Watercolour portrait of a diseased pig! I used more teabag drippings for some of this. I got the most scrumptious tea from Kusmi Tea yesterday, it’s called Prince Vladimir and tastes like being in a fluffy blanket on a rainy day. This has no guidelines or ink; only watercolour. They are mildly mouldy because I spit in them once, wondering how the components in my saliva would bond to the pigment. It made a decent paint, for the time.

birthday month = I get to do whatever I want whenever I want which is frankly not different from any other month but this month in particular means everything is a celebration of me by me including the Korean fried chicken im about to have after having bought four kinds of teas in fancy stores (kusmi and santos)

Hello Tahyal!💕 So I've been wanting to start drinking tea a bit more consistently. When I was little I didn't like the taste of it but now I'm starting to enjoy it and I find it very relaxing in general. Do you know any kind of tea that has a nice flavour for a "beginner", something that is also easy to find and that has health benefits?

Hi! My favorite brands (for taste) are Dammann Frères, Kusmi Tea, and La grande épicerie (LGE teas are unfortunately only available in store in Paris, but you never know lol if you ever pass by Paris grab a few they’re delicious).

For specific flavors, I think that florals (anything that has rose, lavender, cornflower, jasmine) combined with vanilla or cardamom is heavenly, especially paired with black teas. So look out for that in the ingredient list!

Some other ingredients I love are rhubarb, bergamot, caramel, and basil.

I grew up on Salada Orange Pekoe, so it may not be the fanciest of teas, but it tastes like home.

Lately, I've been looking for a replacement to a discontinued favorite, the Kusmi Tea Euphoria. It was a grilled matte with chocolate and orange.

Oh yeah, and camomile is great.

Césure (re)fait sa Nuit Blanche - 1er juin 2024 Thé Magic Cloud exposé à la cantine de Césure jusqu'au 14 juin Ce grand mobile abrite des mots sous forme de mantras, des couleurs, et des marbrures. Prendre le temps : méditer et rêver. C'est le jeu d'équilibre, de tension, entre la pesanteur et la légèreté de nos vies. Recto. Verso : au gré du vent, les miroirs, (nos âmes?) se reflètent, ainsi que les couleurs. Chacun voit le monde à travers son propre filtre. Lire ou comprendre les "mantras" à se guise, et chercher le papillon !

Matériaux utilisés

> structure portante 

 fleur/rosace (,20m de diamètre) formée de 7 abat jours ronds accrochés les uns aux autres (diamètre 50 cm) chacun porteur d'une "toile d'araignée" en fil de pêche.

> suspendus (fil de pêche) : -un papillon en dentelle ancienne - un "nuage" de couleurs (feuilles recto/verso recouvertes de peinture acrylique) et de marbrures recto/verso : 35 carrés environ , et de miroirs. Une harmonie mouvante de couleurs autour du bleu outremer et quelques touches de doré (format 20x20cm) - Faisant partie du nuage, une quinzaine de citations issues des étiquettes des tisanes kusmi tea, sur du papier calque dans un format plus grand (37,7x37,5cm), peintes en doré, comme des vœux, maintenus par des tasseaux de bois en haut et en bas, lextés par des petites billes de métal

土曜日は西山眞砂子さんの「旅するお針仕事」ワークショップでした。ご参加いただきました皆さま有難うございました。いつもお申し込みスタート日にあっという間に定員となってしまう人気のワークショップですが、今回も高知や愛媛、東京など関西以外からご参加いただく方も多く西山先生のWSを楽しみにされている方々と会話も楽しみながら和やかにお過ごしいただきました。

テーマはリバティプリントの布箱。以前の課題で何度か布箱を教えて頂きましたが、大きさやフタになる布選びで雰囲気も変わるので使う用途に合わせて色々なサイズが欲しくなってしまいます。以前のWSで布箱をつくられた方が裁縫箱として使っているのを持ってきてくださったり、実際お使いいただいている場面も拝見できて嬉しい場面にも出会えました。西山先生が出来上がった布箱の中に入れて帰って下さい！とこの日は節分だったので福豆のお土産のサプライズや、布箱のキットの余り布でつくられたコースターのプレゼントもあって先生のお心使いにも感謝です。今回も楽しいワークショップをありがとうございました！（午後からのお写真を撮り忘れていて、後半はお客様よりのお写真です。こちらもありがとうございました）

お針仕事のあとのお茶時間には、御所西の菓歩菓歩さんの米粉の黒豆ロールケーキ（栗入り）とKUSMI TEAのオーガニックアールグレーをご用意しました。菓歩菓歩さんには早めにご用意いただいたりご無理お願いしましたが、ご協力頂きありがとうございました。hisocaの今年初めてのワークショップも無事に終えられてホッと。年間通して色々と開催していますので、タイミングが合いましたらぜひご参加お待ちしております。
