Mitsuru Sano

A bit confused that you're hiding your face under a medical mask, but does not say anything.

After all, if you want, you will tell him.

Upon accidentally seeing your face, he's taken aback.

Don't get it wrong, he doesn't think you're ugly. He just didn't expect it.

During kisses, Mitsuru tries to pay attention to your scars, making it clear that your appearance does not matter to him.

Jun might joke that you're hiding your face because you're secretly an assassin sent to kill him and you don't want him to be able to identify you if he survives.

If someone tries to say something about your appearance, he'll get nasty and make them shut up.

Shinji Kido

Realizes pretty quickly that you do not want to show your face and does not touch on this topic.

Mentally wonders about your reasons, but decides that if he does not ask you questions, then nothing bad will happen.

Seeing your smile, understands why you hid your face.

Tries to cheer you up every time he sees you upset.

Says you're beautiful even with scars.

If someone dares to offend your appearance, Shinji will begin to indignantly explain why they're wrong.

Takeshi Asakura

Doesn't give a damn about your appearance.

Therefore, your tendency to hide your face behind a mask will not cause him any questions.

He reacts quite calmly to your smile. The maximum that can be achieved from him is a simple shrug.

However, he still asks who did it. If this was done by another person, he will definitely kill them and feed the corpse to Venosnaker.

If someone decides to laugh at your face, Takeshi will cut out a similar smile on their face, making it clear that if this happens again, he will kill without hesitation.

Ren Akiyama

Doesn't quite understand why you're hiding your face, but doesn't talk about it

Believes that if anything, you yourself can tell him.

Seeing your smile, Ren understands that you were afraid of condemnation from his side.

Responds to other people's comments in your address with an offer to go fuck themselves.

If Ren sees that you're upset, he immediately begins to calm and cheer you up.

Kamen Rider Ryuki AU Preview

One of my many Kamen Rider fanfics is a AU/Retelling of the series with some alterations. And by ryuki I mean also including aspects from episode final, 13 riders etc. One of the biggest alterations I want to include is having Kamen Rider Femme as a proper character and inclusion in the story and not just have her be a movie only aspect. Also on the subject of Kamen Rider names- Imperer is, like, a fantastic three-way-pun in English (impala + impaler + emperor). I’ve been curious for a while if that happened as the result of localization, or if the name was picked from the get-go with the English pun as the intended referent? Does anyone with more insight into the franchise have an idea on this?

oh rip... Scissors Stocks must be up this week because my last Mandarake run had one sell out before my order could be finished. I managed to get a different one though, and an Imperer and tiny Tajador.

Mandarake's my favorite site to shop from... international shipping can be a little high ($30-$50) so I never buy from them unless I'm getting a bunch of stuff, but there's so much merch on there for stupid cheap, I found all of Dragon Knight on there lol

though i do wonder if the idea takahashi is going for with all this keiwa nonsense is that. like kekera he also has never really understood what a "kamen rider" is? and so genuinely couldn’t give a big hero speech about what the title really means.

even when he was fighting for a purely good cause his wish has always just been a band-aid for the actual problem: that the dgp itself shouldn't exist. you can save & help people as much as you like, and it's a moral imperative to do so if you can, surely, but as long as the system that hurt them is still in place they will probably just get hurt again later.

by that reasoning the only one who's been something approximating a "real" kamen rider from the jump is michinaga, who has always sought to knock the legs out from under the dgp. his pursuit of that put him on the villains' side for a long stretch of the show.

now, he and keiwa have switched places. but becoming a villain looks a lot different for someone who simply never came to the correct "kamen ridery" realization about what needs to be done with the dgp.

Well been a bit

Been trying to get a concept out but dont quite like my results were what i wanted, still i kinda feel like i have to post it just to not be remaking it everyday for a week untill i like it lol

Sooo yeah, due to me finishing ryuki i thought, hey what other series do humans make contract with monsters and i came up with

Persona fused with kamen rider ryuki (at least the protagonist of the games)

So this is protagonist of persona 1 (with the most similar to his starting persona), so im gonna expand a bit on it

Soooo, his first persona in the novels is Seimen Kongou, so taking a bit of ouja inspirstion i made so he would have two contract monsters

His first being a sortha cystal butterfly emperor, this becuase of his arcana of emperor (hence what i imagine he would be called something like kamen rider emperor) and the motive of butterflies in the newer artwork, plus i wanted to reference the provienet mask, so that inspire his helmet

While im not sold on the cristal theme, i think making him a butterfly rider with two monsters (a butterfly nd a monkey) can lead to a fun convination of abilities

Like for example the butterfly monster would give him the freeze vento (like kamen rider tiger) while giving him a one handed crystal sword, while the monkeys would form into his submachine gun and give him some trick cards (maybe something to disable sound and visicion), and you could have two different final vents, one where the buterfly turns into a weapon of some kind and another where the monkeys could be called to attack (like kamen rider imperer)

Again tho with that said im not quite sold with this desing... maybe i will try to revist this some other time
