with William, would Spender have still dropped by to visit? What would his relationship with his half-nephew be like?
Meanwhile, the Gunmen purely care about William because he’s the child of two of their close friends. They understand from the beginning how special he is, and are the only three people we see who show up after his birth bearing gifts. They are also the last line of defense in protecting William when he is threatened by the alien cult, with Scully specifically telling Monica Reyes that she is giving William to the “only ones left we can trust”. Whether or not they would have been wholly competent babysitters is debatable, but their care and concern for William is there, and it’s a shame we didn’t get to see them interact with William more. One can easily imagine Byers reading the baby back issues of the Lone Gunman to get him to fall asleep, Frohike teaching him to say curse words as a toddler, and Langly not being mad when the baby messes with his hair.
Anyway, we got robbed of Baby William actually knowing his uncles and I will forever be furious about it.

4) Matthew Applewhite

ASK ANSWERED
First thanks you for asking me this question. I've sended you questions about Desperate Housewives, but I know this TV series better than you. I say it because I saw the TV series, so my answer will not be based on the characters's looks.
Even though you picked the young men and the husband / fathers, si they have a thing is common which is their youth.
JOHN ROWLAND is not my type of man, he is too beautiful, he wouldn't even like me as his fart cushion. I mean, maybe I would, but I am not sure he would enjoy that to be honest
AUSTIN MCCANN is the most handsome amongst them but he is the kind on man who will laugh at me but be quickly bored. I would like to be sitted on by him, but only if he likes me, it's not really exciting otherwise.
Plus, I wrote a story about him being my boyfriend, so if your question is imagining myself as his farts slave, the answer is no
MATTHEW APPLEWHITE looks like he would enjoy to sit on a fragile whiteboy like me so that could have been my answer too.
But my favorite is ANDREW VAN DE Kamp, my favorite character of this TV series. He is a gay alpha who is also someone dominant and likes to do jokes so he probably fart a lot and his ass seems so comfy. I'm sure he will be less stressed if he can fart on someone. And also he can be gross so he will enjoy that
So my answer is : be Andrew's farts cushion.

John: Mrs. Van De Kamp.
Bree: Hello, John. I'm sorry to drop by on you, unannounced. Do you have a moment?
John: Sure. So, what can I do for you?
Bree: Well, I'll tell you. My daughter is planning on giving you her virginity and I would consider it a personal favor if you wouldn't take it.

On the 78th Anniversary of the Trinity Bomb Test
Sunday’s “Interfaith Remembrance of the Trinity Test” held at the Santa Maria de la Paz Community Hall in Santa Fe commemorated the July 16, 1945 explosion of the Trinity atom bomb in the Tularosa Basin, this country’s first step in its march towards nuclear proliferation and the establishment of New Mexico as a “nuclear colony.” It was an interesting mix of faith-based groups—Catholic,…

“Of all the animosities which have existed among mankind, those which are caused by a difference of sentiments in religion appear to be the most inveterate and distressing, and ought to be deprecated. I was in hopes that the enlightened and liberal policy, which has marked the present age, would at least have reconciled Christians of every denomination so far that we should never again see the religious disputes carried to such a pitch as to endanger the peace of society.”
George Washington — letter to Edward Newenham, October 20, 1792
“History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes.”
Thomas Jefferson — in letter to Alexander von Humboldt, December 6, 1813
“The civil government functions with complete success by the total separation of the Church from the State.”
Founding Father James Madison, 1819, Writings, 8:432, quoted from Gene Garman, Essays In Addition to America’s Real Religion?
“And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”
James Madison — letter to Edward Livingston, July 10, 1822
“Every new and successful example of a perfect separation between ecclesiastical and civil matters is of importance.”
James Madison — letter, 1822
“When a religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not take care to support it so that its professors are obligated to call for help of the civil power, it’s a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one.”
Benjamin Franklin, letter to Richard Price, October 9, 1780
“As I understand the Christian religion, it was, and is, a revelation. But how has it happened that millions of fables, tales, legends, have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed?”
John Adams — letter to F.A. Van der Kamp, Dec. 27, 1816
“What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wish to subvert the public liberty may have found an established clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them not.”
James Madison — “A Memorial and Remonstrance”, 1785
“Congress has no power to make any religious establishments.”
Roger Sherman, Congress, August 19, 1789
“We have abundant reason to rejoice that in this Land the light of truth and reason has triumphed over the power of bigotry and superstition. In this enlightened Age and in this Land of equal liberty it is our boast, that a man’s religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the Laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest Offices that are known in the United States.”
George Washington — letter to the members of the New Church in Baltimore, January 27, 1793
This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it.”
John Adams
“Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.”
Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814
“Ecclesiastical establishments tend to great ignorance and corruption, all of which facilitate the execution of mischievous projects.”
James Madison
“The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries.”
James Madison — 1803 letter objecting use of gov. land for churches
”I am for freedom of religion and against all maneuvers to bring about a legal ascendancy of one sect over another.”
Founding Father Thomas Jefferson — letter to Elbridge Gerry, January 26, 1799
“Of all the tyrannies that affect mankind, tyranny in religion is the worst.”
Thomas Paine
“I wish it (Christianity) were more productive of good works … I mean real good works … not holy-day keeping, sermon-hearing … or making long prayers, filled with flatteries and compliments despised by wise men, and much less capable of pleasing the Deity.”
Benjamin Franklin — Works, Vol. VII, p. 75
