Why does Em keep wearing the Kangol hats ? 🤔

I am currently reading Not Afraid by Anthony Bozza and I think I figured out why Em wears the Kangol hats we love to hate 👀.

Here is what Bozza writes in the book :

Proof was actually buried wearing a Kangol Cap. What if that’s the reason why Em started wearing these ?

Thinking back, I don’t think he was spotted rocking these hats until after Proof died, so it would sort of make sense 🤔. If that’s the case, I think that’s a sweet nod ❤️ - and I will stop the Kangol hate 👀.

Anyway, i am really enjoying the book. It is really insightful, not only about Em’s career, but also about the music industry !

Such a dope medley. Would have been doper if Em came out for "Murdergran Deux". Especially after he won the Hip-Hop VMA that night. Would have been the cherry on top of a great evening.

Loved the red kangol papa smurf/Fred Durst shit with the crowd.

After this and the new LP, I'm strongly considering diggin through LL's discography.
