Sansa and Tyrion end up together multiverse part 1

So today I'm in an angsty mood because how dare my ships not end up together and where is the justice for Sansa and Tyrion because they could have had it all and they were done so dirty. Anyway in case I forget about it after I go to sleep I wanna do either a photo set or a bunch of vignettes inspired in this Quote by Gaby Dunn:

You just found me in the wrong universe. That’s all. This is, as they say, the darkest timeline. Everywhere else, nay, “everywhen” else — us in the Civil War, us in Ancient Egypt, us in the swinging ’60s — we are happy....If you’re sad, do like I do and just think of the other ‘verses. And it would just be Sansa and Tyrion in a bunch of multiverse scenarios where they do end up together so here is part 1.

-The one where Sansa and Tyrion are two strangers having a one night stand before a destination wedding in the Bahamas and then they find out they're a bridesmaid and groomsmen for Jon and Danny. It's a hilarious wedding filled with misadventures, they end up back in bed a bunch of times, until they're caught by the bride and groom making out and they have to be dragged into performing their wedding party duties. Tyrion catches the bouquet, Sansa gives a terribly cringy speech about love and romance. Once it's all over Sansa and Tyrion realize life is too short to worry about what ifs and decide to start a life of traveling the world together.

-the one where Sansa is a pro tennis player and Tyrion is a sports reporter and they just click after one too many press conferences

The one where Sansa is an assassin tasked with killing the Lannister black sheep son but ends up liking him instead, and he likes her so much he turns himself into an informant for the FBI once they offer him the chance to erase her criminal records so they can be together in witness protection. ( I like to think that in this universe Sansa and Tyrion have the pleasure of killing Tywin as a couple)

The universe in which they are broke roommates making ends meet! Because Tyrion got himself disinherited and Sansa's father is in jail for fake charges, and there's a this shoebox apartment they can afford pooling their respective funds. He watches her date and she watches him date until at one point they realize the reason none of their relationships ever work out is because the perfect companion has always been at home, waiting with open arms.

The WW2 war universe where Sansa is an army nurse and Tyrion is a assistant for his Sergeant father stationed in the camp Sansa is assigned to. They get caught up in the war and fall inlove despite the hardship but ultimately they're separated when their station is evacuated but they promise to meet again in London when the war ends. After many hardships. They're reunited after the fall of Hitler and set off to start a family together.

The universe in which Tyrion is an old school Rock Star and Sansa is a Pop Singer who writes her own music and their fans absolutely hate them together. But they take Hollywood by storm and have a torrid highly publicized romance which crashes and burns, ( but not really because they're secretly still together and have been for years. And they just want the press to stay out of their relationship)

The obligatory Christmas universe where Sansa is a top executive who gets called back to her small town of Winterfell for Christmas. And then there's Tyrion the jolly coffee shop owner who teaches her that there's more to Christmas than just consumerism and sadness. Later he reveals his tragic backstory as a burned out fortune 500 VP, who decided to follow his dream of living in a small town and opening his own coffee shop. They both skate, meet mall Santa Claus, pick out a Christmas tree and fall inlove under the magic of the mistletoe. I just know they probably bought a Christmas tree farm and are running it together.

Roaring 20's universe where Tyrion runs a speakeasy and Sansa is the flapper girlfriend of his nephew, who breaks up with Joff the first time he tries bullying her. So Tyrion gives her a special pass in his establishment and they become friends. They both like to gossip about his patrons and find ways to keep the party going during the prohibition. Eventually she moves her stuff into his room upstairs and just leaves them there, he takes it to mean they're an item and lets her do whatever she wants, which she takes to mean he's her man now. After the prohibition ends they turn his place into a bar and decide to settle down and become semi respectable members of society, Tyrion drinks, Sansa dances, and they're happy together. ( The grandkids still hear the wildest stories about their youth)

I'll add a part 2 or 3 later, I'm going to sleep now. If they're Sanrion stans still out there, shoot me a message in my inbox about which other universes Sansa and Tyrion do end up together.

