Kids and adults both love these Grilled BBQ Chicken Skewers. When you mix the juicy, flavorful chicken with the smoke from the grill, you get a great summer BBQ dish.

Ingredients: 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes. 1 cup BBQ sauce. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.

Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Put olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Also add BBQ sauce. Stick the chicken cubes on the soaked skewers. Use the BBQ sauce mixture to coat the chicken skewers all the way through. Put the skewers on a grill that has already been heated up. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, turning them over every so often, until the chicken is cooked all the way through and has a nice char. During the last few minutes of cooking, baste the skewers with more BBQ sauce. Take them off the grill and give them a minute or two to rest before you serve them. Add extra BBQ sauce to the side so that you can dip the meat.

Ingredients: 2 cups whole milk. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Assorted food coloring optional.

Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until sugar is fully dissolved. If desired, separate the mixture into smaller bowls and add different food coloring to each bowl to create colorful layers. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. Insert popsicle sticks into each mold. Freeze the popsicles for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely frozen. Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds by running them under warm water for a few seconds. Serve immediately or store in the freezer in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.
