Hello, I've been plagued by these three. Had created a female yautja named Kioda who is a stoic clan leader and then decided she should get two human lovers as a treat...,,,however,,,Xenia n Maynelis aren't her lovers.....yet.

Why? Cause I like making things harder on myself :)

BUT basically, they exist to help raise her nieces who were kidnapped by the Weyland-Yutani Corp for a short time. Also, one of them has super powers, and the other has a hit on her from a rival clan. So yeah that's what been going on for me, I'll go more in depth of them soon, hopefully 🤞🏼since i believe im close to a solid premise,,,,i just need to iron out on some details 🫶🏽

A bunch of characters from the book I’ve been writing for years. It takes place during the Neolithic. The heroine, Zya, is a runt who has a weird appearance (yes, there’s a reason she’s so damn pale and tiny with a weird face). She’s from a village near a great forest. So there’s Zya, then Kioda, her mom, who’s the village’s healer (she taught Zya, too). At the bottom, Lizza and Neyaan, her friends, who are twins. Svigar is also from the village, and the others aren’t. :) K’iar and T’iê, for example, are nomads of the Amber Tribe.

These are names I’ve come up with randomly because I liked how they sounded.

I won’t guarantee they aren’t existing words or names in other languages, because there are finite syllables and combinations of syllables that people can pronounce, and I’ve come up with original names before only to be pleasantly surprised to find they already existed. (for instance: I came up with the name Sahiba, then googled it and found it’s already an Arabic name that means ‘lady’. Which is just cool.)

They’re sorted into alphabetical order, and you will quickly notice that I tend to combine certain letters together, lol.

Some of these might just be actual greek names from mythology that got mixed in with the rest, but IDK enough about greek to filter them out lol.

99% of these are names I came up with for daemons over the years.

She had no idea how she’d gotten in here, or why so many people were chasing her. She just knows that she’d been outside before, and now…

She was scared. Every time she would hide, people would grab at her, and every time she ran, they’d chase after her and make all kinds of loud noises, and–!

“What is going on out here? I told you, chasing it down is only going to scare it even more.” 

Oh, a gap! She could get in there! One of those strange, noisy creatures had come out of it though. One that made all the others stop in their tracks. He must be the alpha here. 

Tummy lowers to the ground, and she tries to scoot her way past, ears pressed back against her head. Maybe he would take pity on her and let her go. She didn’t know how much longer she could run for. She was sleepy, and hungry, and–

Oh! A wiggly thing! Where did that come from? 

The kitten pounces at it, talons latching on to the fabric to play. It wiggles through the air away from her before she can get it in her mouth though, and she chases it down, darting this way and that to try to outsmart it.

“Hmm? Oh, so you found the calygreyhound? And it looks like you could use a new tie.” She hears a new voice now, but she pays it no mind. She’s just about to catch the thing!

“Yeah, the others were chasing her around for the better part of an hour, the poor thing. And I don’t really give a damn about the tie– it was uncomfortable, anyway. JJ’s stopping at the store to grab some food on his way back, but…”

“You’re going to bring her home?”

“I think so. Better than sending her off somewhere else, and it’s not like I don’t have the room. We had them back where I was growing up, so I know how to handle them.” A surprised mew, and a bit of a struggle as she’s picked up, though she settles down when the man starts petting around her ears and head. “I’ve been calling her Koda.”

“Koda? Why–” The woman pauses, looking down at the now still fabric on the floor, and raising a brow. On the back or the tie, the label with the designer name (Dekkioda) was all but shredded from the kitten’s talons. All but the “kioda” piece, and even then, the “i” had been nearly scratched out as well.

“Oh, I see.” She laughs, shaking her head and moving to rub under Koda’s chin as she dozed off. “Well, she is awfully cute, I suppose. If you don’t take her, let me know, and I will.”

As Kioda got to one of the open lobbies he sees that there only two other girls there one looks like she was out of a fantasy book the other looked like a nice lady he just sat on the couch as waited for the round to start

Miniso records sales at Rs 700cr for first year, experts sceptical

N. & Associates - NEW DELHI: A relatively lesser known Japanese-Chinese retailer has won the hearts of Indian consumers as well as mall owners, garnering more sales per square foot than anchor retailers and global fashion giants Zara and Hennes & Mauritz (H&M).Since its arrival in August 2017, Miniso claims it has generated sales of Rs 700 crore in its first year from 26 outlets. In comparison, Swedish fashion retailer H&M posted Rs 834 crore of revenue in the first 17 months of its operations after it entered India in October 2015.“We received an overwhelming response since our first store launch in August 2017 in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, Delhi,” said Miyake Junya, cofounder, Miniso.However, some experts are sceptical of Miniso’s first-year sales figures, which dwarf even Zara’s sales per square foot, the benchmark of retailing in India. Zara, on an average, generates monthly sales of Rs 7,000-7,500 per sq ft, according to industry sources. Compared with that, Miniso’s average monthly sales for the first year were Rs 11,070 per sq ft, as per its figures.“That is a very high average, especially when average unit value is not very high,” said Devangshu Dutta, chief executive of retail consultant Third Eyesight.Miniso sells products including fashion accessories, household items, cosmetics, stationery, toys, kitchenware and electronics that are priced from Rs 75 to Rs 1,500 to target value-conscious consumers, especially the young. New products fill up stores every week.Harminder Sahni, founder of retail consultancy Wazir Advisors, explains why Indians are fascinated. “Every time you go there, you see new products at affordable price points. The whole idea is the novelty factor. Otherwise, as a brand, who knew about them? The challenge will be copy cats and competition coming in. She declined to share sales figures but said she was “very happy” with the performance of the retailer’s outlet in Mall of India in Noida, where it has a revenue-sharing agreement with the mall. “It has to do with the concept, which is so low-priced,” said Bector. “(Also), Indians love range and Miniso has a range at fabulous prices.