The language of their sex was strange and coded, spoken around workshop benches and in changing rooms.  Love was never mentioned, touches were brief and purposeful.  Bonds were often proximistic or loosely transactional in their foundations – who had a trailer that could be borrowed, an electric hedge trimmer, a car ramp, an extending ladder. This was what Royce understood, what he had seen play out a hundred times on the silver screen.

It was easier for him when there was no need to speak, when he was out of Wesley’s line of sight.  Hidden beneath a tent of flannel fabric, Royce mantled his companion’s supine form, kissing that expanse of skin, feeling the way his belly tightened at the touch of lips.  No womanly swells here, no narrow slip of a waist blooming into rounded hips.  Wesley was straight lines and sinew – and he was beautiful.

Royce knew this without seeing, dimensions mapped by his mouth and trailing, exploratory fingertips.  Eyes closed, hidden though he was. As if self-imposed dark would save him from the sin he imagined must have damned him.  Being blinkered did not mean he was not curious, that he did not wonder what expression Wes wore on his face. Somewhere beyond his closed lids, somewhere on the other side of that flannel divide.  

It wasn’t until he felt the warm callus of careful fingers dipping beneath his t-shirt, pressing encouragement into his shoulders, that Royce dared to look.  He found himself in a safe and holy place, drenched in the resinous scent of cedar and fresh sweat.  Death had robbed them of the amber touch of sunlight, and so the illumination filtered through to him was artificial and flickering. His next thought was of peeling away their shirts so they could lie belly to belly, to work on each other’s mouths in the way dogs nursed wounds – all tongues and teeth.

Except –

His focus narrowed on what he first mistook to be the mottling of early decay, the pooling of newly stagnant blood.  A reminder that they were both dead and buried, their mould-eaten bones half a world apart.  Tracing the edges of the splotches, Royce began to understand their shape and significance.  Bruising in violent shades, in multiple places, each mapping the strike of a boot.

Royce sat up suddenly, sliding out from under Wes’ shirt.  Dark hair was ruffled, displaced from its slick-back style, the winter of his eyes etched with concern, burning in anticipation of the answer.

“Wes… what the hell happened? Who did this to you?”

The grass housing the Kamikaze's remains could hardly be called romantic, if Wesley even had a concept of such a thing — but it was a good place to be alone in the quiet, which was why he sometimes lingered there in those few dwindling hours before morning. The ride hardly saw any visitors beyond the one doomed to wake each night tangled in its clutches; at least, not until Royce started seeking him out like this. With the hot-rodder's persistence, moments of solitude had slipped to new conversations, to uncertain touches, to stolen minutes away from prying eyes. Still, none of them were ever as bold as this.

There was no need for a heart to go on beating long after it had been buried, but Wesley felt the worn muscle tripping over itself to meet each curious touch, surging new life against his ribs like the time was never lost to earthly decay. The rest of him burned sweetly, too, under Royce's attention: breath stuttering with each kiss pressed to hidden skin, intimate and vulnerable, his cheeks flushed hot with a blush that would never again see the light of day. Royce's wandering hands spoke reverence to a body so long neglected and abused that it nearly trembled, if Wesley would allow himself the impulse. He had not known that touch could be like this.

It made him ache, staring unseen at the shroud of faded flannel and longing to reach for the man beneath it. His hands twitched in the grass, uncertainty at war with foreign want, hesitating for an agonizing beat until a kiss gave him the courage to cross that boundary; even still, he was cautious in his movements, fingers slipping just beyond Royce's collar to press at the muscle beneath.

He wanted to pull Royce closer. He wanted to hold and be held, but he was too afraid of doing something wrong, terrified of ruining it, that maybe his gentle touch would give way to more bruises. What he should have been worried about was hiding the ones he already had; instead, he let himself get caught up in the moment, hoping it'd be too dark to see anything ugly under his clothes.

What a stupid thing to think.

