Totally F1-unrelated ramble but JOSH HARTNETT the man that you are 😭.

He’s my one true early 2000s heartthrob obsession like you guys don’t understand the hold this man has on me, I’ve watched almost every single one of his movies multiple times since I discovered him last summer and he’s just so so so talented and I admire him so gd much as a human being and as a fellow artist.

Like there are so few actors these days that are as genuine and dedicated to the artistry of film making and haven’t been swallowed up by fame and franchises and I think he’s just such a breathe of fresh air. He lives in Hampshire with his wife and four kids on a farm, they have dogs guinea pigs and Pygmy goats which he says “are like dogs” I fucking love him, he’s a PAINTER in his free time it was apparently his first love(a man after my own heart fr), and he’s on a marriage visa so he can only go to the U.S. for work for 180 days a year, which compared to how much most actors work is nothing(basically one movie and a couple small side projects like his feature in season 5 of the Bear). Like he’s a devoted dad and husband and well rounded person. He fucking campaigned for Obama and has met Biden multiple times(I’m just so relieved he wasn’t secretly a bigoted asshole). Here’s the article I just got all of this pure gold from if anyone wants to read it cuz it’s delightful.
