I mean, I knew. 

Still, wait, no, I KNEW. I HAVE NO EXCUSE. I KNEW, BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS PLOT or lack thereof? 😂 The things I do for Ono Yuuki...

Anyway, know that this is PWP to the max and if you’re a plothoe like me, this ain’t for you. We’ll just go straight to the production now.

For those who haven’t noticed already, this is reversed DakaOtoko. It’s not that I haven’t heard TakaHiro as a top before, but as I’ve said in previous reviews, he’s pretty hit and miss. Thankfully, however, he did pretty well. It’s a far cry from his Renjaku-san performance that I love and adore, but he survived at least. Goddamn, DakaOtoko 4 really fucked me up. Sorry, TakaHiro. For more context, he (as well as Kishow and Suzuki Chihiro) pauses and rushes at odd moments. Like rapping then stopping suddenly lmao. It’s not really obvious in Haga, but it’s 100% there if you listen for it. He did have his moments, though. His daddy moments. Best believe this man could be the next Kenyuu or Sugitan if he sets his mind to it. 

As for Ono Yuuki, the true MVP of this BLCD, I felt like he did a bit too much.  😂 It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I can’t deny that he managed to swallow TakaHiro up in this performance. You gotta hand it to this man. His Haga was like a mix of Tattsun’s Gian Carlo, Okitsu’s Maki from Kuchizuke o wa Uso no Aji, and his own Minato. All the queen sluts combined! No wonder everyone else drowned. 😂 And aww I missed Ono Yuuki in more comedic roles. It’s been such a long while. I wish for more of these (but I’m really fine with settling with just Dante for now). 

As for the rest of the cast, I’m pleasantly surprised that they did very well. Ishiya Haruki’s very dynamic here. He could easily match energies with OnoYuu’s Haga, adding to the authentic chaotic omega broham shebang. There’s one of the last three who has Moririn’s range tho. I’m still gonna check that out later, but I was really shook. I hope he does more BL. We need you, sir. 

Overall, the execution was fine. They did cut some dialogue here and there, but there weren’t any major changes. If chaotic omegaverse is your dig, then definitely give this a try. I’m not really an abo enjoyer, so I can’t recommend anything similar sumimasen. The things I do for Ono Yuuki x 2 There’s Kashikomarimashita, Destiny, though.

So I started to watch a new shojo and I really like it!! Looks like Viz got the rights to release the manga. SO I'm very excited!! It's called Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits. I also am starting Steins;Gate. I was told there some romance in it so I'll give it a shot. Now that the kids are at school I can catch up on some really old anime I wanted to watch and some new stuff!! I think I'll marathon Attack on Titan tho.

TRANSLATORS NEEDED, SUPER DAMN NEEDED!!

We really need Type Setters. We lost a full time TS so we really need some help. You’ll need to have a lot of free time because we work really fast here and having just one person go MIA or take forever on one chapter can screw the team up big time. And that goes to every position. So if you have the time and experience we could really use your help. With the kids out of school I can only do so much. As it stands now we have about 5 manga’s that need to be TS. We really do need a permanent full time TSer ｡･ﾟﾟ*(>д<)*ﾟﾟ･｡

On to cleaners, we also lost a full time cleaner. She’s on hiatus and said she’ll be back in a couple months but she can’t promise me anything. So if you have free time and experience please help us out. We’re dying here (｡T ω T｡)

The stress of finding people to help is real, and it’s starting to wear me down. Right now it’s only me as a cleaner for the group. We do have some re-translators that clean but they are not part of the group and only work on the things they do.

I’m not begging, this is for your own good. If we can’t find help then no group. I will not work our staff and myself to the bone to do this anymore. So if we get no help then it’s going to be bare minimum until we get some more staff 〣( ºΔº )〣

Conman X CEO. The things i love about this manga is you could learn some about human mind, some bussiness related,  clever trick of uke. He gave me a feel like KID in Conan and the feel, you knew its wrong, you’ll get trick but you are digging too deep inside those issue, love, trap and couln’t get out. It’s interesting life when living while always guard and curious what Mario will do next. And his personal life is mysterious. Overall, Its satisfy me.

Okay so I just read a good chunk of Kuchizuke wa Uso no Aji or Kiss tastes like lies and it’s not bad.

I wouldn’t say it’s GOOD ENOUGH to get on my rec list but I’m posting it here for those who may be interested.

It’s basically the story of a douchebag CEO getting caught up with a con artist.

I’m all about slutty ukes who aren’t good people. To be clear, the relationship they have is NOT HEALTHY.  There is a power imbalance in the relationship tilted toward the bottom, but the top is hardly a pure cinnamon roll.  So I enjoyed it on that level.

However the story is kinda repetitive, there is some abusive behavior, and I’m sure some people would find it frustrating that the CEO (despite the treatment he gets) keeps going back to the slimy conman.

Thankfully there is no rape in this story.  There is threatened sexual assault from some no-name baddies, but it doesn’t go further than that so far.

The art is fine, but I will say I like the dynamic poses on these covers.