The moment those wandering touches began to focus, Wesley let Royce go, already anticipating what was about to happen; feather-light caress reduced to nothing in a matter of moments, affection perverted to the disgust he'd probably deserved all along. He felt a chill creep into the space left behind, turning everything Royce had touched to unfeeling ice — except for the angry marks on ribs, which burned with the memory of his last punishment. Most of the time, they didn’t bother him anymore, but even the oldest of aches blister when held up to the light.

He had to turn away from the intensity of Royce's gaze, twisting until he had withdrawn completely. No weight left above him but the dread sitting on his chest, Wesley found himself adrift in the absence; being questioned felt like a kick in the stomach, anxiety clawing through the husk shame had made of him.

"It doesn't matter," he muttered, pressing his tongue against a rotting molar and reminding himself to breathe. Somewhere in the back of a cemetery, the rest of him was decaying, too; he hoped his skin had fallen away completely, so that some version of him existed without his father. "They’re old. It happened before I got here."

I love the parts where it skips a beat in this song (google tells me this is called a retard but I didn't know that before, it just sounds like it skips a beat) My stepgrandfather, who survived a kamikaze bombing in world war II and died of covid in a nursing home at age 99, loved this song so much. His birthday was christmas eve.

0-Sen Hayato - Volume 3

It feels like it took me a whole year to get through this one lol. It's boring, but not the worst thing I've ever read. Sometimes something spicy will happen (like someone dying or the romance side plot inches forward) and that's enough to keep me going.

Ch. 23

-In this chapter the gang tries to blow off some steam by goofing off and dancing (and getting drunk) but then their superior's superior comes in and chews them out. Hayato and Ishikawa get exiled (?) and sent to the jungle where they run into "a ghost." Meanwhile, the Americans plot their attack.

Ch. 24

-Hayato and Ishikawa find Ishiki in the woods wounded and bring him back to camp despite being exiled. Ishiki warns them about the encroaching enemy and then we cut to some sort of D-Day-esque scenario on the beach. The squad isn't allowed to participate in the battle because their territory is the skies, so they just watch on.

Ch. 25

-The boys continue to scramble to kill themselves for their country and for glory...this is seriously the least relatable thing I've ever read lol

-I don't really get how war works. If the air force can just attack the people on the ground, why didn't they just always do that? Lack of resources maybe? It kinda seems like an OP tactic...

Ch. 26

-This chapter was WILD. Hayato convinces the gang to kill a bunch of monitor lizards and dump their blood in the ocean. Then when the bad guys (Americans probably) attempted to storm the beach a bunch of sharks gathered and ate them all. That's wacky enough, but then they said that 10,000 soldiers were eaten!? Wtf...not possible. (I googled this and apparently there was a WWII incident where an American ship sank and 890 people were left in shark infested waters, probably the closest thing irl to this manga's ridiculousness).

-This manga has an anti-kamikaze stance, but it also shows its heroes as constantly ready and eager to die for Japan so...mixed signals.

Ch. 27

-I kinda liked this one, at least we got to meet Ishiki's sister (now a nurse). Of course everyone instantly has a crush on her because they're women-starved

-Wtf was up with the "muu" grass? It was strangely magical, like a tentacle monster? I guess since the last chapter jumped the shark (hehe) they feel like they can get away with this magical realism BS.

-Ishiki is WAY too committed to his rival bit. Someone needs to smack some common sense into him before he gets himself killed for real.

Ch. 28

-Ishiki continues to act recklessly, but I guess he's just getting away with it for now? Not sure if he just figured out how to compensate for his bad eye or if he got lucky and something bad will happen in the future...

-I think Hayato's dad just died? Hard for me to tell cuz all middle aged men look identical to me. Hayato did say "I sense a disturbance in the force" (paraphrasing). So I'm probably right. That seems like a pretty major character death for this series so I was a little taken aback!

