Last evening we had the immense privilege and pleasure of hearing one of my musical heroes and his primary group play in the magnificent acoustics of the Coolidge. Their program of early baroque music had the audience enraptured and wishing for more!

Catalan/Spanish conductor, composer and viol player Jordi Savall (born 1941). Photographer Lionel Bonaventure in 2013. He started recording in 1975, and in 1990 signed EMI Classics. He has more than 200 recordings to his name with over 150 of those recordings now on his own Alia Vox label, started in 1998.
