#Kamado's are the best characters but also the most exhausting characters to be around

Guys....guys...about the Kamados...
Also spoilers!
Just finished reading this damn sobfest manga and a question here, specifically about the dad,
as in are we sure Tanjuro, the Kamado patriarch, didn't die because he overtaxed himself with the Sun Breathing?
We sure he didn't die because of the demon slayer mark or something?
Like it's never specified what age he was when he died but he seemed young if ill and the Kamado's wouldn't know that they are essentially performing superhuman and really taxing feats, yeah?
Like Tanjiro specified his father had the same damn mark he himself is developing and Hinokami Kagura is essentially just Sun Breathing for dummies so...?
I mean the official reason for the death of the Kamado patriarch is basically an unspecified illness and I am totally ready to accept that too!
Don't get me wrong this story is tear jerking enough without the implications of the blessing of inhuman strength also basically being a curse for everyone involved.
But yeah this thought won't leave me alone and since I am sick right now and possibly delirious if this post makes no sense I apologize.
But really, realistically Kamado's wouldn't know what the damn breathing is and anyone else would have just called a random wasting sickness.
At the same time, they did live on a mountain so maybe the dad just caught pneumonia or something?
But like he was wrestling bears at one point and dancing the Hinokami for hours apparently, and Tanjiro describes that as actual debilitating pain and a stamina and strength sapping effort of only pulling one of the forms, imagine dancing it consecutively for hours?
Man no wonder Tanjiro just seems to be so good at this too!
He had the most difficult form of breathing as a yearly tradition!
No but really this damn breathing form and breathing in general was dropping people left and right and most of the Hashiras got their mark in the end but imagine being a normal man and pulling this superhuman bullshit as a yearly tradition that lasts hours?
Damn the entire Kamado family is something else.
It also gives credence to that whole adage about no hero ever had a happy life but thankfully we had the power of friendship on our side.
In other words Kamado's are crazy but that's nothing new.
On the side note, apparently the realest and smartest person here is evidently Tengen.
Man came there,saw,conquered and dipped.
No but really how pissed of would you be if you basically killed this world's version of basically Satan and then the very thing that gave you the strength to do it,kills you?
It's probably nothing and I hope it was just some random illness or something but jeez the coincidence and implications are not giving me any joy.

Let's Make National MC Appreciation Day!
Today is the day that we celebrate every single MC, faceless or not, from every video game, TV show, or movie.
Warning: Contains spoilers for the following movies, games and TV shows- Obey Me, Twisted Wonderland, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia.
My honorary selection includes:
MC from Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All! 🐏
Tumblr media
This poor, poor thing. I know this is an otome game, but honestly, with all the lore and characters we're given, I see this as more than just an otome game (plus it's MY list).
So, we've been sent down to Hell, or in this case, the layer right above Hell; called the Devildom, to stay as an exchange student, or as I like to call us, "the resident therapist." For our protection, we live with the Seven Avatars of Sin and discover all the hidden secrets this world has to offer.
For all the MC has gone through over the last 2 years they've lived down there, I'm convinced that they are immortal. Having to stay in an unknown place with strangers who initially act like jerks, a select handful of said jerks wanting to kill them, one of them successfully killing them, and having to restore the familial bonds of a broken family? God tier, I don't care what anyone says.
Yuu/MC/Yuuken from Disney's Twisted Wonderland ✨️
Tumblr media
It's like whenever Japan sees anything they think: "Yes that, but make it anime boys."
Again, a regular person in a strange land, Yuu finds themselves in the magical school known as Night Raven College, or NRC. (Also, do NOT be fooled by the COLLEGE part in the name, most of the characters aside from a few are 16).
Anyway, after many shenanigans involving our new friends, or as the fandom has dubbed them, the "Braincell Trio," we help the villain-inspired dorm leaders through their trauma by fighting them in a rhythm game.
I feel like "resident therapist" is an accurate title for most games like this, honestly. Overall, I'm willing to bet that Yuu is exhausted, stressed, and practically done with life at this point for having to pretty much babysit their friends, fight almost all the dorm leaders, clean and restore their entire dorm that has been abandoned for a 100 years, and being bribed/threatened to help around the school since Principal Broke Bird is too "gracious" to help.
What else is there to say? I respect you Yuu, and may Chernabog give you strength.
Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer 🔥
Tumblr media
Not only did he lose almost his entire family (and saw the aftermath of it btw) to monstrous demons, the one family member he has left has been turned into a demon herself.
Yet this dude remains one of the most dedicated, fearless, and happy-go-lucky protagonists I've ever seen. I wish you nothing but the best Tanjiro! Lord knows you deserve it.
Izuku Midoriya/Deku from My Hero Academia ⚡️
Tumblr media
Look I don't care what anyone says, this boy deserves everything!
In a world where 80% of people have quirks, Izuku was born without one. But that doesn't stop him from wanting to becoming the greatest hero someday. After gaining powers from the #1 hero All might, Deku joins his new-found friends at U.A. High School in training to becoming great heroes.
First of all, ow... Being born in a world where everyone is special, and you're not, just criminy... that is soul crushing.
On a similar wavelength with Tanjiro, as he's equally as optimistic and determined, Deku is observant, intelligent, bashful, and wears his heart on his sleeve.
Despite the fact that he's seen...horrible, horrible things and is potentially among the thousands of students who are being trained as child soldiers, Deku remains that hopeful, persevering kid we all know and love.
Someone pray for all these kids, they've seen far too much.
Mirabel from Encanto 🦋
Tumblr media
Yeah, yeah, I know, this movie has been talked to death, but you know what, I don't care!
Last but certainly not least, is Mirabel Madrigal!
The Madrigal's are a Colombian family living in a village called the Encanto. All of the Madrigal's were blessed with magical blessings known as "gifts," all except for Mirabel, who is ostracized by her own family for not being special.
Again, ouch. Not being special in a magical world is quite common for these protags, isn't it?
Despite that, she's silly, dependable, vibrant, and very proud of her family's accomplishments even if she's not as revered in the eyes of the villagers. When she discovers that the magic is in danger, she doesn't waste a second in trying to figure out what's going on and how she can help her family.
I love how crafty she is, the artist in me loves her designed dress and how each embroidery represents a member of her family.
Point is, I love her and just like the rest on this list, I respect and admire the fact that she kept going when almost everyone in her shoes would have given up by then.
And that's everyone on this list, currently. I have a lot of protagonists that honestly boggle my mind for how they haven't gone insane with how many crazy adventures and people that have to deal with on a regular basis.
So, do any of you guys have any MC's that you love or appreciate? Please let me know! I'm genuinely curious.
With that all being said, I hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you later! Byeee! 💗