Ch. 29

-Okay phew, I got it right. In this chapter Hayato finds out about his father's death and inherits his plane and katana. I thought the emotion of it all was handled pretty well without going into any melodrama. Since soldiers sign up knowing they might die (especially Japanese soldiers in WII) they'll probably react more stoically to that kind of news.

-We find out that it was the King Satan airplane that shot down Hayato's dad, because of course it was. Gotta give more fuel to the silly rivals plot. Ishiki acts like a douchebag again and is like "sorry about your dad, but I'm gonna make this about ME" lol. At least I can laugh at how cartoonishly shitty he is.

Ch. 30

-Hayato tries to figure out how to operate his Dad's plane which is "different from other Zero airplanes" (or whatever you call those in English). I didn't really get what he was saying about it, but I figured I probably wouldn't get it in English either so it's fine lol

-We get to see the nurse girls again which is always nice. The chubby one with braids is adorable. Of course they made each girl have a crush on their male counterpart (chubby girl likes chubby guy, skinny girl with a hooked nose likes the dude with a hooked nose, etc.) Whatever, there's so little body diversity in anime girls nowadays that seeing this lil bit of variety is refreshing.

Ch. 31

-The Bakufuutai's rival squad (the Shiuntai) get 35 new pilots but they are very inexperienced (only 150 hours of flight training). The Bakufuutai tries to be good senpai and stop them from flying recklessly, but the Shiuntai's leader is being a jerk as usual and tells them they can't tell his squad what to do. I should probably learn that guy's name lol.

-The hairy dude with big lips gets his own big lipped girl who's in love with him. Unfortunately they used this as an opportunity to make her "ugliness" a joke. Hey! If dudes are allowed to look funky girls should be allowed too >:/

Ch. 32

-This chapter was far too dialogue heavy and I barely followed what was happening. All I got was that Hayato and Ishiki were begging their leaders to not send the newbies off on a mission and then Hayato and friends end up being sent off to Manila for some reason. The nurse love interest creepily talks about being prepared to die a bunch...

vi. Backstory

Kassidy and her siblings were practiced raised by their grandparents. Their mother and father were either working or across the sea in Ireland. Despite this, Kassidy was close with her mother, constantly writing letters back and forth. When she was thirteen, Kassidy moved and lived in Ireland for nearly five years until returning to the USA in '39. Kassidy's parents believed she and her sister be safer in the States when WW2 broke out, despite Ireland being a neutral country.

When Kassidy had even a minute of free time, she found herself on a makeshift tennis court. It was her father that taught her how to play, and when she enlisted herself into the Marine Corps as a nurse, she taught her Company the art of the game.

She trained and fought with H Company until being transferred to K Company. This was done on the orders by Andrew Haldane after Lew went missing. Andrew thought the change in companions would do the girl some good until they hopefully found Chuckler. This was when Kassidy became close friends with R.V.

Trump's Shooter's Father Sentenced, Goodbye Forever This Court Investigation youtube feature of Trump's Shooter Father Sentenced is thorough and impressive. Additionally despite my personal politics (I am voting Democrat for the reality of President Kamala Harris in November 2024 regardless) I am glad that Trump survived and  do not agree or condone with the attempted murder of Trump. However because Matthew Thomas Crooks was already an adult at the time of his death I respectfully disagree with the possibility of his father being sentenced. Ethan Crumbley was only 15 yeas old shooting up innocent people inside a high school and so I can understand why in this case his parents had to pay the price that temporarily affects their freedom. However Matthew Thomas Crooks was already an adult at the time of his shooting and had no one else to live for when he was off of work as a nursing home cook. By no means do I excuse of condone Crooks behavior rather I am just pointing out the obvious that because Crooks did not have any friends, no romantic partner and probably had lots of  idle free time outside of his nursing home cook job were multiple factors of a perfect storm contributing to his behavior also indicating a lack of will to live, not afraid to die for his extreme beliefs (also in a similar way of Japanese Kamikaze pilots in World War 2 andor suicide bombers in dangerous parts of the Middle East taking the lives of innocent people along with taking their own life).
